#It's all MONSTA X's fault

@sofapup17 asked for the link to my Who Holds the Devil playlist and I figured more of you might be interested, so here it is.
As the description says, it's not exactly a soundtrack but rather a collection of songs with suitable vibes and lyrics. And by "suitable vibes" I mean pretty dramatic, often heartbreaking, occasionally sweet, kinda sexy, vaguely desperate, and, of course, just a tiny bit dangerous. And yes, some of the songs are connected to specific events that already have or will happen in the fic ;)
More songs might be added as I find them and they're in no particular order for the time being.
And, before anyone asks: No, there is not a single song by GOT7 on there at the time of writing, mainly because I haven't actually listened to them x'D (well, yet. I'll get to it eventually >_> )
SO YEAH. Enjoy?

monsta x i.m as a boyfriend reading
this reading is a paid commision, thank you so much for trusting in me! <3 celebrity commissions • personal commissions
Tumblr media
overall:
i.m is super dependent and wants the perfect partnership, but he’s also very closed off, so he wishes he could skip the talking stage (getting to know each other, gauging whether he can trust you or not and eventually having to open up himself) and just be locked in and in love. he has very high expectations - it’s not just about going on dates and remembering anniversaries to him, it’s a life long partnership. i.m wants to grow with his partner and do everything together - he wouldn’t even be in a relationship if he didn’t want to do things as a unit. he’s someone who really values loyalty, so he will be there for you through tough times or if you were to fall ill. he wants a classic “your strengths make up for my weaknesses” and vice versa relationship, where you are always each others first choice. I think i.m genuinely wants to be a good boyfriend. he wants you to be able to go to your friends like “yeah my bf does everything right.” he’s also a very patient person, he wants to stick by someone through all phases that they go through. another thing is that i.m is good at removing himself from toxic situations when he recognises them (it’s just that he can also find “red flags” that could really be worked through instead).
strengths:
i.m is mega romantic, he wants wants you to feel special and loved. he will do all the easy things like celebrating birthdays and vacationing but also all the hard things - supporting you through goals & dreams, sicknesses, grief etc. he’s genuinely a giving person. he really wants to learn about you and make you feel comfortable to the point you can tell him ANYTHING, he doesn’t want you to be shy about anything, even with smaller things (like he’ll buy your tampons). he wants to grow with you and even likes to talk about long term goals and making sure that you guys achieve them (like coming up with a 5 year plan or “ok where will we be this time next year?”). he is also the type to own up to his faults and apologize if he truly believes he was in the wrong. but basically, he’s going to try and be giving to you in every way (time, energy, money etc.), he is a very generous lover.
weaknesses:
he looks for red flags and he’s paranoid about how much the other person really likes him, so that causes him to put unnecessary stress on the relationship. he’s definitely still hung up on someone from his past. he’s still trying to find someone he likes as much as her, to the point that even if he’s in a long term relationship currently, he’d be thinking “when will it feel like how it was with her again..”. and in an attempt to be there for people at their worst, he can put up with being treated pretty horribly by partners (not reciprocating his same love & care), and even rationalizes his mistreatment by thinking they’re just going through something and that he’s being supportive (the way he hopes they would for him during bad times). he really has a problem with letting people be really selfish with his money, energy and time. while he will end things once he realizes a person is truly selfish, he realizes too late. due to wanting such a deep connection, he can be a smothering partner - behaving too pushy and not giving the other person a chance to breathe. i.m is really desperate to be understood, he wants a girl that can get him like he wants to get her, but then still refuses to open up to her. it’s like he doesn’t get people can’t learn to know him if he refuses to tell them who he is. he puts more value on looks than he thinks he does, going after super pretty girls and just hoping their personalities will be compatible (or even improve) once they date. overall, he’s just really paranoid.
what kind of relationship is i.m looking for?
right now, i.m wants a very serious relationship. one where they feel safe with each other and they don’t mock or tease each other - mutually very supportive. he wants a really close relationship - to the point where other people might judge it or think it’s too much (maybe having each other locations on, or knowing passwords etc). he is looking for a very equal relationship, where they are both very giving but they don’t leech off of each other (so he wants a strong woman, sort of like a power couple, though he not really looking to dominate the business world or anything). he wants to spend A LOT of time with the person he’s dating (decorate their home together, travel together etc.). he wants a relationship where you go home to them after a long day and know you’re going to feel safe, supported and comforted. a peaceful and protecting relationship. he’s looking for a long term relationship.

