Wanted to show off my newly cleaned and organized room because ya girl has ADHD and clinical depression so this shit is a big deal for me lol. I'm guessing this is mostly due to the fact that I accidentally took two doses of my adderall the other day, and turns out 40 mgs is probably what I should have been on all along because wow I’m actually getting shit done now??
Anyway tho, I've found that one of my biggest issues when it comes to keeping things organized is "out of sight, out of mind"--ie, if something isn't visible to me, I often forget it exists. (Yes, I have a Masters Degree but have yet to fully comprehend the concept of object permanence, apparently.) So I've finally decided to do something about this! I'm in the process of labeling all of my drawers, cabinets, and storage containers so I can keep track of my shit. So far the labelled dresser drawers have worked wonders in stopping me from just throwing my clothes on the ground or stuffing them wherever. We'll see if this is sustainable in the long run

in an alternate universe where they didn't split, what subunits do you think sm would've given tvxq? i wonder if homin / jyj units would've still happened or if they'd do something like suju kry with the main vocals. or maybe they just go "damn here" and give yunjae a duet
sm doesn't seem to like giving actual 'subunits' to their <five member groups, so i don't think jyj would have happened, but we'd probably still have gotten solo careers (eventually) from the four that have them, and probably i think a couple of duets, but they wouldn't have extensive promo periods/albums attached to them. probably yunjae and maybe changmin jaejoong? they might have also done a yunho junsu dance type one as well. but to be honest i do actually think the split was for the best, bc had they all had continued under sm we would not have gotten all that excellent angry music out of 2011-2014, AND we probably would not have gotten any of junsu's iconic songs either.

biting and attacking past me for being lazy with this .oto and only .otoing half of each sample so they could move on to the immediate gratification of hearing the vb in action
#for context this is a cvvc library recorded using a 7 mora string + 2 mora breakdowns#which yes is redundant BUT#well there isn't much but it was mostly me just being viscerally against pure 2 mora strings skdjfhgk#the 7 mora makes me feel like i'm going faster and ensures i have a backup if any of the 2 mora sound like ass#AND then i get both continuous samples and starting samples which i find really adds to the voice#ANYWAY#past me .oto'd only the 7 mora string part on most of these#and not even the VCs#so now i'm agonizingly having to go through and .oto out the remaining CVs and VCs#i keep thinking about the people who have offered to help#but i look at the redundancy hell in which i find myself (i.e. .oto contains ど1 ど2 ど3 ど4 and - ど)#and feel i cannot subject anyone else to it sdkhflgk#when it comes time to .oto primavera leftovers though i will gladly take up on the offer#← original half-made .oto was done in 2015 and i can't bear to make it again#but all the samples are standard 7 mora CVVC and clearly labeled with no repeats so PHEW#utau hell continues . . . .

one thing about growing up in a wannabe-theocracy small town is that everything was 15ish years behind the times. no transit no sex ed no GSAs in school. which helped me with the perspective that 'feminist' was (and is!) a dirty word when beyonce started her huge campaign under that banner. like i would have outright denied being a feminist in 2009/2010 when i was in high school because it would have gotten me sexually assaulted and i think that might not be relatable to those who a) grew up in diverse/liberal areas or b) were accessing progressive politics with ease online
#like. they/them pronouns were a scary and challenging revelation to me in 2015. i wasn't sure what i thought of 'pronouns'#then i get to the city and it turns out that was cutting edge 15 years ago#so artists denying feminism in the 90s is really not a surprise!#and i mean. people still can't call themselves bisexual in favour of rambling about 'not using labels' in the 2020s#so there's a comparison to be drawn there#mine

Cartoon: Transformers Prime / Robots in Disguise 2015
Characters: Smokescreen, Knock Out, and Bumblebee, with appearances from numerous other characters (even ones not featured in the cartoons)
Synopsis: An Autobot Elite Guard rookie, a Decepticon medic turned Autobot, and an Autobot scout turned warrior turned street cop - three very different bots with a wide range of stories to tell. And we are going to spend the next year exploring said stories through daily-written drabbles, be they angsty, humorous, gut-punching, or just plain odd! Who doesn’t love a challenge? (2016 to 2017)

Bumblebee tapped his comm. "I'm almost to the building, Blue. See anyone from up there?"
::Nnnnnope,:: Bluestreak replied. ::The place looks kinda deserted- Oh! I see you!::
"What?" Bumblebee spun around and began searching the surrounding slopes for the Autobot sniper. "Slag! But if you can see me-!"
::Relax, there's no one up here but me, and there's no one down there but you. Your position is not compromised, don't worry.:: Bluestreak paused, then chuckled. ::Aw, you look even smaller than usual from up here.::
Bumblebee groaned. "Oh, c'mon Blue, please don't start that again."
::Sorry, 'Bee. Small frames invite teasing.::
Ain't That a B**ch?
"Hey, team. I can't hear you, but I'm pretty sure you can hear me, so let's cut to the chase... There is no extraction plan. And I'm sorry, but... I just don't think Shockwave is about to let me get out of here easily.
"I sent out the transmission. I still don't know if it'll help us, which... might make this whole thing seem a bit pointless. It's okay, though. It's not the first time I've sacrificed myself because someone said 'hopefully it'll help'. It's not ideal, but when the odds are stacked against us, that's all we can really do..."
Not Dead Yet
Bumblebee was dazed and injured when he finally reached the scrapyard gateway. He barely registered the arrival of his frantic teammates, not until Strongarm and Drift picked him up off the ground.
Strongarm's frantic voice reached his audio receptors. "Bumblebee, what happened?"
"...as much as I would love to tear you into so many little pieces, we both know that your life is not the worst thing you have to lose. But your team..."
"I have to... warn..." Bumblebee rasped, snapped out of the memory. "He's back... He's coming back...!"
With that, Bumblebee's system failed him and he fell into stasis.
