This is the same group of hypocritical bullies who just lead the charge to censure Rashida Tlaib for the “crime” of calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. But somehow I’m guessing that attempting to fight a civilian congressional witness won’t get this asshole anywhere close to being censured. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Republicans seem to like censuring Black and Brown women, right?

These Republicans went low and the White House twitter account pulled out the receipts. And I am here for it.

The former MMA fighter seems to have forgotten biting isn’t allowed.

Why are we even entertaining this? This is lunacy and these f-cking clowns have no place in government or public discourse. A few years back this would have been shocking and he would have been driven from office, in fact he likely would not have been elected.

None of this is normal.

If anything can possibly be both blood-curdling and laughable at the same time, it's the current GOP.

We all know about Trump's demented Hitlerian rantings and the failure of most Republicans to condemn them. But perhaps some of us missed news of the GOP on Capitol Hill getting personally hot-headed.

And that bizarreness doesn't include the latest hysterics from Marjorie Taylor Greene or indictments related to George Santos.

The next thing may be Chip Roy placing a Whoopee Cushion on the Speaker's chair to protest the temporary government funding extension.

GOP = Group Of Psychotics. It's certainly not a bunch of people you want running the country and messing up your life.

"I'm not against unions, I'm not at all. Some of my very good friends work for unions." Former CEO and current Republican Senator from Oklahoma Markwayne Mullen claimed before railing against unions. Considering that later in this exchange he lied about his salary as CEO of Mullen Plumbing and about having started his business from "less than nothing" when he, in fact, inherited the business from his father, I somehow doubt the accuracy of his claim to not be against unions or having friends who work for unions, along with pretty much every other claim he makes here.

This exchange against Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien from the Senate Health, Labor, Education and Pensions Committee hearing on “Defending the Right of Workers to Organize Unions Free from Illegal Corporate Union-Busting” (March 8th, 2023), with committee chair Bernie Sanders having to interrupt to mediate, is frankly amazing to watch.

After the hearing, Sean O'Brien, whom Mullen tried to attack for having a salary of 193k, tweeted this:

Mullin’s statement in an interview with Newsmax pours cold water on a House GOP investigation into Biden’s family’s business dealings, particularly Hunter Biden’s work with foreign companies, while Biden was vice president during the Obama administration and immediately after.  

He warned that any high crime or misdemeanor that may serve as the basis for articles of impeachment “has to be committed while he was in office, the current office he holds.”
