@cupcakeslushie 's Sep!au is super cool!!! And I literally adore Three with all my soul he is so freaking amazing!!! So what did I do?
Comic.
(Words underneath each panel, I gen forgot my handwriting is awful, apologies!)
"Donnie, you have to stop hanging out with the purple dragons."
"Why? We're frien-"
"No, you're not! They're using you!"
"What would they have to use?! Come on, April!"
"You're searching for something that isn't even there just to get mad at me!"
"No, *you* come on!"
"I care about you, Dee. I don't want to see you get hurt."
"No, you only pretend to care cause one tries to!"
"Look, I get it. You hate me, and... I hate you too. We don't have to be anything more than that."
---
I had to cut it down a bit to make sure it was only ten panels but I hope you still like it!!! I tried to keep it as true to the characters as possible. I really wanted to include Three's hallucinations in there somewhere but with the limited amount of panels I didn't get the chance. I hope to draw something related to that in the future!
I dont remember if this has been stated or if this was a hc but I honestly feel like even though Three is grateful to be apart of a family, given his faint memories of Draxum actually giving a crap about him prior to being affected with emperium, he'd be afraid that they don't actually care and they're going to rip it all away from him. Also I remember it being said that Three kinda tests the boundaries of their patience to see if that's going to happen? So that plus the purple dragons ask kinda culminated in this! Along with the idea that part of the reason Donnie doesn't get along with April is because since she argues back, she must hate him, so if she hates him then why shouldn't he hate her back? He doesn't see that she's trying to have a (platonic) relationship with him. Also I feel like he totally distances himself from her so what happened to Tim doesn't happen to her cause he knows his brothers care about her and they're already doing enough for him, he can't be even more of a burden to them. (This is all hcs ofc!!)
Also completely unrelated but hc that Three had paint all over his hand and touched the back of his mask but didn't realise and had that stain on there for months until somebody pointed it out to him-

@runaljod - for thorin
Pain echoed throughout Signe's body. The deed was done, Alduin was dead — or at least she thought he was. The Dovahkiin had not absorbed his soul but perhaps Akatosh took it before she could for fear of what it would do to her. The souls already swirling within her body have started to change the young woman. Perhaps the soul of the World Eater would have been too much for her body to handle.
Either way she wanted to go home to see papa and Lena. Blood clouded the vision in her left eye and she prayed to all the Aedra that she hadn't totally lost sight in it. Tsun was speaking to her but she could only half hear him. Her strength was failing her and it would be a miracle if she could make it to a safe place once back in Nirn to sleep for a little while. 'When you are ready to rejoin the living, just bid me so, and I will send you back.' Those words caught her attention though. "I'm more than ready, please send me back."
The God was using a Thu'um to send her back it seemed. Nahl Daal Vus. It hurt worse that she thought it would, there was a pulling feeling in her stomach like she was going one way and then was pulled in another, followed by a dizzying sensation. Suddenly her feet met ground and she stumbled, falling to one knee and letting out a hiss of pain. "Ruth wah nivahriin tsun. That was not a soft landing." It took only a moment for her to realize she was not in Skuldafn Temple like she'd expected to come back to. Was this a — dwemer ruin? "It would be my luck that I end up in a dwemer ruin after a fight like that."
She tried to rise back to her feet but pain shot through her chest and she fell back to her knees with a cry of pain. "Shit," she cursed while trying to catch her breath she definitely had at least one broken rib. Probably from the blow by Alduins tail. Shifting around she turned enough to look behind her and stopped. A — man? No, his stature was shorter than a human man, but wasn't built like a Mer. He didn't resemble any race she'd encountered in Nirn. Had Tsun sent her further than she realized? "Ah — if you're a bandit I assure you even this state it is not a good idea to attack me. If you're not though, perhaps you might lend me a hand? I'm a bit more wounded than I originally thought."

Ryuunosuke allowed his eyes to laze around the people walking past them, with no intention other than just keeping himself preoccupied now that it seemed that Rio won't feel like talking again anytime soon.
They sat on one of the tables outside a nearby cafe, more or less patiently waiting for the rest of their friends to come back from whatever shopping adventures they have gone to. Ryuunosuke already knew what to buy and where to go, hence, he was the first to finish, noting a couple of shopping bags occupying the chair next to him. Rio wasn't meant to shop from the beginning and only tagged along because she had nothing to do for the day.
Rio sat idly in front of him, scrolling through her phone with one hand, and taking another sip from her iced coffee with the other. She was probably going through her social media feed to find something interesting to talk about with him.
The absence of loud chatters bugged him. He was way too used to having his ears blown off by his extremely talkative friends. Ryuunosuke would have pulled out his earphones to keep his ears occupied for the time being, but he felt like doing so would result in Rio dissing him for his music taste once again and honestly, he wasn't feeling up for having another argument.
That's why he focused his attention towards the passersby instead. Not too quiet for his own discomfort and not too loud to distract Rio. Plus, he can find a thing or two interesting enough to think about for the next couple of minutes.
So, when a lady with a ferret in her arms walked past them, Ryuunosuke couldn't help himself but think.
"There was a boy I liked back then," he spoke out loud without care. "His face reminds me of a weasel."
