All the cigar chomping fat usually bad guys in Stan Goldberg drawn 1970s Archie at Riverdale High' and 'Life With Archie' just blur into one. And what Mr. Lodge has to do with the office politics of the Riverdale High School athletics department, I do not understand.

New color scheme -- bright colored clothing muted, and then there is the this --

After all this time, I can't say what I think of this series of Riverdale melodramatic adventures. Objectively pretty horrible, and it would be one thing if I can say this is over-ruled by its camp value, but really for the most part in the digest collections these were just ten and eleven pages I just wanted to skip right over. Yet. I can't help but admire -- tasked with filling this space with dramatic happenings of the high school athletic departments and administration -- what else can you do but this?
