"That fucking..." The blonde paused, certain that the mere mention of Gareth made her eye twitch. "I think pushing my buttons makes his dick hard. I swear, one day we're either going to break into a fist fight or fuck to death."

CREEL’S CLOCKS. [#4]
Summary:  Eddie and Gareth introduce 001 to music. Warnings:  Mentions of child experimentation/abuse. Author’s Note:  Sorry this instalment took almost a month, there’s been a lot going on in my family as of late.  Also, I don’t subscribe to the Gareth ‘Emerson’ rhetoric–
Tumblr media
Gareth lives in a proper house.
001 stands close to Eddie’s side, staring up at the house as if he expects it to sprout a mouth and eat him.  Its red bricks and clean windows intimidate the boy more than he cares to admit, it’s normalcy painfully daunting.  He’s heard the phrase, ‘Eyes are the windows to the soul’, but he thinks otherwise;  a person’s home–  being able to peer in through their unsuspecting living room window and see a person in their most vulnerable state–  is the truest indication of who they are inside.
Instinctively, he shuffles closer to their ringleader as Gareth enters the house, the clean white door left slightly ajar as he scopes out who’s home.  When he returns, beckoning them inside insistently, he knows to make a mad dash for wherever Eddie guides him.
As they pass the kitchen, Gareth’s mother calls out in greeting, though her back remains to them as she prepares food.  001 knows not to join in on the tiny chorus of hey!’’s.  This has been his routine for the past three weeks, dodging parents and siblings and grandparents galore.  The less people that know about him, the better.
Eyes curiously travel along the walls each time he’s brought into a new house.  After spending so long in a place that had a singular defining trait–  white–  he’s always left slightly stunned by the personality people pour into their decor.  Some are mushy and sentimental, while others favour aesthetics, and sometimes he can learn all he needs to about a person based on the art they invite into their personal space.  Indeed, a person’s home is the true window to the soul  —  and Gareth’s soul is decidedly homely.  One photograph in particular captures 001’s attention;  a family photo that depicts the entire Keefer creed.  If his assumptions are correct, Gareth isn’t the only child in this house.
Briefly, he considers what his own family portrait would look like, but he can only envision his siblings from the lab, lined up in a miserable row, all looking similarly despondent.  He quickly decides that he’s glad Papa never insisted on photographs being taken.
They make a sharp left and veer down a steep, concrete stairway.  He’s only been in a basement–  a boiler room, to be more specific–  once, and it ended in a punishment so severe that he still remembers the details.  The way Papa had scolded him, before carrying him to the testing room like he was handling a newborn;  the way he himself had nestled his face into his shoulder and wound his arms around his neck despite knowing he was about to be beaten within an inch of his life.   A starved child, hungry only for love, clinging to his benefactor in the blind hope that he’d stop making mistakes that wound him in his bad books.
And all because he’d wanted to see a spider.
001 is tense as they reach the bottom  —  and then Gareth tugs a cord at the bottom of the stairs, bathing the room in warm orange light.
Immediately, the basement defies his expectations.  The hard concrete has been replaced with glossy wooden planks, shoes squeaking slightly when he moves too quickly, and what would have been a garish overhead light has been muted by a large red lampshade.  Blue eyes trace the heavily padded couch, pillows and blankets scattered haphazardly across the L-shaped cushions.  A table littered with videos and comic books sits in front of it, and it naturally prompts him to look at the cabinet poised directly opposite the sofa.  Most of its contents are hidden by closed wooden panels, though a TV sits on top of it, and that’s clearly the centrepiece.
This contrast of wealth and boyish disorder is confusing to say the least.  001 isn’t quite sure what to make of this room  —  whether he should be nervous to sit down and sully the perfect leather of the couch, or whether he should prop his feet up on the messy table as he reclines on it.
His gaze drifts to a strange object in the corner of the room.  He gravitates towards it like a moth to a flame.
“What…  is this?”
“This is my drumset.”  Gareth pridefully approaches the instrument, giving one of the cymbals a pat in very much the same way that a person might pet their dog.  “We make music together.  I’m the drummer.  I’m pretty good.”
001 reaches out to touch one of the drums, only to have his hand slapped away.
“Don’t touch it,”  Gareth barks, scowling.  Out of all the boys, he’s the one who’s thawed the least.  He doesn’t yet trust the other, and he makes sure to remind him of said fact whenever it’s appropriate.
001 acquiesces without complaint, his hand falling back to his side.  He doesn’t really know what it’s like to own something–  nevermind something he loves–  but he imagines he’d be as protective over it as Gareth is over his drums.  He doesn’t hold it against him one bit.
“What does it do?”
Gareth squints.  “I already told you.  It makes music.”
“Music…?”
“Yeah.”  His arms fold over his chest, a scornful eyebrow raise directed at the strange boy.  “Are you for real right now?”
“Hey, c’mon man.”  Eddie joins their circle, shooting Gareth a disapproving look.  Not quite a glare, but not far off.  “You gotta have more patience.  He doesn’t know.”
Gareth glances away, as if genuinely ashamed.  He isn’t a bad person;  he doesn’t revel in being mean or unfair, he just has a shorter fuse than most and doesn’t always know how to put his good nature into practice.  He looks at 001 before bowing his head in silent acknowledgement.
“Yeah.  Each of the drums makes a different sound.  You hit them with sticks and they make noise.”
If nothing else, hitting things with sticks sounds like a fun pastime.  The more 001 thinks about it, the more he realises that his choice in hobby makes perfect sense  —  that somebody of Gareth’s temperament would be drawn to something that relieves him of his frustrations.  It’s the first time that he’s seen aggression be poured into something other than another person.  It earns the boy a strange sort of respect.
“A drum beat is the pulse of any good song,”  Eddie proclaims, grinning wide as he slings an arm around Gareth’s shoulders.  “Real important.  Almost as important as teaching you what good music is.”
001 tilts his head like a confused puppy.  “Good music?”
The notion makes little sense to him.  He thought that art was subjective, and ultimately meaningless.  That’s what Papa always used to say about his drawings.
So what if he said that?  You’ve already come to the conclusion that he tells lies.  That was probably one of them.
He watches as Eddie bends low, pulling the doors of the cabinet open to reveal rows upon rows of cassette tapes.  They sit in snug, uniform lines, their titles displayed proudly on their spines.  In the centre of the middle shelf, a stereo stands tall, a slot for tapes visible on the front.
“What do you think, Garebear?  The Ramones?”
“Led Zeppelin?”
“Black Sabbath?”
The boys spare each other a sideways glance before descending into a fit of snickers.  The image of a boy as reserved and quiet as 001 being exposed to the scathing screams of Ozzy Osbourne is its own brand of hilarious.  One day, they’ll have to try it, just to see how he reacts, but for now they take mercy on him.
Eventually, they settle on Pink Floyd.
“I’m gonna be honest, I like it harder,”  Eddie says as he slots the tape into place, handing his friend the case.  His eyes flit delicately along the title, as if trying to decipher another language, while Eddie fiddles with the volume dial on the stereo.  As he’s grown older, he’s shifted further and further from classic rock, veering into heavy metal territory, but he doesn’t want to frighten 001.  It’s a genre that he should be eased into  —  especially as somebody who’s never really listened to music before.  “But this is okay too.”
001’s head snaps in the stereo’s direction when an unfamiliar voice and a smooth baseline emerge from the speakers.  Like a deer in the headlights, he stares at the device as if he’s deathly afraid of it.
