You want to know about... my oc lore? Oh boy, never had anyone ask about them before ngl I'm a little nervous now (also, I'm doing great thanks for asking 💕)

Okay, alright! Let's start with some little facts about the two main characters shall we?

Iola (it's an "i" btw), our beautiful female lead, was once your average 19 yo girl who worked at a small bakery on the outskirts of the city to support herself back when she was still on earth. She was an orphan, had a few good friends, and absolutely loved reading romance in her free time!

One of her favorite romance novels/ webcomic actually was one about a poor noble lady who her mother insisted that she goes to the royal hall to have some fun since she never went before and and also because it was the crown prince's birthday! a big event really. And after the prince saw her at the ball, he fell in love with her and now is doing everything to be with her. A cliche story I know but Iola kept reading it because, well, the art style nice! and um... She may or may not had little crush on one of the supporting characters (that would be our guy Leonhard!).

She's not sure how it started... I mean he was handsome yes, but so was everybody else really. He also didn't have that big of a role in the story aside from protection the young lady like he prince has ordered him, but she thought it was cute how attentive and caring he was when taking care of her.

Fast-forward after a few more chapters, Iola was devastated to find out that her favorite character got killed trying protect the prince and his soon-to-be bride. So much so that she didn't notice when she accidentally turned on the kitchen stove which led to her dying in her sleep due the the leaking gas.

... Or did she? Because next thing she knows she's waking up in a completely different place surrounded by all these strange people who were sobbing and cheering about how happy they were to have her back after she's been in a coma so long.

Confused (rightfully so), she tries to ask them who are they and what's going on. But her current body is so week that she can't move a muscle or speak. Fortunately, and after some time, she slowly regained her health as well the memories of the body that she now possess.

At first, she didn't realize that she got transferred into the novel that she was reading. So she spent most of her time trying to get used her new home and the fact that she has someone to call family now (it felt so weird to her to call a strange man 'father' the first couple of times, but she got used to it... eventually).

She actually realized she was inside the novel after her father introduced her to the captain of the royal knights one day when they went out to see the horses (apparently, and her new dad was a very important nobleman who owns most of the animal farms and stables in the country).

After realizing that, she made it her main mission to get closer to him but to also try and prevent him from dying like he did in the original novel.

Now for Leonhard! As I previously mentioned he is the captain of the royal knights, he's 23 years old, and even though he's a person of a higher rank, most people avoid interacting with him because they find him to be intimidating and scary looking because of his scars. That's why he doesn't have any real friends or any other kind of relationship with anyone (aside from the queen and the crown prince)

He used to have a family before, but his poor mother died of the plague when he was little and his father sold him to a slave master for like 3 silver coins because he didn't want to take care of him anymore.

After that Leonhard was forced to become an underground ring fighter at a very young age to survive, that went on for almost 7 years until the queen and her knights came to arrest the slave master and everyone that was involved in that incident. Recognizing his strength (and feeling sorry for the pitiful boy), the queen took him in under her care and encouraged him to become a knight to work for her.

Feeling forever in debit for the queen, he accepted her offer and did just that. training day after day none stop until he became an official knight at 15, as well as the youngest royal captain the country has ever seen at 18, and also receiving the title of fearless hero at 22 after winning a war in only 3 years.

So you could imagine his surprise and confusion when the famous ill daughter of a well known noble man suddenly appears in his life demanding to be his friend, because why would she want that? He can't understand her reasoning at all. Not to mention all the bizarre things that she does and say all the time, and yet... He can't help but feel drawn to everything about her...

Hcjskxjslkk okay I should stop now or else I'll never shut up about them hehe

But yeah! This is roughly the lore of these two! I hope that it was a little interesting and that I didn't bore you too much talking about them XD oh also! The original title for my story was going to be "let me love him!" But idk I might change it later on.

Yea no title here because it contains serious stuff. [Stone Figure]

The soft tapping of rain. The gentle whistling of wind filled the air along with soft coos from a sleeping Figure.

A curious eye blinked open from a crevice in the dark cavernous wall.

It scanned the cave for a few seconds as a dark black liquid began to seep outwards and form smaller cracks eroding just tiniest bits of the cave’s wall.

