Character ask: "Honest John" Worthington Foulfellow (Disney's "Pinocchio")

Original film only – I haven't seen the remake.
Favorite thing about them: He's a charming villain with a nice blend of humor, cleverness, and charisma.
Least favorite thing about them: Well, obviously, he's a villain, willing to con an innocent child and hand him over to other villains who will exploit him or worse. He also implies in the tavern scene with the Coachman that he's willing to commit murder for money.
Three things I have in common with them:
*I like making money.
*I sometimes try to seem more sophisticated than I really am.
*I can sometimes be hammy.
Three things I don't have in common with them:
*I'm not a con artist.
*I would never place a child in harm's way for profit.
*I don't hang out with a goofy cat.
Favorite line: All his verbose "diagnoses" of Pinocchio's supposed illnesses when he's persuading him to go to Pleasure Island. Especially his jazzy description of Pinocchio's supposed heartbeat:
"A palpating syncopation of the killer diller with a wicky-wacky stamping of the floy joy. "
brOTP: Gideon.
OTP: None.
nOTP: Pinocchio.
Random headcanon: His posh accent is fake. If you listen closely, every now and then it slips and he utters an average American "r." Of course these were probably just slip-ups from his voice actor Walter Catlett, who was from California, but I'd like to think they're real slip-ups on the character's part too.
Unpopular opinion: I'm of two minds about whether he should get any comeuppance someday or not. On the one hand, it would be satisfying to see him be arrested or otherwise punished, and in the original book he ends up becoming a crippled beggar. But there's also something effective about the fact that he gets away scot free in the film. As Jiminy Cricket points out, he's temptation personified, so maybe it's only right to assume he'll never be punished and will always be out there, and the key is just to learn to resist him.
