Thanks to gender ideology a dude who didn't sign up while there was still spaces left in the men's category was able to sign up to compete in the women's category. And he won leaving with prize earmarked for a woman while if he did run in the men's category he would have come in 55th.

A man claiming to be “gender fluid” has won the women’s category of a mountain race in Spain, signing up after there were no more spaces left in the men’s category. Quim Durán Pradas, who lives his day-to-day life as a man, says running makes him feel “feminine.”

La Cursa de NaDalt is a chrono-climbing race held annually in December in Catalonia, and its most recent iteration, held on December 26 of 2023, was its 13th anniversary. The race, which starts in Sant Pere de Torelló and ends at the Sanctuary of Bellmunt, is a short but challenging event, and consists of a spectacular route of trails and climbs of 3,862 meters with a positive elevation gain of 620 meters.

In true Spanish fashion — once at the finish line, every racer gets a glass of sparkling wine, something to eat, and to finish it off, hot chocolate.

But the results of the most recent race sparked outrage in Spain after it was discovered that a 48-year-old male had won the top prize in the women’s category.

Speaking to La Vanguardia, sources from the event’s organizing committee explained that the initial outburst had begun at the awards ceremony, where several people broke out into an argument.

Among them was Quim Durán Pradas, a 48-year-old male runner who was seen at the awards ceremony wearing makeup, earrings, and a ponytail.

“[He] was saying that [he] had won in the women’s category and that [he] had every right to be recognized. As an organization, we were caught off guard. There had never been a case like this in previous editions,” explained sources from within the Centre Excursionista Serragrenyada, organizer of the event.

Durán Pradas reportedly threatened to sue the event if he was not provided the prize he claimed he had earned — a pricey leg of cured Iberian ham from Beher Red Label. The prize’s value could range anywhere from €100 to €500 (approx. $107 to $540 USD) depending on the weight of the leg.

Due to his threats and aggression, the event organizers attempted to accommodate him, noting that it was “a bit of a tense situation.” Durán Pradas ended up receiving a provisional victory in the women’s general category. When he stood to receive his ham, there was booing in the audience.

The fastest female, Laia Montoya, had previously taken the top spot in the race in 2022 and 2023. Though she had been booted out of earning the top prize by Durán Pradas, the organizers sent her a box of Iberian ham anyway out of apparent acknowledgement of the unfairness of the situation.

Durán Pradas would have come in 55th place had he participated in the men’s category.

On Instagram, the race’s organizing committee issued a statement explaining “the ethical, moral and philosophical dilemma” they faced.

“We want to show our support and the utmost tolerance, solidarity, and empathy towards gender-vulnerable people,” they wrote. “However, at the same time we also want to underline that the NaDalt race has always tried to promote women’s sport, because historically it has been discriminated and less visible.”

Yesterday, Durán Pradas appeared on Más Espejo, a popular Spanish morning show, where he explained that he is a “gender fluid” athlete who feels “feminine” when he is running in natural environments, but “masculine” at all other times. He is not on any hormone therapy, and does not intend to seek out any surgeries.

“I am gender fluid, and when I run in the mountains, I feel like a woman, I feel like the other female runners,” he said. “I have been to an inclusive psychologist who told me that this is not a disorder. I am simply a person who, depending on the situations, is gender fluid. In my day-to-day life, at home when I’m with my children, I feel like a man. In my leisure time, in contact with nature, I feel like a woman.”

On the program, Durán Pradas stated that he wanted to educate audiences about gender fluidity, also noting that he had previously felt too scared to participate in a women’s category but decided to finally take the risk after being informed there were no slots left in the men’s category. He described the situation as La Cursa de NaDalt “putting [the opportunity] on a platter” for him.

He refused to accept questions from the presenter and the rest of the morning show’s panel, deeming them too “argumentative” to respond to. He then complained he was being subjected to a “hate crime” after one of the panelists accused him of “cheating” for running without having altered his testosterone levels.

“I thought this was going to go well for me, and you just won’t let me justify my position,” Durán Pradas said. “People who do not understand [gender fluidity] and ridicule it as you are ridiculing it… it can become a hate crime.”

your name is….. the lost art of physical reinforcement: qi

“Salutations to those lost and to be found, ichor manifestation throughout Tlalli has appeared sparingly in the meta-reviews. Depending on the geographical location, the concentration, flow, and nature of ichor would create different raiz (the human-interpreted language of magic) and other glyphs (unique signs for material form or indicative actions). This is also applicable to how magic systems are to use ichor.

