It's a little funny, to know a person for years, and learn who they are. You learn their behaviors, their oddities, their strengths and their flaws. And then, one magical day, someone else waltzes into their lives. They begin to learn those same things: the behaviors and oddities, strengths and flaws. Suddenly, the behaviors are endearing, the oddities exciting, the strengths astounding, and the flaws forgiving. They fall in love with every aspect. We call this true love, And it is. Today, my best friend got married. The woman standing beside him has loved him, even when the task seemed impossible. Just as he has done for her. I have never seen such a display of affection and true, pure love. In every gesture, and in every sideways glance, and in every smile, love was outpouring. This, above all else, has given me hope that I myself can be loved that way. Perhaps, someone can look at me with such love and acceptance. The most terrifying part, perhaps, is that I believe I may have found it. So, I place hope and happiness in their union, and hold onto the belief that the rest of us can be as fortunate as to find this also. I wish you nothing but joy and satisfaction and luck in all of your future endeavors. Luke and Megan, to your union and the hope that you provide. May you always be satisfied. @lukeaustin