Small pebbles from the newly emerged crack tumbling to the cave floor with a small ‘skksksks’.

The Figure slowly felt its consciousness wax as it let out sleepy “cccht..?” Before giving the air a sniff and letting out a trill of annoyance and lowering its head down unto its nest. “There’s an entrance you know..” it murmured.

Seek’s mass spilled downwards to form a puddle. A few eyes poured out of the wall and the large one one that originally peeked in squeezed its way out of the crevice with a ‘pop’ and joined the rest of its eyes in the large puddle Seek made for itself.

“Mm..no, this way is much more convenient for me..” It said as its body began to take shape into something more recognizable.

“Your wrecking my cave, you fool.” Figure hissed before pressing its head into the softness of its mossy nest once more.

“I have no ill feelings towards your cave! I simply need a connection between my city and your den!” Seek retorted. “Besides, your ‘entrance’ if you can even call it that is a thin crack in the earth concealed by many, many trees. Not an easy find.”

Seek took full humanoid form and sat down nearby, while Figure grumbled an expletive and dug it’s muzzle deeper into its nest. Seek came in slightly closer for a moment.

“I’m trying to sleep.”

Seek reached behind its large eye and pulled out a small green box with golden trim and flowering vines that encircled it.

“I come bearing gifts-“

“I don’t need anything.”

“It’s from Snare.”

Figure perked up slightly and raised its head. ‘Staring’ for a moment. “Give it to me.”

Seek carefully set the green box down on the floor. One of Figure’s oversized arms reached over and felt around for a few seconds before slowly picking up the box cradling it on its chest.

It leaned forward and pressed its muzzle against the box and sniffed before letting out a purr. It gently unwound the vines and opened up the box before reaching in to feel a small pile of seeds.

Seek watched as it trilled and cooed as it got up and encircled the little box. Seek couldn’t help but ‘smile’ a tiny bit. “I take it you like your gift?”

Figure took just a tiny bit and sprinkled some on its tail. “Treasure it.” It softly murmured.

Seek quietly sat down and watched as Figure gleefully paced around the box for a few more moments before lying back down on its stomach.

The plants on its back bristled in the in the soft breezes of cave. Along Figure’s back grew various flytraps, asphodels, poppies, amaranths and even a bouquet of lavender around its head.

“I didn’t know you were a living botanical garden.”

“Let me die in peace.”

“I am obligated by our children not to. But humor me: What’s with the garden?” Seek scooted even closer toward Figure who grumbled raised its head to acknowledge Seek.

“These plants serve a purpose like those silly needles. They keep the bugs away and the ones around my head.. keep me…calm.” Figure gave a hesitant thump of its tail and it pulled the box closer to its chest.

“They all come from different places I’ve wandered…So they need different things..I have to nap on different parts of the cave so they can be cultivated better…Sometimes, I can even get them to bloom all at once and it’s very satisfying..” Seek could see a rare smile grow on Figure’s face. It couldn’t help but look on in mild interest itself.

It stayed silent for a few moments before speaking again. “So they’re from your travels..?”

Figure nodded. “I’ve been places.. hot places..cold places- Smelly places.”

Seek chuckled a little at that last quip and pressed just a tiny bit closer to Figure.

As Figure continued to talk about its plants and of its travels with a now completely engaged Seek, who gradually pressed it for more and more details. One of its eyes drifted towards the cave floor below it, taking in the various cracks, glowing crystals and all the beautiful sight surrounding them.

..This was bliss.

Author’s note: if you want to end it here, you can and are valid for doing so.

Warnings for: Self harm. (Seek discovers scarring from when Figure attempted to rip the rocks off of its thigh.) Seek takes notice, and invites Figure to stay with it for awhile. Figure accepts.

As it continued doing so, the eye snapped to something pinkish on Figure’s lower thigh. As it scrutinized the part much more intensely it realized what it was looking back and pulled away.

Scars..many.. many bite scars surrounded the rocks on its thigh. Some of them were even lodged deep into the rocks themselves.

.. And then bliss turned to sickness.

Another thing it didn’t notice.

Though they weren’t recent, perhaps even a few years old they were still quite..no..painfully deep in Figure’s flesh and was very much..