In the continent of Houto, specifically in the country of Fuso, ichor is used through the lost arts of ‘qi.’ This technique was exclusive to the royal family of Fuso and the samurai class that lived here. Fuso’s pride and endurance have led to them never formalizing an army against the incoming forces of Topaxi. The primary reason was due to the unique training and capability that they were taught. However, the city-state of Topaxi had continuous efforts to meddle with the ichor within the region by creating and planting ichor-heavy machinery that depleted the land.

Topaxi’s conquests saw that the country’s dissolution was to decapitate the head from the body - ridding the ruling party/family from the state. The most common ways were burning fire arts, scholarly works, and other written materials, alongside the mass executions of the royal family, staff, and relatives and the taking of their lands. Depending on the conquering of the land, the outcomes were either tributary states (land reaped for materials for Topaxi city-state) or suzerainty states (foreign power dictates policies in the country but supplies internal autonomy).

Fuso falls into the latter category, but it came at the cost of the samurai class unestablished. However, before the complete dismantling of the class, the Fuso royal family gathered their teachings of ‘qi’ and created an informal class known as ‘shinobi’ to continue their teachings.

‘Qi’ is the formalization of channels created in the user’s body without necessarily having continuous flow. Unlike the innate and artificial, qi-users can create channels that are one-way flowing and can be willed off at any point. These users are among the rarest and are exclusive to Fuso. The most critical aspect of qi is that there must be concentration to unlock the channels to allow to ichor through them. As it is one-way and not constantly flowing, there is also very little to no miasma that these users suffer.

'Qi' channels are exclusively found in five places: palms in hand, the base of feet, and the center of the throat. Special training to unlock this method includes mental meditation and physical exercise that capitalizes on focus. The most critical aspects are gaining focus and providing enough force to unleash it.

As mentioned before, the ichor flow through Fuso makes qi possible. The concentration of ichor in the country would be low and has to be cultivated explicitly by the users. As for its nature, it is forward and smooth movement without overpowering. However, the flow is choppy. It cannot be consistent and must be gathered to be in 'bursts.'

The shinobi class is the last remaining user of 'qi' alongside the dissolved samurai class. Their techniques saw their bodies as weapons and prioritized ichor as enhancements for their existing fighting style. Samurais are more formal in using qi when drawing their weapons and creating an extension of their body with their weaponry.

Because their system of beliefs is not emphasized, but their physical prowl is, the 'ideal' basis of a bastion is incompatible with qi users. Qi is not using magic as casting from the body but as a reinforcement for the body.

In the case of glamor, qi users use this ability relatively more straightforwardly than most. Changing their entire forms will not be an easy feat, but they can make physical adjustments to their bodies. Facial contortions would be the most common while changing hair color is tricky. Most important is that it must be already there/the preset must be there, and the details can then be edited.

However, because of this emphasis on the body, using qi in other locations around Tllali can place the body under great duress. It would require them to retrain their bodies in areas with thicker, heavier, and constant ichor concentration, flow, and nature.

In the case of Topaxi, the five channels constantly face pressure from the thick ichor around. Depending on what districts a qi-user is in, they will suffer through pseudo-miasma, but it is often temporary and not long-lasting. This will include lightheadedness and growing irritation. This worsens when forced into combat and relying on the qi technique. Some areas in Topaxi have less demanding ichor flow, which qi-users can use for training and fighting priority/advantage as they transition to Topaxi's ichor.

siguiendo haciendo sufrir (aunque no tanto) a mis ocs(¿ me pregunto cómo se sentirá seba con sus rasgos físicos conforme haya ido creciendo

