It's one of my fav ship not including the big 5 so 👉👈 It's really damn adorable and romantic, like just paulie being extremely overprotective and iceburg just loving him more everytime. And how they deal with the others shenanigans (that they love)

august - laura palmer painting number 1. really quite happy with this. i like her a lot. just not so happy with the background, i think i couldve done it better. (i was trying to make it so that you could see the waiting room peeking out from cracks in the wall but that wasnt obvious and was just kind of stupid so like whateverrrr).
september - laura palmer painting number 2. i actually prefer this one, i put more work into it than the first one? it might not look as good but i was more independent with the colour picking and was doing a lot more of the reference from eye. i also think it looks prettier and i like how the hair turned out :))
october - this was a busy month for me so this is just a cringetober piece. self insert. me as an s-mart employee. UM.anyway.s. i think its cute but definitely my weakest piece on here apart from maybe the bluey art. woah wait i just realised i appear twice on this thing
november - dale cooper painting!!! im really happy with this i think it turned out really nice and pretty and that i captured how angelic he looks in that scene :)) im especially proud of the eyes.

I'm so normal about your OCs I haven't finished the series yet so I don't understand some limited things, but that will change soon! Anyways your OCs are fucking awesome and I would love an info dump on them if you have time
oh boy, an opportunity to not shut up about about my OCs! is it already Christmas??? (not but actually thank you for being interested in my dumb kids)
there's a lot to say about them, since I can't stop myself from thinking about em', so I'll do a bunch of fun facts:
- Luiza's main inspiration is Denji from Chainsaw Man; it's very telling with her feral smiles and uh, vulgar way of speech let's say (there's also the constant search for love by literally anyone but the funnies are more important)
- Luiza has self-taught herself in martial arts: her speciality is the Open Hand Technique, a fighting style that incorporates strong and fast slaps using the whole body.
(also yes she can slap so hard it creates a pressure wave)
- Luiza's favorite musical genre is rock in any variation, her favorites being popular songs from the 2010's. She is a certified MCR head and isn't ashamed to admit it.
- Luiza and Helena are twins: their birthday is on June 1st and they're both Geminis (which was totally intentional and not a happy coincidence thanks to a random number generator)
- Luiza is a flaming bisexual, Helena is trans and aroace, Milia is a lesbian and Rebeca is the token straight friend of the group while Six is Six (genderfluid and extremely pan)
(there's a lot more below but I'm hiding it as to not flood people's dashboards!)
- I have a pretty clear character arc for Luiza planned in a (completely delusional) season 1: Luiza starts out as a doormat due to years of having to take care of Helena during her depressive episodes and constantly failing to argue her down from very self-destructive and hateful thoughts; all of this makes Luiza consistently disregard her own opinions and thoughts for whatever her family thinks. She very much starts the "show" off being someone that burns herself for others and that has a very low opinion of herself. That of course changes when she finds Milia, someone that grows to unabashedly care for her and everything she stands for, making Luiza finally realize that yes, she has an innate worth as an individual even if she can't be useful to people. Also she finally grows a backbone specifically to stand up for herself and Milia.
- I think I already told this through a comic, but the reason they both have white locks of hair is trauma, though the irl reason for it is because white/grey are colors associated with wolves and I felt the need to be extremely obvious they're lycanthropes.
- Helena was the second sister to be made irl, but honestly both of their designs and Kallas' just, came to me suddenly one day. Their final designs are quite literally their first iteration, with a few changes over the months because that just happens when you draw the same characters over and over again-
- on the topic of Helena, she doesn't have a main inspiration as much as she is loosely based on the "mean goth girl" archetype; I say loosely based because Helena is also a theater kid in spirit and a huge nerdy loser under all that black leather-
- Helena's arc for season 1 starts out rough: she believes herself to be a monster and will do anything to keep her family safe. While Luiza wants to cure herself of her curse and interact with people, Helena wants to harness it further and never ever feel pain again. Whenever Luiza brings up her dreams of having friends and going to school, Helena shuts it down by saying it's unrealistic and she should stop thinking about it because they're monsters and it's all they'll ever be. Of course all of this vitriol comes from the sister's years of trying and failing to integrate in society, coupled with Helena's own mental issues warping her view of herself. By the end of season 1, through meeting Milia and Luiza finally having the guts to stand against her sister's ideas while still understanding why she thinks that way, Helena abandons her idea of harnessing her curse and starts to open up more to her family.
- Milia's main inspiration is very obviously Suletta Mercury from the Witch from Mercury; if the round eyebrows and generally anxious personality wasn't enough, like Suletta she grows to be confident and lead the charge for her friends (there's even more parallels but I would be spoiling the shit out of WfM-)
- Milia's birthday is on November 5th, making her a Scorpio (which is mildly funny if you're into astrology)
- her vampire form ripping away human skin to reveal a bat-like monster below it comes from an old concept I had involving vampires. I think it actually comes from somewhere else but I literally can't remember it-
- Milia is cold to the touch and barely feels pain; when first learning to cook Milia constantly cut herself and did not realize she did until she saw blood pouring out of her wounds
- Milia's season 1 arc is considerably simple compared to the twins: she starts out scared and alone and, through the Petroniuses compassion, learns to love and be loved. She learns to value herself, stand up for herself and let go of being scared of everything and everyone. She not only mirrors the sister's arcs, but also inspires them into developing through her honest and kind nature. For that reason in post season 1 Milia grows to be the leader of the Bootleg Gear Gang.
- The Angrvadall, Rati and Ukonvasara were all based on the Babr-e Bayan, Milia's relic. The three Symphogears are actually a testbed for a mass produced type of phonic armor development through alchemy; while they can reach the same insane power level that the canon girls do, the Bootleg Gear Gang aren't put in world ending situations and thus don't reach a power level higher than somewhere around GX and AXZ (though they get XV style Gears because I think they're neat-)
- Rebeca and Six are very much like siblings; though they were forced together into a single body, after years of working through it they became nearly inseparable. They both care for and respect each other's autonomy and personal limits, which is why they both wear gender neutral clothes (since Six is uncomfortable wearing traditionally feminine clothing)
- Rebeca was born August 25th making her a Virgo. Six can't remember his birthday, so they make their implant date, July 14th, their birthday. That makes Six's sign Cancer.
- Rebeca/Six were originally planned to be Milia's older siblings; this is still technically true since Six was part of the same undeath experiments that birthed Milia so... yeah! The idea of them inhabiting the same body came from a shower thought that simply stuck around because I really liked it (and also because it's a Gundam 00 reference-)
- also, they're both the strongest Symphogear wielders of the group; Luiza and Helena are stronger when singing in unison, but Rebeca/Six have a unique advantage with being able to switch from two completely different fighting styles on the fly. Additionally Rebeca's brain is simply built different and she constantly pushes her side of Ukonvasara to do increasingly stupid shit like calling down lighting, throwing thunder and eventually using magnetism and electrokinesis. She's very Maria-like when it comes to having an extremely versatile Symphogear and constantly pulling shit out of her ass-

