Like djkfgwk fearplay ?? The giant impatiently drumming their nails next to wear the tiny is hiding?? Or worse, against the side of the jar they've trapped the tiny in???

How much more unnerving would it be for the tiny to be held/poked/prodded by a hand with long nails?? A whole lot less soft and a whole lot more intimidating I'd assume 👀

But not just fearplay- the fluff??? The tiny taking their time painting intricate designs on the giants nails?? Holding their finger tip in their lap as the fuss over details arguably too small for the human eye to fully appreciate??

Or maybe a lil spicier?? Using the tip of one's nail to tilt up the tiny's chin?? Pinning them down with the nails ever so slightly digging in??? (Or slipping it underneath their shirt to pop off the buttons like a letter opener)

OR the pathetic hilarity of a giant being useless with their new set of nails. Like the giant struggling to pick up their debit card off a flat surface, begging the tiny for help while the tiny just teases them?? (Bonus points if the teasing results in one of the above scenarios)

Okay so I know you said you don't want Jazz to have any major abilities like mind control, but what about a passive one? My idea is that she could actually subconsciously influence the feelings or restraint of the people around her. It could even be an ability she has at home that she just never noticed. Her parents have their own immunity to it thanks to all the ectoplasmic exposure, but it's helped a couple times with convincing teachers to look the other way for her brother. Clockwork tells her about it when they go to the DCU, so she has the perfect opportunity to practice using it consciously by causing riots via hundreds of people's misplaced aggression (which helps her get her own anger and stress out too).

Actually, that's a really good idea! Passive abilities in the DP characters could be fun to explore and possibly put a hitch in their plans if they have to work around it. I'm all for crack fics where one side is completely blindsided over and over again, but if someone wanted to make it a little more serious, factoring in possible passive abilities can lead to moments where the superheroes actually have a chance at catching/defeating Fenton and the others if they manage to find out about those abilities and use it to their advantage.

As you said, Jazz seems like the best candidate for this; she could be the force that gets the ball rolling. Because if Jazz has passive supernatural abilities, then what are the chances Danny and the others have some too? After all, they've been exposed to ectoplasm more than Jazz, and she was never tangled up with a ghost for a long time. (Right? It's been a while since I've watched the show. I don't think she was possessed for a super long time by a powerful ghost or anything.) Or maybe she developed that passive talent as a defense against the more powerful ghosts, and the others don't have that kind of ability at all.

Emotional manipulation is a scary ability, after all; maybe Clockwork allowed her to join Danny for the sake of refining her power.

A Headcanon: the Dragonborn (that applies to Miraak, too!) exhibit some dragon-like characteristics when they experience intense emotions, such as anger, anticipation, excitement, etc. Say, you approach a feral Dragonborn for instance, and you may notice their eyes swiftly elongating into vertical serpent-like slits with every beat of their heart. They may also seem taller and bigger somehow, as though they are surrounded by a mysterious enchanting aura that shrinks their mortal appearance, and if someone is to glimpse at their shadow, it may flicker between the Dragonborn's respective race form and a dragon's—specifically wings and horns are very distinctive in their shade. Not to mention their voice—it gets deeper, more throaty, and more thundering that it can cause a tremble or two even though the Dragonborn may not fully use the Thu'um.

Listen! Tharn has horrific trust issues and doesn't trust anyone, not just Phaya okay!

Like he clearly doesn't even trust Yai and the Abbot because of his issues! Because yes he knows Yai, basically his brother, believes Phaya would rather die than hurt Tharn so much he flat out told Phaya he can't die cause he already gave him Tharn to protect. And yes he knows the Abbot, who raised him, has continuously told him he needs to fully trust Phaya will take care of him. But he has trust issues okay! Those just don't go away! He can't just trust Phaya okay!

Though he does trust Chalothon and thinks he's a good guy. Even when he knew about Phaya's dreams that only Tharn knew about and basically accused Phaya of losing his mind, clinically, in front of everyone at their work at a crime scene. But it obviously makes complete sense he trusts him implicitly and never questions anything cause he's known him his whole life! That's not something you can just throw aside for some boyfriend, soulmate or not, you know!

But then, wait...why doesn't he trust Yai and the Abbot the same?

But I'm glad he knows Chalothon is the problem now. Sucks for him about everything because of it. Hope it works out for him in the one remaining episode. Don't really care either way anymore regardless.
