Moving Truck Enters Brazil's Presidential Palace; Bolsonaro to Leave by 31st

President authorized the start of the transition, but has not acknowledged defeat or confirmed when he intends to leave the official residence

The Palácio da Alvorada (Brazilian Government's headquarters) received this Thursday (15) a moving truck, a few days before the deadline for President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to vacate his official residence. Starting next year, the Palácio da Alvorada will be occupied by the president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

Despite having authorized the beginning of the transition, Bolsonaro never publicly acknowledged the electoral defeat. He also did not give any statement on when he intends to leave the official residence. Last week, Bolsonaro gave a dubious speech to supporters in which he said he would "win".
