With the success of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), following the critical failure of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), New line Cinema firmly cemented Freddy Krueger and A Nightmare on Elm Street as one of the most iconic horror franchises of its time. Not only does Dream Warriors feature Robert Englund continuing to breathe both humor and fear into Freddy Krueger but also the return of both Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon from the original. The film also features Craig Wasson (Ghost Story) as the male lead and early film roles for Patricia Arquette and Larry Fishburne. Frank Darabont (The Mist) and Bruce Wagner join Wes Craven on scripting chores and Chuck Russell (The Blob, The Mask) directs while Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet) provides the score – a winning combination of talent. Larry B. Magee Sr., 71, of Clearville, Pa., was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022.
He was born on July 23, 1950, in Ellwood City, Pa., a son of the late Thomas D. Magee and Lucille E. (McElwain) Magee.
On Oct. 6, 1979, he married Ester King.
He is survived by his son, Larry Magee Jr., and wife, Shawntell (Peters) Magee; a brother, Jim Magee, and wife, Lois; a sister-in law, Barb Magee; a niece, Beverly Magee; a nephew, Jonathan Magee; and a grandchild, Luke Magee.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in passing by his first wife, Cindy (Moyer) Magee; a brother, Kenneth Magee; and a sister, Sarah Magee.
Larry graduated from Lincoln High School — Ellwood City Area District in 1968. After high school, he attended Bob Jones University where he studied the Bible and English.
He was a pastor at Berkeley Springs Bible Church for 14 years. Larry was also on the board for Christ Victory Church in Manns Choice, Habitat for Humanity, and Love INC.
Larry’s passions in life were God, woodworking, and helping others. He enjoyed singing, socializing with others, and volunteering at Love, Inc. and Habitat for Humanity.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, at 3 p.m. at Christ Victory Church in Manns Choice with Pastor Patrick Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Christ Victory Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Habitat for Humanity, Love INC, or the family.

Here are the US representatives who voted against the US pro-LGBT+ Equality Act
The US Equality Act is to outlaw discrimination against LGBTQ people in housing, credit, jury service, public accommodations, and federal funding.
The House of Representatives passed the legislation yesterday, but it is unlikely that the Senate will follow up, given the Republican Party's increasing hostility to queer people. They are currently weaponizing transphobia in an attempt at mobilizing their base.
In the Senate the bill will require at least 10 Republicans to vote with all Democrats to advance past the so-called filibuster.
Metro Weekly has listed the representatives that voted against the law in the House.

I found out who voiced the Bumble in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
I emailed Rick Goldschmidt, a Rankin-Bass historian who runs a blog called The Enchanted World of Rankin-Bass, about who provided the Bumble’s roars, and he in turn decided to talk to a good friend of his, Bill Giles, the sound designer on the original special. Here was the response.

That’s right. The Bumble had the same voice actor as YUKON CORNELIUS.

The DePatie-Freleng Collection - CRAZYLEGS CRANE - Kino Lorber Blu Ray 2016 Crazylegs Crane is a 16-episode made-for-television cartoon series produced by DePatie–Freleng Enterprises in 1978 for The All New Pink Panther Show on ABC. This was Crazylegs Crane's first series dedicated solely to him. Previously, he had made regular appearances in the three DePatie-Freleng animated comedies, Tijuana Toads, The Blue Racer and The Dogfather. Larry D. Mann voiced him in all but two of his appearances, with Bob Holt voicing him in the Tijuana Toads short "Flight to the Finish", and Daws Butler voicing him in the Dogfather short "The Goose That Laid a Golden Egg". Cartoons employees, director/composer/producer Friz Freleng and executive David H. DePatie, after Warner Bros. closed its animation studio in 1963. A generous gesture from a Warner executive allowed Freleng and DePatie to lease the former Warner cartoons studio for a few dollars each year. Although DFE's initial business was commercials and industrial films, several lucky breaks put the new studio into the theatrical cartoon business. DePatie and Freleng found themselves overflowing with work. Many of the animators who had worked at Warner Bros. in the 1950s and 1960s returned to the old Warner cartoon studio to work for DFE. The All New Pink Panther Show (1978–1979) was a new version of the series.
