“One thing that I’m super grateful that my parents did, and my mom deserves so much credit because she was mainly the one getting up at 5 a.m. to take us to the 6 a.m. practices while my dad was on the road, was that we were never allowed to play hockey 24/7, 365 days like some of these kids do now,” said Tkachuk. “My parents were all about playing every sport you can. I think that’s what allowed me to not get burnt out and my love for the game kept growing and growing more.”

“Don’t touch Bob and there won’t be any problems,” When asked about Tampa Bay and the two goalie interference calls against the Lightning in Game 5.

“We are really excited to get a few days of rest and get rejuvenated, but it’s the playoffs and you just want to be out there playing,”

With three first-round matchups still ongoing, Tkachuk spoke on how hard it is to close things out.

“The fourth game in a playoff series is always the hardest to win because no matter what you are in the series, the other team is so desperate playing for their lives you have to find a way to match that or exceed that,” said Tkachuk.

Something that can help with closing out a series is playing in front of a home crowd.

“It’s a tough question because last year in playoffs are team was lights out on the road and it didn’t matter where we played,”

“When playing in Florida, we have such great fans and the building is so loud, I think home ice is important for us, having the extra potential game seven at home, you always want to have that at home. I think our fans are so loud and we’ve made this rink here in Florida a tough place to play, so I think home ice is important for our team, it’s an extra layer you can add to the series. I think we have great fans, so it’s important for us.”

Among the recent sellout crowds at Amerant Bank Arena, Miami Dolphins Jalen Ramsey and Jaylen Waddle have come out to support and hype up the crowd with the banging of the pre-game drum.

Knowing Waddle was there, Tkachuk told the show he was planning on a big goal celebration in salute of the fellow local superstar.

“If I scored I was going to do the ‘Waddle’ because he was there,” said Tkachuk. “He’s my favorite football player.”

While it didn’t happen that game, McAfee called for Tkachuk to bring in the dance celebration next time he lights the lamp.

Despite Jey’s brilliant defense of Sami at the Tribal Court, Roman still needed to put Sami through the final test. When Sami refused to let Roman hit Kevin with the steel chair, he agrees with Sami that he is better than that and Sami should do it instead.

This wasn’t going to be good.

Sami just deflates and that angered Roman. It angered him so much that he put his hands on Sami. This was Sami’s final straw. As Roman turns around after telling Sami that he’s “theirs”, Sami did the unthinkable. The steel chair that I once remember going to Roman’s back nine years ago, hit him again. A Georgia judge on Friday denied bond for Harrison Floyd, the only one of 18 co-defendants in former President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Fulton County to stay in jail, and the former Black Voices for Trump leader has a history of politics and legal trouble.

Key Facts

Floyd, a 39-year-old U.S. Marine veteran, served as the director of the political group Black Voices for Trump during the 2020 election cycle, and was charged last week in the Fulton County case with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, for influencing a witness and conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements.

According to the indictment, Floyd pressured Ruby Freeman, an election worker in Fulton County, after she refused to change the results of the county’s vote in the 2020 election for Trump, with Freeman testifying before the House January 6 Committee last year that she was forced to leave her home for two months and quit her job after receiving threats after the election.

Floyd, a graduate of George Washington University, had become a prominent Republican in Georgia in recent years, running in 2019 for a Congressional seat.

Floyd dropped out of the race just over a month after announcing his candidacy, saying he “might be the guy doing this in the future,” while expressing his support for a GOP state representative in his place (Democrat Carolyn Bourdeaux won the district in 2020).

In 2020, Floyd led the organization Black Voices for Trump, and also served as executive producer of right-wing outlet Bright News and as a partner at Washington D.C.-based Commonwealth International, according to his LinkedIn page.

Floyd had been charged in a separate case in May with second-degree assault and arrested for allegedly attacking an FBI agent who had served him a grand jury subpoena in the Department of Justice’s investigation into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

According to a complaint in federal District Court in Maryland, Floyd refused to accept the subpoena, putting his finger to the face of one of two FBI agents who arrived at his residence, yelling: “You haven’t given me anything; I don’t know who the f**k you are.”

Later that night, Floyed called 911, accusing the agents of accosting him and saying: “They were lucky I didn’t have a gun on me, because I would have shot his fucking ass,” the Huffington Post reported.