“It’s okay,”  Eddie says with a laugh, clapping a hand on his shoulder and guiding him to sit with him on the sofa.  001 perches uncomfortably on its edge, as if scared to take up space, soaking in the new sensations like a sponge.  “Just relax.  That’s what music is.  A catharsis.”
Gareth takes a seat on the stool behind his drum kit, head bobbing to the beat.
001 has never had much time to simply exist.  Everything he’d done in the lab, he’d done for a greater purpose.  Fun was always an afterthought, and it was made abundantly clear by both Papa and the orderlies that oversaw their activities during free time that that was nothing more than necessary play;  an olive branch in the form of a choice between a chess board and a spinning top.
Eyes are drawn to the art on the cassette, eyes glazing over as he looks at the rainbow.  He hates these damn things.  All he can think about is that stupid room, with its stupid rules and its stupid toys.  As if a colouring book and a smile could make up for the fact that he’d been forced to fight a sibling that was five years his junior just that afternoon.
001 won’t pretend to be a saint.  He was mean to those kids, but he realises now that he behaved that way because Papa encouraged it.  Everything was a test, and those who failed, even if their efforts were valiant, received ire.  Disappointment so cool that it burned.  001 had done his best to make the scientist proud–  had burned himself out several times, spent nights hunched over the toilet bowl in his room’s tiny bathroom nook after pushing himself to his physical limit, all for a modicum of affection.  All he’d received was a list of mounting expectations, and an aching need to be loved.
He jumps slightly when Eddie rests a hand on his shoulder again.
“Hey.  Be careful with that.  You’re gonna break it.”
His gaze flits to the cassette case he’s holding.  Its plastic is growing pale in the centre, right where his thumb is digging in.  Any more pressure and it threatens to splinter completely.
“Sorry.”
Eddie’s expression is a little more grave than before, eyebrows furrowed.
“Where’d you go?”
001’s mouth twitches with slight confusion.  “Nowhere.”
“I mean in your mind,”  Eddie presses, the music a low whir in the background.  “What were you thinking about?”
001 looks away.  “The bad place.”
He detests how the outside world makes him feel.  It wasn’t supposed to be like this.  He was supposed to break out and find his family near instantly.  He was supposed to be back home by now, neatly slotted into the place he belonged and living a normal, safe life.  Instead, he spends his days confused and afraid, and feeling very much as if there isn’t room for him.  Eddie, Gareth and Jeff all seem to be trying so hard to make space for him in their homes, but he can’t imagine it’s much fun to spend time with somebody who’s so incredibly stunted.  Having to explain every little thing must get annoying, to the point where Gareth’s scorn is perhaps the most fair reaction he’s been met with.
I feel like a waste.  I just want to be allowed to die.
It isn’t the first time he’s had such a terrible thought.  In fact, the grave has occupied his brain ever since Papa introduced him to war.  He hopes, for his own terribly selfish sake, that his theory about there being nothing after death is correct.  The idea of being forced to endure a whole other lifetime is more torturous than any shock therapy or beating he’s shouldered thus far.
Eddie squeezes his shoulder gently, offering him a warm smile.
“Well, don’t think about that any more.  You’re not going back there.”
Before 001 can reply, Gareth hitting his drums in time with the music earns his attention.  There’s a broad smile on his face, wooden sticks accentuating the current track’s droning rhythm.
“Oh, big deal!”  Eddie teases, picking up one of the comic books on the table and swatting 001’s knee with it.  “Tell him he’s lame, One.”
What is ‘lame’?
Before they can linger on it too long, Eddie stands up, bounding over to the stereo and plucking the tape from it.
“Keep up with THIS!”
And just like that, a wailing guitar consumes the basement, volume cranked up LOUD!  001 jumps in his seat, back pressed tight against the couch as the noise smothers him, and immediately Gareth rises to the challenge.  What was a simple four-by-four beat becomes quick and well-flourished, the boy smirking wolfishly as he races to keep up with the pounding rhythm.
001 isn’t told what the song is  —  and while he can’t say that he likes it, the way that it makes him feel is something he’s never experienced before.  What Eddie said, about music providing catharsis…  he’s feeling it now, coursing through him like a current.  He feels very much about the heavy guitar the way that he does about charcoal:  it’s comforting to have something that mirrors the mess in his head.  Charcoal is bitty and smears oh-so-easily, and his fingers wind up looking like part of the art he’s made.  Similarly, the guitar buries its way into his brain and does nothing to untangle his jumbled thoughts.  Instead, it ignites them, technicolour electricity pulsing through the noise in a way that makes him feel understood.  Represented.  Less alone.
Eddie lets out an excited wail, mimicking playing a guitar at a ridiculously high speed, both boys consumed by a deep, frenetic appreciation for the art.  001 stares in wide-eyed wonder.  He’s never seen a person succumb to a rhythm before;  it’s oddly primal.
“C’mon, One!  Join in!”
The boy blinks owlishly, clearly not understanding the assignment.  “What…  do I do?”
“You just feel it!”
001 attempts to focus through the ruckus, pinpoint how the track makes him feel.  If he tries hard, he can sense something.  It starts in his feet, manifesting itself in the form of an awkward side-to-side shuffle, and slowly works its way up from there.
“I feel…  like moving.”
“Then it’s working!”  Eddie’s moves, comparatively, are severely unhinged.  His arms are flailing.  His tongue is stuck out.  His shoulder length hair is flying everywhere.  And Gareth is playing with such ferocity that his poofy head of hair is coming out of place.
The singer’s vocals shift from quiet growls to noisy yells, and immediately 001 stops shuffling.  After a moment of stunned silence, the boy bursts out laughing.  It's an unsure sound–  broken up into several pitched syllables, as if he's trying desperately not to let it out–  but it's laughter nonetheless, and it's enough to have both boys stop what they're doing.  001 hunches over, hugging his stomach as a tidal wave of mirth washes over him.  For just a moment, despite the strain in the action, he comes across as an average boy.
"What gives?"  Gareth demands with a grin, breath coming out in shallow pants.
"Why is he doing that?"  001 asks with a breathless smile, little white teeth displayed in a rare moment of unguarded glee.
"He's feeling it!"
"Feeling…  the drums?"
"Feeling it all, man."  Eddie reaches out to turn the volume down a little.  "Never seen screamo make someone laugh before though."
001 can't entirely explain why it had been funny to him.  He just knows that the unexpected nature of it had startled, then tickled him.  The most he's heard is a quiet piano trill and a measured whine of the violin.
"It surprised me,"  he admits, his face back to flat.  "I didn't expect him to shout."
Papa never liked noise, and he especially didn't like chaos.  He was the equivalent of a judge, if the judge in question was allowed to wield his mallet against the people that disrupted the order of  the courtroom.
Blue eyes flit back to the stereo, then to Gareth's drum set.
"I like music.  I think."  He doesn’t understand it yet, but that's neither here nor there.  "Can I… hit the drum?"
Eddie and Gareth share a look before Gareth hands over one of his sticks.
"Sure, man.  Get it out."
001 doesn't know if he's ever going to 'get it out', but at least he's slowly adjusting.  Assimilating.  Learning.  He strikes one of the drums gently, its weak echo playing on loop in his head.
Gareth smirks. "Harder than that."
001 glances at him, then looks back at the drum he'd chosen, beating it harder this time. The mess inside his head folds outwards, relief nestling into every wounded thought he's ever had.  Catharsis.
Maybe hitting things with sticks should be his thing too.