A Shot Through the Heart
Tumblr media
Fandom: Monsta X
Genre: Smut, natch.
Word Count: 17k (yeah, you read that right >.>)
Pairing: Hyungwon x OC
Trope: Anonymous sex, strangers to lovers
Synopsis: “You can’t catch feelings sucking tequila out of a stranger's bellybutton.”
The Vibe: Hopeless romantic OC meets shameless Miami Beach party, sweet and sincere Chae Hyungwon (who’s also a bit of a pathetic loser sometimes, and I love that about him, so that’s here also), probably cringey meet-cute, definitely cringey rom-com title because obvious cheesy rom-com overtones, well-meaning friends who actually have no clue what they’re talking about, body shots, stepping out of one’s comfort zone, instant chemistry, trying (and failing) to keep things casual, unprotected (not-so) anonymous sex (thank you, dramatic irony), far too romantic for what it’s supposed to be, the usual unrealistic rom-com expectations, cute ending because the author is also a hopeless romantic
A/N: Continuing the Wonnie love agenda since no one else wants to do it for me. This was most definitely for me because I’m hyper-obsessive about Hyungwon’s every charming feature and the Unseen promotion as a whole, but I hope you enjoy it, too.
Tumblr media
You are here for fun.
As Gwen danced from foot to foot in the raucous line, she repeated the words over and over.
You are here for fun.
With searing clarity, she could hear her roommate Marie as though they were still in the car on their long drive down from New Jersey.
“It’s Miami, okay? You’re not going for a relationship. You are here for fun. Grind up against random hot guys. Make out with a stranger. I love you, but be a little fucking unpredictable for a change. Whatever, just no crushes because, I swear to god, if you even say to me, ‘He’s really sweet, Marie! I could see myself going out with him!’, I will throw up. And if the words ‘boyfriend material’ come out of your mouth, then so help me,I’m leaving your ass in Florida.”
You are here for fun.
She couldn’t even fault her friend for the rant. Gwen formed attachments, real and imagined. Hell, she was about to celebrate her 11th anniversary of fake marriage to Dylan O’Brien even though she hadn’t watched anything with him in it in years. Almost every man she’d ever gone on a date with had been followed with a relationship that left a crater of ruinous magnitude. It drove perennial bachelorette Marie crazy considering she was always the one left behind to rip the empty cookie dough tub from her roommate’s death grip and hazmat the ground zero of all the balled-up tissues.
After the latest of Gwen’s embarrassingly short-lived “sure-thing” relationships blew up spectacularly in her face, her friend had taken her under her wing and planned to show her once and for all “how to put distance between your heart and your lady parts.”
“Let’s have a little fun at men’s expense,” Marie had proposed when she’d flaunted the extravagant hotel deal she’d scored in Gwen’s face.
Now a month later, and here they were, three nights in at a palatial hotel on Miami Beach with a pulsing club in its heart and a raucous party that trickled out onto its grand pool concourse.
Their deal had been a simple one. In exchange for saying “yes” to three bullet points on her roommate’s “good time list,” Marie would pay for the hotel rooms for their bachelorette weekend. The only other stipulation on top of that was absolutely, positively no relationships.
So far, Gwen had passed with flying colors. She’d let a man buy her a drink at the hotel bar, and she’d danced with a few strangers, all without a hint of attachment. The guys were an eclectic mix of hot that had Marie rubbing her hands together and muttering “Taste the rainbow” on ludicrous repeat, but that’s all they were—eye candy. Gwen could compartmentalize that. Her friend’s plan was working. She’d felt beautiful. She’d felt powerful. She’d felt in control of her heart for once. She was ready to conquer one last, more challenging bullet point.
“You’re young, you’re hot, but you’re too damn romantic,” Marie had scolded as she’d helped her friend accessorize before heading down for the night. “Tonight, remember your mantra. You’re here to have fun. You’re not going to invent a backstory for everyone you meet. It’s okay to be a little superficial sometimes.”
“I’m doing pretty good, aren’t I?”
“Killing it, in fact,” the spicy brunette agreed.
“Damnit, I’m still so nervous every time though,” Gwen admitted as Marie had smoothed out her friend’s blonde beachy waves.
“Yeah, I know, babe, which is why I keep urging you to dip your toe instead of deep-ending everything. Contrary to what your Nora Ephron-mutated heart tells you, ninety-nine-point-nine percent of the guys you meet aren’t marriage material for Gwen Goodwin.”
“What about the one who is?”
Marie bent down and kissed her friend’s cheek. “I don’t know, but I promise you this. You didn’t meet him last night, and you’re not going to meet him tonight.”
So it had all led up to this bullet point—a ridiculous line for body shots poolside.
“Come on, you picked the best one on the list! It’s harmless,” Marie had laughed as she escorted her friend into the line. “You can’t catch feelings sucking tequila out of a stranger's bellybutton. Now, I'm going to go hit on that guy over there, and, god willing, have his beautiful, obscene mouth on mine for a bit, and you’re going to spin the roulette wheel of hot and put your beautiful, obscene mouth on someone’s sexy stomach. No regrets?”
“No regrets,” Gwen agreed.
“I’ll have my eye on you, babe. If you need me, text me,” she said as she flashed her smartwatch at Gwen.
“Will do.”
“Have fun! Love you!”
“Good luck!”
Gwen watched as Marie zig-zagged through several clusters of partygoers until she reached her target, a rather burly guy with stupendous shoulders accentuated by a compression tee. Gwen couldn’t see the guy’s face, but she could see her friend’s, and it was lit up with a smile the likes of which she had never seen from the girl. She kept her fingers crossed that things would pan out as her friend hoped.
Meanwhile, Gwen turned back to her line where the shot-takers waited alongside the line of human shot glasses. She was at least twenty people back from the table, so there was no way to know with whom she might be paired. There were just as many women in the shot glass line as there were men, all of them attractive at unprecedented levels. She was grateful she was in the line she’d chosen because she didn’t think she could survive someone of their sexiness putting their mouths on her stomach.
That’s when her eyes fell on him, the shot glass with the round face and flushed lips. He was tall and slender, dressed unassumingly for someone in his decidedly sexier line. He wore a plain black tee and a pair of slim fit jeans on legs that seemed double the length of the rest of him. Other than a few silver rings on his spindly fingers, his only accessory was a pair of now-pointless sunglasses sitting on top of his fluffy dark hair. There was nothing flashy about the guy, yet she somehow wished she had a pair of her own sunglasses just to look at him.
His toned arms were stacked loosely over a wide chest that pulled the tee at his shoulders. Pretty as he was, the man didn’t talk to a soul; if he knew any of the people around him, he didn’t let on. Instead, those big, inquisitive eyes busied themselves scanning the party like a prairie dog.
He looked at her suddenly then, and the weight of his attention made Gwen’s ankle give out in her stupid high heels. She wobbled back with a yelp, but, luckily, the girl behind her caught her elbow and helped her regain her balance.
“You all right?” the girl asked.
“Yeah, yeah,” Gwen mumbled along with an apology and her thanks.
“Walk much?” said some generic bro a few people back in line, and it felt like everyone at the party was looking at her.
Humiliated, Gwen risked a glance over at the shot glass, but he seemed to be the only one who had turned back, though she couldn’t help but think that a proud smile tugged at his lips.
She would give just about anything for her pajamas and a romantic comedy right about now. She contemplated slipping out of line and heading back to her room, but she’d have to clear it with Marie first because she didn’t want to just leave her friend in such a big crowd of strangers, so instead, she stayed the course with plans of making a hasty retreat right after.
As the EDM pulsed across the party deck and the palm trees shimmied overhead in the steady sea breeze, the lines dwindled quicker than she ever expected.
And of course, it was becoming abundantly clear that, short of someone passing out or running off at the last possible second, Gwen was going to be lapping tequila from the navel of the pretty boy with the prettier smile.
When there was just one couple left ahead of them, she thought about offering her spot to the nice girl behind her as a thank you. The ponytailed babe behind the pretty boy sported a crop top and a great set of abs, so technically, it would still be fun for Gwen without the creeping dread, but before she could ask the girl behind her to switch places, she heard the call from the bottle girl.
“Next!”
With a lump in her throat, Gwen approached the table alongside the man in the black shirt. He nodded to the girl behind the table and then to Gwen.
“Hey.”
“H-hey,” she said.
The bottle girl continued all business as she had that night, though she did offer the man a smile she did not offer Gwen.
While she paid for her shot, he climbed onto the bar counter easily and shimmied himself into the most comfortable position the hardwood would allow.
Everyone waited for the hem of his shirt to reveal his stomach, but it didn’t. Instead, he looked to Gwen.
“You want it, you have to do it,” he said with a toothy grin as his eyes flicked to his clothed torso.
Gwen glared at his stomach and then at his face. “Excuse me?”
He laughed and waved in surrender. “I’m kidding, just kidding!”
But it was now patently clear he knew he’d been the reason she’d stumbled, and she wasn’t going to let him halt her momentum.
You are here for fun.
Finally, the attendant grew too annoyed to keep her mouth shut and griped, “If you’re not going to take the shot, I have to—”
“Okay, okay, I’m doing it,” Gwen insisted, though she’d meant it more for her shot glass than her bartender.
With a glower at the long man stretched out before her, she pushed his shoulder back so he flattened out on the table, the grin still playing at his luscious lips finally disappearing with her determination. Her fingers curled around the hem of the t-shirt resting far too near the apex of his thighs, and, slowly, she pushed it up his abdomen. She could have just yanked it up, but she wanted to punish him for his teasing as much as she wanted to savor the reveal, so she let her palm drag across the yielding skin of his stomach.
A swath of flawless flesh appeared beneath her, tensing instinctively along the path her hand had set. Like the rest of his features, it was soft and inviting. He didn’t have washboard abs like many of the men who’d showcased on the table already; instead, she found a narrow waist flaring broader and broader the higher she pushed the shirt up his chest. His freshly tanned skin featured the gentlest dips and smoothest waves of skin she’d ever seen. His navel was delicate, cute even, though she’d never considered a bellybutton particularly cute before. All of it made Gwen’s throat feel far too dry.
The bottle girl didn’t even try to hide the way she chewed her own lip, but she poured a shot of crystalline liquid into the appetizing little divot anyway. Gwen’s shot glass laughed, borderline giggled, at the sensation, sending a slender river of booze cascading over his naked waistline.
“Cold,” he confessed.
“You’re up,” the bottle girl said to Gwen with a bitterness she also didn’t try to hide.
Gwen nodded and stole a quick glance at the man’s face. He’d propped his head on his hands now so he could watch the show and grinned so hard she expected his laugh to follow any second.
Her brow wrinkled. If he was going to play games with her, then she could damn well return the favor. Gwen splayed her hand at the hem of his jeans, her fingers spread between the contrast of silken flesh and harsh denim. She bent over and pressed her bottom lip into the pouch of skin at the edge of his navel and closed her top lip around it to form a seal. She sucked quickly, a little of his skin suctioning between her lips.
The man gasped, and his hand clasped reflexively to the back of her head as she drained the last of the liquor from his navel. The urge to kiss his tummy overwhelmed, but Gwen fought it off, though she couldn’t quite stand up with his hand still in her hair. Instead, she rolled her head to the side and caught his eye. The motion surprised him, and he yanked his hand back.
Gwen stood up and licked every honeyed droplet of booze from her lips. He tried to sit up, too, but distracted by the trail of her tongue, his hand slipped in an errant splash, and he fell back onto his elbows. It was her turn to savor a proud smile.
“One more?” asked Gwen hopefully.
He didn’t hesitate. “Okay, sure.”
“Another shot please,” she said to the bottle girl, thrusting out her card.
“Sure,” said the other woman with a well-practiced smile. “See you shortly.”
“What?”
“You can buy another shot, but you’ve got to hop back in line.”
“But we’re already here?” Gwen noted with a poignant look at the man’s exposed stomach.
“Not how it works, sweetie. See you in a bit. Next!”
With a resigned sigh, Gwen rejoined the crowd. There was only a slim hope of being paired up with the same guy again, but not knowing what else to do, she followed the snaking line to the end only to notice the man was nowhere to be found.
Gwen looked for Marie, but the crowd had swelled as the night had worn on, and she couldn't find her friend anywhere. No doubt, the girl was twirling in some random hot guy’s arms somewhere in the thicket of dancers at the other end of the concourse, but Gwen didn’t really feel like braving all those sweaty bodies.
You are here for fun.
It had been fun, she realized, but it was so short-lived that now that it was over, she also realized how little fun the rest of the night had been in comparison. Rather than spoil Marie’s good time, too, Gwen made her way to a poolside recliner and sat down to people-watch.
There were hundreds of beautiful people here, not that that was a surprise; short of some place like Los Angeles, she wasn’t sure where there was a more concentrated percentage of objective hotness. Everyone rocked a beach-ready body, many still clad in their actual swimsuits, and thanks to the tropical air, they all smelled of a perfume of sunscreen, booze, and sweat. Laughter and cheers crescendoed around her as drinks were downed and the music pumped up. Tiny asses nestled in gyrating groins as limbs snaked up and down strangers’ bodies.
But as much as there was to see, the truth was the one person Gwen wanted to watch was gone.
Another ten minutes or so had passed with her eyes firmly fixed on the body shot lines, but her shot glass never reappeared, and she found herself so painfully far from the “fun” she was supposed to be having that when a new guy sat down beside her and started to chat, she decided to invent a new backstory of her own considering Marie had banned her from inventing them for bachelors she’d met.
“I only found out mid-way through the pregnancy that my cousin was having my fiancé’s baby. So I said ‘screw them all,’ packed my shit, and drove straight down here to start having some of my own fun for once,” proclaimed Gwen with a whip and toss of her hair over her shoulder.
“Heavy,” said the bearded man with a smug, approving nod next to her, and she snickered to herself at the anticipatory predatory flash in his eyes.
But her fun at the stranger’s expense was also short-lived when she heard over her shoulder, “That’s some story.”
Gwen swiveled on her chaise to find the lithe stranger from the body shot line holding a mostly empty bottle of tequila with a spout already stuffed in its neck.
“Oh, hey,” she fumbled. “You’re still here.”
“I am.”
An awkward silenced stretched between them as she scrambled to figure out which version of herself she was supposed to be presenting.
Miraculously, the bearded man saved her at the last second. “Is this your friend?”
“Best friend actually,” said her former shot glass, “here to make sure she has all the fun she wants.”
Knowing his window had closed, the bearded man nodded and faded back into the crowd without so much as a wave goodbye, not that Gwen had room to spare another second for him now that pretty boy had returned.
“Was any of that story true?” her handsome stranger asked.
Gwen shrugged. “The having fun part is true enough. The rest might have been part of said fun.”
He smiled gently, his cheeks two kissable meringues as he added, “Sorry about before.”
“For what?”
His eyes cast down her leggings to her feet. “Is your ankle okay?”
“Oh.” Gwen wrinkled her nose and protested weakly, “Hey, that wasn’t you, you know.”
“No, of course not.”
“It was these stupid heels. I’m more of a sandals girl. I’m just not used to wearing them.”
He nodded though he was clearly suppressing a laugh. “I see. So I’m off the hook?”
Gwen cocked her head in mock consideration as she eyed the bottle in his silver-clad hand. “That depends. How are you going to make up for exposing a very tragic girl after she thought she’d gotten away with it?”
One of those rings clanked emphatically against the glass, ringing even above the club music. “What about offering a second shot like you wanted?”
He waggled the bottle for effect, the liquid inside splintering the pulsing lights.
Gwen squinted at him. “How did you…?”
He brought his finger to his lips and bent down to her ear. Thanks to the blaring music, even this close, he nearly had to shout, “I stole it.”
“What a rebel.”
“Yeah, well, I’m really motivated.”
“Uh, okay, sure. I guess that’s fair.”
“Good, because I’m all about fair. Come on. I’ll find us somewhere where you can take it.”
The innuendo simmered between them until Gwen’s thirst had expanded beyond the restraints of mere drink.
“There’s a lounger right here?” she suggested as she looked at the chaise, but he shook his head.
“That would draw to much attention. I’m a rebel and thief now, remember?”
“Oh, yeah, of course. How could I forget?”
“Maybe we can head out to the beach, or,” the stranger hedged slowly, “I have a room upstairs if you want?”
His tone was matter-of-fact, considerate even, yet sin infused his bottomless brown eyes. It was a proposition Gwen had never considered. She was a fall-in-love not a fall-in-bed kind of girl.
But.
She was not going to fall in love on this trip, and she had never seen a man who looked like this one.
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she pretended to mull it over and shrugged a shoulder to sell the act, though there had only ever been one possible outcome the moment her eyes had met his.
“Maybe it’s better if we go upstairs… I mean, we don’t want them to lock you up and throw away the key.”
“I appreciate that,” he said with a smile that left little doubt how well he understood everything.
“Let me just make sure my friend is okay with it.”
He nodded, unfazed. “I’ll do the same.”
Both of them pulled out their phones, and Gwen sent a quick message to Marie.
Tumblr media
When Gwen put away her phone, she found the man waiting with an expectant, squishy grin on his face.
“Is your friend all good?” he asked.
“All good. What about yours?”
He motioned through the crowd back toward the hotel, and as they walked, he said, “They’re all good. Turns out they all knew already. The friend who helped me distract the bartender told the rest of them anyway, which I should have figured, I guess.”
Gwen perked an eyebrow. “They knew when I didn’t, huh? You’re not just a rebel, but a cocky rebel.”
Her companion laughed and rubbed the back of his head in his chagrin. “Maybe I’m just more of a hopeful rebel. Or a lucky one seeing as I almost lost my chance.”
She laughed now, too. “Who? That guy? No way. I think I was just amusing myself since I was bored.”
“Bored? Here, I half-expected I’d find you back in the body shot line.”
“Well, I whole-hoped I’d find you back in it, too, but since you weren’t there, that poor guy had to hear a story I’m pretty sure I stole from a soap opera.”
Her companion smirked. “I guess that makes you a rebel and a thief, too.”
“I guess so.”
They chatted easily across the busy pool deck and all through the lobby, but the second the elevator doors closed them in alone together, the conversation clotted up. It was a long and mortifyingly unbroken trip to the twenty-second floor, and the only sounds were the shush-shush of the elevator and the dull thunk of the bottle as he tapped it against his thigh.
Suddenly, he cleared his throat. “Uh, kind of embarrassed to admit this, but it occurs to me I don’t know your name. I’m—”
“You know, let’s keep it that way for now, okay?” Gwen interrupted with a tight smile.
“Huh? Oh, sure, sure…” he agreed though he couldn’t have looked more floored.
“It's nothing personal. Actually, that’s sort of the point. I have a tendency to get carried away. It’s a long, boring story, ha. And a lot less colorful than my made-up ones.”
“I'm a good listener.”
“Yeah,” she said solemnly, “I can tell that about you. Which is definitely why I need to keep things firmly in the here and now.”
“Live in the moment, I can get behind that.”
“Cool.” Gwen turned hesitantly to him just as the doors to the elevator split wide. “So, is that okay with you? Because if it’s not, we’ll just toast to this super awkward elevator ride.”
The man motioned for her to go ahead of him into the hallway before he added, “I’m not the kind of guy to turn back.”
I can tell that, too… she thought resignedly.
He led Gwen down the chic hallway to his room, where she stopped short and pulled out her phone.
Tumblr media
“What’s up?” he asked.
“Just letting my friend know where I am.”
“That's smart,” he said with a nod. “I’m on notice now, huh?”
“You got that right, buddy.”
They shared a laugh, and again, Gwen was struck by how brightly the man’s face glowed and how engaging his laugh was. Another thought popped into her head just then.
“Speaking of...” she started as she raised her camera. “Smile?”
Without a trace of surprise or curiosity, he did, and it was so blinding, it threw off the exposure in her phone, which gave Gwen the perfect excuse to snap a few more.
“How did my mugshot come out?” he asked and craned his neck to steal a peek.
“You’re a matter of public record now, sir. But I imagine it will be the first mugshot to grace the cover of Vogue.”
“Nice.”
She stashed her phone without hitting send, with a small grin for her white lie. For some reason, Gwen couldn't bring herself to share him. But he didn't need to know that.
Meanwhile, the man fished his key card out of his too-tight jean pocket and ushered her inside. He took off his shoes as soon as he walked in, much to her relief, since it meant she could finally get out of her damn heels. When she looked back up, she was at a loss.
“Shit…”
His head whipped toward her, eyebrows pinched with concern. “Everything okay?”
“I mean… Your room is so much nicer than mine.”
He clutched his heart in mock relief before he said, “What’s your room like?”
“Not like this. Small and bayside. You have a balcony!”
“Oh, uh, yeah. It’s my friend’s bachelor party this weekend, so we all kind of went all out, I guess. You want to go out?”
“Hell yeah, I do!” Gwen squealed. She made a bee line past the enormous bed and whisked open the door.
The wind was stiffer twenty-two floors up, and it bombarded her skin, fresh and salty and a little sticky but uplifting. She breathed in deeply, a smile splitting her face. The half-moon shimmied across the Atlantic swells in time with the electronic beats filtering up from the party at the pool below. She couldn’t help herself—she waved at the partygoers even though they were far too small to see much this high up.
“Aw,” her companion said sweetly. “Waving to your friend?”
“Yeah,” replied Gwen with a blush. “Not that she’ll see me.”
He joined her in leaning on the railing and waving at his friends, too. When he looked back up, his smile shifted slightly, less silly and a lot sultrier. She cleared her throat lightly and headed back inside.
With her back to the huge bay windows, Gwen could finally take in the rest of the room. It was modern and cloaked in the same jeweled beach tones of her own, but it was much more spacious, with a desk and a sofa plus a pair of chairs, while, to the left behind a half-wall, the enormous bed stretched out beneath a large padded headboard.
With a tiny yelp, her companion scrambled over in a hurry to straighten the still-crumpled covers and even out the pillows.
“Sorry,” he mumbled as he worked, “I wasn’t expecting company.”
“It’s fine. It’s not like I make my bed on vacation. Or ever really.”
Gwen meant it, but that didn’t mean she could shake the undeniably sexy implication of those tossed sheet or the image of this beautiful man stretched out naked and languid in them.
Still, he dressed the bed as quickly as he could and turned around with a flushed face. Again, he mumbled, “Sorry.”
“No worries. Hey, do you care if I use your bathroom?”
“Sure, it’s right around there,” he replied, gesturing toward the other side of the bed.
It was really just an excuse to see how much fancier it was than her own, and it did not disappoint. Instead of just a shower stall, there was a huge walk-in surrounded by glass, and instantly, images of fogged windows with desperate hand smears flitted across her mind. Just around the corner was a deep jacuzzi tub that conjured just as many filthy thoughts.
This was progress, Gwen thought. Her libido was on overdrive, which meant she could safely put her heart in the backseat. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her waves had regrettably frizzed, and she’d sweated out a fair bit of makeup, but it did make her skin glow, even under the harsh LED lighting. After a quick freshen-up and a primp to make her chest is best perky self, she returned to find the man waiting in front of the main window, adjusting the tuck of his tee in his tiny waistline.
There was just something about him—his every gesture was sweet and sincere, completely without artifice. And just like that, her heart was threatening a comeback.
You are here for fun.
Gwen shuffled in with a short wave. “I think your bathroom might be as big as my hotel room.”
He grinned. “I think it’s bigger than my apartment honestly.”
“You mean you don’t live like a high roller every day?”
“Actually, I moonlight as a broke New Yorker.”
Oh shit, he’s not far from you, Gwennie…
“You’re ruining my fantasy of the millionaire playboy in town for a big business deal.”
“My apologies,” he joked with a bow.
“So, when’s the wedding?”
He cocked his head, and it was painfully cute. “The what?”
“Your friend’s wedding.”
“Oh, next month.”
“And the groom’s not going to be mad that you’ve abandoned him?”
The man smirked. “On the contrary. Pretty sure he’s looking for any excuse to get rid of me.”
“You really are public enemy number one, huh?”
“Oh, yeah, undisputed.”
As they came down from their laughter, Gwen realized how close they were standing. This close, those lips loomed like a full moon, and she basked in their plumpness. The heat between them brought the intoxicating tendrils of his cologne forward, a fresh brightness that matched his smile, though it occurred to her he may have stolen a moment to reapply it while she’d been in the bathroom. The thought made her swallow hard.
“You’re easy to talk to,” he confessed abruptly, and Gwen tensed all over.
You are here for fun.
“Even though we haven’t really talked about anything?” she retorted.
He shrugged one thick shoulder. “Maybe that’s why. I’m kind of a wallflower at parties. I mean, that whole body shot thing was just a dare from my friends anyway.”
“Mine was like that, too!” she blurted and immediately regretted it, the way he seemed to soften all over. It wasn’t just how gentle his already-round features looked, but he relaxed against the desk into a cool lean as his usually petal-shaped eyes widened with interest.
No backstories, Gwennie, she scolded herself. Put that distance between your heart and your lady parts!
“So that’s how it happens, huh?” she continued in a sultrier voice as her finger stroked the neck of the bottle. “You do one dare, and now, you’re a full-blown criminal mastermind?”
His voice had dropped, too, along with his eyelids. “Looks that way.”
“Are you a liar, too?”
“No! What?”
She chuckled and waved the bottle between them. “What about my second shot?”
“Oh, you were serious?”
Gwen gaped at him. “Aren’t you the one who stole the tequila?”
“That was just so I had an excuse to talk to you again.”
Oh no… He was painfully, unforgivably, patently cute. Gwen could practically hear Marie threatening to leave her in Florida.
“Ah,” she said to deflect, “so you did lure me here with empty promises.”
“No! I—"
“I’m teasing,” she assured, and as she studied his saucer eyes, she risked resting a hand on his bicep, which she had to stop herself from just straight up groping when she felt the twitching muscle beneath.
“Sorry,” he said. “I just… I never do stuff like this.”
“Like what? We haven’t done anything.” He looked helplessly at her, and Gwen chuckled again. “Sorry, still teasing. When I'm awkward, I make awkward jokes. I've never done anything like this either.”
“Like what?” he echoed, and they shared a tight smile, but it vanished when he looked at her much softer this time. “Seriously, I don't expect anything.”
You can't catch feelings sucking tequila out of a stranger's bellybutton…
“I know, but I do.” Gwen swished the bottle back and forth, and he offered what she could only type as a giggle.
“You’re right, you’re right. So, um, how do you want to…?”
He spun in a circle until he nearly made himself dizzy, and she grabbed his shoulders to steady him.
“Maybe, um, you should just lay on the bed?” she suggested.
“Oh. Yeah, that makes sense. So, I’ll just…”
“Get on the bed?”
“Get on the bed, yeah,” he repeated. The man spared a quick moment to smooth his shirt over his chest and run a hand back through his thick black hair, which had the most fatal way of feathering back across his forehead in a very regrettable heart shape.
Since the moment she’d met him, the man had possessed a magnetism that had set him apart from all the other hot people at the party, but here in his room, he was borderline pathetic, tromping around like a lost giraffe between the living room and the bed as he emptied his pockets between the desk and the bedside table. When, at last, he was ready, he walked to the foot of the bed and plopped down. He looked back at Gwen with a sheepish grin and comically high eyebrows.
“Ready?” she asked as she raised the bottle.
“If you are.”
She nodded and followed into the bedroom, and the air shifted. In here, it was hotter and even more humid than down at the beach but without the benefit of a breeze.
He sat down at the edge of the bed, and Gwen crawled on the bed beside him. She strategized on how to best take her shot, and while she positioned herself, her knees pressed into the mattress as she sat up, he untucked his shirt and raised it himself.
At the party, body shots had been a game. Here, it was foreplay. Judging from the blackness in his eyes, he knew it, too. He laid back and propped up just a bit on his elbows, which cupped his stomach just the right amount into the sweetest little bowl.
“It’s different,” he murmured.
“Yeah, it is,” she whispered, too, because somehow every thing, every word, felt very loud. “I can take my time now.”
He didn’t say anything. He just waited.
Gwen lifted the bottle, and, as carefully as she could, she tipped it until a golden thread puddled at his belly. He didn’t flinch this time. Instead, he sucked in a breath which deepened the cup at his navel, and she was only too happy to fill it to its tasty brim.
“Perfect,” she said as she set the bottle on the floor. “Don’t move.”
She braced her hands on his thigh and his ribcage and bent forward. Her lips glossed the velvety skin there before she opened her mouth and sucked up the sweet, smooth liquor all too quickly. This time, though, she spared a moment to dip her tongue into the divot, and this made the man beneath her hiss.
She licked her lips and ventured a look up his heaving torso to find him totally expressionless save for his overblown pupils.
“Satisfied?” he asked in a voice swollen with the same darkness.
Gwen shook her head lightly. “Still thirsty.”
But she did not reach for the bottle. Instead, she put her lips to his stomach and sampled a new patch of skin. It yielded beneath her, and so did he. He let out a low groan that tightened the muscles under her lips.
Another kiss led to another and then one more as she nipped and nibbled at the tender flesh. There was something about the man that was simply and undeniably edible, and no matter how much she tasted, she could not get enough. Gwen helped herself all the way up to the delicious flare of his rib cage, and at the swell there, she risked a swirl of her tongue. His head snapped up as he panted out a heavy pair of breaths.
“You're driving me crazy,” he said with a slanted smile.
“I could say the same,” she agreed, and when she brought attention back to his stomach, she noticed a lonely freckle at his hip. Her lips raced to devour it, this time adding a graze of her teeth. He jolted.
“That tickles!” he exclaimed though it was followed by another groan.
Gwen responded with another twirl of her tongue to savor the salt on his skin, and the groan became an outright moan. Emboldened by each grateful sound, her hand slid slowly up his thigh, and soon, it bumped a rigid hill smothered by tight denim.
At the first graze, he jolted again but followed it with a simmering hiss as his hips bucked reflexively into her hand. His eagerness was going to Gwen’s head. She wanted more of his pretty moans. She wanted more of his pretty body.
Her hand moved more brazenly to stroke the outline of the intensifying hardness, but this time, she was the one moaning at the way his bulge filled her palm. Her forehead pressed into that gentle stomach as she rested her lips lazily at his hip bone. Meanwhile, her fingertips traveled up the zipper to the waist of his jeans and swept back and forth before her thumb centered over the button there.
“What are you doing?” he whispered.
Gwen kissed his hip again before she answered, “You told me if I wanted it, I had to do it.”
“Ah, I said that, didn't I?”
“You did. And I want it.”
He sat up higher now, expectation on his face. He drew his lush bottom lip between his teeth, and that alone set Gwen’s blood aflame.
Without another thought, she placed a garland of kisses along the waist of his jeans, and when she undid the button there, her lips raced to taste the secret skin she’d exposed. Dimly, she realized she was getting too carried away on a chance encounter, but she couldn't stop.
She couldn’t stop.
The further her mouth charted down the open zipper track, the more powerful her desire grew. She smelled his cologne here, too, bright like the tropical air but deepening down to dark woods on a second, greedier inhale. And beneath all that was the smell of him.
Too hungry now, Gwen hooked her hands in his jeans and tugged down. He lifted his hips with zero hesitation, and soon enough, she had full access to all that she desired. She swept her hand over the black fabric still sheltering him and felt him lurch. She hummed.
Slowly, she peeled down the hem of his boxer briefs, and his cock sprung up gratefully. Above her, her pretty boy exhaled hard, which only grew raspier as her skin touched his rawness at last.
Gwen’s romantic heart had drawn her to a number of beds over the years, and she’d enjoyed some decent sex in that time, but even without entering her, she knew this man was special. All his skin had been babied, but here, he was silkiest, like satin over marble. One touch was enough to fuel an addiction that sent a blaring alarm of dread to the back of her mind that she might never touch another cock that felt like it was made just to please her.
She danced her fingertips down his wickedly hard length until she got to his base, where she squeezed appreciatively. He hissed and hummed and arched his back before he mumbled something low and deep that she wished she could make out because just the echo of its echo sounded devastating.
Gwen didn’t intend to take things so leisurely—she knew she shouldn’t be—but it seemed foolish to fast forward through what had to be the sexiest man she’d ever met. Her friend’s rules be damned, she was going to enjoy every second for as long as she could make it last.
He was watching her, open-mouthed, as she held him. Their eyes met. Her breath caught.
Gwen wet her lips and pressed them to his hot, red tip and let her tongue curl into the smooth channel underneath. Her beautiful stranger let out the raspiest groan as his face disappeared from her view to sag under the weight of pleasure.
Spurred on, she invited him into her mouth now, shallow at first, but a little greedier with each pass until she could take what she could of him to the back of her throat. When she was comfortable, she found the perfect rhythm to have him singing for her with every eager suck.
And he was so noisy. It wasn’t filthy words or heaps of degradation like she’d heard plenty of times before. Between his moans and the grunts and the achy sighs, Gwen realized she’d never been with a man who had appreciated her more. It was filling her up with not just pride but confidence, and it made her want to ruin him even further.
His hand came to rest on the back of her head, but she quickly plucked it aside and pressed it into the mattress. For the briefest of moments, she released him to mumble, “Stay still.”
His shaky “okay” made her chest feel swimmy, and, instead, he balled two handfuls of sheets. But the man couldn’t help himself. Though he was hanging onto the bed with white knuckles, his hips took to lifting from the mattress, and she had to force them back down, too. She knew with just a little more speed and the addition of a helpful hand, she would get him off in no time, but she was having so much fun.
It didn’t hurt that all his whining was getting her off, too, even without a single touch. Gwen couldn’t remember a time she’d been so wet or so turned on.
Again, the stranger moaned, but this time, he added with a thick rasp, “You’re incredible. You might be my dream girl.”
It was her turn to whimper, but the vibrations traveled not just through her body and straight to her throbbing clit, but they also traveled down his length in a circuit of pleasure. He sucked in a harsh breath through gritted teeth as his legs tensed and struggled in the confines of the jeans still cuffing his knees.
“Can I—” he said before another grunt cut him off. “Wait. Can I just—fuck—can we take these pants off? I want to feel more of you.”
Gwen startled. She sat up on the bed and watched, numb with anticipation, as the man practically had to peel off his skinny jeans. He worked as quickly as he could, but it afforded her a flash of an ass as cute and smooth as his stomach and legs as long and delicate as his fingers. When he sat back down at the edge of the bed, he pulled off his shirt, too.
When she came to his room, Gwen hadn’t really known what to expect. It was clear they would end up in bed, but, for some reason, she never expected them to be fully naked. Now that things had taken a much more intimate turn, the casual momentum she had built quickly siphoned away.
This time, he didn’t lay back.
Here, he sat—breathless, naked, gripping his glistening cock, and staring hopefully at her.
“I’d really like to see you, too,” he asked.
As soon as he voiced his throaty wish, a fresh torrent of lust leaked between her pressed thighs. If she had worn the minidress Marie had pitched, there would have been no hiding it.
Gwen wanted to be coy or funny or anything other than tragically eager for this man, but how could she say no to such hopeful eyes and freckled lips?
With a red face and sweaty hands, she slipped out of her shirt, leaving her in her bra and leggings. She’d been wearing the same damn burgundy lace piece for two years, but now her hands were shaking so badly that she couldn’t undo the last clasp she’d put on hundreds of times.
He smiled knowingly and leaned in to wrap his arms around her. It only took him a moment to rescue her, but in his arms, time had stopped. Skin to skin changed everything. Gwen was spiraling, and the only way to make it stop was to steer into her tailspin.
Their lips met not in a clatter, but gently and with curiosity. Even at first brush, the way his puffy top lip notched into the crease of her lips felt like habit, like it had been there many times before and should return countless more times.
His hands cupped her cheeks briefly before they slid back in tandem to tangle in her disheveled waves. Only then, as he held her fiercely, did his tongue slip into her mouth to their shared whimper. One of his hands glided from her hair, down the back of her neck and over her shoulder, fingertips dancing like raindrops with the same biting chill thanks to the metal at his knuckles. He traced the side of her breast and then its underside all while his lips meshed with hers and his tongue curled deliciously against the roof of her mouth.
Trapped in the riptide of the moment, Gwen reached for him, too. His skin was just as soft at his neck and shoulders as it was at his waist, and she couldn’t stop stroking every inch she could access. He was only too happy to encourage her touches, even going so far to redirect her hand from his ribs to his hair like he wanted her to pet him. She let out a needy sigh that his mouth immediately gobbled up.
It wasn’t a surprise that the man was an attentive kisser. What surprised Gwen was how much she felt in the kiss. He was pouring something into her even as he seemed to drink from her, and she didn’t want it to stop.
She didn’t want it to ever stop.
You are here for fun.
Marie’s voice in the back of Gwen’s head was the ice water the blonde needed to disentangle from her beautiful stranger. Because that was all he was.
A beautiful stranger.
Gwen pulled back. He blinked slowly at her, but she kissed his flushed lips briefly to soften the transition. The hand of hers he’d placed in his hair drifted down his arm to his thigh, and whatever emotion had knitted his brows a moment ago corrupted. With a gnaw of her bottom lip, she slipped off the bed to the floor. His eyes followed.
He didn’t ask Gwen to kneel between his legs, but he didn’t have to. She was getting good at telling exactly what he’d like best—far too good at it.
His thighs were much creamier than the Florida caramel that warmed the rest of him, and as she shuffled into position between them, her hands worked higher and higher up their breadth. His knees tightened at her shoulders. Now that she was shirtless, she had no defense against the zaps of electricity that came with each stolen moment of raw contact.
His cock strained between his hips, the head shiny with lust and the veins pulsing along its length. Gwen gripped his hilt and stroked a few times, and he sighed in relief.
Now that he was sitting up, their dynamic swapped. He loomed over her. Shadows darkened what had always been a bright face. His enormous hands braced at the edge of the bed, firing prominent veins along his forearms. His shoulders corded with heavy muscle previously concealed by his round edges. The planes of his stomach creased as he bent over her. He wasn’t about to neglect even a second of his front row seat.
Gwen brought her lips back to his member and picked right back up where she’d left off, only this time she was noisier. Wet slurps and hungry hums echoed up from between his legs, and with each one, he got a little louder, too.
This time when his massive hand curled around the back of her head, Gwen reveled in it. His nails scratched deliciously against her scalp as he threaded her hair through those elegant fingers and tugged mindlessly. She was grateful she’d forgotten to strip off her leggings or she would have been dripping shamelessly on the carpet.
At last, she picked up speed, so she closed her eyes and concentrated on her seal around his demanding thickness. Her lips chased her fist up and down his shaft so he was never without a moment of her full attention.
The messier she savored him, the more urgent his whines got and the more he bucked underneath her. The hand in her hair was now a fist full of a makeshift ponytail. Mouth full, she raised her eyes to his face. A swirl of her tongue around his tip was all it took to rip a cry from his hunkered chest.
“Wait, wait, wait!” he demanded and pushed her shoulders back. “Wow, okay, you have to stop. I’m going to cum.”
“That’s the idea,” Gwen replied as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.
But the man shook his head. “I want to make this last, and I definitely don’t want to disappoint you.”
“You’re not.”
“Good… Good.”
A pregnant silence fell between them. Both of them considered where to direct the needle of their night next, but he was faster.
“You know, the view from up here really is something,” he said.
“Ha ha,” Gwen said drily, but the earnest look on his face knocked her sarcasm down a few pegs.
“Come up and see.”
He offered both his hands, and once she took them, he helped her up to the edge of the bed. When she was seated beside him again, he kissed her sweetly.
When he stopped, his forehead rocked against hers, and her eyes fluttered open.
“I really want to taste you,” he confessed in a whisper.
Gwen swallowed hard.
“You do?”
“Desperately.”
“It’s just—” she fumbled, painfully aware of the panic in her voice.
“You don’t want me to?”
