Pablo: This was last year, on my birthday, the last day of shooting for Season 2 of Halo. I convinced a very large portion of the crew that they should jump into the glacial lake we were shooting in front of, Lago Del Predil, to commemorate the end of our season. The water was around 5 degrees Celsius and it was not warm outside. It was a crazy thing to do and the fact that so many people decided to join me was emblematic of this whole experience. So much talent, will power and determination on display for the past few years. Ready for anything, except giving up. I'm so proud of everyone who contributed to this crazy journey and so grateful for your contribution. As they say, That's a wrap!!!🙏❤🙏

Minuscolo borgo friulano nel cuore delle Alpi Carniche, Monte Santo di Lussari si è guadagnato la sua fama grazie alla sua mirabile posizione e alla bellezza dei paesaggi circostanti.
Monte Santo di Lussari è un minuscolo gruppo di abitazioni facenti parte del complesso religioso del santuario omonimo. Molta della sua fama è dovuta al grandioso panorama che si apre a 360°. Il borghetto è adagiato su una larga cresta a 1790 m.s.l.m.. a circa 11 km da Tarvisio.
Nel piccolo borgo troviamo appunto il santuario risalente al 1360, ma dell’originaria chiesetta oggi non ne rimane traccia. Venne ricostruita la prima volta nel 1500 e poi nel 1600. Oggi possiamo ammirare il santuario, posto al centro nel paesino, dopo l’ultima ristrutturazione avvenuta nel 2000 in occasione del Giubileo. Dal borgo si possono godere panorami davvero eccezionali e di grande bellezza, specie verso il gruppo del Mangart e dello Jof di Montasio.
Altrettanto notevole è l’interesse ambientale, grazie anche all’ottimo stato di conservazione della natura di questa parte delle Alpi Giulie e delle Alpi Carniche che custodiscono, tra l’altro, dei veri e propri gioielli come il Lago del Predil e i Laghi di Fusine.
Il borgo, dunque, è una valida meta turistica per trascorre una giornata rilassante e ricca di sorprese tra natura, preghiera, storia e svago.

A small Friulian village in the heart of the Carnic Alps, Monte Santo di Lussari has earned its fame thanks to its admirable position and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
Monte Santo di Lussari is a tiny group of houses that are part of the religious complex of the sanctuary of the same name. Much of its fame is due to the grandiose panorama that opens up to 360°. The hamlet lies on a wide ridge at 1790 m a.s.l., about 11 km from Tarvisio.
In the small village we find the sanctuary dating back to 1360, but today there is no trace of the original church. It was rebuilt for the first time in 1500 and then in 1600. Today we can admire the sanctuary, located in the center of the town, after the last restoration which took place in 2000 on the occasion of the Jubilee. From the town you can enjoy truly exceptional panoramas of great beauty, especially towards the Mangart and Jof di Montasio group.
Equally remarkable is the environmental interest, thanks also to the excellent state of conservation of the nature of this part of the Julian Alps and the Carnic Alps which preserve, among other things, real jewels such as the Predil Lake and the Fusine Lakes.
The village, therefore, is a valid tourist destination to spend a relaxing day full of surprises among nature, prayer, history and entertainment.