Ending In Kisses
A/N: This is a belated birthday gift to the lovely @keef--kogayne  ! I asked her what she wanted, and she said “maybe some Sheith, or some soft Kuro” and I said “BOTH.” Set in some sort of College AU with some elements of the Discord chat I’ve been in with her.
Happy Birthday Rylee!
“Keith, why are we watching this movie? What even is this?”
“It’s Repo! The Genetic Opera. It’s for my cult film analysis class. Remember when we watched Rocky Horror?”
“...cult film analysis class...? You don’t have a cult film-”
“Shh, it’s an important part!”
Shiro rolled his eyes lovingly and pressed a kiss against Keith’s temple. Of course, Keith’s love of cryptids would warrant a love of cult classics as well. Even though Shiro didn’t particularly like the movies themselves, he absolutely adored spending time with his Keefers. He always picked cult classics. Always.
They did this every single weekend. Keith would come over with take-out food, and the two of them would immediately slump into the old couch with blankets and pillows to spare. When they were sufficiently nested, they’d snuggle up to eat and watch the movie.
When food was finished, they’d hunker down even more. Their movie nights always ended in kisses. Sometimes from happy snuggles, sometimes from comforting when the movie was particularly sad, sometimes when one of them fell asleep as a wake-up, sometimes from when the movie was just a tad too boring and the two wanted to move onto something more interesting. There were so many options for the night to fall into.
Shiro was about to plant one of the happy snuggle kisses on Keith’s forehead when a startlingly familiar voice came from behind the couch. “Shiro...?”
Both of them startled from their position, separating their bodies as if someone could find something incriminating. Instead of a robber or a murderer, the boys found Kuro standing wrapped in a blanket, bottom lip trembling.
Kuro had lived with his twin brother for a few days now, having just come out of the hospital and needing a place to start getting back on his feet again. No one knew exactly what happened - not Shiro, not the doctors, not even Kuro - but it was clear Kuro had some trauma. Shiro became an older brother very fast, despite being the same age as Kuro, and while he absolutely loved his brother, it was beginning to interfere with his social life.
Including his life with Keith.
Shiro suddenly looked very tired. “What is it, Kuro?” he asked as Keith paused the movie.
“I-I had a nightmare again...”
Shiro looked to Keith, wincing at the prospect of ruining their date night. He expected the usual grumpy face when Lance or Pidge interrupted their dates. But instead, Keith looked very worried - the same kind of worry Shiro had when Kuro was first released, and he wasn’t drained of energy. He turned back, using a very soft voice Keith hadn’t heard very often.
“What was the nightmare about, Kuro?”
Kuro wiped his nose with the edge of the blanket, voice trembling with every word, “I had a dream that mom and dad hated me...and that everyone left me, and I got really mad. A-and I spent years trying to ruin your life, and I burnt down your tree house, and you hated me, a-and and...” he quickly dissolved into sobs, tears spilling down his cheeks in buckets, “Y-you don’t hate me....do you, Shiro?”
The slightly older twin immediately got up from the couch and pulled Kuro into his arms, “No, of course not, Kuro...of course not, it was just a dream, okay? Let’s get you all back in bed, you won’t have it again-”
“Shiro?”
He instinctively looked over when Keith called his name, “I’m sorry, Keith, I’ll just be a second-”
“No, that’s not what I meant,” Keith shifted over to one side of the couch, leaving a nice warm spot in the nest, “C’mere Kuro, you can stay here with us.”
The younger twin looked up from his mess of tears, looking to Shiro for approval. In turn, Shiro looked to Keith, “Would that be alright with you?”
“I used to get nightmares all the time, I understand,” Keith looked back to Kuro, “You can have the warm space in the middle, it’s alright.”
Without a lick of hesitation, Kuro darted around the couch and huddled into the middle seat, dragging Shiro along with him. It took some adjustments and some tear-drying, but eventually, they were all comfortable.
Before long, Kuro was resting peacefully between the couple, his head on a pillow in Shiro’s lap and his legs draped over Keith’s. It didn’t leave a lot of room for the other two to snuggle, but they still sat side by side, Shiro’s metal arm wrapped across Keith’s shoulders. Kuro didn’t hear a single word as the two spoke in hushed whispers.
“I’m sorry Keefers, he’s just-”
“It’s alright, Shiro.”
“He’s just not been himself ever since the accident-”
“I know.”
“A-and I just want him to feel at home again-”
“Takashi.”
At his full name, Shiro looked up. A soft smile painted Keith’s face, and even though they’d been dating for at least a year, it still made the taller man swoon.
“It’s perfectly alright. You’re a wonderful brother...” he gently nudged Shiro’s face to face him, and pressed their lips together, “and an even better boyfriend.”
Their movie nights always ended in kisses.