She didn’t know how to explain herself without pitiful embarrassment. Most of the men Gwen had dated were keen for a blowjob but always had a dozen reasons to move things along right after. Over time, it had given her a heavy insecurity, which Marie had always assured her was utter bullshit, yet still it persisted. Gwen didn’t think she could recover from someone this desirable rejecting her, even if he was a total stranger.
“No, I mean, yeah, if you really want,” she blundered, “but… it’s just—”
She bit her lip, and he cocked his head patiently. His hand squeezed her knee, and the words came tumbling out of her mouth.
“I’m kind of a mess down there.”
“Yeah?” he said hopefully—to her complete and utter shock. “Come on, you can’t tease me like that. Now, I have to taste you.”
“What if— It might take me awhile,” she admitted from behind her hands.
Gently, he lowered them from her face to her lap, where he held them like a friend, though his hooded eyes and honeyed voice told a very different story.
“I hope it does.”
Gwen gasped and closed her eyes to steady herself. “What about you?”
He laughed. “This is about me.”
The best she could manage was a slow nod, but that was all the stranger needed.
He dropped to his knees on the floor and spread her legs enough to rub his huge palms up her thighs and back down again. The more he soothed her, the more her legs parted on their own so he could sit taller—and closer—between them. On the next sweep up, his hands lingered at the crest of her thighs so his thumbs could stroke over her swollen sex still imprisoned in her leggings.
“Feel good?” he asked.
“So good,” she replied as she collapsed onto the mattress and threw an arm over her eyes.
“Good. You can watch if you want, you know.”
“Yeah, I’m not sure I’d recover from something like that. You’re, like, the hottest guy I’ve ever seen as it is. That might actually ruin me for life.”
He chuckled, but it was tainted with pride. “Maybe that’s the idea.”
Gwen shot up to her elbows to argue, but that was the exact moment the man wriggled his slender fingers under her waistband and then her underwear to peel them both off. Cold air attacked her core, and though it was a relief to finally be free of her sticky prison, she was unprepared for the pad of his finger to graze over the seam of her lips. She shivered and whined.
He hummed. “You’re really feeding my ego here, sweetheart.”
His thumbs resumed the same stroke as before, but since it was over her bare lips this time, the intensity amplified exponentially. Each wave parted her folds a bit, and there was no escaping the knowledge that her arousal leaked heavily every time.
“What a pretty sight,” he murmured.
Foolishly, Gwen stole a look at the man, and the image of his keen eyes fixed on her wet cunt branded her brain just as she’d feared. She whimpered, zipping her bottom lip between her teeth to near shreds as he played with her.
She felt the first brush of his lips against her not in the careless rush of an obligation but as a leisurely kiss of a seasoned lover. There, his mouth lingered only to part for his purposeful tongue. He licked up along her seam once—twice—and on the third pass, his fingers parted her core wide. The exposure had her keening mindlessly, but when his tongue swiped through the secret skin, she cried at the top of her lungs. Her arm pressed over her eyes hard enough to create starbursts behind her lids while her other arm pressed over her mouth.
For just a moment, he pulled back. Another burst of cool air blasted her core as he hummed again, this time dreamily. “Perfect.”
He kissed the meat of her thigh once, and then drove on heedlessly. He teased her entrance for a moment before he swirled that wicked tongue around her clit with a mind-numbing rhythm. Through all of it, Gwen sank deeper into pleasure. As vocal as he had been, she managed to outdo him even with her makeshift gag. It was completely mortifying but also completely out of her control.
He didn’t try to stop her writhing or her moaning. Instead, he used them both to his advantage. Whenever she squirmed, he chased, and it made the promise of release a near certainty.
It was incredible. It was terrifying.
It shouldn’t be this easy. It had never been this easy before.
Gwen felt the blossom of his lips nibbling at her aching clit, and before she could brace herself, he’d taken her in his mouth. It wasn’t just his delicious suction that made her lungs seize but the way his tongue undulated across her eager bud.
And then he pressed a fingertip to her entrance.
Gwen’s hands flew to the sheets and dug into the mattress. Her head snapped up as she screamed, “Oh my god!”
Her eyes flew open. He was waiting.
Damn heart-shaped hair and damn heavy eyes stole what was left of her sanity right before he eased his finger inside her.
At least the unprecedented bliss gave Gwen the small mercy of forcing her flat to the bed. Her back arched, her nipples tightened, and her voice gave out. The only thing she could do was pant like some unbound creature.
His fingers were so long—world-record long, she thought drunkenly—and they explored parts of her she’d never even known were there. He didn’t race through her either, but primed her the same as she’d primed him, the devil. In only a matter of a few plunges, he knew her in ways she’d never even known herself.
In and out, in and out, he pumped that perilously long finger, each stroke sealed with a kiss of metal and knuckle. Her body hungered louder and messier, worse even than she’d promised him. Her shameless pussy dribbled like it had never been touched before, and Gwen was very, very glad she could hide in the crook of her arm.
And then he added a second finger.
The stretch was vision-whitening, the depth dizzying, but still his tongue insisted on speeding her to her ledge. Even with her face covered, she turned away because looking at him was like risking looking into the sun.
“I’m going to— I’m going to—” she stammered.
His mouth lifted then, but before Gwen could protest, he brought his other fingers to her clit. There, he kept a thorough pace just shy of what she needed. No doubt, he knew it just as she had known it with him, but with the tables turned, it felt unexpectedly cruel.
As if to contradict that, he tenderly kissed her thigh, and basic instinct drove her to look at him.
He smiled at her, and, with grit in his voice, he asked, “You going to cum for me, beautiful?”
“Yes!” cried Gwen, shuddering on his fingers. “Yes, yes, yes!”
His fingers moved faster now, across her throbbing hill as well as inside her. Pressure like she’d never felt built between her hips. It was hard to breathe. It was hard to think.
And it all happened faster than she could ever have imagined.
She unwound.
Eyes winched shut, Gwen tore at the sheets as she arched, every muscle clamped in ecstasy, before everything released and she slumped glassy-eyed onto the mattress. Somewhere below her, she heard a little refrain of happy hums and dimly felt the slick circle of a tongue collecting all that she had released.
She panted as she came down from her high, her arm flung over her face once again, feeling everything and nothing all at once. As she worked to center herself, Gwen shivered.
“That was the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen,” said the stranger who was once again idly massaging her thighs, this time with the most delicious domesticity. “You kind of glow when you cum.”
“Oh, shut up!” she wailed as she curled into a ball.
“What? Sorry, but I mean it. You do this cute little thing with your toes, like a kitten paw.”
Gwen heard him pantomiming something in the sheets, but she was too busy cringing into another universe, one where she’d kept at least a little of her dignity. She burrowed her head deeper into her arms to fight back how endearing she found him.
“Hey,” he said with the sincerity of concern. “You okay?”
“Mm-hm.”
“You liked it, right?”
Gwen peeked out through a small window behind her arms and found the man seated beside her on the bed. He looked down at her with eyes no longer blackened exclusively by desire but softened with care. She bit her lip and lifted her head as she held his gaze.
A beat passed before she said, “I loved it.”
“Well then, if that’s the case…” he said softly.
He leaned down and kissed her as lightly as a feather brushing skin. When he pulled back, there was the sweet temptation of darkness tinting his eyes once more.
“Will you let me inside you?”
“Why did you have to say it like that?” whimpered Gwen as she flopped back onto the mattress.
“I’m sorry,” he said though he sounded anything but. “Is this better? Please let me fuck you.”
She hissed. “You’re a terrible, terrible man.”
“Yeah, but I’ll make you feel so good, and I did ask nicely.”
“You did…” she murmured as she leaned up.
Their lips barely had time to fully enmesh because he had to help guide her up to the pillows since the only thing she could manage for the moment was a beached fish, half-hearted wiggle.
If Gwen thought she’d have a moment to recover between heated kisses, she was dead wrong. He caged her in beneath him, his heavy cock thudding unmistakably against her mound as his body flattened against hers. Her legs spread instinctively. Perhaps she should have taken the many, many hints that she would never have any control over herself with this man, but the way her body simply opened for him was more than a little pathetic.
At first, she threaded both hands in his hair, and he groaned into her mouth, but every little thing he did made her restless for more. She kept a hand fixed in his hair while the other now squeezed and groped the length of his back. Even if she couldn’t see it at the moment, his shape drove her wild. Not only did his definition heat her hotter than she’d ever felt in her life, but, fully pressed against hers, his skin was as decadent as cashmere.
His member, on the other hand, was as heavy and demanding as a stone on her mound. Every time he rutted against her, the base of his shaft brushing her engorged folds, she lost a little more of her sanity. She could probably cum again just like this, completely empty and yet feeling so fulfilled.
They passed some time in each other’s mouths without further expectation, but the weightier his cock pressed, the more impossible it was to ignore her basest needs. As he’d been able to do all night, he read her easily.
Unwilling to leave her lips, he groped blindly at the nightstand until he’d found what he was looking for and had to break their kiss. He held up a condom, his eyebrows up on his sweet, swollen-lipped face with the unasked question.
“Forget it,” Gwen said with a huff. “We’ve already crossed the line, I’m on the pill, and I really just want to feel you.”
“Oh, shit, are you—” he said, but she cupped his cheeks and kissed him hungrily.
She was being stupid, but the fuck if she cared.
Gwen whimpered with every sweep of his tongue, but those gave way to hitching cries as his long fingers trailed from her cheek down her arm to her hip where they danced in unreadable designs across her flesh. It was so playful, so charming that her heart fluttered to a totally different rhythm than it had all night. And that was dangerous. She needed to move this along at last.
You are here for fun.
Her hips jerked beneath him, tilting up in a kiss far filthier and needier than even their mouths’, and he pulled back with a ragged hiss.
“You are so wet again,” he growled with a glance down between their bodies.
“I can’t help what you’re doing to me.”
He cocked his head to the side, looking handsomer than any man really had a right. “Yeah?”
“Yes…” she sighed. “You make me so desperate.”
She drove her hips up again, her overheated sex grazing his base once more. His eyes flared, and Gwen felt the urge to cower.
Suddenly, he grabbed her arm and pushed it above her head, pinning it there by her wrist.
Dimly, the bass from the music far below drummed through the walls, but it was little more than a backing track to their tattered breath.
His stare was more commanding, more powerful even than the hot-forged iron branding her just shy of her center.
“I—”
Despite how badly Gwen yearned to hear the rest, he let whatever thought it was simmer on the heavily perfumed air enveloping them. His eyes searched her, from his ring-clad hand clasping her wrist to her sweat-studded breasts and back, at last, to her parted mouth.
He dove back down to her lips with another growl while his other hand fumbled between their bodies. After a moment, his hips lifted, and she felt the blunt head of his cock at her entrance at last.
She needed air to calm her ragged nerves, but thief that he was, he stole everything from her with another nibble of her lips. As his tongue entered her mouth again, he pushed his length inside her walls.
Gwen tore from his kiss to unleash the reediest moan of her life.
“Oh fuck,” he grunted. “Did you feel that?”
She had no idea what he meant, which made it all the more dangerous because she knew exactly what she felt.
Everything.
Why did he have to kiss her just then?
Why did he have to fill her like he was the only one who should ever do it again?
You’re idealizing, Gwennie, she scrambled to remind her sex-saturated mind, but she couldn’t convince herself to stop even if she knew she was. This was a man who was every bit as perfect as her stupid romantic self wanted to believe.
All Gwen could do was moan and grasp the back of his head.
He followed the weight of her hand and pressed his face into the juncture of her neck to kiss her reverentially.
“Go slow,” she implored.
He hummed in agreement and eased his hips back to draw his length to its limit before gliding back in as though he were savoring her. The moment he bottomed out, her mouth fell open in a silent wail. Gwen had never felt so full.
“That’s it, sweetheart,” he murmured. “Open up for me.”
His voice penetrated as deeply as his cock and rendered her putty in his hands.
Each sweep of his hips was catastrophic, but it was even worse since his body smothered hers. It was too much and not enough all at once, and Gwen was glad she didn’t have use of her other hand or she’d have wrapped him up in her arms already.
She thought after the first few strokes that he’d pick up speed, but he seemed content to while away their night just like this. The only change to his smooth rhythm was the rough emphasis he added to his every thrust that drove the air out of her lungs each time. It was like he was trying to drive deeper and deeper and deeper inside of her.
Each penetration afforded her the sexiest view of the horizon of his body, and now that she was this far gone, she lifted her head so she wouldn't miss another moment. He moved with the grace of water, and the current threatened to drown her just as easily. The swell of his ass rose and fell over the heave of his back.
His whines and grunts came back with a vengeance, with the added mercilessness of being uttered along her skin. It was a devastating reminder that as much pleasure as she drew from him, he was just as greedy for her body, too.
“Need to fuck you harder,” he warned in a voice heavy with gravel. “I need to.”
“I want you to,” Gwen echoed.
If she thought this would be the reason he pulled back from this ridiculous intimacy, she was dead wrong. Instead, he stilled inside her as he lifted to his elbows, but it only brought his searing gaze to her. His enormous hand soared up to cup her cheek. His thumb traced her bottom lip before, at last, he planted his hand firmly on the mattress.
His first few thrusts stayed slow, but soon he gained speed and, with it, power. His hips slapped against hers, and each time, it sounded wetter and wetter, but it all should have been louder.
The difference was, now that they couldn’t tear their eyes away from one another, neither seemed capable of making a sound. It was all Gwen could do to remember to breathe.
Harder and harder, he drove into her until her tits were bouncing and each fuck pushed rhythmic, vibrating cries from her. Still, she could tell they were both holding something back from one another.
They knew the moment they ended, whatever this was had to end, too.
His luscious mouth parted. There were words there, half-formed, but those he held back, too, though she starved to know them.
The next thing Gwen knew, he released her wrist to push her knee up and back. The angle shifted, and she had no choice but to rip her eyes from his to watch as his cock disappeared inside her greedy cunt.
She let out a tattered moan before she hiccupped out, “So. Fucking. Good.”
“I want to be deeper,” he answered back.
Gwen’s eyes rolled back in her head. “You’re—ah—you’re already so deep.”
But he didn’t seem to hear her. He dropped to her chest again, his hips rutting truly desperately at last. He buried his face in her neck and his nose in her hair as his lips glanced across her skin in the unintentional kiss that came with every thrust.
“Deeper…” he murmured as though hypnotized.
“Oh my god!”
He hitched her thigh higher up his side so she could feel with devastating consequence the way his ribs flared with every frantic gulp of air.
“Wrap your leg around me,” he instructed.
Gwen dug her heel into the meat of his back, and he grunted, but it still wasn’t enough for him.
“Hold me tighter, please.”
As she’d feared, it was a mistake the moment she wrapped her arms around him. Strangers fucking didn’t embrace. Yet here she was, clinging on with the last of her sanity to his sturdy shoulder blades.
He smelled so good—like sex and summer—and it imprinted on her mind.
“So. Deep,” she stuttered.
The way he stretched her out clouded her mind until the only thing she could find through the fog was him.
How could he possess her so fully but make her so desperate for more of him?
Him.
“Give me your hand,” he demanded in a rush.
Gwen let one hand fall from his back to the bed, and he grabbed it quickly and pushed it up over her head again, only this time, his fingers threaded through hers and squeezed as tightly as her walls squeezed his shaft.
His thrusts switched to shorter, shallower, much faster now. Each time, his cockhead brushed over a spot inside her that robbed her of all sound and all thought. Just like that, he’d reduced her to nothing but quivering nerves and trembling muscles.
Gwen dug her nails roughly into his back same as she squeezed his hand and let him ride her for all she was worth.
Since his cheek pressed against hers, she heard his every grunt in relentless stereo. He was too needy, too desperate. It was only magnifying those same feelings inside her.
Her skin burned with sweat. Her eyes burned from squeezing them against the overwhelming pleasure. Her core burned from the friction of his perfect fucking.
He was panting in her ear, and she could feel the curl of his lip as he snarled.
Gwen moved her free hand into his hair as she clutched his head to her like a lover.
“Baby,” she cried, “baby, I’m going to cum again.”
He let out the most pitiful whine she’d ever heard in her life as his hips spurred even faster.
“Baby.”
The pull was there, starting at her chest and dragging her down.
Down.
Down.
“Give it to me,” he urged, the words nearly broken under the crushing weight of his desperation.
“Baby!”
This time when Gwen said it, it was a strangled little thing, the last breath of a woman before she disappeared beneath the waves.
It was different, cumming with his cock inside her instead of his fingers. Her walls frantically beckoned him to disappear within her, willing him to never leave. She shivered and shook and screamed with the power of a release she’d never thought herself capable.
He fucked her through it all, the smoky curl of his self-satisfied “yes…” unfurling across her skin.
And when at last Gwen had no more aftershocks to give, she laid there too limp to hold on to him at all. Her leg slipped to the bed and her hand from his hair and her fingers slackened in his, though he refused to let her go.
His strokes had grown erratic, each one accompanied by the sloppy sounds of her catastrophic release.
“Where do you want me to cum?” he said hurriedly.
Gwen knew what she wanted—what her body was demanding. She wanted him to fill her up. She wanted this perfectly handsome perfect stranger to cum deep inside her so she should could hold on to a little bit of him even after she walked out the door.
But this was the end—not just of their passionate sex but their time together. If she didn’t put distance between them right now, she was in for an even more terrible fall.
No feelings, just sex.
“My face,” she blurted.
Gwen regretted it instantly. That wasn’t what she wanted at all, and she braced for the humiliation she deserved.
But, instead, he pulled out with a strangled cry and came in the tangle of bed sheets beside him.
“I’m sorry,” he managed between heaves of breath and frantic jerks of his spasming cock. “I’m sorry.”
She watched his broad, glistening back flare as he hid himself from her, and she couldn’t stop herself from reaching out to touch him. Her fingertips slipped in the sheen of sweat there, and his head whipped back toward her.
“I couldn’t do that,” he said dejectedly. “You’re just so pretty, I’m sorry. I know that’s what you wanted, but—”
“I didn’t mean it anyway,” she said. “I don’t know why I said it.”
Something fluttered across his dark features before his brow furrowed, and he turned away again. “Damnit, I should have never listened to my friends.”
Gwen quirked her head even as she covered up with the sheet. “Your friends?”
The man tumbled onto the mattress and spread out like a winded starfish without a single care for his nakedness, and she felt a little shame at the way she ogled that delicious stomach and his softening length now glossy and still leaking onto his thigh.
He sighed.
He was so different now from the dark, intense man he’d been only moments ago. Back was the brilliance that emanated from within that almost compelled Gwen to close her eyes when she looked at him. She could hardly believe it was the same man who’d brought her to two earth-shaking orgasms in no time at all.
“Can I confess something to you?” he said.
Gwen tensed all over, but she managed a nod of her head. “Okay.”
“This isn’t really my thing,” he continued, and her heart plummeted in ways it shouldn’t considering she’d just fucked a total stranger.
“Oh…”
Gwen realized too late how apparent the disappointment in her voice was when the man shot up and swiveled to her, his hands waving in defense. “I didn’t mean it like that, I swear! I mean, I have a hard time keeping things… simple. It wasn’t just the body shot thing that was a dare. Tonight was kind of my friends’ idea. They want me to be more… unattached, I guess?”
“That’s what my friend said, too,” Gwen laughed.
“Really?” He joined her laugh until, finally, his shoulders sagged with a light sigh as he covered his lower half with the sheet at last.
“Yeah.”
“I thought I was doing pretty good there, too, but— That was just so much more than I ever expected—you’re kind of more than I expected—and I really don’t want you to think I was just using you.”
“I don’t.”
“Good. Because…” He paused then, massaging his lips together as his eyes fell to his lap. “I think their dare kind of backfired anyway. Or it’s entirely possible I’m a hopeless case. So… I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow?”
At this, Gwen stiffened. Her eyes snagged on his naked frame. Though the sheet swaddled his hips and thighs, it did nothing to hide his tummy or his shoulders or his bowed head, nor did it conceal his pencil legs and feet poking sweetly over the edge of the bed. And then she realized they were both tucked under that sheet, and it would be so, so easy to just lay back and fall asleep with him.
There it was again, that urge to romanticize someone she didn’t even know, yet everything about the guy screamed boyfriend—or worse.
Oh no.
Boyfriend.
The one word Marie had made Gwen swear not to use this weekend.
And damned if her roommate hadn’t been right all along. The hard truth was, Gwen didn’t know this man. She didn’t know what he did, she didn’t know his past, she didn’t know his ethnicity or even his damn name, and that was all there was to it. To assign any more meaning to it was every bit as foolish as everyone always reminded her she was.
Dread welled in her stomach and weighted her limbs. The best Gwen could do was offer a tight smile. “I’d really like that, but my friend has our whole day planned.”
“Oh.” He looked crestfallen, but he picked himself up quickly and slipped out of the bed in a shy, awkward rush while trying to keep his modesty with the edge of the sheet still draped around his hips. He stretched out his leg as far as he could to hook the band of his jeans with his toe. He tried to keep conversation flowing even as he struggled with the cutest little grunts very different to the ones that had just been uttered for her ears only. “Oh yeah? Going to check out the beach or the city?”
“I’m not sure,” Gwen said. The truth was they had no plans, but she had to lie because her whole body screamed to meet him again, and if she did, there was no way of keeping things superficial. The man was too cute, too sincere, and far, far too sexy to turn down a second time. “I’m not one for itineraries. I kind of go where my heart leads me.”
He stopped, jeans sagging in hand as he looked at her with a gentle smile. “Yeah, same.”
But then his smile fell away, and he raced to shimmy into his jeans, too in a hurry to even bother with his underwear, and Gwen turned her head and busied herself poking at the remote on the bedside table.
Over her shoulder, she asked, “So, what will you guys get up to then? More bachelor party stuff?”
“I never can tell with them. Even when one of the guys makes plans, the others always seem to change them. I’m just along for the ride.”
“Easiest way to get through life,” she agreed. Gwen wanted to flinch at her own voice, but she didn’t want to call any more attention to her terrible bedside manner than she already had.
In the end, it didn’t matter. The man beside her was too perceptive, and he picked up her cues instantly. “Let me just grab the rest of my clothes and clean up in the bathroom so you can get dressed.”
“Would you mind if I go first? You know, since...”
Maybe if she tried hard enough, her awkwardness could compact her into a handful of atoms, and she could just disappear.
“Oh, of course, duh. Sure. Absolutely,” he bumbled.
Gwen grabbed the haphazard pile at the foot of the bed and practically sprinted to the bathroom where she tried to lose herself in the repetition of cleanliness. At least that was automatic.
Against her better judgment, she checked herself in the mirror. She looked every bit as undone as he had made her, and she hastily combed her fingers through her bed head so she didn’t scream “harlot” when she made her way back through the hallways. She rinsed her face and neck and swished some water to freshen her breath, and when she was done, she felt brave enough to face the music.
When Gwen returned to the bedroom, she found the man dressed as he had been, though all his clothes bore the same noticeable wrinkles and bagginess that hers did.
He smiled at her, and she swallowed roughly.
“Hey,” he said.
“Hey.”
It was agony. She just wanted to kiss him again. She wanted to feel him again. She wanted to hear him in the shell of her ear again.
“So, this was really fun,” she said lamely. “Thanks for the drinks and, you know, everything else.”
He laughed shyly.
This time, as she faced his open complexion and expressive eyes, she had no choice but to be sincere. “I had a really great time.”
“You did?”
She nodded. “I really didn’t expect to meet someone like you either, but I’m glad I did.”
“Ah!” he exclaimed before he unexpectedly bowed to her. “Thank you. I feel the same.”
Gwen burst out laughing, which helped ease the pang in her heart at having to pull away. “You’re cute.”
He shrugged a shoulder and laughed, too, though his was much more forced. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out, and the pair stood there in a stalemate. At last, he took a step back, and she took one forward.
“So…”
“So…” he echoed.
Gwen bit the inside of her cheek roughly in the desperate hope it would wake her up, and, thankfully, the flare of pain combatted the butterflies before they could overtake her. Tightly, she began, “I’m going to head out, I think.”
“Sure, yeah,” he said as he ushered her back into the living room to the door. “Yeah, you probably should. Are you good to walk back to your room? Wait, this is your hotel, right? Do I need to call you an Uber?”
“Yeah, I’m here. All good.”
“Good.”
“Good.”
They exchanged another round of confused smiles before Gwen, fool that she was, lurched up onto her tip toes and placed a kiss on his cheek. When she pulled back, his smile slanted with an irresistible dopiness.
“You sure you don’t want me to walk you back?”
“You probably shouldn’t.”
He nodded as though he understood, but Gwen wasn’t sure she did even though she’d been the one to say it.
“Goodnight,” she whispered.
“Night,” he replied. “Take care.”
He opened his hotel door, and with a nod of her head first, Gwen turned and headed down the hall with the burning notion that he was watching her walk away.
She barely made it to the elevator before she had her phone in hand, intending to text Marie that she was headed back, but Gwen got sidetracked by the memory of what now lurked in her gallery.
She opened her camera roll only to be assaulted immediately by several snaps of his heart-shaped hair and buoyant cheeks framing his dazzling smile.
“He's cute. Is that your boyfriend?”
Gwen’s head shot up. She hadn’t even realized the elevator had stopped to acquire another passenger at some point. The bleached blonde girl smiled, her wild gold eyeliner glinting in the lowlight like some forest sprite sent there just to taunt her.
Gwen locked her phone and stuffed it in her leggings pocket with a shake of her head. “Uh. Oh, no, he’s just a friend.”
“Cute friend.”
“Yeah.”
The elevator dinged at the fourth floor and Gwen nodded to the other woman. “This is me. Have a good night.”
“You too!”
Back at her room, Gwen showered quickly, hoping it would be easier to distance herself from the forbidden word now buzzing in her brain like neon.
Boyfriend. Boyfriend. Boyfriend.
She considered a shower, but that meant too much time to think just as much as it meant washing off the remnants of his cologne. She could do that in the morning once her heart had sobered up from its dopamine surge.
Gwen dressed for bed the same mechanical way she had back in Room 2281, and once she was safely into her pajamas, the familiarity brought the exhaustion in her muscles to the surface. She was only too happy to climb into bed after that, and tired as she was, she remembered to send her text to Marie.
Her finger hovered over the gallery icon again, but at the last second, she forced her phone off and let the night take hold of her.
Tumblr media
Gwen woke to banging at her door. She blinked, rubbed her eyes, and sat up slowly since her muscles ached from head to toe. She glanced at the thick drapes and caught the wan strip of light along the edges, but she had no clue what time it was until she grabbed her phone to find that it was just past noon. Even more surprisingly, she noted the slew of notifications.
Nine texts and four missed calls, all from Marie.
The banging continued, and Gwen groaned. “Give me a minute!”
At last, it quieted, and she shuffled like a geriatric over to the peephole. There, warped in the fish eye lens, was her roommate looking the perfect cross between annoyed and desperate. Gwen unlocked the door, and Marie rushed in.
“Finally,” the brunette said. “I was getting seriously worried.”
“I told you I made it back,” Gwen corrected.
“Yeah, but then you didn’t answer me at all, and I thought maybe you were passed out or something.”
The blonde squinted as she studied her friend now pacing the length of the hotel room. “Are you sure that’s it? Seems to me you’re the one who’s not okay.”
Marie shrugged a shoulder.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” her roommate said, still pacing. “Everything.”
Still exhausted, Gwen sat back on the bed and waited.
“Shit, it’s just— You know what, let's go to the pool. Maybe it will wash that guy out of my system.”
“That guy? The one from the party last night? Did you have a bad night?”
“No! Worse!” Marie wailed and flopped onto the bed. “He wasn't just scalding hot. He was likable! Ugh, I'm devastated. Catching feelings is your thing, girl, not mine. Damnit, I need a distraction. Tell me about your night. Please, don’t spare a single fucking detail.”
It was Gwen’s turn to shrug a shoulder. “I had fun.”
“So much fun you're not even going to tell your friend a single detail?” But then Marie's eyes narrowed, and her roommate’s skin bristled. “Or you had too much fun?”
“Hey, I slept in my own room last night, thank you.”
Marie whined. “Shit, I know. I must be projecting.”
“So what the hell happened with you last night?” Gwen said, only too happy to turn the attention away from her as she shuffled into the bathroom for her usual morning routine.
“I hardly know. We were dancing and drinking, no big deal, so I figured it was just going to be the usual fun, and it was fun, but, shit, he was just different, you know? He was like one of those lead guys from your movies, all gentlemanly and shit but more, too. Like he’s got secrets, but not the kind you want to run from, the kind you want to know. Oh my god, what am I even saying?”
Gwen smiled. “So, he was hot and charming? How is that different from the other guys you hook up with?”
“Gwennie, I didn’t even tell you about the sex. Shit, the way he moved his hips! There should be a law. And he was so diligent. He knew exactly what I wanted, and I didn't have to say a word, which was good because the only ones I could utter were swears. And I just couldn’t keep my hands off of him, you know? Fuck, not just his muscles, but his hair…” Marie laid there slack-jawed at the memory, her hands pressed over her belly.
“Sounds like you got the unforgettable night you were gunning for.”
“You don’t get it, babe. Even as he was giving me the dicking down of my life, this guy—he was, like, quietly sweet and funny? I don’t know how to explain it. He could just… smile, and it would make me laugh, like, even when he was inside, and somehow that was still super hot, you know?”
Gwen burst out laughing.
“See!” said Marie, gesturing at her roommate as she exploded up from the bed.
“I see,” the blonde teased with a lingering grin.
“What?”
“Nothing, it’s just, you know who you sound like?”
“You.”
“Me.”
Marie sighed. “Shit, I know. You know the worst part?”
“What?”
“This guy asked me to stay after.”
“Oh…”
“I mean, it’s not the first time, but it’s the first time I considered staying. Ain’t that some shit? But what would be the point, right?”
“Yeah…” Gwen said slowly as she thought of her thick-lipped lover. Marie’s unexpected dilemma had been just what Gwen needed to forget the ache in her core and the bigger ache in her chest, but now, it was a mirror reflecting things back far too vividly.
“Shit, huh?”
“Yeah. Shit.”
“You know the only thing to do, right?”
“Don't you dare,” Gwen warned.
But Marie was already up and moving to the door. “We’re going to the pool, and I'm going to find another hot guy because hot guys are a dime a dozen in Miami, right? I'm going to cleanse the palate.”
“Yeah, that's not how that works.”
“Look, I've never thought a guy was husband material before, let alone a one-night stand, so what do you suggest I do, Ms. Ephron?”
Gwen scowled. “Don't ask me. I've been getting it wrong so long that I'm not even sure I could trust myself to know when it was right.”
“Okay then. For lack of absolutely any other plan, this is what we’re doing. Put your swimsuit on, gorgeous. Let’s see how much Vitamin D we can get.”
Gwen sighed, but the truth was Marie’s distraction did help her forget the feeling of being surrounded by the stranger she couldn’t shake, so she slipped into her bikini, fought hard not to open her gallery yet again, and decided to dive headfirst into something new like her friend suggested if only to prove to herself once and for all that she’d idealized everything about last night.
Marie joined her in the hallway decked out in her cutest Miami-approved string bikini, already smelling of sunscreen and Flowerbomb. “Let’s do this.”
The pair chatted about their day and where they might go for their last night in town, all while studiously avoiding the topic of last night. They padded through the extravagant lobby along with a sea of other swimsuit-ed guests, their flip-flops smacking across the marble like theme music, until they emerged into the blistering Florida sun.
The pool looked very different in the daylight. There was no trace of the stage or the bars, and there was certainly no body shot table left out. It was just an ocean of sun-bleached concrete thrusting straight up to the white sands of Miami Beach, broken only by an enormous aquamarine pool, dozens of lavish cabanas, and a manmade forest of towering palms.
“Wait,” said Gwen as she scouted the bustling crowd stretching all the way out to the blue sea beyond, “you want the pool or—”
“Oh my god!” shouted Marie as she squealed to a stop and slipped behind Gwen. “It's him!”
“Who? The guy from last night? Where?”
“There, right at the edge of the pool. The one who’s shaped like a yield sign telling me slow down and give in to him again and again and again…”
“Marie!” she shouted and whirled around to face her friend.
“Oh my god, Gwennie, you have to hold me back or I am going to do irreparable damage here. Shit, shit, shit! I can’t believe I’m the one saying this. Fuck. He's looking right at me now, and he's waving with that stupid cute teddy bear smile, fuck. What do I do! What do I do!”
Gwen grabbed her friend’s shoulders and shook her until Marie looked at her. “What do you want to do?”
“I want to go over there, and I want to talk to him, and I want to hear his whole entire life story and what he wants in a woman, and then I want to take him back to my hotel room and be that woman.”
“Oh, girl,” Gwen laughed, “I never want to hear advice from you about this ever again.”
“That’s fine, just please come with me. I don’t want to talk to him alone.”
“Who are you, and what did you do with Marie?”
The brunette grimaced as she squeezed Gwen’s hands. “I don’t know! Help me!”
“Okay, now, I need to see the guy who broke my friend.”
Gwen turned from Marie toward the pool in time to catch the man who’d unmade her roommate over the course of one night. He was every bit as hot as Marie had described, with a chiseled jaw and even more chiseled abs, and he was indeed shaped like a triangle, which could be appreciated even easier since he was only in swim trunks. His skin had been worshipped by the sun, and he was sparkling thanks to a fresh dip in the pool. He lowered his muscular arm to sweep his fingers back through his sopping wet hair, and somewhere beside her, her friend whimpered.
But the blonde could only spend a fraction of a second on everything else around her because beside Marie’s hunk now was the very man who had unmade Gwen last night.
Time stopped.
He, too, was fresh out of the pool, with a towel ringing his neck and shoulders as swollen droplets rained down from thick, haphazard locks. He was out of breath, his chest heaving from his swim and his pale lips hanging open as he gulped air, just as they had when he’d fucked her to the brink of insanity.
But his eyes were as steady as ever, and they were fixed firmly on Gwen.
“Should we go over?” asked Marie, but her friend couldn’t move.
Instead, the two men began to walk the long perimeter before the bronzed man cut out the inconvenience and hopped back in the pool to wade across. Gwen was pretty sure she’d never again see anything more life-altering than these two shirtless heartthrobs pressing determinedly through the water with the ripples surging around their matching narrow waists.
The pair climbed out in horrible, horrible unison, their wet thighs flexing in time with their arms as water rushed off in diamond falls, and it was all terribly loud in Gwen’s ears. It only amplified when her stranger smiled in his darling tight-lipped way.
They padded across the concrete to the little swath of grass under a palm where the two ladies had been paralyzed.
“Hi, hello,” said the deep-voiced bronzed man. “It’s nice to see you again, Marie.”
“Hey, Hyunwoo,” she replied. Maybe it would sound casual to the strangers, but Gwen didn’t miss the uncharacteristic tremble in her friend’s voice.
“Good day for a swim,” he observed as he glanced up at the sun through the palm fronds and rubbed the back of his neck. “You planning on the pool or the ocean?”
“We hadn’t decided.”
“Ah, is this your friend you told me about?”
Marie nodded and took the chance to cling to her roommate’s hand, and with that, gained some strength. “Oh, yeah, this is Gwen. Gwen, this is Hyunwoo.”
Gwen felt the sharp squeeze at her hand, which was the only thing that made her realize she’d been staring unceasingly at her own pretty boy. She whipped her attention to Hyunwoo to smile and wave, but she could feel the burn of the other man’s eyes until she felt more naked than she had in his bed. She didn’t dare look back.
“Nice to meet you,” Hyunwoo said with that teddy bear smile, as Marie had called it. He turned toward his shirtless friend and added, “This is—”
“Hey!” came an exuberant call from across the pool in one of the loudest voices Gwen had ever heard. There stood yet another handsome man with hair dyed honey blond and chipper eyes waving at them with both arms like a used car lot inflatable. “Hey! Ask them if they want to join us.”
“Minhyuk,” scoffed the remaining stranger with a roll of his eyes, but Hyunwoo shrugged his mouth.
“What do you say, ladies? We have a cabana over there. Lunch is on its way, and we ordered lots.”
Marie giggled nervously and tucked her hair behind her ear. “Yeah, I remember how much you said you like eating. I mean, if it’s cool with everybody…”
The brunette looked desperately at Gwen and squeezed her hand tighter than ever, and all eyes looked to the blonde.
“Sure, that’s cool,” said Gwen though she was anything but.
She was burning under the sun though it was nothing to the way she burned under the magnifying glass of cruel fate. Here, before the gentle gaze of the man she had forced herself to walk away from, everything came into calamitous focus.
His laugh, his easiness, his openness, his beauty. Their chemistry, their connection, their compatibility, their flaws.
Maybe Gwen had been a fool in love an embarrassing number of times, but she realized now that maybe all those mistakes had served a purpose. She could see clearly for the first time what all those men had lacked, and she’d be a much bigger fool to turn back a second time from something that felt undeniably different.
“You coming?” Marie called, and only then did Gwen realize Hyunwoo and her friend were already on their way to the cabana.
Beside her, her shot glass waited, smiling as he always seemed to be in her presence with that delicious bellybutton still glistening though this time it was from lingering pool water.
“Didn’t think I’d be lucky enough to ever see you again,” he said.
“We’re really bad at this, aren’t we?” Gwen laughed awkwardly as she took the lead and followed her friend.
With his long legs, he caught up in a single stride, and together, they walked the long perimeter of the pool without any complaint.
“Bad at what?” he asked.
“Keeping promises to our friends.”
“Nah. Maybe it was just a dumb promise to make in the first place. And anyway,” he said, looking at her keenly over a bare shoulder, “aren’t you the one who told me no itineraries?”
“Oh yeah,” she said with a red-cheeked chuckle.
I go where my heart leads…
“I take it Hyunwoo’s a part of the bachelor party?” Gwen said.
“Yup. There’s eight of us, including the groom and his brother. You’ll like them, just hopefully not as much as you like me.”
She cocked an eyebrow at him. “And who says I like you?”
“I do. At least, I hope you do. Or maybe I’m just trying to manifest it.”
Gwen smiled shyly and nodded. “You’re right. I do.”
“Kind of funny how this worked out, huh? Your friend and my friend meeting up. Kind of feels like…”
“Blind dumb luck?”
“Destiny.” He studied her for a moment and then returned his eyes to the path around the pool. “I was going to say destiny.”
Her heart was beating out of her chest again, but this time, there was no scolding voice inside her head to temper it.
“You’re still cute,” she blurted.
“And you’re still driving me crazy.” His eyes roved over her skimpily clad figure, and he pressed his lips together. “So… Gwen, huh? That’s a beautiful name. It suits you.”
She was not prepared for the way it would feel to hear her name from his exquisite lips.
The front of her flip-flop rolled, and she stumbled forward with a cry and a flail before he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms.
“I’ve got you,” he assured. He stared down at her fondly as she sheltered in the shade of his wide shoulders. Slowly, a smirk crept onto his lips. “Last time, you said it was the heels and you were a sandals girl. What’s your excuse today?”
“I’m clumsy, okay.”
“For everyone or just for me?” he teased. He leaned down, his lips to her hair, and added, “It’s okay if you say just for me. I’m kind of hoping for it.”
Gwen looked up into those brown eyes. The night had brought out their smoky depths, but the day brought out their playful hickory dimensions. So, too, had the merciless sun illuminated the finest spray of freckles dappling his cheek to puffy cheek, to devastating consequence.
“Maybe I’d admit it if I even knew who you were,” she said.
He stopped, and she stopped, too. Gwen looked at him with nervous eyes and an even more skittish heart.
She could forgive herself for all her stupid mistakes if it meant she could just get it right this one time…
Please. Just this once…
He lifted his head, caught her gaze, and closed the gap between them with one big step.
“In that case…”
Slowly, he bent down as his large hands gripped her cheeks, and just as his lips grazed hers gentler than the sea breeze, he spoke.
“So nice to finally meet you, Gwen. I’m Hyungwon.”