Concerning.

“You still care, ya know.”

“I know you won’t say it. But please, at least show it.”

“Things can be as they once were if you want it to be. It still loves you too.”

Those words echoed around Seek’s head like a small voice in a vast lonely cave.

Cave..A lonely cave..this place was beautiful, yes. But..it could be quite isolated…

Figure had been as silent as long as Seek was.

Had it done something wrong? Did it say something offensive..?

Did it..see something it didn’t like..?

“Figure..?” Seek finally spoke, a distant look in its eye.

Figure tilted its head slowly, trying sound as relaxed as possible. “Yes..?”

“..Do you want to stay in my city for a few weeks?”

So the thing is—

I haven't drawn them yet because it's so FREGIN HARD TO DO

Spoilers!!

Like i said in a previous ask, the last two are mutants.

The difference is, the first one was human and the second was an animal.

And... As you might notice... I don't know how tf to draw mutants but i can give some background, like of what they would look like and what kind of mutant they are and all that jazz.

This is gonna be a long one.

So first up!

The third and eldest member, River!!

River is once human, they're mutated right around the time of the mutation bomb incident when they were 11 years old. They were outside at the time, with their mother at a flower shop. They were holding some carnivorous plants on display when the toxic mutagen hit them.

It's one heck of a miracle that they survived.

They're very silent, often times only talking one sentence a day, kind of like Ferb from Phineas and Ferb. They are very beautiful despite being a mutant, they're often times described looking like a greek statue, they manage to at least retain some of their more human characteristics. They're very reserved that comes with their quiet nature. Because of this they're often times said to be rude because they never talk or because of their constant resting bitch face. But they're very nice and gentle when you get to know them.

They're also a ninja! Specifically, a ninja of the new foot clan.

So now you have a hamato ninja, a vigilante and a foot ninja!

They are a mutant carnivorous plant!!

I only ever managed to draw their head and not their full body. I struggled a lot with getting their hair right.

I mostly based them on sundews, specificslly those flower looking ones and those long curling ones.

These ones:

Their skin is, of course, green and their hair has a red tint because of the many small sticky hairs they have. They do work like actual sundews and as an added bonus, they can control their hair in battle which works well as traps.

They don't really need to eat, sometimes they put live pigeons in their hair and just wait for it to digest. The reason why they rather eat that way is because they're very insecure about their appearance despite being described as beautiful.

The reason why they're in the foot clan is because Karai adopted them after seeing them running away from an angry mob in the early months after the mutation bomb incident.

Karai is technically a mutant too, so it was easy enough for River to trust her.

Karai and Shinigami are their Mother and Mom. (We live laugh love this ship)

If it isn't obvious enough, their color is red, so that means they're Raph's counterpart.

Their weapon of choice is a kusarigama, just like their mom.

Next up is another mutant, this time he used to be animal, specifically a tortoise (just like Slash!)

Here are some pictures because i do not know how tf to draw tortoises and my fingers forgot how to draw the turtles so... Yep.

Anyways, his name is Ryan and he's 14 years old, the youngest in the team.

He's dorky and awkward and is deathly afraid of humans, with the exception of his Auntie April, Aunt Karai, Auntie Shini, and Uncle Casey. He's bit of a nerd and idolizes Donatello a lot because of his work and contribution to the fight against the Kraang.

How does he know that?

He's Slash's kid.

So how did that happen?

He was just a normal tortoise at an open zoo whent he mutagen hits him, turning him into a very confused tortoise tot (he's 9 at the time of his mutation and when he mutated. He didn't look like a 9 year old, he was ver smol)

He was abandoned in the sewers a year after the mutagen bombings and he was found by Raph, who gave him to Slash because they could not handle any more people in the lair with their conditions.

He's very smart, a very fast learner and already knew how to read and speak (although it was stuttery and he fumbles woth his words) a year into being mutated. He adjusted pretty well, but not as fast as Slash did when he was mutated because he didn't have anyone to observe. He acts pretty much like any normal kid but he's a genius. And of course his idol is Donnie much to Dr. Rockwell's dismay.

He lives with the mutanimals with Slash as his dad and all the other guys as his weird uncles.