Alors alors... soyons créatif... Que penses-tu d'un ship Josh (tww) et Don (the newsroom) ? :D
Josh Lyman/Don Keefer
-10/10 this is the worst idea i’m having nightmare thoughts they would make the world explode
They’re basically the same person so… It’s pretty hard to imagine? I mean, they would have the same commitment issues but the same great romantic gestures
But
now i have weird super soft images of the two of them sharing waffles and talking about screwing up at their jobs and comforting each other??? why would you do that to me??? now i want to get into it oh my god f r e e m e
They would meet because Don comes to the White House to pre-interview Josh. Josh would mess with him and be super stupid on purpose because he’s offended by the pre-interview (as if he can’t go on tv - that always goes well - or has the time to do a pre-interview). Then they would have a really interesting and challenging conversation and would flirt a lot?
They would admire each other a lot
Josh would think he can’t be in a gay relationship because protecting the president etc etc and there would be Angst quite a deal of it but then Leo would talk to Jed and Jed would give him a Speech and call him son and my heart would melt and it’ll all be ok
they would never see each other because they work all the time
Sam would be “and they gave me shit for being friend with a prostitute??” and Josh would be all :((( except it’s not about being with a man but a journalist
CJ gives Josh a long list of rules of what he can and can’t do with Don who is a journalist need i remind you Joshua and Josh asks if she wants to make rules for their sex life since she’s so invasive and CJ just gives him a long-suffering look
Danny would be so mad that Josh is allowed to date a journalist
Elliott and Josh would get along super fine? Don and Toby wouldn’t. But Toby would eventually warm up to Don because he makes Josh all relaxed and smiley and he would make Toby laugh with monologues about people who iron their clothes while wearing them
Don offering to hire Ainsley Hayes every time he’s around her, Ainsley just smiling and Josh going c r a z y
Everyone at News Night is a little starstruck the first time they meet Josh? And then they realise he’s just a nerd who never stops talking and gets all gushy about Don and they just roll their eyes and try not to speak about politics when he’s around
Toby and Mac would team up and argue with Will for hours (Toby would argue super seriously and after some time Mac would just shake her head like “what did i tell you? he’s a republican”)
When they have the time (which is not often) and they go out with Don’s friends (colleagues) Josh would get super serious everytime someone talks about president Bartlet (or Santos) and Don thinks it’s adorable although exhausting how he feels the needs to launch into a speech even when it’s just an offhand remark from someone who didn’t mean anything
CJ would ask if Josh chose Don because his name is like Donna’s and things would be very fucking weird for several days & she would laugh forever
They would argue a lot bc of their job except Josh would get actually hurt because he tries his best all the time and sometimes news night’s coverage just seems cheap or like it plays the game of the Republicans and at the white house they may be angry at journalists but Don isn’t “journalists”
Don has to explain 100000 times that i’s their job to do the news, even when it’s not favourable towards Bartlet, even if most of them are democrats
Josh would give him the speech he gave Amy about being a grown-up and working to shape politics if they actually want to change the world and Don would be hurt because journalists are fucking important? honestly Josh
basically they would hurt each other a lot because they speak without thinking and they’re bad at talking about their feelings
Don has a conversation with Donna & he tells her about Josh being so scared someone he loves will die and it’ll be his fault and Donna knows he Understands and he’s A Good One. It matters a lot to Josh that she approves
fuck can you picture Josh talking about his sister and Rosslyn and Leo and Don gently holding him???
they would make Embarrassing love declarations because they’re embarrassing
Josh would be terrified of Sloan because she threatened to cut him if he hurts Don and she was totally believable
Amy and Sloan would team up to make fun of them, I can picture it, it’s perfect
This is a mess and I regret nothing