#los papás nunca le ocultaron que era adoptado la verdad; porque sabían que en algún momento iba a crecer #y le iba a causar curiosidad de que en realidad no se parece en lo más mínimo a ellos xd así que se lo adelantaron #para evitar futuras preguntas incómodas. que nació en prisión sí tardaron más en decirle; no querían que tuviera complejo #+ que se lo dijera a algún compañerito así como fun fact por no dimensionar o se le escape y le hicieran bullying por eso skdjfnjd #pero obviamente llegó el día en el que quiso conocer a sus papás biológicos. lo sentaron y le tuvieron que explicar que 'eran malos'#y que 'estaban pagando por eso en prisión'. también le dijeron por qué fox estaba ahí. luego preguntó por el otro obviamente así de ':0'#y ahí se arrepintieron de hablar en plural porque en el certificado de nacimiento no decía quién era xd así que no pudieron decirle #y aunque su curiosidad se sació un poco en ese sentido; igual le quedaron varias dudas. y el mirarse al espejo le daba curiosidad saber más #al conocer a fox al menos relacionaba su pelo con él. pero claramente no le cerraba el color de sus ojos con los suyos dskjfndjs #y fox por razones obvias no podía darle respuestas(¿ no más trataba de darle indirectas muy sutiles que seba no captaba #y tbh nunca reparó en la 'casualidad' de que siempre que iba golden siempre estaba ahí. ni tampoco se fijaba tanto en él #como para notar que también tenía rasgos suyos. así que quién era el otro padre siguió siendo un completo misterio #... hasta que se lo dijeron. y aunque nunca llegó al punto de odiar completamente sus ojos #que su pelo sea ligeramente más claro que el de fox; o hasta su propia altura que era mucho más parecida a la de golden que la de fox #sí le daba algo de cosa ver la mezcla general y pensar lo que la provocó. así que por un corto período de tiempo prefería no verse alespejo #o salir en fotos. y como tampoco se animaba a decirle a nadie no tuvo más opción que superarlo solito #la verdad le daría muchísimo menos conflicto todo si supiera que todo fue consensuado y no es la versión que se imagina #pero obviamente no puede hablar sobre eso con fox; y si llegara a animarse a hablar con golden siento que no le creería tanto #obviamente le va a decir que no hubo abuso de su parte para quedar bien; así que lo que diga no es tan confiable (según seba)#oc talk

tú rutina para el cuidado de la piel era fundamental, sin importar si se trataba de el rostro o el cuerpo.

cuando enzo estaba en casa, él disfrutaba de ver como hacías todas esas cositas, como él decía. le gustaba tomarte fotos cuando lo hacías o participar de lleno, poniéndose de igual manera un poco de tus productos en el rostro.

pero lo que más disfrutaba, era cuando le pedías ayuda y era él quien al final te masajeaba las piernas, brazos y hombros.

después de una ducha para relajar tus músculos tensos por el trabajo, te sentaste en su cama compartida con tu bata alrededor y los productos en las manos.

enzo no tardó mucho en aparecer por la puerta cuando escuchó que salías de la ducha, sabiendo lo que tu rutina decía que seguía.

comenzaste poniéndote una banda que el mismo enzo te hab��a regalado, para sujetar y evitar cualquier pelo sobre tu rostro. enzo amaba particularmente este paso porque podía ver tú rostro completo, al natural y completamente despejado. solo para él.

"que hermosa te ves, eh" habló desde la puerta con una sonrisa en el rostro. lo miraste desde tu lugar y le sonreíste.

"tú también te ves hermoso" le respondiste, observando como su cabeza se iba hacía atrás al reírse.

"nunca tanto como vos, gordita" se acercó hasta la cama, rodeandola hasta sentarse detrás de ti, lo sentiste pasar sus brazos por tu cintura y entrelazar sus dedos, bloqueando el agarre.

dejo un beso húmedo en tu mejilla, observandote a través del espejo de mano frente a ustedes. le devolviste el beso antes de continuar con la rutina.

abriste tu crema de ojos, sacando un poco de producto con la espátula que venía incluida. con tus ojos y los de enzo observando el espejo, pasaste la espátula por alrededor de tus ojos, expandiendo y masajeando lo suficiente.

enzo observaba como pasabas tus dedos cuidadosamente, como esparcías cada gota de la crema por tus ojitos y le fascinaba la forma tan delicada que tus manos se movían.

no pudiendo contener el sentimiento cálido de amor en su pecho, dejo un beso en tu hombro, logrando que lo mirarás por el espejo.

"¿quieres un poquito, amor?" le preguntaste y él asintió emocionado. te giraste entre sus brazos aún agarrados y dejaste un poco de producto debajo de sus ojos.

antes de que tus delicados dedos tocaran su rostro, tomó tu mano para llevarla a sus labios, donde dejo un beso en cada dedo.

sonrió al ver tu mirada llena de amor, quería asegurarse de capturar ese momento tan íntimo entre ustedes dos con lujo de detalle. desde como estabas vestida hasta el brillo innegable de tus ojos.

