I made this SO long ago (I’d say around a year ago, so not that long but still) but it’s probably the piece I’m most proud of as a whole. It was made when I was originally trying to find my style, so this was heavily inspired by Olivecow ,, i stil like drawing in a toony style (and i do draw like this a lot), but i think i draw more comfortably in a semi realistic style :((

GOD i wish this were like my default style I LOVE SHAPES!!!!!!!! I LIKE USING SHAPES TO SHOW A CHARACTER WITHOUT WORDS!!!!!!!! but it’s whatever anyways I HEART MOONJOU!! or kinkamoon, whatever it is, i personally like either ship name and honestly i thought kinkamoon was the unanimously agreed upon ship name until like five months ago?? anwyas

Umber is a gay aroace in my head soooo, Umber is in a queer platonic relationship with Turtle, fuck it, Moon is now engaged to Kinkajou, Flame is gay in denail..........OH OH, Tamarin and Anemone but make it Toxic Yuri, Starflight and Fatespeaker are making out in the hallways... Uhhhhhhhhhhh, Deathbringer is a dick he dosent deserve Glory so he's in rejection denial and Glory is a transfem aroace, We need a bit more straightness or people will call me heterophobic

Also how come Moon has more chemistry with Kinkajou than with Winter or Qibli

Like did Sutherland just…forget to add scenes where Moon shows interest in either of the boys? She really doesn’t seem to think of either of them as anything more than a friend, and then we suddenly get a confession at the end that feels completely unearned because all we’ve seen of a “love triangle” is the pining of the boys and absolute radio silence from moon

Moonkajou and Qinter all the damn way Jesus, honorable mentions to Moonstalker because I like it in theory but not in practice

(Edit: also go read Darkstalker’s choice by warrioratheart on deviantart, it’s leagues above the canon ending while not actually changing the plot, literally it’s the true ending and no one can change my mind)

A lil Moonjou/Kinkamoon thingy

So we all know how Moon spent her entire childhood alone, which means she likely missed out on a lot of things that dragonet’s would do, like regular childhood games and stories that it seems everyone else seems to know. Kinkajou realizes how Moon is behind on stuff like that so she makes it her personal goal to show Moon everything she did when she was a dragonet, games rainwing dragonets would play together, basically the modern equal of this is them watching the tinkerbell movies together

I hc that all rainwings are tan cause they're in the sun alot