Are these dramatic quotes from ‘The Morning Show’ or ‘The Newsroom’?
But while watching, the similarities between the series, especially when it comes to the writing, become more apparent. As The Washington Post’s Hank Stuever wrote in his review of “The Morning Show,” viewers might perceive the show to be “another finger-wagger about the high-stakes, ethically murky world of broadcast news.” Just as ATN anchor Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) and his producer, MacKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer), did on Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series, Apple’s fictional journalists — TMS anchor Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and her rival, Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) — are prone to spouting moralistic commentary on the importance of reporters and their dogged pursuit of the truth.
It’s all quite dramatic, but that’s television! (And as the “Democracy Dies in Darkness” newspaper, we’re guilty of a little drama ourselves.) In that spirit, here are a bunch of news-centric lines pulled from the pilot episodes of “The Morning Show” and “The Newsroom.” Can you guess which show each quote is from?
“My gut instinct is to bring the news to America myself honestly. Addressing the truth is the only way to protect our integrity. So we will talk to them as members of our family. We will grieve with them. We will go through this together.”
This is none other than Alex Levy, the (nearly) always professional co-anchor of “The Morning Show,” speaking to network executives after they fired her on-screen counterpart of 15 years, Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell).
“It’s just a big wheel that goes around. Liberals add sanctions, conservatives remove those sanctions and they just keep fighting, ’cause all they want to do is hear themselves talk. And they all want to be right. And they all want to win.”
There’s this strange phenomenon where the same “Newsroom” clips seem to go viral every few years — or, in the case of that airplane scene, every few months. So even if you never watched the show, you might be familiar with Will McAvoy’s viral rant about how America isn’t the greatest country in the world. But the quote above is actually from another viral rant, courtesy of “The Morning Show’s” Bradley Jackson, who launches on a tirade against a man who knocks over her cameraman at a protest.
“There’s nothing that’s more important in a democracy than a well-informed electorate. When there’s no information or, much worse, wrong information, it can lead to calamitous decisions that clobber any attempts at vigorous debate. That’s why I produce the news.”
“Produce” might have given it away, as this is, in fact, the famed television news producer MacKenzie McHale trying to persuade Will to ditch his ratings-friendly segments in favor of more hard-hitting news.
“People will want the news if you give it to them with integrity. Not everybody, not even a lot of people, but 5 percent. And 5 percent more of anything is what makes the difference in this country.”
Sorkin was notorious for sticking “the news” in places that make it sound a little awkward — however authentic it may sound, nobody really says “do the news” — and this optimistic MacKenzie quote is a good example.
“Well, you know, when the Exxon Valdez hits the reef and spills 10,000 gallons of your oil into the water, you kind of drop whatever you’re doing and fly to Alaska. And, if I might exhaust the metaphor, you don’t leave until you make sure that every last salmon and sea otter is scraped clean.”
As frenemies of “The Newsroom” might remember, Will is convinced to keep MacKenzie on as his executive producer by the way her team handles ATN’s coverage of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The 1989 Exxon Valdez spill comes up in those discussions, but, coincidentally, it’s also what Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup), the skeevy head of news in “The Morning Show,” employs as a crisis management metaphor after firing Kessler.
“You blew that interview, and you took it out on me.”
While the “you” might sound like it refers to Alex after she belittles Bradley on live television, this is actually Don Keefer (Thomas Sadoski), who produced Will’s show before MacKenzie, arguing with his former boss.
“Tech or not, there will always be a need for reliable, quality journalism.”
He doesn’t dazzle as much as MacKenzie, but “Morning Show” executive producer Chip Black (Mark Duplass) gets a few righteous lines of his own. Here, he defends quality journalism to his ratings-hungry boss.
“People get their horrible news delivered to the palm of their hand 24/7, and they get it the way they like it, colored the way they want it. And news is awful, but humanity is addicted to it, and the whole world is depressed by it.”
This is how Cory, the aforementioned ratings-hungry boss, responds. (Bleh!)
“You’re terrified you’re going to lose your audience, and you’d do anything to get them back. You’re one pitch meeting away from doing the news in 3-D.”
Knock knock, it’s Mackenzie again!
“I was talking to him about the truth! You remember the truth? Journalism? We’re newspeople, Jones! Listen to yourself!”
No, we did not make this quote up, as we have not forgotten the truth! This is really, truly, honestly something that Bradley says to a higher-up at her local news station after he gets mad at her over the viral video.
“Reclaiming the Fourth Estate. Reclaiming journalism as an honorable profession!”
Need we tell you that this is also MacKenzie?
“We reporters, we see the way the world works, and sometimes you just want to get in there and educate people and stop them from constantly going in circles with their ideas. It’s just so frustrating, it’s sad.”
While appearing as a guest on “The Morning Show,” Bradley explains her outburst to Alex by saying that she was frustrated by the willful ignorance of the man she was seen yelling at.
“Just a field producer, a cameraman and a reporter.”
HBO’s closed captioning caught the words some random woman uttered into the phone as the camera swept through the titular newsroom, so we thought we’d include them.
“I’m just here to deliver the news to America. That’s all I ever wanted to do.”
Bradley doesn’t want to do the news, she wants to deliver it! And that’s all she’s ever wanted to do.

LeBron James’ layup with 10:28 left makes it 76-69. Timeout Pacers.
This lineup not working. Too much Lance. Not enough anybody else. Cavs within 76-69, closest they’ve been since Pacers led 10-4.

  Third quarter
Pacers 73, Cavs 65
Victor Oladipo has 22 points, Myles Turner 16, Bojan Bogdanovic 10.
LeBron James has 20 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Kevin Love has 9 points and 15 rebounds.

Lance Stephenson gets a technical foul for clubbing LeBron James on the head.
Lance got LeBron on the head, but not that hard. LeBron has some acting chops. I’ve seen the commercials. Lance gets a tech on the foul.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) April 15, 2018
Kevin Love is fouled as he makes a 3 to make it 70-63 with 1:06 left. That’s 5 fouls on Domantas Sabonis. Both teams are having free throw issues.
Pacers, with Victor Oladipo and Bojan Bogdanovic out, are having trouble running an offense.
Cavs aren’t giving up. LeBron James posts up, Cleveland gets a steal and Myles Turner fouls weakly as Larry Nance scores. Pacers lead 70-60.
J.R. Smith hits another 3. Pacers will have to squelch that.
J.R. Smith hits a fadeaway 3 to make it 69-53 Pacers with 3:37 left. Cavs call timeout.
Pacers are into double-digit steals. Victor Oladipo and Bojan Bogdanovic have 3 each. They aren’t scoring in transition, however.

Victor Oladipo is struggling a bit from the line (3-of-6), but he’s up to 19 points. He has 3 fouls with 8:14 left in the period.
ABC’s commentators seem genuinely surprised the Pacers are “outworking their opponent.” Shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. Been doing it for five months.
— Zak Keefer (@zkeefer) April 15, 2018
Pacers off to another quick start with 4 points (Myles Turner and Victor Oladipo hoops) in a minute, timeout Cavs.
Some boos at Quicken Loans Arena as Cavs call timeout, down 59-38. Cavs are listless on offense, and play defense like they don’t care. All game been this way.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) April 15, 2018
  Second quarter
Halftime: Pacers 55, Cavaliers 38
Myles Turner hits a late 3 pointer. He has 12 points. Victor Oladipo leads with 16 points, and Bojan Bogdanovic has 10.

