Sometimes I come across Tumblr blogs devoted to Spain but that won't talk about inside politics or history, just about the Mediterranean, the history of the state as a whole, and Spanish culture and food understood as Andalusian / Mediterranean.

I guess the bloggers - generally USAmericans -, even if they offer it as super informative and politically unbiased, want to write about the idea of Spain they have, not about Spain.

De Lutxana a Sodupe_El ferrocarril del Cadagua 2ª parte

El ferrocarril de la Robla se construyó para transportar carbón de las cuencas hulleras leonesas v palentinas a la industria siderúrgica vizcaína y a otras fábricas (más de un centenar) del entorno de la Ría en Bilbao. El primer tramo de la línea férrea fue el comprendido entre La Robla (León) y Valmaseda (Vizcaya), de ahí el nombre Compañí­a del Ferrocarril Hullero de La Robla a Valmaseda. El tramo hasta Luchana entró en servicio en el año 1902. El edificio de la estación, en Luchana, fue compartido con el de la estación del ferrocarril de Bilbao a Portugalete, situación que subsiste en la actualidad.