Forbes has reached out to Floyd’s court-listed attorney in Maryland, Carlos Salvado—Floyd does not have an attorney listed in the Georgia case.

On Friday, Fulton County Judge Emily Richardson denied bond for Floyd after he determined he posed a flight risk and a risk to commit further criminal felonies if released on bail (Georgia state law requires defendants to be determined to pose no “significant risk of fleeing” and pose no “threat or danger to any person” or of committing a felony to be released on bail).

What To Watch For

Richardson said in her determination on Friday that the terms of Floyd’s bond “will be addressed,” but that the full terms fall on Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing the case. Floyd, however, has contested his bond denial, telling Richardson on Friday: “There is no way I’m a flight risk. I showed up here before the president was here.”

Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Fulton County last week on 13 felony counts, including racketeering, solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery, false statements and conspiracy to impersonate a public officer.. After just over a week, Trump surrendered to authorities in a brief procedure on Thursday, posting a $200,000 bond after giving a mug shot and his fingerprints before promptly leaving Georgia. All 18 of his co-defendants also turned themselves in by Friday, with Pastor Stephen Lee becoming the last to do so before the 12 p.m. deadline, following a group of former Trump aides and attorneys, as well as so-called fake electors in Trump’s legal team’s dubious plot to overturn the results of his election loss to President Joe Biden.

I 100% disagree with the other anon. It's not respectful. Glen said that he's been negatively affected by this whole thing and struggled a lot. The respectful thing would be to IGNORE IT.

(Obsessive fans are the worst. Period.)

I think that anon meant more like they believe the best in Glen, they are a fan of Glen, they support Glen. Or which ever celebrity you care for.

That's how I try to be. I love when there are photos of Glen posted or when he's at Longhorn game on the Pat McAfee show. I am so excited for his new movies, I want him to have a huge successful career, and maybe (definitely) I worry about his mental health and negative comments a bit TOO much.

So I might be one of those worst fans you're talking about.

I was watching the Royal Rumble on ABEMA! My thoughts on the women's and men's respective Rumble matches…

I think Katana and Kayden put up a good fight despite their small size. I will continue to support these ladies!

Poor Chelsea….to be crushed by Piper and Nia…

I look forward to seeing Jade and Bianca face off in the future!

Bailey did a great job. But I'm anxious to see what Damage CTRL will do in the future…

Gunter continues to be the best wrestler. He needs to fight the whole roster.

Scrotes near me are celebrating that andy tater tot got released from his house arrest and they’re celebrating by threatening women…so tired of them and the girls who also defend him thinking they’ll get picked. My brother believed that the girls who accused should have all been doxed so the followers of Andy can go beat them up and they should have been arrested for making those accusations. When I asked him if those girls told the truth why should they be arrested, he said that women can never be victims of anything. Thankfully my dad is old school and knocked sense into my brother so now he’s locked in his room crying and wanting to apologize but my dad took away his phone and his laptop. And told him to read until his punishment was over. My brother is young and it’s scary how easily they’re influenced by scrotes like andr*w. I honestly think my dad isn’t going to give my brother access to the internet any more and I think that might be the best idea. He was so normal and sweet before

You know what anon? I'm lowkey happy Tate got released from prison and is still alive because his supporters were so ready to canonize him into some sort of martyr - kinda lile McAfee, but worse (bc McAfee didn't have that cult following)

Seeing these rightoid scrotes crying screaming and throwing up at their alpha guru being owned AND ratio'ed by an autistic girl half his age had to be the funniest moment of 2023. And TBH I think that even if Tate ends up being cleared of the charges, his career will never fully recover. This humiliation was just too much. He'll be forever reminded as the dude who's been owned by Greta Thunberg - twice. Good luck trying to rebound back to that masculine alpha male brand after that....🥴

Your brother should be sent to a rehabilitation center (you know these bootcamp where you get beat up if you stutter/fail answering to the lieutenant fast enough). Confiscating his laptop, phone and apologizing isn't enough - he needs to fully repent. Volunteer to female shelter, read radfem/feminist theory and especially anti prostitution literature... He needs to realize how disgusting dehumanizing women is. Learn that women shouldn't 'earn' respect.

If he's young there's still chances to wire his brain back to normal.
