This is Jason Everman, he was once a member of 2 grunge megabands. He was a guitarist for Nirvana and a bassist for Soundgarden.
After being fired from both bands, he went on and joined the US army and ended up serving as a special forces Green Beret combat soldier while in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was in the 2nd Ranger Battalion as well as the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne).