Rio immediately looked up from her phone and turned to look at Ryuunosuke, who was still gazing towards the people walking past them.
"He would show me a bunch of things I already knew about. But it didn't matter that I already knew those things." Ryuunosuke tore his gaze away from the street and finally acknowledged the iced coffee before him that was left untouched.
"I'm just happy that someone outside my family was willing to play with me."
Ryuunosuke unwrapped the straw and poked through the sealed plastic cup with it, giving it a little shake before taking a sip.
Rio just wordlessly watched him the whole time with bored eyes but was attentive nonetheless. She probably doesn't care enough to let him know what she thinks, but she also probably cared enough to allow him to elaborate on his own.
It's an unseen serious side of her that Ryuunosuke appreciates so much. It's what makes her the easiest for him to confide to.
"Parents had been telling their kids not to talk to me, let alone play, probably thinking I'm up to no good or something." Ryuunosuke frowned a little.
It was a very distant memory, he has a lot of friends now, someone he could see a future with, and Ryuunosuke could no longer even recall the face of those people. But he couldn't help but feel even a tinge of sadness whenever he recalls any part of his childhood that was outside the happy barrier his family had been protecting him in.
"Most kids listened and left me alone, but he..." He paused a little, eyes blinking to a widened pair like he just considered something. "...but Itachi-kun didn't. He always finds a way to play with me no matter how many times he's been told not to."
"Weasel."
Rio blurted out after a couple of seconds of silence.
Ryuunosuke let out a deep but mellow chuckle at that, his eyes squinting into nothingness as his grin grew wider. "Fitting, isn't it? I used to think that he was named after what he looked like, just like me."
But I doubt I'll ever know if that was the case or not. He thought to himself wistfully.
Rio hummed lightly as she rested her head onto her palm, the interest and amusement in her eyes were steadily growing, from what Ryuunosuke observed despite the nonchalant front.
"So this Itachi-kun was like your first friend, then. Did you hang out with him often?" She asked.
"Nope." Was the immediate answer. "I had a feeling he had been sneaking out so he could play with me. Something told me that his parents caught him and he wasn't allowed to leave his house alone." There was a slight twitch in Ryuunosuke's right eye as his frown deepened. "I haven't seen him since then."
Rio didn't say anything as she watched Ryuunosuke pick up his iced coffee and take a long sip from it. She had a feeling he wasn't going to just end the conversation from there.
Ryuunosuke doesn't like leaving things hanging, after all.
"My house is quite far from the station, but I'd rather wake up early and walk there instead of taking the bus," he continued... although Rio couldn't tell if he was swerving off the topic or not.
He fiddled with the table napkin before wrapping it around the wet plastic cup. "Now that we're older and likely hold a lot of freedom to go wherever we want to..."
He quickly glanced towards Rio before looking away, breaking off the momentary eye contact. "I was hoping I could get a glimpse of him if I take my time walking around our neighbourhood."
Rio blinked repeatedly at that and leaned back in her seat. "Since when have you been doing this?"
"Since I enrolled to our school." Ryuunosuke picked up his iced coffee to take another quick sip.
"And no luck?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Nope." He shook the cup now that there were mostly iced cubes in it remaining. "He probably went to a school far from here... or his family probably moved out of town, who knows?"
With a tired sigh, Ryuunosuke placed down the empty plastic cup, his fingers tapping on the table now that he had nothing else to keep his hands busy.
"I just wanted to know if we could still be friends, so I'm a little bit too hopeful."
As if Rio noticed what he was doing, she pushed a sealed cup of iced coffee towards him with a snort. It was originally meant for Sugaya in case he returned soon enough, but she could just order him another one instead.
Ryuunosuke raised an eyebrow at that. "You realize you're gonna have to make another order again, right?"
"The ice is about to melt away with this one, anyways." She gave him a nonchalant shrug before standing up. "I doubt Sugaya-kun would like that."
Ryuunosuke allowed a small smile as he gently took the offered cup of iced coffee. He used his old straw to poke through its seal.
Rio can be extremely nosy and intrusive when she sees someone hiding anything that interests her. Ryuunosuke was long aware of that since being classmates with her in their second year and he doesn't like it, so he had been cautious around her since then. That's how he figured out along the way that what kept her mouth shut from spilling anything was to outright confide them to her.
She knows damn well how to keep a secret, Ryuunosuke learned after the Kyoto trip. And maybe it was just him, but after confiding a secret to her once, Rio stopped prying things from him.
Likely because she knew he could trust her to keep another one.
And she's not wrong. It wasn't exactly a secret, but Ryuunosuke had never talked about this to anyone, not even to his family, so he supposed this counted.
Rio soon returned to their table with a small tray of brand-new iced coffee. Ryuunosuke thought she was too quick, but he supposed he was probably zoning out more than he was thinking.
"So..." Ryuunosuke tore his eyes away from where they were zoning out, to see a mildly grinning Rio before him. Um. That's not good. "You've really been crushing on boys since you were a kid, huh?"
Ryuunosuke frowned sourly at the annoying way she was wriggling her eyebrows at him.
"Is that seriously your main takeaway out of everything I just told you?"
Rio may be the easiest for him to confide in, but goddamn, she sure knows how to push his buttons.