He wears clothes though.

He has a pair of glasses taped on his face because of his bad eyesight and wears some baggy sweatpants along with an orange Space Heroes hoodie.

So yep, he's orange, he's Mikey's counterpart.

He doesn't have a weapon unlike his teammates, he prefers to be the get away driver or hacker. He does not know how to fight despite Slash's many offers to let the turtle brothers train him. He's afraid of confrontation and is rather a pacifist.

So now we have a hamato ninja, a vigilante, a foot ninja and a mutanimal!

The gang is coming together!!

Chapter IX - Losing your temper

~5 months later~

You were now completely settled into the motherhood life, and you felt like you were losing your mind.

You denied Minho's request to hire a nanny during the day when he was away, and it went alright at first, but now you regretted it badly and didn't know how to really reapproach the subject without feeling like a failure.

Other mothers are able to take care of their child on their own, so why couldn't you?

You started feeling very overwhelmed, and as usual, your bad coping mechanisms were drowning all your sorrows and pretending the problem is not there, acting completely composed on the outside while breaking on the inside.

Getting Haru to eat became harder, as you had to start introducing him to solids, but you were at least glad he was starting to sleep better during the night, so you managed to get at least 5-6 hours in.

Except for the past 3 nights, because Haru started teething, and was crying non-stop from the pain.

It just so happened that Minho had to be away to film a promotion a few cities over during this horrible period of your life, and you've been alone with the baby getting no rest at all.

You were sick of his crying, and you felt like your head was about to explode, so when Haru started up again, you just felt the need to leave the nursery and just go in the kitchen, away from his sobs, to clear your head.

You cried for a good while, cursing every God in existence, and you felt you were getting bad, all the emotions getting under your skin. You dreaded looking in the mirror and seeing the prominent dark circles under your eyes, you didn't manage to eat anything for the past 2 days, and Minho not coming home meant you've been deprived of all human contact.

It was bad.

You opened your phone and noticed he's been texting, but you quite literally didn't have a moment to yourself to freaking shower.

Whatever, he's going to come back today anyway. You thought, so you instead opened Twitter and started scrolling mindlessly, until something caught your eye.

You rolled your eyes as you stopped reading. The picture was a bit compromising, but you knew the Media had a way to twist everything and make anyone look bad. They surely were just friends, so what were they on about?

Still, curiosity got the better of you and you went down to the comment section, reading what others had to say.

Enough hate for today. You sighed. You knew fans were saying nasty things about you, calling you all sorts of names ranging from whore, slut, gold-digger, witch and so on. How dare you fall in love with Kibum and have a kid with him, then marry Minho?

They didn't care to understand that you only did it for Haru.

You felt yourself tear up again, but instead, you dissociated and simply watched the front door from the kitchen table with a blank stare.

After 3 long days away from home, Minho finally finished his busy schedule and could come back. He missed Haru a lot, he missed you, but more than anything, he missed resting. These days were so hectic he didn't even know what you were up to. He didn't have time to call, and you stopped replying to his texts a day prior.

He felt overwhelmed from all the stress at work, which was unusual. He's been in the industry for many years and only rarely felt the need to really take a break.

The day went on horribly; everything that could go wrong went wrong. First, he had an emergency meeting with the PR team because dating rumours started circulating between him and his co-star. His reputation already took a hit when he revealed he got married and was caring for Kibum's son, but he didn't care about it. He knew it was going to happen, but Haru's happiness was way more important to him. However, this was different, as it was completely blown out of proportion due to a friendly gesture he did towards a friend.

Whatever, he didn't want to dwell on it. Filming was done, even if it took longer than expected and he didn't get to rest or sleep too much these past days, so he could finally go home.

But then, he started driving home, and someone who didn't see the glaring red light ahead bumped into his car, completely destroying its back. He lost 2 hours waiting for insurance to come and assess the damage, and then had to take an Uber home.

He was supposed to originally get back at 6PM, but it was now well over 9PM and he was cranky, tired, and hungry.

He opened the apartment door only to hear Haru screaming his lungs out, while you leisurely drank a coffee and ate a sandwich at the kitchen table. The house looked like a mess, there were a few things thrown around the place, some half-drunk cups of coffee on the living room table, and a few of Haru's clothes on the sofa.