Thinking about knowing Vincent from before he was a killer
In my headcanon timelines, all of the Sinclairs get out of Ambrose for a time vis the state foster system. The twins age out, Bo starts working and Vincent goes to the University of New Orleans for a BA in fine arts.
You run into your first British lit lecture late. There are two spots open, so you decide to forgo the creaking rolley chair and slide in next to some guy you don’t know. You whisper a “hi” as you pull your books out, and he inclines his head towards you in awknowledgement. It’s a loooong lecture, and when your mind begins to wander you start stealing glances at the guy next to you. He’s tall and slim, with shiny dark hair brushing his shoulders. The full face mask catches you off-guard for a moment, but you’ve seen people make stranger fashion statements. Besides, he does seems kind of goth. When the class ends and you give him a quick “see you on Thursday” he turns and looks at you with one piercing blue eye. Good god, you don’t think you’ve ever seen a natural eye that blue. It’s like a clear April sky, in such stark contrast with the rest of him. The interaction only last a few seconds, but you feel like you were pinned down for hours.
You arrive at the next class early and slide into the same seat from before. They’re not assigned of course, but humans are creatures of habbit. Sure enough, mystery man slides in next to you while the professor is still organizing her lecture notes. “Hi.” you whisper again, but this time followed by an introduction. He turns to face you fully, and you’re struck again by that eye. “Vincent. It’s nice to meet you.” Oh god. You panic for a moment as you rack your brain for what you know of sign language, skills that were less than conversational to begin with, covered in several years of rust. You can recall introductions, at least. He must read the panic on your face, or maybe it’s the way you recite his name back to make sure you got it right-”Vincent. That’s pretty.”-because he rips a piece of paper from his notebook and clicks his pen on. Just as the professor starts talking, he slides you a note: ‘Thanks. I got it for my birthday.’ Oh, you realize. So this guy is a dork.
You swing by the library on your way back to your shitty little campus apartment and check out two books on ASL. You want to know what other goofy dad jokes this guy has up his sleeve.
A lot, it turns out. You two begin passing notes during class like you’re 13 again, which leads to hanging around after class to chat. At first it’s just about the readings, peppered with snarky comments and silly puns, but soon you’re talking about everything other than the assignments. He’s funny, you realize, silly and sarcastic-bordering on mean-all at once. You learn that he’s a Fine Arts major, a sculptor, and insanely passionate about his art. He doesn’t talk about his family or childhood a lot, so you talk about yours. The details you do glean are vague: he’s from a very small town (like most people in the South), his mother was a sculptor too, he grew up with siblings, and he spent some time in the foster system. You don’t pry. After all, why bother violating boundaries when there’s so much other stuff to talk about? Art and music and politics and lightheartedly dunking on your peers.Sometimes (often) you have to ask him to slow down or repeat himself or write things out (the books you’re working through don’t cover fancy art terms, especially when you don’t understand what the word means in the first place), but the conversation flows well. It feels natural. You invite him over when to watch Doctor Who reruns, he invites you over to listen to underground gothic heartbreak music. Maybe you develop a tiny bit of a crush on him, it’s whatever.
You find him at the graduation ceremony, just for a moment. He’s got family stuff to do and you understand, your own mother is urging everyone to get to lunch as soon as possible. You give him a loose hug (something you two didn’t begin doing until months into the friendship. He’s reticent with affection, but this feels like an appropriate moment.) and the mailing address of your parents house. You’re still working on lining up an apartment for youself, and you know that if someone sends mail for you after you’re gone, your parents will just give them your new address.
Vincent never writes. You’re more than a little disappointed. You two were friends, right? Pretty good friends, you liked to think. You don’t have any way to reach out to him, but you think about him often. Less so over the years, but still. You hope he’s alright. Hope he’s making his art somewhere.

