I can't stop thinking about how this entire thing with Genosha is also echoing a real life genocide happening right now in Palestine. Every sentence that characters say seem to echo the sentiments of people that are dying in front of us. For example, Scott's comment about "if they looked a bit more human, you'd have focused on death tolls over polls" hits so close to home, because aren't Palestinians dehumanized to the point that governments don't even care about their deaths?

They only care about being called antisemitic because Israel said so, but they don't care about the fact that what is truly antisemitic in this situation is to allow the same thing that happened to Jews during the Holocaust happen to another group of people as if it was ok for them to die. It's both antisemitic and islamophobic. I can't stop thinking that Scott's frustration kind of also echoes our own with our governments and politicians who do absolutely nothing to help and only care about their politics over human lives that are being lost. And even go so far to outlaw peaceful protests simply because we as people, as a united front across borders stand with Palestine and they see it as a threat.

I personally can't imagine someone watching this show and not start feeling compassion towards the real people that suffer the same thing. If episodes 5 and 7 don't trigger understanding in you, and you still think that Israel is in the right, try to look at those mutants. Yes, they have powers. Yes, they could use them against humans, but even if some of them do, it doesn't mean every single one of them deserves to be treated as an enemy for the fact they're not the same as you.

If this cartoon ever taught me anything (and I mean both the old and the new version), then it was compassion towards those that are not the same as me. Taught me to care about people different than me.

oh yeah, i think it's important to differentiate between the ideas of a "jewish ethnostate" and a "jewish homeland", as a jew myself especially --

of course we deserve a place where we feel safe, a place that puts emphasis on caring for us and not treating us like dirt. but that is not the same as a place that allows ONLY us to be there. (and we are talking about a mass of land, not an affinity club or anything -- we're talking about somewhere people live. who gets to be a part of it is not something you should be policing on lines of race or religion.) we have no right to lay claim to land and force other people out of it. we have no right to a jewish ethnostate.

"oh but if there are any non-jews in our land they'll treat us badly like they always have!!!" no, that's just cynical nonsense. if anything, you're letting the antisemites win by agreeing with the omnipresence of their bigotry. yes, tons of people have been horrible to us. that won't get better by running away from them and hurting other people in the process.

also, it is very worthy of note that jews and their ancestors have lived in palestine, for a great portion of history in fact, but were conquered multiple times by multiple empires and expelled to the diaspora. of course jews want to live in palestine! of course! but palestinians are just as indigenous to the land as we are -- we have absolutely NO right to kill them and kick them out and say it isn't their home (which is exactly what so many empires did to us, in the same land no less).

endorsing zionism and anti-palestinian rhetoric, as a jew, is hypocritical, cruel, and wrong. let palestine be free, as they (and we) deserve to be. they are facing the same terrors we have; let us stand with them.

Wanting to only give back the West Bank and Gaza to Palestinians while continuing to occupy the rest of historic Palestine and not allowing the Palestinian refugees who were ethnically-cleansed from there to return doesn't make a person any less of a Zionist from those who want to continue occupying all of Palestine from the river to the sea, no matter how much they swear they are not a Zionist.

after killing 40 Palestinian journalists (+ many journalists who survived but their entire families were killed because their HOMES were targeted), zionists are now spreading dangerous propaganda linking journalists to hamas to

it is important to remember how heavily surveilled Gaza is and how israel knows where every single person lives. this is why many journalists have been martyred, not in the field while reporting, but in their homes, as they went home to see their families and get some rest. furthermore, if you follow motaz azaiza closely, you'll know that recently he has also had some close calls with israeli airstrikes, suggesting that israel is indeed targeting active Palestinian journalists, especially those who report in english or have a lot of reach in the west.

please do not fall for israeli propaganda and convince yourselves that israel is justified in murdering innocent Palestinians who only seek to show the world a small glimpse of the hell they live through everyday. call out this propaganda everywhere you see it, and spread awareness about this being a propaganda tactic. by israel's own logic, if journalists happen to record an armed group as they carry out an operation, then journalists from cnn who have embedded themselves with the idf, are also legitimate targets.

and as much as i hate a lot of these american journalists for their complicit reporting in the genocide of Palestinians, i think they deserve to be prosecuted in a free and fair court of law, not to be blown to bits for it. however, for israel, ALL palestinians must be killed to ensure the security of the zionist entity. even the existence of a single Palestinian is proof that israel is an illegitmate settler-colonial state that ethnically cleansed the indigenous population.

a lot of you are not understanding the magnitude of this genocide. when a permanent ceasefire and end to the occupation/genocide happen (which it will, inshallah), it’s not like palestinians can go back to living life as they used to.

where will they get their food if crops/plant life have been destroyed by the idf?

where will children and adults learn if schools have been destroyed by the idf?

where will they rest if their homes have been destroyed by the idf?

where will the sick and injured go if hospitals have been destroyed by the idf?

a generation of people will be deprived of basic necessities for years to come once palestine is rebuilt. how will they live? how can they go back?