A/N: I know, I know. The muse obviously tried to turn this into a whole rom-com novel, but instead, I remained resolute to close this on the whimsical romantic open ending I originally intended. It got too out-of-hand as it was, if you couldn’t tell lol, so let your own romantic hearts take it from here, loves. <3 Thanks for reading!

IDOL CAMEOS: Karina-Aespa, Yeji-Itzy, Lia-Itzy, Jinhwan-Monsta X.
Trigger warnings: toxic relationships, ANGST, happy ending, mentions of smut no smut actually featured, fake texts, mentions of drinking/getting black out drunk, mentions of cheating, mentions of marijuana use, crying, arguments, mentions of anxiety. anything else i could have forgotten.
A/N: So this the alternative ending. So many people asked for a happy ending and my original plan was not to have one but i did make this alt ending for all my fluffy happy ending lovers most of the two stories are the same until the final confrontation. Part 1    Original Ending
Tumblr media
You were grateful for Felix having come into your life. Ever since your break up with Hyunjin, two months ago, He’s been your rock through it. From taking you out anytime you felt you needed to get away, to cuddling with you and watching a movie, and some days like, today, when Hyunjin does reach out to try to talk Felix is the one to usually urge you to at least get closure. You immediately found yourself wandering aimlessly until Felix picked you up and brought you to the beach. But you being sad didn’t mean you didn’t get out of the ‘closure’ lecture.
“You know....”
Felix trails “You’re going to have to talk to him eventually you deserve an explanation......and closure” you sigh in response, adjusting yourself against the uncomfortable pebbles beneath you. Your eyes trail over the setting sun dancing across the water, waves crashing against the rocks on the shoreline. “I can get an explanation from Ye-na before I get the slightest truth from Hyunjin” Felix flinches at the way you say Hyunjin’s name. He stands in his place almost dumbfounded. “Listen helmet, like honestly, I would 100% agree that what he did was wrong but he looked genuinely heartbroken when you ended things. You should at least hear him out if not for him then for yourself. Wouldn’t you want to know why he cheated?” you shake your head in response. “Why would I ever want to know why?” You growl. “So, you don’t feel like it's your fault, which is what I know you feel.” you force your eyes away from the water “and how could you possibly know that?” you counter. He shrugs in response running his hand through his hair before placing extending out to you “the face you made just told me, but let's get out of here please you know what kind of people hang out around these parts at night” you chuckle in response as you grab his hand “I literally met you right over there” you pointed toward the pier “So they're your kind of people Yongbokie~” you tease.
His face is flat “Dude they're STILL looking for me”
It was your turn to shrug “And? Why'd you piss them off” his mouth hangs open “I didn’t purposely piss them off I just.......slept with the leader's sister......” “And?” you urge him to continue “And he walked in okay!” he responds. You couldn’t contain your laughter, “Wait! He saw little yongbokie!” you struggled to regain composure as you approach Felix’s bike. “1! How was I supposed to know he would walk in she said she was going to be home alone for hours she miscalculated. And 2! Don’t name my dick especially a title that implies its little. When it very much isn’t” you roll your eyes at him. “Suuuuurrrrrreeeee” his face forms a scowl. “What? You want to see? Don’t think you’d be able to handle it” he urges, his hand wrapping around your hair forcing your head back pressing your back against his chest. You squeak in responds your face turning toward him “Don't threaten me with a good time” you tease facing him brushing your noses together before running your hand down his torso making your way toward his waistline before his hand grips at your wrist “FINE! Fine! You won this time okay” he jumps. You chuckle in response “Lixie, you act like I don’t win every time you try to play this game with me”
“You only win because I let you. I have no problems with being a rebound honestly and if I wanted to win, Helmet, you’d have been in my bed the night after you broke up with Hyunjin” He states. “Hmm I'll keep that in mind then” you shrug as he starts his motorcycle. “You know you're quite annoying, even Karina gets somewhat flustered when I talk to her” he snaps. You giggle “Lix, you’re really attractive and honestly at first you definitely made me really blushy but I was with Hyunjin so it was really easy to kind of shrug it off you know?” you state softly. The wind kissing your cheeks. “But, if I ever felt like you know, ready to move on, you’d probably be the first person I'd sleep with” you finish matter of factly. He nods in response “Shit just let me know, I can definitely make you forget all about Hyunjin” He winks biting his bottom lip before hopping onto his bike.
“But it's cold so you coming or not?”
______________________________________________________________
You sighed as you walked toward your dorm’s entrance, you weren't excited for Lia’s questioning on why you had randomly left the dorm, completely disappearing while she showered. You dragged your feet as if they were imbedded in cinderblocks, formulating a plan to make a beeline for your bedroom and locking the door. You regret taking the stairs as you enter the door to your floor, your legs aching. Your eyes not leaving the ground as you continue your path to your bed. Your hands fidgeting with your keys, you let out a loud sigh. Finally lifting your eyes as you come close to your door, your heart sinking as you see your ex sitting in front of it. You consider running back toward the stairs before he could notice you, yet luck was not on your side as his eyes find you and he jumps to his feet.
You freeze in shock, it’s the first time you’ve seen him since you broke up and he didn’t look too good---well he still looked absolutely gorgeous, but you could see the lack of sleep in his eyes. Ghost trails of tears stained on his face, his hair was disheveled and he was still wearing the same clothes from the night you had broken up. Your throat tightens, you felt your fingers tingling; you’re face heated up rapidly. You hated that, even with the pain he’s caused you, he could still make your heart race. You felt your heart ache at the sight of him in pain. Still, there’s a light in his eyes when he looks at you.
“Bab--Y/N....” his voice is coarse “C-can we talk.... please?”
His eyes are pleading as he slowly makes his way toward you. You release a breath you didn’t realize you were holding, looking toward the ground once again shaking your head. “Y-you need to go...” you mumble. Your eyes notice his shoes now in view, you can feel the heat radiating off him due to his closeness. “Please....I-I just want to talk--I don’t know what else to do. You don’t answer my calls or-or texts. I don’t understand what happened--I feel like I can't breathe” he begs, you feel his hands on your arms igniting a fire in your stomach. You jump at the contact your head whipping to look at him as you force his hands off you. “No.” you state coldly. “You need to leave now, Hyunjin” you shove your way past him to your door. Forcing your key in the lock and turning before you turn back to your ex. “You lost your chance to talk to me the moment you fucked anyone else while we were together. Leave before I call security” “I didn’t--I sw-” his pleads are cut off by you slamming the door behind you.
Hyunjin stood in shock, tears welling in his eyes. He knew it was going to be hard to get you to forgive him but how could he even begin to try to fix things if you wouldn’t even look at him. His heart clenched in his chest. This isn’t happening...... he thinks to himself. The same words that’s been playing in his head since that fateful night. He didn’t know what else to do, he was so lost. He’s never felt pain like this before and he still couldn’t understand why. He knows what you believe but he still doesn’t even understand what Ye-na told you. And when he confronted Ye-na she just laughed at the ‘irony’ as she had stated boldly. He’d spent countless hours these past two months staring at nothing but his phone screen waiting for something---anything in return from you. Losing you was the last thing he could have ever wanted. He knew he should leave; he knew you wanted him to go, but he couldn’t he needed to try. He needed you to talk to him. With a shaky breath he lifted his phone and immediately pressed the call button of your contact. Pressing his back against your door and sliding down.
“Fuck......” he cried as he ran his hand through his hair. Of course, you’d reject his call. He wanted to scream, to beg for you to talk to him; his mind flashed to the way you flinched at his touch. He wanted to go back, back to when he first got his chance with you. He'd change everything, he’d appreciate everything he had. He needed to hold you again, if he could go back, he would have stayed every time you’d ask. He’d show you he loves you, because he did—he does. He wishes he’d realized it sooner, anything to just have you back. He hates that he confessed his love when he did. He knows what you probably think, but he needed you to know. He thought it would reassure you that he didn’t want anyone else. His phone buzzed in his hand. His heart lit up at your contact.
Tumblr media
He knew it wasn’t much, but it was something. You responded; he didn’t care it was to tell him to leave. He immediately went to respond, only for his message to be interrupted by a call from Jisung. He sighed to himself as he pressed the answer button. “Hell---Dude, you gotta go home” Jisung interrupted. “What are you talking about?” Hyunjin questioned with faux confusion “I am---no! You're not! you wanna know how I know you’re not?! Because I’m at your place! Dude! Come home, okay? If she wants to talk to then she will but you can't camp out in front of her dorm its honestly fucking creepy!” Jisung exclaims. Hyunjin rolls his eyes, biting his lip. “Fine, just-just stay their asshole”
“Dope, when you get back, you’re taking a fucking shower and cleaning your room bro this is gross and honestly no girl would even look at you let alone talk to you judging by your place.” Jisung whines.
“So fucking leave then!” He snaps.
“See I would, but I’m the hot one now and I just need a second to soak it in so get home while you still look like shit” Jisung exclaims excitedly. And for just a moment, Hyunjin considers murdering his best friend. Scoffing, he quickly ends the call before lifting himself off the ground. He gives one last look at your door before he makes his way back to his dorm, leaving his heart in his place.
______________________________________________________________
Your dance class has been.... awkward to say the least. The tension in the room could be cut with a knife, you can feel Ye-na's glare and Hyunjin’s love sick longing stare on you. Jisung still follows Karina around like a lost puppy so you have to sometimes deal with the occasional run in with him. Jisung, as Hyunjin’s best friend, is one of the few that truly knew what was going on in your past relationship. Sometimes you thought he knew even more than you about your own relationship with Hyunjin. He remained polite sometimes looking at you with sad eyes when he notices Hyunjin’s pleading gaze. You questioned as to why he sat here with you when his own best friend sat across the room, not paying attention to his dance partner and focusing on you and only you.
You honestly felt exceptionally confused. Why was Hyunjin acting like this? A question that’s lingered in your mind for days. He had ignored you for the majority of your relationship, only showing interest a select number of times that didn’t involve sex. You were together for a little over a year and if you were to say you didn’t love him it would be a lie. You loved him, you still love him but he obviously didn’t feel the same if he had seeked out another woman. You hated yourself for not hating Ye-na, you don’t know if she knows you overheard her conversation with her friend but honestly, you owed her a huge thank you. For months you couldn’t figure out how Hyunjin had felt about you, and in a few words, you learned that he did not feel the same way. You didn’t blame her; she wasn’t the one that promised you exclusivity so how could you hold a grudge against someone that got played by the same person. He probably made false promises to her as well, so, why the heartbroken pouty expression that wouldn’t leave his features. You feel like you should at least talk to him, but every time you went to respond to him; Ye-na's words rang through your head. Why would he say you guys were nothing serious and then declare his love for you?
You had practically the exact same conversation with everyone beside Karina, who had suggested you talk to him, after a certain violent act pertaining to a very vital reproductive organ was performed; which you had considered but immediately shot down. You didn’t want to talk to Jisung about it so you had gone to Changbin, who also told you to talk to Hyunjin and nothing more or less. You felt like pulling your hair out and you knew you’d regret it but you decided to talk to Jisung, he’d have the most knowledge about everything and you were honestly still to hurt to face Hyunjin so this was your best bet. You let out a shaky breath before you stood up and looked at Jisung. “Hey can you come with me to something from the vending machine in the music department?” It was no secret that the vending machine in the music department contained the best snacks and drinks, the foreign stuff. But you hoped that he would understand that there was more to you asking other than you craving things.
The confused look on your face told you he didn’t catch it, “Why?” He asked, Karina slapped the back of his head “Ouch! Why’d you do that?” He whined rubbing his injury “Because you’re stupid. Bring her genius! she can't get into the department without a music major” She snapped as she rolled her eyes. His cheeks heat up in embarrassment “Sorry” he apologized as he stood from his place. You felt eyes burning on you and Jisung as you made your way out of the studio. You look at Jisung quizzically as you notice him looking across the room before almost crashing into the door if you didn’t pull him out the door behind you. “Jesus, Han I think you’d lose your head if it wasn’t attached” you tease, raising your eyebrow to him. He chuckles in embarrassment as he fixes his shirt “Sorry, I was—Hyu--I got distracted” He looks away as he stammers.
“That’s actually why I wanted to go to the music department. You’re Hyunjin’s best friend you probably know way more than me about---Y/N I told you I don’t know if what Ye-na said is true” He cuts you off. You shake your head rapidly “No that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about”
“Oh” He states in confusion “well then.... what about Hyunjin did you want to talk to me about?”
“Well, as you probably know I still haven’t talked to him about things, BUT the night we broke up. He said something that has me really confused” You explain. “Well....what did he say? I can’t really help you unless I know, you know?” He states softly, you pause for a moment “He told me he loves me.” Jisung’s eyes widen “He finally confessed?! And He didn’t even tell me?! I’m supposed to be his best friend, his ride or die, and he doesn’t even tell me that” he exclaims in betrayal. You snap in his face while he continues his rant “Hanji, Focus. So, you do at least know how he feels then” Jisung shakes his head at you “Oh no no no little lady, Karina warned me this talk was coming. It's not my place to tell you how Hyunjin feels about you. You need to talk to him if you want answers” You scoff “Karina told you to say that?”
“No! I’m saying it!” Jisung exclaims “Honestly Y/N, I’m his best friend he’s not doing okay in all of this and He wants to tell you how he feels and what you mean to him. And as his best friend and knowing how he feels I know he needs to be the one to tell you. You think you’re the only one hurt right now but you’re not. My best friend is going through his first ever break up, and he’s heartbroken. And I’m not making excuses for him, you had a good reason to break up with him he promised you loyalty and he didn’t keep that promise I guess but let’s be real here you know the kind of guys we are. Were you really surprised? You probably thought this would have happened anyway because let's be honest here me and Hyunjin aren’t built for relationships. I don’t know if he’s ever cheated on you like for real but I do know that I wouldn’t be surprised or disappointed if it turns out he did if I were you.”  He states honestly, as his hand grasps your shoulder stopping you. “So, what? I should forgive him if he did?” You question. Jisung shakes his head “No, you shouldn’t honestly just cause I’m that kind of guy doesn’t mean I'd say you should forgive him. If he cheated dump his ass and move on you want loyalty, you’re that kind of girl.”
“So, I should......?” you prod.
“Talk to Hyunjin Y/N” Jisung scoffs
______________________________________________________________
Hyunjin didn’t know why he had done it, honestly, he knew why he’d done it but he doesn’t know exactly what could come of him messaging Felix; But he knew one thing for sure, he was running out of options. He was losing his mind thinking of ways to get you to talk to him, He knew Felix would at least have some insight into how you were feeling, judging by your social media, you’ve been with Felix every day since the breakup. Your friendship with Felix had always brought an uncomfortable ache in Hyunjin’s chest. He’d realized you deserved better than himself long before you had met Felix, but it wasn’t until after that Hyunjin realized you deserved someone like Felix. He could see that glint in your eye every time you talked to him and it always made Hyunjin feel like throwing up. That is until you had broken up with him and Felix had messaged him almost immediately that he had brought you home, that you were safe and needed time. Hyunjin had realized, in the short time he’s spent talking to him, that Felix truly cared for you so much so that he’d continuously update Hyunjin on your condition. Hyunjin hated himself for ruining things so much that he couldn’t be with you anymore, but at least he had a way to make sure you were okay, at least he had Felix.
So, Hyunjin used his last hail Mary and messaged him to see if he would want to get something to eat and talk, only to be eagerly surprised when Felix had agreed. So here Hyunjin sat, in a pizza restaurant that Felix had picked out, his eyes focused on the cream-colored table. His hands holding onto each other while his arms rested on his shaky legs. What would Felix say? Hyunjin wondered. He wanted to ask your dance partner how you were, if you were doing okay, what you were thinking about when it came to your relationship, did you feel like a part of you was missing too. He couldn’t even touch the pizza he had ordered. He felt nauseous waiting for Felix. His breath was shaky when he heard the chair in front of him scoot out. His eyes slowly lift to be greeted by the warmest smile. Hyunjin could see why you went to Felix every day for comfort, from just his friendly smile alone Hyunjin felt himself calming down. “S-so, uh, y-you're probably wondering why I asked you to come here” Hyunjin stammered. “Well, technically I picked this place but sure I guess, I figured you probably wanted to talk about Y/N you know?” Felix chuckled as he reached for Hyunjin’s soda, “You don’t mind, do you?” Felix questioned, Hyunjin stared at him in shock and shook his head no.
“No-well—yes, I want to talk about her but it's not just for that reason!” Hyunjin explained nervously “Look, I know how she feels right now and I know I’m the reason for that, but I just want---no I need to explain. I don’t know if she’d forgive me, but I fucking hate that I hurt her and I just-I need her back. She was the best thing that’s happened to me and I fucked it all up and I don’t know how to fix it and I hate myself for not knowing what to do right now. In the past I would have just said fuck it and moved on and just forgot about her. ----sigh----but I can’t. I can’t just move on; I can’t just act like she never existed. I love her and I need her to know that. I won't fuck this up again if she gave me a chance but she won't talk to me and I feel so fucking lost without her” Hyunjin felt tears well up in his eyes the longer he continued, soon his eyes never left Felix’s face “and you’ve been so nice to me, you don’t know me and you know how badly I've hurt her, and she’s your friend so you should hate me but you came here and-and you let me know that she’s safe. And I know she’s safe when she’s with you. You didn’t have to do any of this but you did and I owe you a lot honestly and I don’t know how to repay you” Felix’s features twist into a cognitive look.
“Well, the only thing I want, and I think Y/N wants, is the truth of if you did cheat on her with Ye-na” Felix responds stoically
“she’s the only person I'll answer that question to” Hyunjin groans rubbing his temples “If she’d ever talk to me”
“You ever try just explaining”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, genius, you ever try just texting her your explanation and just hope she reads it?” Felix suggests. Hyunjin sat there with a dumbfounded look on his face “You’re a fucking idiot” Felix groans as Hyunjin shakes his head. Why had he never thought of that? “Instead of wasting your time begging her to talk to you and let you explain. You should just explain. If she responds, she responds, if she doesn’t then, well, at least you explained yourself.”