Tuska 2023
So the metal festival over now but that was fun!
This was three days, my Son and his girlfriend were full three days I was friday saturday and She was on friday.
Definite highlights were Gojira In Flames, Jinjer and Butcher Babies. Avatar kicked plenty of behinds and Clutch did a good show despite technical difficulties.
Young ones got their 15 Warholian munutes of game being on Gojira Instagram and Finnish YLE as frontrow. Here is YLE pic
And yes the dude peeking behind my Son throwing horns is his old man in a kilt. And yes there is nothing but me under the kilt for fucks sake.
Avatar was a great festival opener and good live band. On friday Gojira and Jinjer crushed it.

The kids said my stupid face was on screens from audience whether trance like or moshing like a freak I do not know. This band rules
Young ones liked Arch Enemy too but while I like the band they have way too many guitat solos. I want riffs on riffs and brutality guitat solos are utterly useless 999 times out of thousand and you can keep them.
And we met up with my groovy ex girlfriend which was fun too.
Mokoma had a great tent gig even if it was the most drunken crowd of friday. And Gojira absolutely smashed it.
Today Satan, today. And yes that is bright blue Donald Duck slingbag.
Her friend turns fifty so while on saturday She went to a birthday party ( snd see their new puppy) me and young metalhead couple went back to Tuska.
Orbit Culture was s nice surprisr but despite some rain I left to see Clutch from front roe. And despite drums needing fixing and some looping they went to town. I checked my phone during set and found out that some ranfom female tried to choke my Son but thanks to his great goth girlfriend they got out of situation. And the drigged out assaillant was lucky that I wss elseehere.
We were feeling amgry and down awhile after that but thanks Motionless in White. This was in a way most fun set. My Son wanted to see them. Me and his girlfriend we...found them unintentionently funny emo band. So we just goofed snd danced. As my Son said " I had the gig and a free stand-up show" and it began to pour rain during the set. I had rainponcho from Her and as my son's girlfriend marked " you turned into hairiest, grumpiest purple metal garden Elf"
Then we waited for In Flames. In the downpour. And made new friends.
In Flames eas good. No. Great. DINOSAUR!
That is not a song. Someone had brougth an inflatable dinosaur. On which the vocalist commented and got the chant of Dinosaur! DINOSAUR!" From the crowd and he apparently forgot this is Finland. I guess he thought saying"I want to see someone riding the Dino " was a joke. Still. Finland.
So, someone riding the inflatable dinosaur on people carrying Said dinosaur. In the pit.
I left through the pit because while In Flames was..well in flames I wanted frontrow of Butcher Babies. ( After I left it apparently went even more mental as flood of crowdsurfing began)
I went Mental with Butcher Babies. Carla and Heidi went to Yorktown and it was great show. And thsnkfully there was last december so I could rest and not have cardiac arrest. Will see them again for sure.
Managed to find the youth utterly spent and had a few as none of us gave a shit about Ville Valo. Though. The final heartfelt ballad "When love and death embrace" it is a pretty ballad. It is And it's a ballad.
So we had three person synchronized moshpit the whole song. Laughing.
They went sunday, me and Her went to movies.