I find it weird that someone’s first instinct is to say I'm uneducated for not supporting israel. ive done a lot of research and to say so is to take away the integrity of having a debate, instead of just being upset i don't agree with you. why is it wrong to say that israel should not have occupation over gaza? if it emboldened hamas would we not just fight against hamas instead of killing innocent civilians in the name of doing so?

to say that me saying 'it was sixth months ago' is calloused and that i'm saying everyone should get over it, is to completely misinterpret my point, so the irony of people to tag misinformation is astounding. What I meant is that to still argue that what israel are doing: starving people, killing over 30000, bombing homes and hospitals, is not easily justified with the argument of october 7th anymore, as it is completely outweighed by their inhumane genocidal actions.

There’s no denying that it was wrong and horrific, but there's even people doubting israel's claimed death toll of that day, alongside many other claims they put out. Whilst there is also speculation of claims from gaza, the claims of the idf torturing and raping prisoners alongside the rest of their actions, makes it seem weird and callous to me to argue that killing palestinians is right for this event. and yes, of course the focus is on hostages still in gaza, but is this israel's focus? what about them killing people not even involved. i’ve heard many say palestinians are not innocent also, because they voted hamas, which is the most cruel and unjust thing ive ever heard.

So, to say I have a lack of understanding is really one sided, as you clearly have a bias, and so do your rebloggers who are claiming im antisemitic when there is no claim in any of my posts that is against jews. Where in my posts is it untrue or incorrect? id really like to know because nowhere have i showed a lack of concern for lives, in fact i openly condemn the actions of hamas. maybe you all need to self reflect, because you seem to lack any consideration for the innocent palestinians if it means israel get to retaliate for hamas' actions? my original post regarding this was about the ignorance of the us and the military side of this, as this is clearly a political issue that many are projecting onto. ( which we can see with how iran have retaliated and how the uk have responded ) I'm not antisemitic, nor do i condone the killing of jews in israel. for you to say so baffles me with your narrow sighted view and complete disregard for anything ive said. it seems to me that many who have seen my post have an agenda, and are desperate to show that me being pro-palestine makes me antisemitic and pro-hamas.

I understood that making a post like this would incite many to argue for the sake of arguing, and many to completely misinterpret my words to make their point. Still, I hope you can find it in yourselves to be as sympathetic to the lives of those suffering in palestine as you are to those in israel. Please take a break from the internet and look around you to realise that this is not people discriminating against jews, it’s people being against the genocide Israel is committing with the desire for both sides to be free from this conflict.

@jewishlivesmatter I can’t tag you or even reblog your post, suggesting you’ve blocked me or something similar. This shows the propaganda and biased view you’re attempting to portray, which is really harmful if you agree with others that palestinians are not innocent and deserve this. I know we're well past this at this point but the actual issue with a lot of the coverage both activists and like regular news organizations have on the Palestinian Genocide is that people keep misconstruing it as a Jews vs Muslims War.

#flattening down Israel to “Jews” benefits their state in so many ways #it has been a continued justification for its perpetuation internationally #but Israel has no protections for Holocaust survivors or SWANA jewish people #who frequently live in poverty and are sterilized respectively #If instead you are focusing on whether you believe Jews or Muslims deserve to live more you are deciding on an arbitrary factor #that doesn't even influence whether the state DOING GENOCIDE protects the people you are talking about #I think of the Blonde Palestinian Children who were kidnapped because they're white passing so they must secretly be Israeli #and how they have been permanently ripped from their families and deposited in Israel #and I think of the jewish man who was killed by the IDF who had been trying for years to be granted israeli citizenship #but had been rejected on the grounds of Palestinian allegiance #Remember that part of what you are fighting for is the inherent diversity of the Levant #and if you ignore it Israeli propaganda that relies on you caring about one group over the other and dictates to you who is in what group #succeeds and gains international legitimacy #Free Palestine