You don’t know what you were thinking when you decided clubbing with Karina, especially for the first time, was a terrible idea. The dress Karina put you in was WAY too form fitting and very short. The music was exceptionally loud, vibrating the room with its pulsing beat and the guys were......eh, from trashy pick-up lines, to just grinding against you while you danced. At this moment, you longed for the days where Jisung would flirt with you, at least there was.... well, finesse, if you had to choose a word for it. If you had to give anything to your ex and his friends they definitely knew how to flirt and get a girl to go home with them, and not due to just their devilishly handsome faces, they had an aura around them that spewed confidence and experience. But instead, here you stood, with a handsome guy yet you felt bored. You find yourself comparing him to Hyunjin a lot. He talks about himself a lot, Hyunjin didn’t do that at least he’d seem interested in you when you guys were together; this guy didn’t. You think his name was Ji-Han or Jin-Hwan or something. When he brushes a stray hair out of your face you notice the couple ring on his finger, you pull your head away from his touch when you feel an arm snake around your waist pulling you back toward their figure. “I’d appreciate it if you didn’t touch my girlfriend” a familiar deep voice stated from behind you. The guy stood in shock, before Felix pulled you farther down the bar.  You stare at him eyes widen; you bite your lip in embarrassment when you see the scowl on his face.
You think Felix, may be your guardian angel, you immediately wrap your arms around his neck; thanking him profusely. You felt him shake his head before wrapping his arms around your waist lifting you slightly. “You’re lucky you’re cute” He groans before he lets you go and ruffles your hair. “Why you so mad? Wait! Why are you here? Not that I don’t completely adore you but weren’t you with someone?” you question, his cheeks heat up with a pinkish glow before he shrugs. You gasp “Did you get rejected?”
“No!” He snaps, his scowl returning.
“Yongbokie~ say it isn’t so... you got rejected?” You tease.
His arms quickly wrap around your waist and presses your back against the bar. He brushes his lips against your cheek, you feel your face heat up when he places a soft peck on your cheek. “Do you think I’m the type to get rejected?” He nudges. His face makes its way toward your neck, his lips brushing over it gently. You feel yourself growing wetter by the minute. “Uh-I-I-Aww, Helmet cat got your tongue?” Felix cuts you off as he pulls back. Your eyes form a glare before you shove him back “You’re annoying” you groan. He smiles widely, his eyes forming crescents as he scrunches his nose. “You finally reacted though” He states proudly. Rolling your eyes “Yeah sure” you argue. “You did though...” He whines.
“Sure, Lix whatever you say” You deny behind red flushed cheeks.
“Deny it all you want but you want me, Helmet. I know I’m probably your ideal type but you have to control yourself Y/Nie. I’m supposed to be your best friend” He teases. You shake your head at his antics. “You can't kiss me, okay?” he continues. You fake a gag, before shoving him back, and allow your eyes to drift around the room. Though it was just more of Felix’s harmless playful flirting, it still felt wrong to have him so close to you. You knew it was stupid but your heart still longed for Hyunjin. It’s not that you didn’t enjoy Felix touching you, you just wished it was someone else. You hate that you longed for his touch, his lips, his everything. You knew what you had heard from Ye-na but you didn’t know if it was even true. The night you had broken up he said it wasn’t, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t lie to try to get you to stay. You wish you weren’t so.... fragile. The Ye-na situation had derailed you off track and you’re having a damn hard time getting back on it again. Felix was a great guy, he seemed like the type to be loyal if he was to be in a relationship. Sure, he was flirty while single but you also know that before returning to Seoul; he was in a long-term relationship that didn’t end well. So, who could blame him for enjoying the single life. “Can we find Karina?” You plead.
He nods taking a hold of your hand before leading you through the crowd. “I saw her by the booths before I got you” Felix states. You grasp his hand tightly as you make your way through the horde of sweaty bodies, making sure to avoid any spilling drinks. You couldn’t understand how this could be fun to anyone. You could barely hear anything, there was a cluster fuck of people, and the guys are creeps. You would appreciate the experience but this will not be repeated. You’re pulled out of your thoughts as you collide with Felix’s back. You notice him bent over, laughter spilling from his mouth as he slaps his knee. “Oh, this is too funny!” He cackles as he pulls out his phone and takes repeated pictures. Your eyes follow his line of vision only to be met with Karina placed on someone’s lap, their lips interlocked, her hand pulling his hair. You gasp in shock as they pull away. Your hand smacks over your mouth, “Jisung!” you exclaim as you dash toward the pair “Oh my god! Felix is going to have so much fun with this I’m telling you”
“Fun!? Dude, its already in the group chat. Yeji and Lia are dying” Felix exclaims between fits of laughter. Karina rolls her eyes “What? The guys are absolutely lame here and at least with Captain Thinks with his dick over here the corny flirting comes with a good reputation in bed.” She shrugs as she lifts herself off Jisung’s lap before leaning over and pressing her lips against Jisung’s once more “I’m going to the bathroom” she waves as she makes her way through the crowd. You take a seat next to Jisung. “So... when did, uh, this happen?” you question. “Honestly, I think like 15 minutes ago. She texted me said she was bored. I asked where she was. She told me. I came and uh next thing you know—Ehm- yeah" Jisung stammered behind blushed cheeks. “Oh, so you came.... alone?” Jisung nods. “that’s brave of you, it's pretty boring now I don’t know how you’d have a good time here” you whine. Jisung chuckles “Cause you’re supposed to be buzzed, doll”
“I’ve had like 2 drinks” you argue.
“What? Some fruity mixed drink that’s probably watered down?”
“So, then what should I drink?”
A mischievous smile forms on Jisung’s lips “Shots!”
______________________________________________________________
Note to self: Never go clubbing with Jisung again.
You were drunk.
So, fucking drunk.
He was right though; you were definitely having fun in the beginning. He lived up to his party reputation and you had the most fun you’ve had in a while. After the first shot, you felt warm as the liquid burned your throat. The second you took in quick succession as per Jisung’s advice. Your fingers felt tingly and the burning sensation wasn’t so bad. The third shot came after about 10 minutes, when the room stopped rocking. You had to give it up to Jisung, he definitely tried to make you pace yourself. But shots four, five, and six came and went while Karina decided she wanted to continue more of what they had started previously and Felix had found a friend for the night.
You regret not taking his advice as the room began spinning. You stagger your way out the door after sending a quick text to Karina and Felix explaining you were going home and getting an uber. If was cold outside you didn’t know, your body felt so hot. Your hair was way too long as it tickled your lower back. But in your drunken state of mind, you stare at your home screen you have yet to change and you find yourself dialing Hyunjin’s number. “Hell---Hello?!” His voice answers timidly. “Hyunnie~” you slur. “Babe, are you okay?” He inquires. You shake your head “No...Jisung helped me get drunk”
“He fucking what?!” Hyunjin growls. “Well, he told me to-to go slow but I didn’t it was so much fun Hyunnie. But I miss you so it wasn’t fun” You whine. “I miss you too baby” he confesses “So fucking much” his voice cracks. “I have to go home” you slur, pressing your back against the wall. “Where are you? How are you getting home?” There was concerned laced in his tone. “I don’t know” you shrug to yourself. “You don’t know where you are? Or you don’t know how you’re getting home?” He questions worriedly. “No, I’m at octagon club. I told Karina and Felix I'd get an uber but—sigh--I want to walk but the world is spinning.”
“You’re not walking home” He declares. “I’ll be there in 5”

Hyunjin was going to kill Han Jisung. He was as good as dead, not only had you gotten completely fucking blasted by what Hyunjin could tell. But his dear best friend has yet to be heard from. Hyunjin raged the whole way to the club, running almost every stop sign he came across. Hyunjin wanted to strangle Jisung a fuck ton more when he saw you sat on the ground, your head in your hands as you continued to struggle remain upright. Hyunjin barely came to a stop before he was putting the car in park and rushing toward you with a call of your name. His heart stopped in his chest as your head whipped up and you greeted him with the most beautiful smile.
“Hyunnie~!” you called as you reached out to him struggling to lift yourself off the ground. He quickly rushed to your side; taking a hold of your hand before wrapping his arms around your waist pulling you into his frame. He was taken aback when he felt your arms snake around his neck, you press your chest against his. He can’t help himself but to tighten his grip on you. He felt everything stop. Fuck everything about you was absolutely perfect. He buries his face in your neck, he sighs. “Wow! Your hairs black!” you exclaim surprise in your tone.He can only nod in response. He knows it's wrong, you were drunk and you 100% did not want to see him let alone have him touch you but, you were so fucking adorable and he missed this so fucking much that he needed to hold onto it for as long as he could. Fuck Jisung, fuck this club, and Hyunjin won't begin to think about all the guys that probably thought they had a chance with you in this dress cause holy fuck! For this moment, things were back to the way they were before. He hated that he had to end it, but you needed to get home and out of the cold. You were probably so drunk you didn’t notice how freezing it was.
His fingers brushed your hair away from your face, placing his hands over your cheeks. “It's so cold out baby let me take you home, hmm?” He urged. You nod in response. Your fingers played with his as he walked you to his car. You whined as he removed his hand from yours “I have to open the door, princess” he whispers as he softly strokes your cheek before helping you into the passenger seat and buckling you up; while turning to close the door, he feels your hand wrap around his forearm. “Where are you going?” you query, worry filling your eyes. A sad smile forms on his lips, he caresses your cheek eyes finding yours. “I have to drive, silly girl” he explains softly. Your eyes stay connected for what feels like forever. He wants to remember your face right now forever. Your eyes telling of your love for him, the light pink blush gracing your cheeks. You were absolutely beautiful.
Hyunjin contemplates just closing the door and just going into the driver's seat as he feels the familiar feeling of your soft, velvet lips. He holds back a moan at the unexpected kiss, but responds almost instantly. Hyunjin missed this too, the feeling of your lips on his. Your mouths move in sync. Your tongue pokes out from your lips making its way into Hyunjin’s mouth and moan as your tongues connect. A sound that sends a shock straight down and suddenly his pants felt exceptionally tight. He was lost in the feeling, so much so that he almost forgot, you wouldn’t want this if you were sober; but as your fingers gripped his hair and he heard the familiar whines he knew this is where the line needed to be drawn. The last thing Hyunjin wanted to do was take advantage of your drunken state. And as much as he truly did miss how amazing the sex was, he knew that you’d never talk to him again if he continued; so, reluctantly, He pulls away and makes his way over to drivers' side and gets in.
The ride to your dorm was awkward to say the least. He had so much he wanted to say, apologies sit on the tip of his tongue. At this moment, Felix’s words rang through his head. Hyunjin felt as if he should just explain. You were sitting right there; sure, you were drunk and your reaction probably wouldn’t be the best right now but at least he’d get the chance to explain. He could feel your eyes burning into him and he wasn’t sure if you could tell but Hyunjin’s heart was racing. He practically jumped when he felt your hand snake onto his thigh making its way toward his member. Reacting quickly his hand wraps around your wrist “Whoa! What are you doing?” He exclaims. Did Hyunjin want you to practically beg for him again? Of course. But you were drunk and he was probably the last person you’d want to sleep with when sober. He loved you too much to let you do something you’d probably regret. “I miss you...” You pout. His resolve almost melts when he sees the puppy dog look in your eyes.
“I miss you too baby but you don’t want to do this right now....” He whispers. He thanks God as he pulls into your dorm parking lot. “You’re home” he states softly as he takes your hand into his. You stare at your dorm before your eyes drift back to him. He notices the tears in your eyes, your hands are shaky. “What’s wrong?” He inquires. “I don’t want to go...I’m so fucking hurt-you hurt me so bad.” You cried “But I don’t want to go” Your eyes connected; He felt his heart break all over again “You don’t understand how fucking sorry I am. I love you I swear I love you so fucking much, I never meant to hurt you baby. I’m so fucking sorry” His voice cracks as he holds your hand tightly against his chest. His eyes never leave yours. “But we can’t have this conversation right now, you’re drunk you need sleep. I promise tomorrow, I’ll tell you everything.” He promises. Your eyes flash back to your dorm, before you nod.
“Tomorrow...”
______________________________________________________________
You regret getting so drunk last night.
You had a massive migraine and you felt so fucking nauseous. But at least you could still remember most of your night, besides the walk to your dorm. Were you embarrassed? No not really.
Did you regret it?......you weren’t sure. You had definitely appreciated Hyunjin not accepting your advances. BUT were you feeling up to talking to him today? No, and not cause you were still angry at this point you were more confused; but because you were 100% hungover. So, you instead of immediately texting Hyunjin to set up a time to talk, you took some Tylenol and rushed to the campus café. You quickly regretted running as you collide with the petite figure of someone coming out of the door. “I’m so sorry I should have been paying attention” You apologize reaching toward the girl, freezing in shock as you come face to face with Ye-na She went to snap a response before she mouths an ‘oh’ and taking your hand. With a shaky breath your grasp on her tightens “C-can we talk?” you ask shyly. She nods with a hesitance following you back into the café.
The vibe was awkward and off as you both sipped your coffee silently, eyes looking everywhere around the room but at each other. “So, what’d you want to talk about?” “So did you know I was in the room that night?” You both question at the same time. You giggle at the timing. “That was impeccable timing” Ye-na chuckles before taking a sip of her coffee before continuing “But to answer your question, honestly, no. I didn’t.” she sighs. You nod in response before taking another sip of your coffee “Woul-would you have still said what you said if you did?”
She ponders on your question for a moment before she lets out a heavy sigh “If you want the truth?” you nod in response “well then, no I wouldn’t have.” She answers matter of factly. You look at her confused “Why not?”
“Well, the night you over heard me a few minutes before Hyunjin had kinda lost his shit on me. Again. Told me to leave him alone and to stop calling and texting him because what happened was a mistake and he loved you so he needed me to stop” She confesses. “But you said---oh I know what you heard, but he told me that months ago. Like right around the summer, I’m not gonna lie and say what I did was right too Y/N. And even though, me and Hyunjin had what we had. I never wanted to be the one to tell you that. I’m pretty surprised you haven’t lost your shit on me yet honestly”
You shrug. “You weren’t my boyfriend.”
“So?” She counters before crossing her arms over her chest “Not to be a bitch or anything but I 100% knew about you; and just didn’t care honestly. See, here’s your problem Y/N cause obviously no one will give it to you straight. I’m not the only girl Hyunjin’s been with while he was with you. His reputation follows him and every single one of us knew what it was. Just like you probably did before you two made things official. I didn’t care he had a girlfriend, I didn’t care about your feelings, and I didn’t care if you gave a shit or not. I wanted a good time and he gave that to me for a bit and eventually I started caring. I hate myself for what I did but still I never wanted you to find out, especially when we were put in the same class. Like let's be real here no one would ever want to admit to the girlfriend of the guy you're hanging out with that you got rejected.”
Your mouth hangs open at her honesty. You weren’t sure what to say, and while you appreciated her brazenness, you felt your blood boiling. “So is side chick your full-time gig or are you just on call?” you snap. She chuckles, almost to herself before her face falls flat. She crosses her right leg over her left before letting her arm fall into her lap holding up her chin “See, I knew you had some fire in you. Look, you asked I answered what you do with that is beyond me.” Your hangover long forgotten, and a fire in your eyes. “So what? You wanted to just be on the side until you got bored?” she shakes her head “Oh no, I’ll be real here, I saw the way Hyunjin looked at you. I knew at some point he’d realize what a dumbass he was being and it’d eventually stop; but, I was enjoying it while it lasted. He called things off months ago” To say you were now beyond confused would be an understatement, and while her reputation is definitely accurate about her bitchiness, she seemed honest. You heard something you weren’t supposed to, something that set the spark that ignited the flame behind your rage that night.
“So, is that all?...or can I go?”