Today wasn’t that good of a day if I’m being honest. I had to go home sick, and one of my friends spilt her drink on my pants and stained them. Barely any of my friends asked if I was ok, or where I was, but that’s ok. When I was waiting for a pass to the nurses office, a girl in a really cute blue sweater asked if I was ok, and offered me a hug. It was nice. Monday I’m going bowling with a friends-friend, and I hope I can get to know him better! I ended up missing an algebra test, so I will probably have to make that up after spring break, which sounds HORRIBLE. At least summer is coming up soon, along with my birthday!
I’ve been wanting to dress more masculine to try and pass, but overall it’s been hard. No matter how many loose t-shirts or weird basketball shorts I wear I still get misgendered. It might be my face, body shape, or just my voice. And also I hate how much “passing” depends on dressing gross. I hate wearing what I have, and I have a couple trad goth things that I love. Every time I wear the trad goth outfits, one of the people I talk to constantly asks me to “pick a side” and that since I enjoy wearing those types of outfits that I’m not “really trans”. Which is funny because she isn’t even trans, so it feels really stupid when she polices me on what I can or can’t wear as a trans man.

stan invites the goth kids to his 13th birthday. at some point michael sneaks out back for a smoke because it's loud and overwhelming and kenny follows him out asking to bum one. they chat. it goes something like this (abridged from me&hawk's dm's):
kenny: i'm surprised stan still talks to you guys, tbh, he's such a dweeb. i always thought your 'whole stick it to the man' vibe was cool as hell.
michael: 'stick it to the man vibe'????
kenny: yeah, like, i get it. fuck society dude, shit's ass
michael: ...ykno what? cheers i'll drink to that
and then they talk about music and since kenny listens to literally everything under the sun, that includes the good goth shit and even some deep cuts and michael has an entire fucking Moment internally because at the bright age of 14 years old he's probably deep in his "oh my god i'm gay" crisis and now this ratty little blonde with a crooked grin is charming the shit out of him
maybe they kiss about it, but other than that it never goes far. however they do send each other playlists sometimes. it's only ever a funny little crush. years later pete rags on him for having a ""type""

