Over the Garden Wall x Malevolent

I have been BRAINROTTING over this for the past week. FROG JOHN. IMAGINE FROG JOHN. IMAGINE THE DYNAMIC.

Basically it takes place after Arthur slits his throat in the Dreamlands. It's some sort of hallucination or bridge between life and death like OTGW. Since Faroe already died before, she was already in The Unknown (no idea what to call it yet) before Arthur got there (she's already dead sooo she won't join Arthur if he leaves The Unknown).

Uh so far the cast would be Arthur, Faroe, Frog John, Beast King in Yellow (soon-to-be Frog King in Yellow), Lantern holder Kayne, Woodsman Kellin, and idk what else. Still dk who Beatrice would be (could be Oscar but he hasn't met Oscar yet but also ig he exists in Malevolent so maybe still)

mlvnt headcanons to cry about

john loves fizzy drinks and hates all alcohol except red sparkling wine (go figure)

john tried to learn violin, viola AND the cello. the conclusion was that he is not to be trusted with bows. or strings.

parker used to play the violin, and arthur still has it

john plays guitar and makes really bad songs because as it turns out eldritch gods lack rhythm, not that arthur would tell him ofc

arthur used to be soooo cold. like personalities wise. his resting face is still a glare. completely unintentional though he’s just thinking real hard about whether or not the boston streets would be sweet if he licked them.

arthur was also very cold body heat-wise

parker was the golden retriever and arthur was the black cat, despite their color schemes being the opposite

john’s favourite myth is orpheus and eurydice

arthur’s is arethusa and alpheus

yellow, if given a body and time to warm up to john, would be john's little brother