Yeji and Lia were quite the pair.
Apart from you and Karina, they were absolutely hilarious when they got together, they always seemed to make you laugh; and with Karina completely in the wind and flaking on your group's traditional hangover chill day-the first one in your honor by the way-you were left partner less until Yeji came over with Felix in tow. You and Lia couldn’t contain your laughter as Yeji dragged Felix into your living room with Karina’s matching bright lilac hairband across his head. “Oh, no fair why am I purple? Lia’s green?” Felix whines as he stomps his foot in place. “What’s wrong with purple?” Lia questions “and this is aquamarine” she declares with a point to her headband. “Purples for girls switch with me” He cries. “No!” Lia proclaims.
“Pleeeeeeaaaaaaassssssseeeee”
“Hmmmmmm......No”
“Pwease”
“How bout no”
“Pl--Holy Fuck! Felix if you say please again my head will explode. Switch with me” You growl, pulling your headband off and holding it out toward him. “Ooo Pink!” He exclaims excitedly. Yeji giggles as she finishes setting up her portable projector. “Felix?” she calls. His eyes are bright as he smiles in her direction “Yeah?” “You’re adorable” She smiles as she makes her way over to your couch ruffling his hair as she takes a seat next to him. He forms his hands in the shape of a heart before separating them and placing each half of the heart on his cheeks.  “Ahhh! Felix-oppa! I love you!  you’re the best idol in the world” You tease. Lia grips your hands as she joins in on your teasing. “Felix-oppa! Give us a song oppa!” you laugh as you and Lia jump in circles. “Ha.Ha.Ha. You’re both top tier comedians” Felix groans. “Lix, what do you mean? You literally rejected that scout from JYP” You ask whispering the JYP as you release yourself from Lia and make your way over to the couch. “I mean I don’t think being an idol would be for me”
“Oh, come on Lix it was a joke” Lia whines “Yeah besides you could definitely be an idol. You’re an amazing dancer, you got the image for it” You mention. “And personality” Yeji adds. “Yeah! You have an awesome personality for an idol too, your fans would probably call you something adorable like sunshine or something cause of your personality” Felix blushes, bringing his hands to his face hiding. “Stop~!” He whines in embarrassment. You roll your eyes “Fine....so what are we doing first Yeji.” a mischievous smile forms on her lips “Well......” she giggles before she pulls out 4 mics from her bag.
“OH, COME ON!” Felix shouts

“Baby, Nal teojil geotcheoreom anajwo, Geuman saenggakae mwoga geuri eoryeowo Geojinmalcheoreom kiss-haejwo naega neoege, Majimak sarangin geotcheoreom Majimakcheoreom (Yeah) ma-ma-majimakcheoreom (Yeah) Majimak bamin geotcheoreom love Majimakcheoreom (Yeah) ma-ma-majimakcheoreom (Yeah) Naeil ttawin eomneun geotcheoreom love” You guys sang. You laughed internally as you and Felix also did the choreography and ended up facing each other in Lisa’s part of the choreography. You smile in victory as the words WINNER flash across yours and Felix’s screen.
“What’s the next song?” Felix giggles to Yeji. She shrugs “I don’t know it's your turn to choose Lixie” she states as she hands him her phone so he can go through the catalog. You take a seat on the couch with a heavy breath as Lia takes a seat next to you. “I don’t know how that boy has so much energy after last night” you groan. Lia gives a small giggle “He’s not human that’s why” she suggests. You ponder her statement for a moment “True” you both chuckle to yourselves. “But I actually just wanted to see how you were doing you know? You still haven’t really told me how your talk with Ye-na went. Or if you are actually going to meet with Hyunjin later”
You sigh at her words “Well, I’m okay honestly. And my talk with Ye-na went.......fine.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean she lives up to her reputation of being a grade A bitch.” You explain “But at least I got what I think is the truth from her” Lia stares at you dumbfounded. “And what about Hyunjin?” You shrug “What about him? Honestly, I was going to talk to him tonight which honestly, I’m not particularly ready to see him, especially after what I did last night....”
“Girl what did you do last night?!”
“Nothing crazy, just tried to get Hyunjin to sleep with me” You groan in embarrassment. “YOU SLEPT WITH HIM?” Lia exclaims. Yeji’s and Felix’s eyes flash to you “Slept with who?” Yeji questions. You shake your head rapidly “No one. Nothing” you give Lia a glare, she sinks in her seat with her hand placed over her mouth. “Y/N who’d you sleep with?” Yeji urged. “No one honestly I just TRIED to sleep with someone and thank god they weren’t an asshole and knew I was drunk” You explain your glare not leaving Lia’s face. She mouthed a sorry before Twice’s Dance the Night Away played through your speakers. Felix jumped as he quickly paused the song “Sorry.” You, Lia, and Yeji laughed at the sudden interruption.
“Felix you’re so cute”

Hyunjin couldn’t help but be on edge all day.
You hadn’t texted or called and its almost 5, he felt himself slowly falling into insanity. His leg shaking rapidly as he checked his phone for what felt like the hundredth time today. Why hadn’t you texted? Hyunjin felt his heart racing as Changbin and Seungmin, Hyunjin’s dorm mate, shouted as they played their game. Hyunjin was nervous at how things would go, and while he knew the chances of you forgiving him were slim, he hoped you would give him another chance. He knew how badly he continuously fucked up before but he’d be different. He hopes you can remember how things had changed before you had left him, that you can see he does love you and he’d never do anything else to ruin it.
He watched as the clock went up a minute. Then another, then another before his screen timed out. “Why don’t you just call her?” Changbin suggested pulling Hyunjin out of his thoughts. “Huh?” He called in confusion. Changbin and Seungmin look at each other before laughing. “Call her” The older male suggests. “I have remember? She doesn’t answer” He responds sarcasm dripping off his words. “Wasn’t that before she agreed to talk to you today though?” Seungmin asks. Hyunjin nods slowly “I don’t want to harass her though, what if she changed her mind?”
“Then she’s a bitch for not letting you know” Seungmin snaps.
“Hey! Don’t talk about her like you know her” He warns.
Seungmin rolls his eyes, before focusing back on the game. “I’m just saying she got your hopes up for nothing if she changed her mind, the least she could do is at least let you know that you two won't be talking today and she needs more time”
“You act like she owes him anything honestly” Changbin mumbles, but Hyunjin heard it. He knew his friend was mad at how things played out, Changbin was big on loyalty and honesty. Even though, Hyunjin was one of his best friends it didn’t mean Changbin would hide his anger at Hyunjin’s treatment of you during the beginning of your relationship. The night you ended things whilst Jisung comforted him, Changbin tried to contain his laughter. His ‘I told you so’s’ became a daily routine for Hyunjin. Hyunjin couldn’t blame him though, Changbin had warned him to stop messing with you and take things seriously. Hyunjin could only wish he could go back and listen to him. If he did, he wouldn’t be in the situation he’s in now. You’d still be his. He’d still be able to call you if he just wanted to hear your voice. He wishes he could go back and kick his past self’s ass. Scream at him how fucking terrible it is without you. Changbin was right, you didn’t owe him anything, so Hyunjin sat quiet staring at your contact hoping something---anything would come through from it.
Hyunjin’s gaze was pulled away by Changbin snatching his phone. Panic filled his chest “Wait! What are you doing?” he called as he went to grab his phone back. Seungmin jumps from his place on the couch standing between him and Changbin. “I’m calling Y/N” Changbin confesses as he presses the phone to his ear. “NO! No” He cries “Please dude I’m not kidding----Hello? Y/N? Yeah, its Changbin” Hyunjin’s eyes widen as he can hear your voice through the phone “Hang up! I’m not kidding Hang up” He pleaded tears practically blinding him as he struggled against Seungmin hold. “Oh yeah Hyunjin is right here, yeah I mean it’s a little weird I guess but I don’t have your number so...” Changbin winked at him, Hyunjin felt as if he would combust. “Oh, I mean he’s kinda tied up right now but I could definitely get him to meet you there.” Hyunjin froze in his place as Changbin continued “Yeah I think he’ll be there before that but yeah that works” “What’s she saying?” He whispers, Changbin holds his finger up. “Okay, but you should definitely text me Y/Nie~ who else is going to help me with.......you know what” The male whined.
“Help you with what?” Hyunjin whispered.
Changbin shushed him “Well it was nice talking to you I’ll see you later bye Y/Nie~” Hyunjin stared at Changbin dumbfounded as he hung up the phone and handed it to him. “You guys got chips?” Changbin questioned casually. Hyunjin’s lips parted as he stood there with his phone in his hand, staring at Changbin. “Well....” He urged. Changbin looked at him confused.
“Well, what?”
“What did she say?”
“She wants to talk to you” Changbin shrugged.
Hyunjin’s eyes widen “And you were going to what? Just not tell me?!” He quickly started looking for his keys and wallet. Grabbing a bucket hat and hoodie in the process. The muscular male chuckled to himself as he crossed his arms over his chest. “I was, when it was a few minutes before she said cause, I knew If I said anything you’d race out the door like you’re trying to do now besides you don’t even know where she wants you to meet her” Hyunjin stops in his tracks, “Where?” Changbin shrugs, Hyunjin pouts and stomps his foot “Tell meeeeee” he whines. And while Hyunjin knows he sounds pathetic; he’s not going to waste any more time. If there was a way to fix things then he was going to do it. But with his friend knowing him way too well and you saying a specific time Hyunjin knew he would have to wait. With that in mind, he stomped his way over to the couch. A pout on his lips, he crossed his arms over his chest and stared daggers at Changbin. Hyunjin wasn’t sure how much time went by as Changbin played on his phone ignoring Hyunjin’s death glare.
“Her apartment, 5 minutes” He states with a smug smirk on his lips and a wink.
“5 MINUTES!?” Hyunjin cries as he jumps from the couch and rushes toward the door.
“YOU ACT LIKE YOU WONT BE THERE IN TWO!!” He hears Changbin call as he sprints out the door.
______________________________________________________________
You paced back and forth as the clock got closer and closer to 6.
Your heart was performing a full drum solo in your chest, your palms were sweaty and you felt like you were underwater. While you found it odd that Changbin had called you from Hyunjin’s phone you were grateful for him being the one to actually let Hyunjin know when to come talk. You had put it off for most of the day and after your conversation with Ye-na you were still utterly confused on what the entire truth was. You were happy Lia was willing to hang out at Yeji’s place while you and Hyunjin talked. You were also exceptionally grateful for Karina for having dropped off a bottle of vodka and encouraged you to do a shot; cause while you did feel anxious, at least you still felt brave enough to have this conversation. You weren’t sure what Hyunjin would say and you didn’t know what your relationship would be after tonight. There were two things you were sure about 1. Your relationship with Hyunjin was toxic and things would have to change drastically if you were to take him back. And 2. you still loved him despite the way he had treated you; you still loved him. You poured another shot, along with drinking you’ve picked up another bad habit since your break up with Hyunjin, smoking. And no, not something disgusting like cigarettes but you do find yourself lighting up a blunt and taking a couple of drags here and there.
You enjoyed the calming feeling that came from marijuana. With your anxiety through the roof and having had a panic attack in front of him, Yeonjun from your dance class hooked you up with his guy. For the first day or two, you only smoked with Yeonjun in his dorm. But when Felix began questioning the nature of your friendship with Choi Yeonjun, knowing his bad boy reputation, you began to slowly distance yourself from Yeonjun. Felix found out shortly after about your little habit but promised not to say anything to anyone else. You found yourself surprised when your new smoking buddy became Felix. Only smoking when you felt huge bouts of anxiety coming on and you needed to calm down. Your pulled away from your thoughts as a series of rapid knocks came to your door. You jumped in a panic quickly putting the blunt out on your tongue before stashing it away under a magazine on the coffee table. “Shit” You groaned as you tried to fan the smoke away. You rush to the door almost tripping over your shoes before you pull the door open with a sigh. You stare down your ex as your chest heaves, you notice him leaning against the door frame struggling to catch his breath “You, okay? You look like you ran a marathon” Hyunjin struggled to get out in-between gasps.
“You’re one to talk” You counter gesturing to him. You notice suspicion in his eyes “What’s that smell?” your heart sinks in your chest. “What? Oh, yeah Felix got me into those incense things recently” you lie “trust me babe I’ve been to plenty of parties to know what weed smells like so try that again” Hyunjin calls your bluff. You swallow nothing, you find yourself growing irritated at the smug smirk on his lips. When you were together you would have immediately cracked and probably told him everything, but now, oh now you wanted to whip that smirk off his face “Are you going to keep interrogating me? Or are we going to talk about what we actually need to talk about?” You snap. “And don’t act like you have a right to ask me anything personal right now” His whole confident demeanor is washed away by your words; you notice the panic in his eyes as he stands straight; the smirk no longer on his lips instead there sat a small pout. “Fine...can I come in or is that question too personal too?”  You roll your eyes before stepping to the side and allowing him entry.
“Soo, where is it then huh?” He asks casually.
“Where’s what?”
He chuckles at your question “Nothing” his eyes drift around the room. You and Lia hadn’t changed much in the time since he’s last been here, beside the smell of marijuana, it was pretty much the same. He notices the one magazine out of place and glances in your direction. “What? What are you looking for?” You question, irritation leaks into your tone. “Your weed” He shrugs. You two stand across the room for what felt like hours, just staring at each other. Your eyes in a battle with one another, eventually you realize he’s not going to let this go and you wanted answers so with a heavy heart you roll your eyes before making your way over to the coffee table and toss the magazine to the side. “There. Happy?” You groan frustrated before falling back onto your couch. “Ecstatic” He replies sarcastically. “Like come on Y/N you really thought I'd be okay with you doing that?”
“You don’t do weed, Hyunjin”
“That’s not my fucking point Y/N and you know it! Why are you smoking in the first place?”
You couldn’t help but laugh “If you gave any of a shit during our relationship, you’d know I have an anxiety disorder.” You lean forward grabbing the vodka bottle and pour yourself a shot. “I did give a shit.” “What? When I broke up with you? I mean come on” You toss the shot back swallowing it whole “You didn’t give a shit not for a long time” Hyunjin stood in place dumbfounded. This is not how this conversation was supposed to go, but right now at least it was something, and even though he was raging at the idea of you being high right now he had to give it you; you were right, he didn’t know you had an anxiety disorder. Why didn’t he know that? “Look I know I fucked up, but I care about you and I know what can happen if you’re high and just not paying attention”
“I smoke when I’m home or with.... someone I’m not stupid.”
“Someone? Who Felix?”
“No....just...someone”
“Well, someone is going to get their ass kicked so Y/N needs to let me know who”
“Why?”
Hyunjin’s jaw was clenched, you’ve never been this difficult and it was hard for him not to let his jealousy show. He needed to know who the fuck got you to smoke and he needed to teach them to stay in their place. “Fuck Y/N! Just tell me!” He growls, his fists clenched. “No! I don’t have to tell you shit! You're going to ruin my connect. Why don’t you go question Ye-na or any of the other sluts you cheated on me with?” Hyunjin had nothing to say to that. He stared at you with hurt in his eyes “It wasn’t like that” he mumbled “So what was it like then?” He wasn’t sure how to answer that question. While he was willing to answer any questions you had he himself wasn’t sure what it was like honestly. “I don’t know.... just not this fucking picture you have in your mind about things” He grumbled. “You don’t know what I'm thinking right now” You retort. “You’re right. I don’t know what the fuck you’re thinking right now! You've been naïve but you’ve never been fucking stupid” He argued. “So, I’m stupid now?!” You cross your arms over your chest “When you’re smoking weed and getting black out drunk? yes!”
“I wasn’t black out dr----You called me! Just fucking stop Y/N. You’re doing stupid shit and you’re going to get yourself hurt. Bad.” He cut you off. He didn’t understand why you were being this way and whilst he was supposed to be explaining the Ye-na situation, he couldn’t help but be angry at your recklessness. “You’d know all about that right?” you snap. “YOU ACT LIKE I MEANT TO HURT YOU” He shouted. You reach for the bottle again but Hyunjin’s quicker and snatches it from your grasp. “You’ve drank enough for the past two days don’t you think?” He growls as he places the bottle down on your shelf.  You stare daggers at him in response. A smirk on your face as you reach for your blunt and put it to your lips “Fucking stop! Y/N”
“Oh please! Look at you, you’re acting all high and mighty. Your hypocrisy is showing Hyunjin” you challenge as you light the blunt. Your eyes not leaving his. “I haven’t smoked for a while Y/N. I haven’t done anything I used to do for a while” he confesses, realizing there were more important things to talk about. He hopes you catch the double meaning behind his words. You sat quietly taking in a long drag before releasing the smoke. “Is that supposed to impress me or something? I don’t think you realize how much this whole thing fucked me up---How you fucked me up, Hyunjin!” you exclaim, quickly getting to your feet. “Fuck please just-just tell me what to do then?! I don’t know what you fucking want! I’m trying and the more I try the more you pull away! You think this shit is easy for me? It’s not! You ripped my fucking heart out too you know? Instead of just talking to me or even letting me say fucking anything you ended things and that’s only because I found you that night!” He growls crossing his arms over his chest. His eyes are filled with fire. “Oh boo-fucking-Hoo your girlfriend found out you cheated and dumped you how fucking sad” you retort “Do you need a hug?” you couldn’t contain your sarcasm. You were beyond livid. How dare he sit there and act like he was an innocent bystander.
“Can you be fucking serious for one minute? fucking Christ.”
“Can you be honest for one minute?”
“What?! You wanna know if I cheated on you?!” He argues, you stare at him with fury behind your eyes “no I kno---Yeah! I fucked Ye-na…..months ago! When I didn’t give a fuck about you or this relationship!” He cuts you off, you notice the anger dissipating from him being replaced with guilt and regret. You’re frozen in place and Hyunjin makes his way around the coffee table and places himself in front of you, his hands firmly wrapped around your arms.  “But I haven’t cheated on you in months, I’ve been with no one else in almost a year! I know its fucked up, I know I’m wrong for what I did but I changed.” His voice cracks as your eyes drift around the room, you could feel your anger leaving you as well, whilst he confesses. “What changed then?” you question, your voice is almost inaudible. “You. Well, I wanted to change for you. I’ll tell you everything you want to know but please just at least don’t drink anymore today, okay? I’m not kidding it was really scary to find you like that last night. I know what I did ruined my right to care but I do, I care so fucking much. And I need you to be okay, not amazing, not happy even, but at least okay” His hands find themselves holding your face to make you look at him. Your fingers wrap around his wrist.
“Hyun, I’m fine....”
He shakes his head in response “Now who’s the one that won't be honest? You’re not fine and I know I’m part of the reason for that. I should have been better to you, I was confused about how I felt and I-I---sigh----I fucked up, so fucking bad. But once I realized how I felt I tried so hard to fix things and change and just leave that shit behind.” you stare at him in shock. You find your legs growing wobbly and your chest is tightening. You can feel your breathing getting heavier and heavier the more Hyunjin talks. You remove Hyunjin’s grasp on you and take a seat on the couch, you knew your anxiety would be off the charts. “Ca-can I ask you something then?” You ask, your voice is small. “Anything” Hyunjin sits on the table, you give him a small glare “Is me answering question more important than your stupid rule?” he argues before you can scold him for sitting on your table. “Did I mean anything to you? Like at all? I’m not going to lie I was so fucking confused for such a long time and I’m really tired of it.” Hyunjin’s hand ran over his face before finding its way to the back of his neck. “You mean everything to me....” His words are practically whispers. “So why---I can’t answer that. I promised myself I wouldn’t lie to you so I won't answer that question” He cut you off.
“You said you’d answer everything”
“I said you could ask me anything, please, just know things are different now than they were, okay?”
“Hyunjin I need to know....”
“I can tell you how I feel now, I don’t feel the same way anymore so why does it matter?”
There they were again. The same question he always asked; does it matter? And for once you have a genuine answer “Yes it matters.” He sighs in response, grabbing the blunt that went out long ago from your hand and the lighter. You stare at him as he lights it and takes a long hit off it. You notice the way his hands are shaky and tears well up in his eyes. “Fine, honestly, when this all started, I didn’t really care. ---obviously---just listen. Y/N. I didn’t care and not because of you but because you know how I felt about relationships.” He confesses. “So, why’d even ask me out in the first place? In case you forgot Hyunjin, the whole reason we were even in a relationship was because you initiated it.” You question, puzzled. “I-I know I did, I got jealous honestly...---of who? I was only hooking up with you at the time” You cut him off “Minho and a little Han but mostly Minho” He states honestly. “Huh?” now you were really confused, why Minho? He was your dance partner last year and was the best dancer of 3rd year. But you two were no more than acquaintances at most and while you did spend a lot of time with him last year it was always about dance.
“There was a rumor going around that Minho was going to confess and ask you out....”
“And so, you asked first? So, he couldn’t?”
Hyunjin nods in response, “I know it's stupid, and we were hooking up so I should’ve trusted that you liked me but I was insanely fucking jealous and it just happened. But I don’t regret it, I fell in love with you and I want to show you things would be different. I ended things with Ye-na almost as soon as they happened and—fuck—I know how badly I fucked up. I just want to fix things, I want to be with you, I feel so lost without you. I love you and I’ll make you trust me again.” You felt your heart clench at the softness in his tone. He seemed scared, he kept fidgeting as he allowed the blunt to go out and placed it on your table beside him. His breathe was shaky as he explained. “Would you have ever told me?” You ask “a-about anything?” he shakes his head “If I knew for a fact that you wouldn’t have broken up with me then yes but otherwise, I never wanted you to find out.”
“Why?”
“Huh?”
“Why wouldn’t you tell me?”
“Because look what happened when you found out! Fuck I lost you and that was the whole reason I stopped everything with everyone but you because I didn’t want to lose you but Ye-na told you whatever she told you that night and I didn’t know what to do. You weren’t answering my messages and I was fucking panicking because I just wanted to get you out of there because she was fucking pissed. But she saw you first---I still don’t understand how everything happened---all I know is that losing you has been the worst thing that’s ever happened to me right now and I just-I want to be with you. I can be better; I’ll do whatever you want. I can make you happy.” He cried, he held onto your hands. Tears stream down his face, you stare at him sadly “It wasn’t just the cheating, Hyunjin. You can’t say you didn’t act like I wasn’t a burden. I know you said things would change but how can I be sure of that? For a long time, things were…. bad and I don’t want to be hurt again” you state hesitantly. “I won’t—I’ll be better I can help you trust me. I can love you the right way. I’ve never done this before but I’ll figure it out for you. Anything. Please just-just take me back, you don’t have to completely forgive me but please tell me I didn’t ruin things forever. Fuck I need to know you still love me, please tell me you still love me” He pleaded, he was on his knees his eyes never leaving yours. Rivers of tears flow down his angelic face.
Your heart racing, you remove your hand from his, caressing his cheek wiping tears from their descent. “of course, I still love you. But I’m so fucking hurt and I don’t know if I could trust you.” He shakes his head “N-no do-don’t say that please. You can trust me. I’ll prove to you that you can please just give me a chance. I won’t hurt you again” he begs reaching into his pocket and unlocking his phone before shoving it in your hands. “You can go through it. Everything. And you can do that until you trust me again. I will do everything I can to be with you again.” You stare at the device in your hands, you notice his wallpaper. A selfie you had sent him a few months ago from your dance practice with Felix for the showcase. You felt butterflies fluttering in your stomach as you locked the device and handed it back to him “I-I don’t want to do that. I’m not that kind of person, Hyun and as much as I want to try things again, I can’t do that until I can trust you again.” Hyunjin buried his face in your neck, his arms wrapping around your waist. You felt his tears on your shoulder as he held you. “I can’t-I can’t lose you give me a chance just one chance please” He begged.
“Hyun...”
He pulls back slightly, your eyes connect. Your faces centimeters apart. “You’re everything to me....” He whispers pressing his forehead against yours. “I won’t fuck this up again. I need you” Your bottom lip finds its way between your teeth. You hate how just him being close could affect you so badly. “I-I-I do-don’t know.... Hyun, I love you b-but I’m scared honestly. How can you know that yo-you won’t cheat on me again or something? I can’t deal with being hurt like that again” You profess. “I’ll give you my passwords, you can have the code to my phone, anything---everything I don’t care give me a chance please, you saw that I was changing babe you know I can make you happy. I did once, I can do it again. Better. I love you I want to give you all of me please” He begged. You weren’t sure what to say. You wanted to be with him, fuck you only wanted to be with him. Your heart ached for him every day since you had broken up, but you felt like it could also be a big mistake. You stared at him for a moment, everything about him was objectively the same. He still had the same flawless skin, the same seductive look in his eye; even when he wasn’t trying to have it, the same plush kissable pouty lips, but something was different and you weren’t entirely sure what, and whilst his new black hair had been quite the surprise last night. You knew that was definitely not what was different. But you definitely wanted to find out.
You felt your heart race as you tilt your chin up connecting your lips. You felt butterflies fluttering in your gut as you feel that familiar spark. Hyunjin sat in shock for a second before he responded quickly. His heart soared as he felt your lips mold into his, his hand finding its way to your waist as he deepened the kiss parting your lips with his tongue. You open your mouth accepting his tongues exploration. He loved that you always allowed him dominance in your relationship, never once battling to be in charge. He missed your taste so much his mouth practically watered as your tongues dance around in your mouth. Your fingers find their way into his midnight locks.
You both find yourselves sprawled across the couch, your back pressed against the cushions as Hyunjin straddled you; your legs wrapped around his waist as you devoured each other's mouths. A small moan escapes from your throat as Hyunjin grinds his hips into yours. His lips make their way to your throat. “H-Hyun...” You moan. “Tell me you’re mine” He begs “Please, baby?” You feel your panties growing wet “A-all yours, Hyunnie” Hyunjin could practically cry at your words; He presses his lips against yours roughly, putting every ounce of emotion he could into the kiss. “I love you” He confesses as he pulls away stroking your hair behind your ear. “Fuck... you’re so fucking beautiful baby” you feel your cheeks heat up, you bury your face in his neck. “Stoooopppp” you whine. “No, I’m so fucking happy right now baby” He smiles adjusting you both so you were straddling his lap. His hands find their way to your thighs, stroking them up and down, lovingly. You giggle at his actions, “You’re something else”
“Tell me you love me” He pouts.
“Hyun...”
“Tell me!”
“Hyunnie...”
“Baby~ Tell me you love mee”
You roll your eyes at his whining. A smile placed firmly on your lips as he stared at you with a pout. “Fuck you’re so cute I love you too” you break. A wide smile forms on his lips his arms wrap around your torso pulling you into his chest. “I won’t fuck up this time. I promise baby” “I hope not, I’m really scared still, Hyun” You confess. “I know baby, but I know what it's like to be without you now. I’m not doing it again; you’re stuck with me. All I see is you now baby” He admits shyly. you kiss him in response, grinding your hips into his. You almost jump as you feel his hard member against your clothed core. His hands find their way to your hips holding you in place “Fuck, you can’t do that” He warns. You look at him with a pout. “Why not?”
“Because, baby, you just can’t right now” He states.
“But...” you kiss his neck seductively, nibbling and sucking on his sweet spot; you felt his grip on you grow tighter. “It’s been so long, and I want you so bad right now” You hear him sigh “Fuck...” He whispers under his breath. “Baby, stop, please I want to do things the right way” He can feel his resolve breaking the more you continue. If there was one thing Hyunjin knew for sure, it was that the last thing he truly wanted in this world right now was for you to stop. “Don’t you want me?” you question. “More than anything else in the world right now” He missed you, in every way. Not only has it been a really fucking long time since he last was even able to think about sex with anyone but his hand, but in that time, he found himself always feeling exceptionally heartbroken every time he thought about sex with anyone but you. If anyone wanted it right now, Hyunjin definitely did, but he wanted to do things right this time. His past self would hate him for what he was trying to do without question.
“Please....daddy, I can be so good for you.” you pleaded. “F-fuck...I-I know you can baby, you always are.” He soothes, rubbing your thigh with his thumb “I need to do things the right way with you, this time” His voice is almost inaudible. You grind yourself against him once more, “whyyyyy~” you whine. You guide his hand up your thigh to your hips and under your shirt placing them on your rubs just under your breasts. Hyunjin’s eyes are stuck on your now partially exposed torso, his mouth waters at the feeling the pressure from your hips are causing on his fully hard member. You find yourself growing more and more aroused as time went on. His bottom lip finds its way between his teeth as you continue grinding against him. “babyyyy stop~” he coos, his cheeks heat up and while he’s used to you being submissive and always eager for sex, he’s never had you literally begging for it before. You just took him back and he wasn’t going to immediately just jump back into things like before. But God did he want to fuck you right now.
You leaned forward once more kissing his neck, you heard the groans under his breath. You thrived in knowing how badly you were affecting him. “Fuck….” He growled as he wraps his arms around your waist tightly holding you still. He flips the two of you over, pressing his lips to yours before pulling himself off of you. You pout at his actions “what are you doing?” you question, puzzled. “Taking you somewhere to get food, because someone can’t control herself” He teases with a wink. You roll your eyes at him “watch how fast I reject you next time” you mumble as you lift yourself from your couch and make your way toward your room. “I heard that. Don’t play that game with me cause I will definitely win baby. But where are you going?” He states with a raised eyebrow. “To change I can’t go out in this” you gesture to your clothes. You rush into your room closing the door behind you. You make your way into your closet and grab a tight long sleeve and jeans. You notice Hyunjin laying across your bed, his arm placed behind his head a comfortable smile placed on his lips. You toss your clothes at him “you know I closed the door for a reason, right?” you muse. He nods “you know I don’t give a fuck right, I missed you.” He pouts “I had to go two months without even seeing you, you’re not leaving my side for a while.” He declares.
“I have to sleep and stuff Hyun”
he shrugs “so? You act like I won’t just not leave.” He tosses your clothes at you before crossing his arms over his chest. You chuckle in response, changing into your clothes. “You act like I’d have a problem with that baby” Hyunjin’s cheeks grow red at your words. “O-okay” he stammers shyly. You’ve always called him Hyun, or Hyunnie or on the rare occasion Jinnie but hearing you call him baby made Hyunjin’s heart race. He was absolutely nervous as you stood there, running the brush through your hair. “Y-you ready?” he questions, his eyes roaming over your figure. He groans internally why did he want to do things the right way? Fuck you always looked so good; he felt his heart flutter at your smile as you nod. He lifts himself from your bed as you make your way to the door. Hyunjin wraps his arms around your waist from behind pulling you into him. You squeak as he kisses your cheek. “I love you, baby” he smiles as he grabs hold of your hand spinning you to face him before re-placing his hand on your waist pulling you into him tightly, his free hand caresses your cheek. “I love you too” you press your lips against his. Your heart flutters, your fingers feel tingly.
The love you had for him always seemed to leave you…. breathless.

