4.0 ARCHON QUEST SPOILERS

I was watching about videos about the Hydro Dragon, and how eveytime it wepts it rains in Fontaine, and I think everyone has linked that Neuvillette is the Hydro Dragon.

So I thought of this idea, reader is already in a relationship with Neuvillette and he has told reader who he really is (the Hydro Dragon) so reader knows that when he crys it rains in Fontaine and reader would go and comfort Neuvillette in his office.

So (this is set when Navia comes out of Neuvillette's office) and reader is having a walk around Fontaine then it starts raining, pouring. Reader realises what happened then rushes to Neuvillette's office, desprestly trying go and comfort him. Once reader get's there they have to threaten to break down the door in order for Neuvillette to open the door. Then Neuvillette allows reader into his office and then a string of words just come out Neuvillette's mouth about the case with Navia's father and how he should've done something to stop the dual and his death, the guilt and regret that Neuvillette felt.

By this time Neuvillette is crying, and reader comforts Neuvillette, caressing his hair, pulling him into reader's chest and rocking him as they sit on the floor in front of the door of his office whispering gentle phrases combating his word, the lights are off just the musty grey sky giving minimal lighting into his office.

you had just gone to visit the melusines, an act you did very often. nothing could have gone wrong.

it’s been raining for a while now, but it’s not rain falling onto your face. your hazy eyes lock with his, neither of you can stop the tears.

“hydro dragon, hydro dragon… don’t cry…” you use your last breath to utter a painful request. the only request he can’t fulfill.

the dragon cries. he cries, and cries, hoping his rain can fill the hole you’ve left in his heart.