GAH okay okay its a HUGE tossup between two of them and it doesn't help they are Brothers but I think I will have to say it's Umbra! Infodump that's super long and also art by my sick ass friend under the cut.
This is him! My feral bastard man, the one with the blue hair and pronouns! I realised while selecting these I literally do not own a single piece of art that is him by himself, he's basically glued to the hip of his husband, Penchant (written by my friend over at @/cherryfull, who also does draw all of this GORGEOUS art. The other person in the very last picture is his little brother, Axel)
Please know Umbra isn't small, Pen is just a fucking Giant of a man at a hearty 6'7"
[Quick info; he is a like 5'8-5'10 ish polynesian-french transman and a [very, Very fallen] angel of knowledge, and he struck a deal with the primordial Chaos to share and gain all the knowledge he possibly could in order to bolster his magic to an unreasonable level when he calls on it.]
He's a weird little man who I have been writing for like, 11?? Years now? He started out SO different, all warm and bright, passive and pastel/cottagecore, but through all of his batshit insane Events he's ended up this goth mildly aggressive edgelord (affectionate) who is mean for fun but is also still secretly helpful.
I think a huge part of him being my favourite, aside from him literally being my oldest, is that he has always been how I processed a lot of stressful things and got through unhappy times. I love calling his current era his "villain era" but it literally kicked off with him deciding to stop being a doormat of a boy and stand up for himself. Most of what he does is direct response to his own boundaries as he is STILL learning how to set them.
That said, he did once break someone's leg and dispose of them on said someone's ex boyfriend's doorstep with a boxed homemade cheesecake that said Happy Birthday on it; it was because those two were Yet Again pining for each other but were not doing Anything about it, and it was driving him nuts. He's still the village bastard because of this, and, even if it was a really convoluted plan to get those two back together, it wasn't exactly something a Normal and Sane man would do.
He also has a BLATANT disrespect for personal space with others most of the time, at least in terms of their homes. He has often and frequently, Uninvited, portalled into other people's homes. It has caused more than one fight, and once he agrees to not coming over unless he has asked permission or invited, he usually stops coming altogether because to him, it's no longer "fun."
I know, I know, you may be asking, why do you love this objectively terrible man, Observatory. Well, you see. I find him very funny. YES I know I write him but my very small rp group all agree sometimes the muse writes themselves and in the case of Umbra, he does so often and with wild abandon. He got jealous of a set of weights his husband put on his back and frisbee'd them into the wall so he could perch there like he usually does instead. He nearly threw a vampire off a yacht into a river because they were eyeing him a little too much. He regularly makes Nyquil Chicken and gives it to unsuspecting fools who, for some reason, keep forgetting he loves giving people Nyquil Chicken. Do you see why he's hilarious to me.
ALSO, while yes he is a terrible person with zero (well, One, but he's his sister-in-law's husband's brother so. Distant-ish family?) friends outside of direct family by marriage, if you DO manage to earn his loyalty, he is actually not just a Better person to you, but he is a Kind and Caring and VICIOUSLY protective person. How you met: Civilian You hummed as you finished up another cake. This was your artistic outlet. It was a slow Sunday, not many events going on, so you were finishing up on some orders for tomorrow. The bell to the shop rang and you wiped your hands of icing to greet your customer. The man looked crammed in the small shop as his dark hair almost touched the ceiling. You thought he looked handsome despite the face mask that matched his dark hoodie and attire. "Here to pick up for John Price," he said gruffly and you went to the back fridge to retrieve his order. You were surprised as you pulled out the cake decorated with gold and silver icing. You remembered making it this morning, buttercream and red velvet if you remembered correctly. "Happy 40th" it read in delicate lettering as you boxed it up. You exited to find the man looking at his phone and holding cash. "Here you go," you said as you rung him up. "You look a little too young to be celebrating someone's 40th," you commented as you counted out the cash. "It's for my boss," he replied curtly, "got sent to pick it up before tonight." As you handed him his change, you smiled. "Well let him know I wish him a happy birthday," you said and sent him on his way.
Later that day, Simon knew he would be returning to your shop as that was some the best confections he's had in awhile. Something about the delicate buttercream paired with the rich red velvet made him want more. Plus it didn't hurt that you were the cute little baker who caught his eye with your face coated in icing and arms filled with delicate pieces of artwork.
A peek into your relationship: "What are we listening to?" you boyfriend, Simon, asked as you decorated some cupcakes. "Depeche Mode," you smiled and placed a little icing on his scrunched up nose. You laughed as you finished up another row of the small baked goods. "It sounds like an opening to a crime show drama," he replied as another song began. You rolled your eyes as he critiqued your music taste. "You just don't know good music," you joked as you added some finishing touches. These weren't for anything special but you knew Simon enjoyed some sweet treats before he left for deployment. You always made sure to give him a nice array of icing and cake flavors. You still couldn't believe he hadn't found a favorite yet. "If you can even call that music," he said under his breath before you presented him with a carrot cake and cream cheese delicacy. Maybe it was the cupcake but Simon found himself in better spirits. "I like this song," he commented as you began to clean up. You couldn't believe your ears. "What did you say?" you teased as you brushed off your apron. "You heard me, love," he said as he scarfed down another one. "Funny," you began to say as he looked at your curiously, "that one is called 'Ghosts again'."

Oh man, my WIP that I currently have had to put on pause because of Life - I wrote a passage about Steve Harrington coming out to Hopper, and I am very fond of it. My other favourite creations of 2022 are some stencils my partner and i made together.

There are many things that I'd like to create more digital art for but which I simply am not at the level I'd like to be with, you know?