Comatose (Jongho) Pt 2 [final]
Tumblr media
Mafia!Choi Jongho x fem!reader
>> Being the lover of mafia member Choi Jongho had it perks and downfalls, you were allowed to stay in a lavish mansion with 8 beautiful men, including your man, who stayed by your side when he wasn’t on the job. However, when one day you are on a date with said lover, a member of Ateez’s rival gang shoot’s you...what will happen next?<<
(This one shot includes violence, so warning and angst, and fluff. It’s a roller coaster, it’s a mafia one shot, there’s more I just don’t know what other warnings I should add)
(Monsta X make an appearance)
(Monsta X used to be Ateez alliance but are now enemies)
"Hongjoong, it's all my fault, I should've had more security detail!" Jongho, the chestnut haired held his hands in fists, staring at his leader, with such anger and failure in his eyes.
His leaders eyes had softened and wrapped his arms around the younger man, "It's not your fault, how could've you known that Monsta X would show up. You worry about your lover, while we figure out how they knew you were there."
Jongho nodded, toughening up his act, he had to stay strong for the love of his life, and for his reputation. Can’t let anyone know the youngest member of Ateez is actually a softie underneath this rough exterior.
-
Knocking on the door that his girlfriend was staying in, just to let anyone know who is inside, of his incoming presence.
Jongho noticed an older man in a white lab coat, hovering to the side with a clipboard, must be her assigned doctor.
"Hi, you must be the doctor, I'm Y/N's boyfriend, Choi Jongho."
The mention of his name sent a shiver down the doctors spine. Of course, it was one of the biggest mafia's member. Especially the mafia that even controlled this hospital.
"Right, of course. Well, I'm Dr. Lewis. Miss Y/N here, we don't have much to update her status. Except," Oh god, what was he gonna say? This worried the younger man to take a deep breath.
"She's in a comatose state. I'm very sorry. The bullets narrowly missed her spine, but still hit too close for comfort. We had to place her in this state to prevent further damage." The doctor placed the clipboard back on the edge of her bed and stared at her lover before continuing.
"We hope that she can awaken by the end of the week. If not, she may not awaken for awhile. I can say in good news though, that the surgery went well without a hitch."
He approached Jongho and nervously held a card out to him. "If you have any further questions, you can contact me with this number or email."
When the doctor finally left, Jongho collapsed to his knees right next to her bed, "Oh, my love, what have I done. I should've protected you better." He grasped her hand in his, pulling it next to his face.
"I am so sorry, please come back to me. I cannot bear to see you like this. It breaks my heart."
His sobs were released onto her hand.
He could never be this vulnerable in front of anyone but her.
-
Jongho had fallen asleep in the chair that was placed next to Y/N’s bed.
Hearing a knock resonate in the room, he straightened up and stood up.
“Jongho? It’s us.” He had recognized his leaders voice so he calmed down and relaxed back into his seat.
He nodded, “Hi.” There wasn’t much emotion in his face.
“How is she?” San had stepped up to look at his unconscious friend.
Jongho held back his tears, reminding himself he cannot be vulnerable. “It’s not good. They placed her in a comatose.”
He stared at her lovingly, “They said if she doesn’t wake up by the end of this week. She may take a while to wake up.”
Mingi could see the desperation in his younger friends eyes, the worry for his unconscious lover.
Mingi walked up to Jongho, pulling him into an embrace not caring that Jongho didn’t like skinship, “I’m sorry, but we have good news, we’ll I wouldn’t say it’s good news. But it’s something.” As he let go of his younger friend, the tall male turned to their leader.
Hongjoong sighed, “Yeah. We found out how Monsta X knew you were there.”
As he sat down in an extra chair, he sighed before continuing, “It turns out they’ve been watching our every move. They figured out a weakness in our bonds. It was Y/N, they wanted to start a war so they were following you two,” Hongjoong could see Jongho tense up in frustration, “the plan was to take her out so we’d go to war with them. I’m not even sure this makes sense to you, Jjong, but it was their plan.”
“Then I say we should go to war with them. How dare they try to take away what’s most precious to me!” Jongho flared up in anger, clenching his fists.
However, they couldn’t just go to war with them.
There would be too many innocent casualties.
-
I felt trapped, like I couldn’t escape this void, why couldn’t I wake up? Why could I hear everything but couldn’t move?
Poor Jongho, I’m so sorry, I should’ve been faster, I should’ve been more careful. I shouldn’t have forced you to go somewhere with me.
I should have listened to you, we should’ve stayed in bed. Now I can’t do anything but lay in this darkness that entrapped me, I couldn’t even touch you. I just want to feel you. I need you. I feel so alone. I keep replaying those last moments before I was shot. It’s all I can think of. Your distraught voice calling out to me, on repeat.
Please save me, Haribo. I miss you. I wanna feel you. I want to hear your beautiful singing voice once again. I can only hear you crying to me everyday as I lay here. How long have I been here?
I want to see that little freckle on your neck, I love how you squirm when I touched it. Sometimes I wish we never met so you wouldn’t be going through this agony without me.
But I need you.
-
“Dr. Lewis, why hasn’t she woke up? It’s been longer than a week, I’m getting worried?” Jongho pumped his clenched fists.
“You’re not trying to sabotage anything, are you, doctor? Because that would be stupid to mess with me, or my lover.”
Jongho glared at the cowering doctor.
“N-no, sir! We’re not sure why she hasn’t awoken. Her brain scans are normal, she should’ve been awake by now.” The doctor was gripping the clipboard so tight that his knuckles were turning white.
“Well you better figure it out. Remember ateez runs this town. If something happens, your lif-“
“Jjong?”
“Y/N?”
Jongho rushed over to the beside so quickly like his life depended on it.
“Oh my god, you’re awake.”
The doctor quickly scrambled out of the room, leaving the pair alone.
“How..how long was I out?”
“Too long, love, too long.”
Jongho pulled me into an embrace, “ow! Careful, my back hurts!” I whined.
He chuckled at me. Rude.
“I’m just glad you’re awake, thank you for coming back to me. I missed you.”
“And I missed you, my sweet Haribo.”

There's no way to describe the look on this guy's face other than...shook.
It doesn't seem like it's a bad reaction, though. You smile at him nervously, as he works through whatever is sending him. He's watching you approach the table with that unmasked surprise, waiting as you weave your way through the crowded cafe.
You'd expected some awkwardness on a blind date. It's fine.
At least he's cute.
Super cute. He's got a lovely strong face, deep dimples that you can see even now when his face is at rest. His tight t-shirt and fitted jacket do nothing to hide his strong chest, and he sits in that confident man-spread, legs apart and a deep slouch.
He straightens up a little as you get closer.
For all of his apparent struggles, he does speak first. "Hey."
"Hi," you answer, slipping your coat off in the warmth of the cafe and settling it on your chair back, mostly for something to do with your hands.
"So, you're Jun's friend," he says.
"Yeah." You tell him your name, just in case, and he nods.
"Jooheon."
"Cool."
You're settled into your chair, thinking mostly about what you're going to go order to drink, but also a little bit about this guy and his continued astonishment.
And finally, he lets you in.
"You're short."
It's not your fault. You laugh. You can't help it.
"I guess I am," you agree. "Kinda."
You think you're pretty average. You certainly have coworkers and friends who are shorter, and smaller. But he's looking at you like he's never met someone smaller than himself.
"It's cute," he clarifies, as if suddenly realizing how he's acting, how a different person might take offense to his bluntness.
"You don't meet short people often?" you ask.
Jooheon smiles, and instantly, you're melting. Those dimples sink even deeper, and his eyesmile threatens to overwhelm his whole face.
"I work with famous people," he says. "Tall, dark, and handsome."
You know what he means, even if it's an off-target line to use about women. Celebrities are so often tall and delicate, a cold and sharp kind of cultivated beauty. Not exactly words to describe you. It makes sense, you guess, that maybe wasn't expecting someone like you. But that's an interesting tidbit, overall.
"Famous people?" you repeat, curious.
"I produce., and write."
"Music?"
"Mm."
So, he's a musician. Jun said he was in entertainment, but this is much more interesting than you'd expected, more low-key. You'd been half-expecting a local newscaster, or, like, a theater director.
"Are you ready to order?" you ask him.
"Yeah, lemme..."
He leans forward, retrieves a slim wallet from his back pocket.
"I can pay for my own," you say, as you stand up again.
You can feel Jooheon following you to the counter, and you're hyperaware of him standing a polite distance behind you as you speak to the cashier. Maybe you're shorter than he'd expected, but he's also taller than he looked sitting. You think he can probably look right over you, can see the cashier clear over your head.
The idea of it sends a little thrill through you.
It's not like you go for tall guys, exclusively, or anything. But Jooheon's immediate fascination with your size has you feeling...something.
You're too stuck in your own head, because as the cashier reads out your total, a hand darts in from the side, supplying a card that the cashier takes without even blinking.
"Aw!" you protest.
"I got it," Jooheon assures you.
Oh.
He's very close, now, leaning right up against you, hand propped on the counter as he waits for his credit card back.
"You are cute," he says.
It's a simple compliment, but the sincerity of it leaves you standing there for several dumb seconds after the purchase is completed, and Jooheon has already walked away.
Maybe that's how you find yourself pressed to the wall of his apartment building lobby.
Not even the apartment itself, but the lobby. Next to the elevator bay, right beside the button panel, waiting for the elevator car to come down and meet you.
Jooheon's pouty lips are feeling you out, straying from your mouth, down your jaw, your throat, and back. He has one knee propped against the wall, between your legs, threatening to hold you off the ground completely.
"You're so strong," you say breathlessly.
You hadn't realized he's quite so strong, or so broad. He's got the kind of solid filled-out look of a guy who works out, but also eats well. Working muscles, rather than aesthetic muscle.
Jooheon just feels so big.
He pulls back to wow you with those dimples again. "Thanks."
"Should we be doing this here?"
"Who's gonna stop us?"
It's a valid question, but any complaints about public indecency are answered for themselves when the elevator arrives, and Jooheon sweeps you into it.
"Everything okay?" he asks.
He's holding you gently by the waist, fingers playing up your spine like piano keys. You're kind of lost in him already.
"Yep."
"Cute."
He keeps saying that. He better stop, before you believe it.
You can't remember the last time you kissed someone this much, spent so much time just exploring another person. That's probably why you're so smitten, right now. Pure overwhelm.
His apartment is nice. The lobby was a giveaway, but you can tell by a hazy glance at the interior in the dark that he makes comfortable money. You'd want to take a look around, in other circumstances.
In these circumstances, there's no time.
"I want..."
Jooheon takes an agonizing moment to hang up his jacket, and yours, and he glances at you with mirth in his eyes. He's making you wait on purpose.
"What do you want?"
"Just...I mean..."
"Me?" Jooheon asks.
He lets his expression go wide and curious, childish wonder. He's teasing you, acting cute on purpose.  The effect is ruined - or enhanced, you can't decide - by the sight of his broad chest and big arms, biceps wrapped in the tight cotton of his fitted tee. That face and that body-
"You," you agree.
"Then come get me, cutie."
He walks farther into the apartment, and you follow.
On your back beneath him, both of you bare from the waist up, you can't help but compare. The planes of his muscles, the jut of his ribs, the sheer breadth of your chest he can span with only one hand...
"So fuckin' little."
He mutters it, but it sets you on fire.
"I'm not that little," you say.
Jooheon laughs, dimples out full-force. He leans right down until you're face to face, his body covering yours so completely. "Yeah, you are."
As if to prove it, he draws back, takes you by the hip, and turns you right over onto your knees.
Flustered, you let your forehead rest on the mattress. It's like he can just do whatever he wants. He's so solid, so capable. You can't even see him, now, and he's still looming, demanding all of your attention.
"How much can you take, cutie?" he asks.
He's a big guy, in general, but the question has you tingling.
As well as you can with the constriction of clothing on you lower half, you arch into him. "How much do you have to give?"
"Wanna find out?"

firstly omg babe congrats on 1.5k!!!! youre growing so fast :( secondly the fics you rec-d had me dying (ftom cuteness ofc) amd just omg :( ty and thirdly youre really adorable!!! ofc i look up to you have you seen your blog???? babe your writing has me crying into my pillow at (exactly) 4:02 am. But genuinely the way you write is just so <3!!!! Its really really comforting. Im really envious because anything i write sounds like a first grader write it (in a happy im proud of you way!!) and ofc dw abt it that was def my fault shouldve thought that through but yeah ofc you can call me sprout!!! Also again omg zanna 1.5k!!!! and for the event how many groups do you like (this includes casually stanning too) and omg tws!!!! ( My children :( ](so idk but whenever i stan a new group automatically four positions form in my head: (idk im weird) of theres the two basic, bias and bias wrecker/s and then theres emotionally closest to and special place in my heart so ig my question is for like all or any of your fav kpop groups whod you put where?) Happy valentines day!! Happy carat day!!
-🌱!!!
SPROUT!! i get so happy when i see you in my inbox eskdjks
omg i'm glad you enjoyed them 🥹 i wish i could've gotten some more but my tumblr is always dry except for moot fics and i don't read much nowadays 💔 except for real books damn...
WHAT NO WAY MY WRITING MADE YOU CRY??? 🤨🤨🤨🤨 but thank you :(
i'm sure its much better than you think sprout :( and believe it or not, everyone starts out writing like a first grader, but the more you practice the better you become!!! and you can also put in effort to try to learn techniques and stuff but i'm too lazy for that tho i do def want to improve my writing style so we'll see :D
aww it's okay tho we're on good terms now!!! so don't worry abt that <33
okay how many groups do i like?
okay so txt, verivery, onf, victon, seventeen, astro, skz, the rose, enhypen, mcnd, newjeans, lucy, billlie, sf9, &team, red velvet, ive, bts, the boyz, viviz, n.flying, xdinary heroes, xg, boynextdoor, le sserafim, mamamoo, p1harmony, riize, wei are kinda the groups i can say i stan
got7, ateez, shinee, pentagon, nct (all units), are groups i casually enjoy and know the first 3 esp pretty well for members as well!!
im enjoy a lot of soloists and i would love to get into some other groups that i listen to occasionally as well (cix, oneus, cravity, ace, e'last etc)
i'm also familiar w gidle, itzy, twice, oh my girl, akmu, blackpink, monsta x, aespa, nmixx, exo, zerobaseone, and some more but don't consider them to be on my stanlist yet
so i think i stan 29 groups, 15(ish) soloists, and know 16ish other groups rly well !!
who would you put in the positions bias, bias wrecker, emotionally closest to, and special place in your heart?
ooo that's a rly interesting question!! i'm gonna do it just for my ult groups i think... and maybe svt too skdjks since they were ults
so for txt
bias - taehyun bias wrecker - hueningkai emotionally closest to - soobin or taehyun special place - taehyun... KSJDKS
for onf
bias - yuto, minkyun bias wrecker - seungjun emotionally closest to - minkyun (he rly likes cats what can i say) special place - etion :( i love him so much
for verivery
bias - gyehyeon bias wrecker - yongseung emotionally closest to - hoyoung maybe? special place - minchan
and for svt bonus yayayay
bias - joshua, dk bias wrecker - wonwoo emotionally closest to - woozi special place - jun
happy valentines and carat day to you as well <33 sry i didn't get to answering this yesterday cause i was BUSY WITHOUT DEVICES RIP BUT WE'RE HERE NOW <33

