When do you think President Snow first looked at Katniss and felt the spectre of Lucy Gray looming over him? Like, what was the moment, at what point does he realize just how similar they are, and just how dangerous Katniss is?
It could've been on Reaping Day, from the very first moment she volunteered, but I don't think so. Does Snow even watch the Reaping? It might've been during the parade, when the pretty girl from District 12 charmed the audience and captured the attention of the Capitol, but I don't think that's it either.
I've narrowed it down to two moments, and I can't decide which I think it is- when Katniss shot the apple, or when Katniss sang to Rue. Both are moments of rebellion, and both have a certain flair for the dramatic Lucy would have approved of, so really it could be either. The apple came first, but Snow wasn't actually there for that one, he'd've only heard about it second hand. I think it definitely gave him pause, but I don't know if he realized then who she could become.
Rue's death, though, that was on screen for the world to see, and at that point the similarities were undeniable. When he saw Katniss cradling Rue, did he think of Lucy singing the Valley song in the zoo, or of when she 'charmed' the snake mutts in the arena? When he watched Katniss cover Rue in flowers, do you think he remembered Sejanus, with his breadcrumbs for the dead?
How many ghosts did she conjure for him? And when did he realize she was more than any of them could have hoped for?

Maybe this is like a fandom duh, idk, I'm on my first watch and haven't sought out any meta stuff cause I'm semi avoiding spoilers. But we just watched the Defiant retaking DS9 in season 6, and he fully just pulled a Moses and closed the red sea on the Dominion reinforcements. That was basically the definition of a religious miracle.

Apparently this is a Hot Take, but imo pets do not need to be groomed to the same standards as show dogs. There is no need to force a scared dog to deal with loud force dryers and meticulous fluff drying just to make sure the coat is perfectly straight. Kennel drying is not a bad thing. The cut may not be as perfectly even, but does it really need to be? As long as the coat is clean and brushed out thoroughly, I don't see the problem.
In an ideal world, every dog would be comfortable with the whole grooming process, but that's not the reality I'm working with. I groom pets, and many of those pets come to me either never having been groomed or having had bad experiences with grooming. Teaching them that grooming doesn't have to be scary or difficult takes time, and if the owners don't do the work at home, their dogs may never be 100% comfortable on my table. I would rather send a dog home with a cute but less than perfect haircut than force them through a process that terrifies them. This is doubly true for doodles, since half of their owners prefer the wavy rustic look anyway.
I work for myself so thankfully I don't have to have this argument irl, but I am so tired of seeing it in my professional groups. Some groomers are just so hung up on turning out the 'perfect' groom that they disregard the wellbeing of the animal in front of them. It's not worth it, the owner doesn't care (if they did they would have done more to make the dog comfortable from the get go) and it makes such a huge difference for the dog's experience.