LeBron James has 14 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds for the Cavaliers.
Pacers: 46 percent from the floor, 7-of-14 on 3s.
Cavs: 38 percent from the floor, 2-of-14 on 3s.
You knew it: Lance Stephenson gets into LeBron James early in Game 1
Oh, my: Viewers shocked at Indiana’s huge first half
Cory Joseph and Victor Oladipo score on consecutive possessions. Pacers lead 47-32 with 4:30 left.
That iso by Love on Young is why I think Young neutralizes him. Can’t bully him off the block. Young took the contact, stayed vertical, forced a turnaround j #PacersCavs
— J. Michael (@ThisIsJMichael) April 15, 2018
LeBron James starts making his presence felt. He has 13 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. And the crowd gets into it.
Domantas Sabonis gets his third foul with more than 7 minutes to go as LeBron James gets an and-1.
Bojan Bogdanovic and Lance Stephenson drive for layups on consecutive plays. Pacers lead 40-23 with 7:56 to go. Cavs timeout.
Cleveland’s 9-1 run to start the period brings it within 34-23. Timeout Pacers with 8:47 to go. Trevor Booker and Domantas Sabonis have 2 fouls each. Larry Nance Jr. has 6 points.
The way theyre calling screens since yesterday baffles me… Cant call it one way for 82 games and then decide to tighten the noose. Like I said yesterday. Maybe I’m just off base but that flat screen by Booker looked totally legal on Hill #PacersCavs
— J. Michael (@ThisIsJMichael) April 15, 2018
LeBron James heads to the bench early in the quarter with 6 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Cavaliers score the first 7 of the quarter.
This would be a bad time to mention the Pacers led Cavs by 25 at halftime of Game 3 last year, right?
— Nat Newell (@NatJNewell) April 15, 2018
  First quarter
Pacers 33, Cavs 14 (fewest first-quarter points for Cleveland all season)
Victor Oladipo 11 has points on 3 3s. Myles Turner 7. Lance Stephenson 5.
The Cavs shoot 21 percent, 0-of-8 on 3s and commit 6 turnovers.
Lance Stephenson hits a corner 3, and the Pacers lead 33-12.
Lance Stephenson jams and shouts down the basket support! He’s fouled on the play, too, but misses the free throw.
OK LANCE! pic.twitter.com/r9vzU357Go
— Legion Hoops (@LegionHoops) April 15, 2018
Lance dunking for a 30-10 lead. Crazies start possible.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) April 15, 2018
LeBron James’ first shot comes with 1:52 left. He is fouled by Domantas Sabonis, so it’s not a shot in the scorebook. These are Cleveland’s first free throws. Pacers lead 25-10 after James hits them both.
LeBron James still hasn’t shot the ball, with 2:20 left, but Lance Stephenson whacked him pretty hard there in the post. Getting a replay review. Common foul.
Of course Lance is defending LeBron. Swipes at ball, LeBron sells contact to face. I mean he sells it. Crowd booing. Welcome to Lance, Cleveland. He’s not going anywhere.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) April 15, 2018
Pacers have shot 6 free throws to 0 by the Cavs. Indiana up 20-6. Still no shots by LeBron James.
Pacers pushing, as they usually do, even when there’s no clear advantage. Oladipo & Collison speed create it though #PacersCavs
— J. Michael (@ThisIsJMichael) April 15, 2018
Bojan Bogdanovic’s 3-point play makes it 18-4 Pacers with 4:33 left. That’s a 13-0 Pacers run.
Bojan Bogdanovic’s 3-point play makes it 15-4 Pacers with 5 minutes left.
There’s Victor Oladipo with steals on consecutive Cavs fast breaks.
Pacers lead 10-4 with 6:13 left. Myles Turner with 5 points. LeBron James with 0 shots.
Bogdanovic making LeBron mad. Seems early for LeBron to be angry, but he just swiped at Bogey.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) April 15, 2018
Both teams are cold, shooting 2-of-8. Every Pacer has taken a shot in the first 3 1/2 minutes.
As expected, doubling Oladipo off screens. Giving up switches elsewhere #PacersCavs

Myles Turner hits a jumper on the first play. Rodney Hood ties it a few seconds later.

Hey all,
I only bug you all in this way once a year, and it’s that time again.
For the fifth year in a row, I’m shaving my head to raise money for pediatric cancer research via St. Baldricks, along with our youngest, Nolan is shaving his for the second year, and Tyler, for his third.
We’ve been blessed in that both boys are healthy, crazy, and relatively normal guys. St. Baldricks has been a way to celebrate that.
Change of Location
In the past, we’ve done events at Lynwood Grill, and Lonerider Brewery last year. This year, we’re doing it before the Carolina Hurricanes game this Thursday night, incorporating our fandom for our NHL franchise into our St. Baldricks experience.
Anyone’s welcome to join the team and come on out to the event, or if you can spare a few bucks, we’d love a donation to get us higher up on the leaderboard for the event.

I’m not a true audiophile, but music and audio, have been a constant part of my life. I love headphones for listing to music and in recent years, podcasts, but for my last birthday, Amanda got me a pair of Apple’s AirPods. I had never had any interest, but I use them all the time now, and admit while pricey, they’re a great product by Apple.
Apple Fandom (and Not)
I’ve been a big Apple fan for the past two decades, owning half a dozen Macs, and have been an iPhone user since its inception. But for me, it’s mainly been able the computing products, the iOS ones, and the iPod that preceded the iOS line.
On the flip side, there are a lot of products that Apple’s made that I haven’t been a fan of at all. At the top of that list are their mice. I’ve never been a fan of a single mouse Apple has put out. I’d much rather have a Logitech.
I’m also not a fan of their speakers — either the short-lived Apple Hi-Fi nor the Siri-enabled HomePod.
Getting Over the Bluetooth Hump
Then there’s Bluetooth. I was a holdout for a long time switching anything audio to Bluetooth. While I don’t consider myself an audiophile, I always liked the quality (and the simultaneous charging) offered by a wired connection in the car.
But eventually, I switched over for the convenience of no wires and took a little hit on sound quality. I went Bluetooth for running and cycling.
Earbuds/EarPods
Like the Apple lineage of mice, I’ve never liked any of the earbuds that have come with Apple devices. The original iPod earbuds and even the newest of the Apple EarPods that have been bundled with the last few iPhones all never appealed to me. Like most, my body isn’t perfectly symmetrical. That includes my ears. It turns out that my right ear canal is slightly larger than my left. It’s enough to make it so that the Apple family of wired earphones are never secure in my ears. Forget working out with them. It’s a constant readjustment of them — a combination of reseating and reinserting.
Enter the AirPods
A friend of ours got the AirPods and raved about them at dinner one night. That sparked Amanda to get them for my birthday.
Since then, I use them daily for workouts, walks, and to and from the parking lot at work. The sound is great. The pairing is nearly flawless. The fit is better than any of the wired Apple earphones. While I do have to occasionally reseat the right AirPod, it’s never fallen out — even when running.
AirPods Ins and Outs
The AirPods consist of white left and right earbuds that look a lot like an EarPod without the wire but instead have a small cylinder antenna. The tip of each antenna has a ring of silver. Included with the AirPods is a charging case that looks a bit like a think dental floss case and holds a battery. It pops open and, has magnets that secure the left and right AirPods inside of it for charging. The left and right only fit in one of the holes each. Between the two holes is a single LED that turns amber to indicate the AirPods are charging, or that the case needs to be recharged. On the bottom of the case is a lightning port.
Pairing with an iPhone, iPad or Mac is smooth, and a less tedious process than typically pairing a BlueTooth device. It can be paired with non-Apple devices via a button on the charging case. A battery percentage can be viewed for both the case and the individual AirPods on Mac OS and iOS. The case charges the AirPods back quickly,
Enhancing Fit For Activity
And for running/riding, I ended up getting Earhooks, which are little silicone hooks that go in the lobes of your ear and wrap around the AirPods (or wired EarPods). I’ve run half a dozen times without the Earhooks, never feeling like they’re going to pop out mid-run. But for the $10 I paid for the Earhooks, it’s more secure and the peace of mind that they’re secure during workouts.
The only downside is the Earhooks do have to be removed to put the AirPods back in their charging case.
Complaints/Issues
I’ve had intermittent issues with my left AirPod. It sometimes goes into the charging case. The light turns amber to indicate it’s charging, but I come back much later to find it hasn’t charged. Cleaning the AirPods and case haven’t totally alleviated that. A trip to the Genius Bar is in order for that.
Also on occasion, it doesn’t pair with my iPhone — either one or both AirPods. It’s rare but sometimes doesn’t work.
They also aren’t as tight of a fit in ear canals, so I’ve found I cannot use them with mowing the grass or vacuuming. I end up having to crank them up all the way, long-term damaging hearing.
The only other complaint is the price. At $159, there are other cheaper alternatives. Apple is always a little pricier, but the polish of the hardware and software is nice.
Conclusion
If you can swallow the price, and are an iOS and/or Mac OS user, these are a no-brainer. They sound better and fit better than their wired counterparts. They charge quickly and usually seamlessly via the included case. While I never would have considered buying them for myself, they’ve become a nice piece of technology I use daily.