MONSTA X Changkyun ~ Sex Slave
Tumblr media
warning: very sexual content. if you’re not comfortable with that, please don’t read. also, how is this man so fineeee?
————————————————————————
Y/n: "FUCK!" I scream as I feel the whip hit my ass.
Guy: "Be a good girl and take it slut." He says before whipping me again, making me scream out in pain again. "That's it baby. Just a little more." He says before raising the whip again.
Y/n: "No! Please!" I yell crying from the pain.
Guy: "You know you love it. Such a dirty little slut." He says smirking.
Y/n: "N-no. Please. I'm begging you." I say scared and helpless as I have ropes tied around my body.
Guy: "Shhhh. It'll be over soon. Just relax and take it like a good girl." He says before I feel another blow.
A few days later:
Yoonhwa: "That's it babygirl." He says groaning as I'm deep throating him. I take my mouth off of his dick when I start feeling him start to come. He cums immediately after as I try to catch my breath. "Good girl."
A while later:
Boss: "Here's this." He says handing me some money.
Y/n: "Thanks." I say coldly taking it before walking away.
Boss: "Wait." He says from behind me as I stop in my tracks. "I expect you to be back later."
Y/n: "Yes sir." I say before walking out of the building. I just start walking towards the park to try to find something to do.
At the park:
Y/n: I was just walking taking my mind off of everything when I accidentally bump into someone. "Shit. I'm sorry."
???: "It's okay. It was my fault." He says before I look at him. My breathing stops for a second when I see how hot he is.
Y/n: "Oh my god." I accidentally say out loud. He just chuckles for a second before speaking again.
???: "Didn't know I was that attractive." He says chuckling. "I'm Changkyun."
Y/n: "Y/n." I say snapping back to reality. "Sorry. I uh-"
Changkyun: "Don't worry about it." He says smiling before I see it fade a little. "Hey um, if you don't mind me asking, are you okay? What happened?" He asks softly grazing over some of my bruises.
Y/n: "Uh I'm okay. Really." I say shrugging off the  question while chuckling before I get a text. I look at my phone and see that it's from my boss. "Fuck." I mumble to myself quietly. "I gotta go. I'm so sorry." I say running off.
At the place:
Y/n: I walk into my room and see the guy in there. "Jeongwoo is it?" I ask walking over to him.
Jeongwoo: "Yes it is." He says sitting on the bed.
Y/n: "You or me?" I ask him with my arms crossed.
Jeongwoo: "H-huh?"
Y/n: "You dom or me?"
Jeongwoo: "Uh y-you dom..." He says and I nod.
Y/n: "Okay. Just know as long as I'm dom, sex goes as long as I say. Get it?" I ask and he nods. "And, a few rules. One, no use of the safe word. You came here for sex so you're getting sex. The intensity all depends on the dom. Two, I tell you to do something, you do it. I tell you not to do something, you don't do it. If you do, you will have a punishment. And three, no touching unless I say so. Am I clear?" I ask and he nods nervously. "Words."
Jeongwoo: "N-ne." He says and I eye him carefully before speaking again.
Y/n: "Strip." I say leaning against the wall with my arms crossed as I see him stand up and strip like I told him to. When he gets done, he stands there patiently waiting for me to say something. I look around the room to decide what to do. "Spread your legs a little. About shoulder width." I say and he does it as I walk over to him. I kneel down in front of him and take his dick in my mouth, sucking it and licking it.
Jeongwoo: "Oh my god." He says throwing his head back.
A while later:
Y/n: I have Jeongwoo chained to the wall before I decide what I'm going to do this time. I'm getting tired so this probably is the last thing. I grab a blindfold and tie it around his eyes before grabbing an ice cube and slowly moving across his dick making him moan a lot.
Jeongwoo: "Ah..." He says whining a little as he's about fucked out. Once the ice cube is about melted, I grab a cock ring and stick it on him before turning it on making him moan again. "A-a-ah..." He says crying a little. "I-it hurts..."
Y/n: "Almost there Jeongwoo." I say turning up the vibrator more. He moans more uncontrollably before cumming again. "Good boy." I say turning off the vibrator and taking it off of him. He's breathing heavily as I go to uncuff him. He just drops to the floor in exhaustion once I get them off. "So? You wanna get dressed or what?" I ask leaning against the wall with my arms crossed.
Jeongwoo: "Yeah..." He says obviously fucked out. "T-thank you..." He says standing up carefully.
A few minutes later:
Y/n: I was walking with Jeongwoo making sure he got out safe when we stopped in the lobby for a moment, and then I saw Changkyun in there. "Changkyun..." I say stopping in my tracks.
Changkyun: "So this is why you were bruised so badly huh? Being a sex slave?" He asks scoffing.
Y/n: "Changkyun look. I had no choice."
Changkyun: "You did have a choice. But you chose not to do it." He says before leaving.
Y/n: "Changkyun wait!" I say trying to run after him when I'm blocked by my boss.
Boss: "And would you look at that? Y/n's the lucky winner for today." He says smirking.
Y/n: "W-what are you talking about?" I ask him kind of nervously.
Boss: "It's your turn for all of us to play with you." He says pulling me to a huge playroom.
Y/n: "But boss I really need to talk to Chang-"
Boss: "Oh don't worry about that Y/n." He says smirking as we make it to the door of the playroom. "You're gonna get to." He says opening the door and throwing me on the floor harshly making me groan in pain. "Wait right there." He says and shuts the door leaving the room. I wait there for about a few minutes when the door opens again and I see them dragging Changkyun in there with his hands handcuffed behind his back.
Y/n: "Changkyun!" I say trying to run up to him but I'm pulled back. I see them handcuffing Changkyun to a chair before walking over to me.
Boss: "Don't worry Princess. You'll get to talk to him." He says smirking again as he grabs my arms tightly keeping me from running away. Changkyun I think is too scared to ask or say anything as he keeps trying to get the handcuffs off but is always unsuccessful.
Changkyun: "What are you gonna do to her?" He asks still trying to get them off.
Boss: "Oh don't worry Mr. Im. Your girlfriend will be in very good hands."
Y/n: "He's not my boyfriend!" I say struggling to get out of his grip. I feel a few tears spill out of my eyes as I'm so scared.
Boss: "Dominic, strip her." He says and next thing I know, they are all taking my clothes off and I'm surrounded so I can't run away. Once all of my clothes are off they drag me over to a pole. They put my back against it before tying me to it.
Changkyun: "Let go of her!" He says angrily still struggling to get out.
Boss: "Oh we will Mr. Im. Just not right now." He says smirking again as they finish tying me to the pole. I'm sobbing by this point since I'm so scared.
Y/n: "C-Changkyun..." I say sobbing. I then see him walk over to him before speaking again.
Boss: "We're going to let her go. Don't worry. But first, you have to watch us play with her."
Changkyun: "Why do I have to?"
Boss: "It's the only way she'll make it out of here alive." He says smirking again.
Changkyun: "W-what?"
Y/n: "C-Changkyun please... P-please help m-me..." I say feeling hopeless.
Boss: "Dominic, get the tools." He says walking back over to me.
Dominic: "What do you want me to grab first boss?" He asks and I see boss smirk before speaking again.
Boss: "The vibrating wand." He says looking at me. Dominic nods before going to grab it and handing it to boss. Boss turns it on before putting it against my cunt, making me moan out. "That's it babygirl." He says hearing my moans. After a few minutes, he turns up the vibrator up to the highest making me scream from the pain.
Y/n: "Stop! P-please!" I sob out. After another few minutes, he stops the vibrator and hands it back to Dominic before I see him put two fingers on my cunt. "A-andwae..." I say sobbing again. As I moan out, I still struggle trying to get out of the restraints. "C-Changkyun-ah..." I say while sobbing. I then feel him spank my cunt a few times before fingering me again.
A while later:
Y/n: We have been at this for a while now, probably a few hours or so, and I have been in so many positions I am fucked out by now. But they are still going. Changkyun is still handcuffed and being forced to watch all of this.
Boss: "Okay Princess," he says handcuffing me to the wall with my arms and legs spread a little. I see him grab the same vibrator from earlier and put it against my cunt again and, since I'm so fucked out, it hurts way worse than it did before. I scream out from pain as not only is he pushing the vibrator against my cunt harshly, he also is kneading my ass really hard. Once I end up cumming again, he turns off the vibrator and hands it to Dominic before undoing my restraints. As soon as I get uncuffed, I immediately drop down to the floor on all fours and sob. I don't hear them say anything, but I hear the sound of handcuffs and the door opening and shutting before I feel someone hug me tightly.
Y/n: "C-C-Changkyun... H-help me..." I sob out.
Changkyun: "Hey... I'm here..." He says hugging me tightly. After a few minutes of him comforting me, my sobs start to go down a little as I go to speak again.
Y/n: "P-please... Get me out of this hell hole... I never even wanted to work here in the first place..." I say as I sob a little again.
Changkyun: "Why did you work here then?"
Y/n: "My dad forced me to when I was younger..."
Changkyun: "Why?" He asks a little curious and because he feels bad.
Y/n: "I'll explain later... Just please... Get me out of here... I never want to come here again..." I say before I see him nod and he helps me get ready before we leave the place. Since I'm so fucked out, I need his help to walk, but he partly just carries me wherever I want to go.
A while later:
Y/n: Since my old boss knows where I live, I know, it's creepy, Changkyun helped me pack my stuff before we went to his apartment. Changkyun laid me down on the couch before speaking again.
Changkyun: "I'll go get your stuff. If you need me, I'll be right here." He says and tries to walk away but I grab his arm and pull him back a little. He looks at me curious when I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him into a kiss. He doesn't kiss back for a second from the shock but relaxes and kisses me back after a moment. We kiss for about a minute before we break loose and look into each other's eyes.
Y/n: "I-I'm sorry. I don't know why I just-" I say coming to realization before I'm cut off by Changkyun kissing me again.
Changkyun: "Don't apologize. I'm glad you did." He says smiling a little making me smile.

Hey so I’m bored and I wanted to ask you random questions.
1.) what are 5 mutuals that you want to work with in some fics?
2.) out of all your mutuals who’s the one that you want to meet in person
3.) what’s a fic you read that you really like
4.) what’s an idol that you like a lot that you can’t stop looking at
5.) favorite movie or song atm
6.) how did (fave group) change your life?
7,) make your own kpop group ( tag the people you will like to add in the group (mutuals) and what will be their positions including you and witch company you will be under )
8.) if you were to marry any idol who would it be and why
9.) were in the world will you like to go and why
10.) favorite food(s)
11.) make it a tag game if you like and have a lovely day 🙈
Thank you for all the questions! Let's see how this goes.
1.) what are 5 mutuals that you want to work with in some fics?
a) @nabiolive cause they write a lot of darker fics and I would like to try something new
@vvh0adie 'cause I know the two of us would show the fuck out
@sugakookitty she's crazy and her writing is top tier, it would push me to try harder (tho I am getting somewhat of a chance to write with her during a collab)
@namjinsmoonchile 'cause we wild out in our discord severs, so I think we would have a good time writing together
and my 5th would be anyone who would want to give it a try, honestly. I have done a cowrite is a very, very long time. I think the last time I did one, I was nineteen or twenty.
2.) out of all your mutuals who’s the one that you want to meet in person
a) Can I say all of them? I have so many different conversations and click with people differently, so yeah. All of them.
3.) what’s a fic you read that you really like
a) Recently, I read Protostellar by ninamonday on ao3 and it had me hooked. I read it from start to finish in a day and I was in love. It's a BTS fic that's very, very different. Takes place is space and plays with your emotions a lot.
4.) what’s an idol that you like a lot that you can’t stop looking at
a) Right now, Min Fucking Yoongi has full control of my life and it's my own fault. Working on Blackthorn has pulled me into a world that I was ignoring and now I am stranded in the trenches.
5.) favorite movie or song atm
a) Beautiful Liar by Monsta X and Blue by Jackson Wang
6.) how did (fave group) change your life?
a) K-Pop wise, none of the groups have really changed my life. If anything Got7/BTS has helped me make a shit ton of friends over the last two years. Before K-Pop, Avenged Sevenfold was the group that was my whole world. Their songs helped me through a lot of tough times growing up and they made me think about what I really wanted to do with my life.
7.) make your own kpop group ( tag the people you will like to add in the group (mutuals) and what will be their positions including you and witch company you will be under )
a) I will pass on this one. I wouldn't ever want to be in a kpop group. I can't dance and my singing voice isn't that great...
8.) if you were to marry any idol who would it be and why
a) Oof, the list is soooo long but I think if I really had the chance to marry...I would pick Joohoney from Monsta X 'cause he seems like a really chill guy. He knows his feelings, he's funny and he likes to eat. He's a sleepy baby too, so all the cuddles for him. I think we could be good for each other and build each other up.
9.) where in the world will you like to go and why
a) I'm a huge foodie...so either Japan, Maine or the Philippines. Honestly anywhere with good food!
10.) favorite food(s)
a) seafood (muscles, clams, shrimp and more), supreme pizza, sweet and spicy wings, dark chocolate, ginger ale, root beer, sushi, any type of pasta, kettle cooked jalapeno chips, sour cream and onion chips, cheesecake, tiramisu, creme brulee...there are so many food that I love. These are just a small list of my favs.
Again, thank you for sending in these questions. I enjoyed answering them!

I meant to send this yesterday but I deleted it on accident bc I’m an idiot and couldn’t remember what I wrote 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway… I completely agree with your Wonho ‘leaving’ poll explanation. Not that changes in music/choreography/styling/general vibes is necessarily a bad thing but there definitely has been changes since then and imo it hasn’t all been positive… (ofc i still love them and will continue to support them/all of their solo careers tho!!) That said, Wonho being made into an outcast is like a black cloud that keeps following them (through no fault of their own). I mean I still get pissed seeing him erased from basically all archival content that’s shown now and the remaining members having to act like he never existed. That whole situation is and will always be a fucking outrage and I hope every single piece of trash person that contributed both directly and indirectly has karma bite them in the ass :)
Also if we could go back to 2019 and go full on dramarama to stop this from happening, hopefully we could get rid of ashy too bc lbr that guy has done more harm than good…
goddd i agree so much!!! I've actually seen this topic being brought up a lot on twt (how mx's music has changed over the years) and I think it was brought up after a few 'unpopular opinions' ppl have shared abt 'Monsta x losing their sound' or something like that and tbh I never got offended over that bc their music has changed and so has the whole kpop. to some ppl it's 'evolved' and to others it's 'downgraded' depending on their tastes. but some mbbs get so defensive and try to make insane arguments against them. like who cares? I wholeheartedly believe if wonho hadn't left I would've liked monsta x' music a lot more. like in some of their recent music u can feel something lacking and I think that's wonho's artistic touches and impact. the wonho erasure pisses me off so much... like that video from a few weeks back (monsta x' most iconic MVs) and it was all post-2019... i was outraged.

You opened your eyes to Changkyun’s dark ones filled with worry, his hands shaking resting over your head with a cloth, that with his naked torso told you was his T-shirt. Minhyuk was almost crying down the phone, but your eyes rested on Changkyun’s arms as you focused on the blood splatters. “Y/N,” Changkyun called you with worry, Minhyuk dropped the phone rushing to your side. “Y/N you ok?” He cried, “what happened,” you ask trying to pierce your memory back, but your head hurting when you tried. “I don’t know, I can’t remember how,” you choke trying to get up. “Y/N please don’t move,” Changkyun said calmly cutting you off. “I’ll carry you, I think you may need stitches for that gash,” he said lifting you into his arms and resting your head against his chest. “You might need to hold my T-shirt to your gash,” he said as blood trickled down your face into your eyes. “How?” You choke, “it’s my fault Y/N I should have listened to Kihyun,” he cried. “That was too much for a beginner,” he adds, his body tensing his warm flesh against your cheek, oddly soothing you.
All you saw was Hyunwoo dashing to your side once reaching the clearing. Kihyun & Hoseok following, there faces pale taking the blooded sight in. “I think I ought to drive,” Hyungwon spluttered as Changkyun places you in Shownu’s arms. Changkyun’s hand still holding his T-shirt around you, due to the poor attempt you had made earlier to keep the blood at bay. A quick glance made you feel faint as your head rolled into Hyunwoo. “Y/N,” you heard Hoseok cry, your eyes fluttering open to his torn face.
“It’s ok Hoseok, we got this she’ll be ok, head wounds bleed like a bitch,” Hyunwoo said comforting him as he placed you into the back seat of Hoseok’s car. Kihyun jumped in the side, “I got her, rest her head here,” he said holding you close to him,his hands taking Changkyun’s Blooded T-shirt. Hoseok jumped into the other side next to you the second Hyunwoo slipped out getting in to the passenger seat next to Hyungwon.
“We got you,” Hoseok said rolling his thumb on your hands. “I knew it was a bad idea for you to climb with no experience,” Kihyun scolded. “Hyung maybe now’s not the time to scold her,” Hyungwon said as he drove towards the hospital. “Sorry,” you cried tears. “Sshhh, Kihyun’s just worried that’s all, isn’t that right,” Hoseok said gritting his teeth his way. “I was actually scolding myself, I should have done more to stop you,” Kihyun said.
“Sorry,” you choked out again as you let tears slip past. “Y/N please don’t cry,” Hoseok gasped, as you closed your eyes briefly.
“Y/N don’t go to sleep,” Kihyun choked shaking you that his hand slipped, letting the cloth fall as blood began to drip. “What the fuck Kihyun,” Hoseok growled as he pressed the cloth hard to your head. “Sorry,” you and Kihyun said simultaneously. “Almost there,” Hyunwoo said as the car stilled in quietness.
Hoseok carried you from the car, Kihyun hands holding the cloth as Hoseok set a speedy pace to the reception of the Emergency Room. Hyunwoo pushing doors to help with the dash as you allowed the sudden tiredness to let your eyes fall, all while hearing your name being called out like a mantra.
You woke feeling sore, your hands touching the bandage over your head, your memory’s flooding back. The squabbles between Kihyun and Hoseok outside your room, while you was being stitched up woozy from the drugs that they gave you. The feeling of exhaustion that you fell asleep not long after, after hearing that you would be kept in for observation.
The room was silent, but the tapping of a pen as your eyes washed over a worried Jooheon sat in the corner, his mountain of notes that seemed like lyrics. He bit the tip of his pen noticing you in the process. “Your awake, you ok?” he gasped as he moved to the chair sitting right next to your bed. “Yeah I’m good, how long have you been here?” You asked watching his face frown. “Please tell me you haven’t been here all night,” you gasped sitting up in the bed. His lowered head answered your question. “Why? Are you not tired?,” you asked holding your hands to his. “I’m fine, actually it meant I was able to have peace to write lyrics,” he said with a smile that melted you. “Where’s everyone else?” You asked dangling your legs over the bed. “There starting to pack away, Hyunwoo’s going to drive you back when your discharged,” Jooheon said walking back over to his notes as he started stacking them neatly. “What about Hoseok?” You asked, “or Kihyun?” You add making his head raise.
“They need time apart,” he said stuffing the papers in to his bag. “What from me,” you scoff, earning a slight smile. “No from each other, Kihyun blames himself and Hoseok blames him too. But hearing from Hoseok’s voice is making him want to knock his head off his shoulders,” he scoffed. “It’s no one’s fault,” you said smiling, “Changkyun doesn’t think that, he’s really worried, Hyungwon had to drive him home already,” he said as he moved back to sit in his chair by your bed.
“Why? it was my own clumsy feet that lost its footing,” you said feeling the pain of guilt wash over you for all the drama. “Plus I wasn’t thinking, my mind was all over,”, “Kihyun?” Jooheon said smirking cutting you off, your eyes widened. “Kihyun?” You asked quizzingly, “did you really not notice how bad Kihyun crushes over you?” He asked.
“No, though people keep telling me about how he apparently feels. But I suppose I been too busy with Hoseok,” you gasped. “But you know he’s avoiding dating right,” Jooheon said patting your thighs. “Yeah I know,” you said biting your lips. “But we can, well not in fans faces but it’s not against our rules,” he added. “What are you saying?” You questioned him. “Do you really not find Kihyun attractive, you two was close till Hoseok came into your life,” he added. “But Kihyun sent me there,” you gasped.
“Don’t you get it? He sent you there to avoid you, but it made no difference his feelings still there and worse because now he misses you,” Jooheon added.
“Do you like Kihyun Y/N?” Jooheon asked seriously. “Honey I don’t think I ever thought of him like that, we’re just friends, it’s all I’ve ever seen,” you replied. Jooheon looked concerned, “But you know if you and Hoseok got caught even being close like you clearly are, you could lose him his career,” he said, concern for his Hyung written on his face. “I know,” you reply biting your lips, tears threatening, confused why his words felt like a red knife, but also confused how you was going to face Kihyun.
The first time you saw Kihyun was when he collected you a few weeks later. It was Wonho’s comeback and it was intense. Hoseok had been concerned on your return, but he had become quiet around your presence, the Hoseok you met on holiday long gone. You had realised Jooheon had probably lectured him on the blossoming relationship that had slowly built up between you.
“It looks good,” Kihyun said brushing his fingers over the scar, “minus the bald part of my hair, it looks fine,” you rolled your eyes in response. “Don’t underestimate hair and make up,” Kihyun said reassuring you. “But till then I got you something,” Kihyun said, his eyes twinkling as he past you a small gift. “A gift for what,” you chuckled holding the parcel in your hand. “Hoseok said you was self conscious and was wearing those silly flowery head bands to cover it,” he said looking at the pink flower band on your head, with his nose crinkled. “What’s wrong with my flower head band,” you scoffed earning him to stifle a laughter. “What’s right with it,” he mocked, “anyway open it,” he added. You opened it to find five Celine headbands, “now there just think your being stylish and not a fashion disaster,” he chuckled. “Kihyun,” you choked, frowning as you swatted his arm. His hands took one of the orange bands as he placed it around your forehead, covering the bald spot holding your scar.
His body was so close to you, you could smell his fruity Zara Aftershave, you had smelt it a thousand times before but this time you felt your core react. You bit your lips to control this sudden response to your friend as you looked at him, his smile perfect in every way. Why did he look different today? Was this because of what Jooheon had said to you? Did this mean you liked him? Maybe this was what banging your head did to you.
“What,” Kihyun smirked catching you staring at him silently, “nothing …. just thank you,” you said feeling the blush on your face. “Right let’s get you to your practice, it’s recording day for the choreography video,” he said with pride in his face. You wasn’t alien to them, you had done a few with Monsta X but this was the first time you would be one of Hoseok’s main dancers.
Kihyun didn’t just take you to the schedule, but he went and got you a coffee, waiting at the back of the room once the schedule had finished. Your heart still not recovered from Hoseok’s intense brief look as his hands looped around your braids while he walked past you, before his eye set on the camera. The challenge to keep your focus and attention together was harder then you expected. But instead of speaking to you as soon as the shoot was finished, he walked out the room, Changkyun following behind with a slight wave in your view.
Kihyun however, was pleased to see you as he passed you a caramel latte. “You did really well,” he praised, his eyes full of pride as Jooheon’s words hit. You was seeing Kihyun differently since you knew he was into you. You had to admit that your emotions was suddenly different. Taking a sip of the warm liquid, you let the sugar rush hit you, closing your eyes you let a moan hit.
“Nice to know that I can make you moan like that,” Kihyun smirked, your face blushing as you swatted him. “Yoo Kihyun who knew you could have a filthy mind,” you chuckled. “Well there’s a lot more too me then cuddly Kihyun,” he scoffed. “Your not cuddly your scary,” you said looping your arms with his as you left the room towards the changing room. “As if you’ve ever been scared of me,” Kihyun mocked. “No I’ll leave that to the guys,” you chuckled leaning your head into Kihyun as you walked down the Corridor.
You grabbed the items from your locker for the shower, Kihyun watching you intensely. “I can’t wait to get clean I really smell,” you said locking the door and turning to face him inches from yours. “I think the sweat looks hot on you,” he said biting his lip. This sudden change in direction from him was enticing you and thinking of him in ways you never imagined before. Your body coming up in goosebumps as his fingers lightly stroked your jaw.
Kihyun’s lips took no time to crash against yours as his lips moved with your frozen ones. You held it there for a second before pushing him away, your heart thundering as your voice got caught in the air being squashed. Kihyun’s eyes look hurt at your rejection, before your body disobeyed you as it pulled him in by the collar of his T-shirt. The kisses being more deep as he leaned against you, pushing you into the locker, the pressure against your back enticing you further as your world evaporated. Kissing at what you was sure for a long time as time disappeared, his lips left you panting with a smirk risen on his face.
“You should get that shower,” Kihyun whispered before kissing you on the forehead. You smiled as you walked in to the wash room, leaning against the closed door, fingers pressed to your lips as your mind tried to analyse the situation. It was clear your feeling for Yoo Kihyun was no longly platonic.