"algún día de estos me vas a matar" le dijiste, acercándote para dejar un rápido beso en la punta de su nariz.

"espero que no" susurró sobre tus labios, con los ojos aún cerrados. soltó tu mano suavemente para que comenzarás a masajear su rostro con la misma delicadeza que lo hiciste contigo misma.

abrió los ojos lentamente, apreciando tu cara concentrada; desde que te había conocido, enzo había sentido que tú eras su one and only, el amor de su vida y de las próximas si es que tenía.

sus ojos se llenaban de estrellas igual que el cielo por la noche cuando te miraba. llenos de admiración y sobretodo, amor.

un pequeño puchero se plantó en sus labios cuando dejo de sentir la calidez de tus manos en su rostro. te reíste y besaste su puchero.

"fue muy rápido, gordita" dijo triste, con unos ojos de perrito, sonreíste por su ternura.

"lo siento, amor" dejaste otro beso en sus labios "si te hace sentir mejor, ahora tengo que ponerme crema en las piernas"

su puchero desapareció rápidamente, logrando que rieras con fuerza. esa era realmente su parte favorita.

"rápido rápido" te apuró, soltando su agarré en tu cintura para que pudieras sentarte frente a él.

mientras tú te acomodabas en la cama, él tomó entre sus manos tu crema corporal; cada vez que esa crema se te acababa, él siempre te la compraba, específicamente la misma, porque amaba ese aroma, porque la habías usado desde que se conocían y para enzo, ese era tú olor característico.

el que se quedaba en su ropa cuando te abrazaba o en las sábanas cuando se dormían. un recordatorio de tu presencia en sus fosas nasales.

"¿ya?" preguntó desesperado, asentiste sonriendo, levantando tus piernas hasta dejarlas estiradas sobre la cama.

ante él, cada parte de ti era simplemente perfecta. tus piernas eran una de las miles de cosas que amaba de ti. tenían un color y un brillo gracias a los cuidados que tú o él mismo le daban.

dejo caer crema desde tus muslos hasta tus tobillos, apresurandose para pasar sus manos por tus piernas.

siempre pensaste que enzo tenía las manos perfectas para ser masajista, pero cuando se lo dijiste su respuesta fue que "las únicas piernas que pienso tocar, son las tuyas" logrando que tú corazón se derritiera otra vez.

pasaba las palmas de sus grandes manos por tus muslos, haciendo pequeños círculos con sus pulgares o dándole leves apretones.

sus manos subieron hasta el costado de tu muslo, haciéndote reír.

"¿qué estás buscando, eh?" te reíste y gracias a la cercanía en la que estaban, enzo miro tus labios antes de besarte.

"yo voy a hacer mi trabajo bien, y esto" dijo apretando suavemente la carne "es parte de tu pierna" sonreíste, dejándolo seguir adelante.

siguió masajeando, disfrutándolo mucho a tu parecer pero se lo permitiste. se veía concentrado y casi anonadado por tu suave piel contra su mano.

sus dedos por fin abandonaron ese espacio en tus muslos, permitiéndote sentir la perdida de su calor en tu piel. viajaron hasta tu rodilla, donde se inclinó para dejar un par de besos, susurrando palabras de apreciación por cada beso.

pasaste una mano por su cabello café, despeinandolo un poco en el proceso.

"sos mi pieza de arte más preciada, gordita" te susurró contra la piel de tu rodilla. juraste que tus ojos picaban ante la amenaza de unas lágrimas.

se estiro nuevamente, llegando hasta la última gota de crema. seguía haciendo círculos con sus pulgares, pero ahora eran más lentos, queriendo disfrutar el momento con todo su ser.

frotó y presionó cada musculo, tendón y los ligamentos de tu pierna, hasta llegar al final.

lo viste suspirar cuando se dio cuenta que había terminado, adoraba tanto cuando podía tocar tu piel de manera tan íntima, pero tan delicada, que la idea de que solo él podía hacerlo le llenaba el pecho de orgullo.

su rostro se elevó, al igual que los costados de sus labios.

"ahora la otra" susurró, deslizando sus dedos por tu otra pierna.