"Hey." He replied coldly. He didn't want to take it out on you, but what the fuck were you doing?

"Hey. You're back." You replied with a sigh.

"Haru is crying."

"Yea." You nodded. "I can hear him."

"And aren't you going to do anything about it?" He asked, but his tone was almost accusatory, which pissed you off tremendously.

"I will. I just need a break."

"A break? You need a break?" He continued, annoyed.

"Yea. I'm really tired..." You replied, confused by his demeanour. He was normally understanding, so you didn't get where the hostility was coming from.

"You need a break? I'll tell you what, Da-Eun. I fucking need a break. I've worked the whole day, the past few days, actually, and I wanted to come home and rest, not hear the baby cry his heart out while you ignore him, for what, for a nightly snack?! Fucking do something for once."

"Excuse me?" You stared at him in disbelief. "What did you just say to me?"

"What, the crying made you deaf?" He continued. He knew it was wrong, and really didn't want to take it out on you. He was so pissed off, though, and it was hard to contain his anger instead of redirecting it to you, who were there.

"Wow. Okay, sorry I don't do shit while you work sooo hard all day long. Had fun with Hye-ri?" You asked mockingly.

You didn't know why you said that.

It was a low blow, and you knew the scandal didn't hold any truth to it. You said it impulsively.

Minho scoffed. "Don't tell me you believe that bullshit too!"

"I don't. I'm just mad and wanted to get back at you." You affirmed, not wanting to keep fighting him for nothing. It was clear both of you had a couple stressful days, so it was not productive to talk right now.

"Get back at me?! Sooo mature, Da-Eun!"

But why did he keep pushing?

"Can you stop?" You asked him, feeling a couple tears making their way to your bottom eyelids.

"I just can't understand how you can leave him crying like that and simply eat like it's nothing!" He shouted annoyed. "And the house is a freaking mess. I am gone for just 3 days and..." He gestured around him. "Can't you fucking do anything right?"

That was the last drop that overflowed the glass. You felt all the raw emotion pour out of you as you started unloading on Minho everything you felt the past days.

"You know what, Minho? Fuck you! Fuck you for coming back angry and taking it out on me! You think you were the only one with a shitty day?! Haru started teething just as you left and has been crying NON-FUCKING-STOP FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT AND NO MATTER WHAT I DID IT DIDN'T WORK. So I finally take a break- after 3 days of no sleep, not showering and not eating- I take a FUCKING break, which all experts advise when you are overwhelmed, by the way, and I come here to get away from his screaming and eat the first thing I could ever since you left – this fucking sandwich!"

You stood up and grabbed the plate and went directly to the trashcan, throwing the sandwich away angrily. You no longer had an appetite. Then, you continued your ranting.

"And THEN, you come back, FINALLY, and instead of being a supportive partner, what do you do? You start fucking screaming at me, basically calling me good-for-nothing, complaining about Haru, about the house. Just 3 days?! Fuck off! I'm fucking sorry I'm such a failure and such a bad mother in your eyes!"

With that, you brushed over Minho and headed to the nursery, tears streaming down your cheeks uncontrollably.

"Da-Eun, wait-" Minho tried to stop you, realising how royally he fucked up, and that he really hurt you.

"If you need a break so fucking bad, then we'll just leave!" You screamed at him again, and as much as you wanted to at least look composed, you were unable to stop the tears.

"No! I don't want you to leave anywhere! This is your home, and-"

"Look, I know I'm failing tremendously, and that Haru isn't happy with me because babies who are happy don't cry all the time, you don't have to remind me!"

"No, I never-"

"I can't do this right now, Minho. I'm fucking overwhelmed, and I don't want to talk to you or see you right now, so let go of me, and leave me alone!" You screamed at him, then went into the room and locked the door behind you.

Haru was still crying, so you picked him up and rocked him, putting a pacifier in his mouth. You were still crying at this point, so you stood down with him and begged him to shut up for once. Of course, he was a baby and had no idea what you were talking about, so he only stopped after about 30 minutes, when you finally put him down in the crib and he fell asleep without much struggle.