The NC Courage have become a big part of our family’s lives this past year. We’ll be fans for life. Let me tell you a bunch of the reasons why.
Who are the North Carolina Courage?
The NC Courage are a two-year-old women’s professional soccer team. They play their home games in Cary, North Carolina — a town just South of us here in Raleigh. Technically, the Courage are more like five years old, starting as the Western New York Flash, where they were an original founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). They relocated to North Carolina in 2017 — and that’s where our introduction to the team first began.
Soccer Heightening in our Family
Over the past four years, soccer has quickly become a big part of our lives. Mainly, it’s because both of our boys are playing in the North Carolina Football Club Youth (NCFCY) organization. Our oldest, Tyler is a talented all-around player in his second full year at the challenge level. Our youngest, Nolan is a progressing and talented recreational player. In 2017, the youth organization transitioned from CASL to NCFCY, and with it, a stronger association with the professional NCFC and NC Courage squads.
Additionally, I’ve been coaching since Tyler was in his second season as a rec player. I moved up with him to challenge. With that, I was looking for more places to pick up and understand the game. The professional duo of teams in the North Carolina Football Club and the NC Courage was an obvious choice.
The whole family had already begun to be drawn to the women’s game in a major way, watching all of the US World Cup games over 2015 where the United States eventually won it all.
We had also been fans of the team NCFC had been before — the Railhawks. Tyler had even had a birthday party at the pitch, and we had been to a handful of games.

Inaugural Courage Season
In the Courage’s first year playing in North Carolina, we attended a pair of games and were hooked instantly. That first year we watched them play against Orlando, and then their 1-0 victory against the Red Stars that propelled them to the NWSL Championship Final where they, unfortunately, fell to the Portland Thorns 1-0.
That inaugural season, the NC Courage finished the regular season in first place with a 16-7-1 record, winning the NWSL shield. Through 2017’s season, no NWSL team had ever won both the regular season (NWSL shield) and the championship — a bit of an NWSL curse.
Season Tickets
In the past couple years, my wife, Amanda and I had been toying with the idea of getting season tickets to a local sports team — a way to elevate our fandom a bit, and just support a local team wholeheartedly. Initially, we looked at the Carolina Hurricanes, but between prices, the number of games, and the on-ice product, we declined to pull the trigger.
But at just over a year ago, I decided to get the whole family a big Christmas present — season tickets for the 2018 NC Courage season. Christmas morning, Amanda was psyched to be season ticket holders. The boys took a little bit more convincing. At their ages of 4 and 8 at the time, both were wanting the men’s season tickets — you know because girls have cooties and all.
NC Courage 2018 Season
The 2018 season was an absolute blast, and an amazing time to come into the fray full-time as season ticket holders. We only missed two games all season — one because of weather (the season opener), and one because Tyler had an out-of-town soccer tournament of his own. Other than that, we were present at every other home game, and we streamed every single away game.
The on-field product was absolutely amazing all season, and late in the season, while attending a men’s NCFC match, Tyler admitted that the women were superior. He confessed the Courage were more fun to watch. We went to multiple NCFC games. I’m not taking anything away from NCFC, but it was satisfying to hear we converted Tyler.
Courage Player Interaction
As awesome as the on-field product was, the real icing on the cake, and the thing that really sold our boys, and my wife and I to a lesser extent were all the interactions we had with the players, coaches and staff throughout the 2018 season.
At our first home game, rather than sit around in traffic at the conclusion of the match, the four of us went down to the railing separating the stands from the pitch. The boys got to meet a bunch of the players, get autographs, take photos, and just talk.
I cannot tell you what a great first impression the girls made on our family. They were all genuine and legitimately thankful for our attendance and our support. That first 2018 home game solidified a tradition for us, staying after each and every game to congratulate the team, talk to them, and to get them to autograph tickets and miscellaneous merchandise. We’ve still got to frame some of that autographed merch from the season.
Sabrina D’Angelo
Throughout the course of the season, several of the players ended up knowing our boys by face and a few knew them by name. Nolan latched onto goalkeeper, Sabrina D’Angelo early on. The interactions post-game between Nolan and D’Angelo were a highlight for both Nolan and for Amanda and I. All season, he talked a big game when she was at a distance, but retreated into a rare shy shell often when actually talking to her after the matches.
Their friendship fully cemented in the final home game when Nolan and Sabrina swapped jerseys — a gesture that we’re grateful for. We had tried for a while to get a Nike D’Angelo jersey for Nolan through the NC Courage store and Nike, but it just wasn’t possible/for sale. I offhandedly mentioned it to Sabrina after a match, and she said Nolan could have one of her 2017 jerseys. That’s when Amanda offered to do a jersey swap. So cool — and just one of the many great interactions between D’Angelo and our family, along with so many other NC Courage players.
Lots of Other Player Interactions
While D’Angelo definitely left a lasting impression on Nolan, and the rest of the family, there were a lot of other players. Again, they all were personable, and interactive post game. Former Tar Heel, Jess McDonald was always great to talk with this season — from the post-game signings and chats at the home pitch to the outside of Portland’s Providence Park, she’s been so much fun to get to know just a little bit.
McCall Zerboni has always been super-personable post-game. She took interest in Nolan especially, and it was as high energy after the game as she is in the middle of it. Other players that come to mind in post-game interactions are Jalene Hinkle, Sam Mewis, Elizabeth Eddy, Abby Erceg, Lynn Williams, among others.
2018 NWSL Championship
In May, the NWSL announced that the 2018 Championship for NWSL would happen in Portland, Oregon — a place neither Amanda and I had ever been. With the record-breaking season the Courage were having, we decided to get tickets and make a long weekend out of it. While there were still months to go before fully knowing if the Courage would make it all the way to the championship game, we were all in. I just hoped us purchasing tickets wouldn’t jinx the girls in any way.
As it turned out, it didn’t. Even a hurricane couldn’t stop the 2018 Courage. Mother nature did rob us of being able to see the Courage at home in the semi-finals. Ultimately, we got to see them play and win in the biggest game. They played what ended up being a home field advantage match for their opponents — the Portland Thorns.
Hanging in Portland
Amanda and I flew out to Portland for an extended weekend in Oregon, with the NWSL championship being the centerpiece. We arrived a few days early and got to walk over to a Courage practice and cheer them on with a few other fans. It turned out to be mainly family members of the Courage players. We ended up meeting and talking with a bunch of the parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
We got to know several of the families. Everyone was super welcoming and great to interact with, and we ended up hanging out with them on several occasions. The hope is we’ll see some of them again here at a future match.
Championship Gameday
Originally, our tickets we purchased were the best available, but after meeting up with the Courage family members, we ended up switching our tickets to be near the families and with the other fans who had traveled to the game. Our seats were in the second row for the match where we stood the whole entire match, cheering the whole time as a minority cheering for the NC Courage. The stands were completely packed. The volume level was booming loud. As the Courage scored their first goal, then a second, and a third, things got a bit quieter. Thorns fans around us heckled a lot. But it got to be less and less as it was obvious the visiting (but No. 1 seed) was going to be victorious.
Our purchase of tickets to the NWSL championship before the teams were determined thankfully didn’t jinx the Courage. Our first road game would end up being the Championship, where the girls from NC would end up dominating Portland in a 3-0 win.
Post-Game
The post-game celebration of the Courage winning it all was great fun. The quickly assembled stage at midfield elevated the players as they got their individual medals and NWSL trophy. The Courage all came to our section with trophy raised in triumph, clapping as confetti rained down. As we made the way around the large Providence Park, to go nearer the player benches, we congratulated fellow fans and family.
Exiting the facility, we ended up waiting with Courage family members. We saw Courage/NCFC owner Steve Malik, trophy around his neck. Amanda got to wear it and get photographed with the medal. Malik thanked everyone for coming out.
Amanda and I talked to McDonald a bit, as well as Hinkle as they exited the facility, before ultimately riding back to the Courage’s hotel with Courage family to take part it the post-championship celebration.
On the upper floors of their hotel, in a relatively small ballroom, everyone was fired up — players, coaches, staff significant others, family, fans, and putting the exclamation point on the season, that had only a single loss, an NWSL Shield, and an NWSL Championship. The curse was finally broken by our own NC Courage.
It was so surreal witnessing very up close and personal the celebration, the speeches and elation. View the speeches and some of the celebration here.
2019 and Beyond
It was a no-brainer that we’d renew our season tickets. The 2019 season can’t come quick enough for the Keefer family. We’re ready to see the NC Courage back on the pitch with the majority of the team back, cheering for them, and talking to them afterward. Zerboni should be back from injury. Williams and McDonald will still be scoring machines, and the hope is they defend and retain the NWSL shield, and return to the championship match in the 2019 season.
We only missed watching a single game all season, because of one of Tyler’s soccer tournaments. We attended all but two home games. Our goal in 2019 is to make it to all the home games and to hit a least one road game (Orlando at least).
Thanks NC Courage!
We’ve had such a blast being fans of the NC Courage for the past year and look forward to the years to come. We’ve had a wonderful time learning about the personalities, fire, and skill of every player, coach and staff members associated with the team. Thanks for letting us be a part of it all, and here’s to many more seasons.

Isn’t social distancing fun? Despite what your neighbors may be doing or saying, playdates and parties are not the thing to be doing.
Anyway, here are two videos to watch about the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) that are both well done, and entertaining at the same time.
The Coronavirus Explained & What You Should Do
This video does a great job of explaining Coronavirus. It’s nicely done – both from an informational and visual standpoint:
How To See Germs Spread (Coronavirus)
Remember the guy who did the glitter bomb, GPS-tracking, camera recording packages to catch and exploit package thiefs? His newest video is all about demonstrating the spread of germs. Check it out below.
There are definitely some upsides to all going on right now. A lot of places are being cleaned a lot better than they have been in years — or ever. We might also be going away from antiquated things like the handshake. Sure, neither of those are worth the sickness, isolation, and change in day-to-day routines, but I’m trying to find an upside.
Online Education Resources While Kids Are Home
For those fellow parents juggling working from home and making sure the kids aren’t just YouTubing and playing video games, I started compiling a list of online education resources. Please comment on that posting if you have more resources. As time allows, I’ll update and add.
Be an Adult
Also, let’s all be adults. Be responsible and show some constraint in the coming weeks. That trip to Michaels can be postponed. Make a grocery list, and visit max weekly, or take advantage of online services. Support local businesses where you can, but do it responsibility and minimizing contact.
Use this time to better yourself, do that early Spring cleaning, catch up on reading, and most of all, just be a responsible adult.
