“When the boy opened his eyes, he found himself sitting on a throne that he had not asked for. When he sought his friend of the past, he clung to his memories even though he knew there was no going back.”
For the longest time, Romeo could remember nothing of his life prior to becoming a puppet, thoughtless and powerless to steer the course of fate down a different path. Eyes remained watching, unable to fully process what they would witness, day in and day out. That is, until the day came that he woke up. By then, there had already been blood on his hands, countless innocent lives ended by a single command, given by his own self.
Designed to bear the blame for such a tragedy, there was little Romeo could do to change what had been done.
But he would do his best to fix it, as well as prevent what had yet to be done.
The crown had been a weight placed upon his head that he hadn’t wanted, but Romeo rose to the occasion all the same, taking lead and charging head first into the maws of death itself. Despite having not been himself at the time, Romeo could recall it all with excruciatingly painful detail. The guilt was sure to slowly eat away at him, but holding onto what precious little memories of his past that he had, he used it to drive his cause forward the best he could.
It was only natural that he would fall to the one who bore his dearest friend’s face– heart and soul lying dormant within a puppet vessel that would deliver his end like an angel delivering justice.
Finally… Romeo could rest; Finally, he could have true freedom.
Or at least, that’s what he had thought.
Once more, he had awoken, fixed and renewed, bearing a body that didn’t beg for the release of constant flames licking their way up and down his limbs at any given moment. No longer was his body plagued with the threat of overheating by merely existing, allowing the king to move about freely without the need of a larger, protective (cooling) shell. Whoever had fixed him had made sure to follow Geppetto’s chronicled notes with the utmost care.
Vaguely, he could recall a somewhat familiar voice whispering to him, though from where, he did not know.
Take care not to waste this second chance, brave one.
There was little doubt in his mind as to what his next goal would be: Fix what he had broken, and repay the kindness that had been given to him by paying it forward.

I'm also planning to rewatch Godzilla (1954) and Kong (1933). Idk i used to like to emotionally beat up Jim a lot, so probably one of the short stories where i explore all his traumas

Probably Sorry, Lass. I originally wrote it in 2015 and i'm fairly certain it ends with a mushy marriage scene.

Surprisingly, no. I think i got a few rude comments back when i first started, but honestly everyone's been too kind to me.

Hell yeah brother that's what i do!! I love angsty, emotionally charged smut. my personal favorite to write is angry, hatefuck type of stuff. or when they're using it to avoid talking about feelings.

Not that i've ever posted lmao. I don't usually post non canon compliant fics for whatever fandom i'm working in.

Kinda. a few years ago someone let me know that my work had been reposted to a fic site i don't use and one quick message got them to take it down. Also, i once posted a fic as a one off, forgot that i'd done that, and used the same scene much later in a larger story - and some nice commenter on the original let me know that someone had stolen my idea lmao
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope, never had anyone request that and don't want to do so incorrectly.
Have you ever cowritten a fic?
Kind of? an old friend and i used to write separate chapters of our self insert marvel fics and mush them together into one story lol. never posted it anywhere, it was just shared emails and google docs.
What's your all time favorite ship?
God, that's hard. probably McKirk. as i've gotten older and unlearned all the internal shame about self inserts it's gotten easier to do a self insert story instead of an established pair.
What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Every few weeks i pluck away at my regency au Miraak fic. i don't think i'll ever actually finish it because it's just so big in my head it's hard to get on paper, but i hope i do someday.
What are your writing strengths?
I'm very comfortable writing sex scenes. I think that often when the author is uncomfortable about writing explicit sex the reader can really feel it in the story and i put in a lot of work to get over those mental hurdles. i've been told i'm good at characterization, which is awesome! i love getting in a character's head!
What are your writing weaknesses?
Very often i find myself bogged down with the need to describe every little scene. it's a major reason i haven't posted a longfic in a while - i want to write these big stories but find myself getting lost in the little details. i also have a terrible habit of editing myself while i'm writing, which just gets me stuck in an unproductive loop.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Since i'm only fluent in English, this isn't something i am confident in. i've written in a few fictional languages for fics before but would probably reach out or suggest another author if a reader wanted something that heavily involved this.
First fandom you wrote for?
Twilight babey!!! self insert oc to smooch Edward Cullen when i was a little middle schooler!!! i didn't know what fanfiction was but i knew i had a big ol crush on him.
Favorite fic you've written?
not to be cringe on main, but most of my favorites are things that never got published. they're the little things still hanging out in my google docs that i go back to over and over. i rewrote all of star trek into darkness word for word just to make bones and jim kiss, i made a self insert just to smooch skurge after hyperfixating on thor ragnarok, and the weird time a few months ago where i wrote like 40k words of a cowboy romance. i read them often and wish that i'd written more on many of them but i do not read my published works.

Booooy howdy here's a bit of a doozy. Where do I begin!
Well I chose my old username back in mid 2017 when I was a wee lass writing silly fics on fanfiction.net. I chose it because it was Italian for "You are beautiful", because 1) I'm half Italian and 2) I thought it was sweet and wholesome.
To start: as I said above, I'm half Italian. That's because I'm Italian-American, that side of the family *has* been for quite a few generations now and they absolutely fit ALL the stereotypes you could think of when you hear "Italian-American". Stupidly proud of their heritage, and usage of silly botched up slang all while knowing little to no actual Italian. I know some stuff mainly through osmosis but yea. I definitely can't speak the language and I'll admit I simply do not have the brain power to memorize another language. I tried it with Spanish in high school already and it didn't go very well LOL
So yeah. I was one of "those" people as a teen. Idk why, it's stupid and I'm simply not like that anymore! So that's the biggest reason, but it's also not the only reason.
Number two is simplicity. Seeing that it's a common Italian phrase it's no surprise that "Sei Bellissima" straight up is taken across different sites, leading me to have to make some funky additions so that I can make accounts on there. This can lead to some confusion. Not to mention those additions can make the username long as hell in general and a pain to type out. So I went for a shorter name that will still be easier to remember, even in the cases where additions are necessary.
And uhh regarding the "Sweet and wholesome" thing- I still try to be positive where I can, but I've been through the wringer a *lot* since then and I simply do not have as much happy energy as I did back then. Believe me, it's sad and I really had no idea what was coming for me at the time but- being that overtly positive all the time definitely drained me a lot more than necessary. I guess that's another reason for a change; it all just didn't fit who I am anymore.
So yeah, to put it all simply: it doesn't represent the kind of person I perceive myself to be today, so I decided it was time for a change. As for my decision-making process behind that change?
Lulubalu is pronounced "loo-loo-buh-loo" and is derived from the word "hullabaloo", which is a word used to refer to a commotion or fuss over something. I kinda think it fits how I react to things I really enjoy and hyperfixate on; I just go absolutely nuts. Mostly not publicly but uh. Yeah I'm very enthusiastic sdfjkhsk
The "Lulu" part is just because I like that name and the way it sounds when spoken. It isn't even my real name I just like it a lot lol. Speaking of. When you wanna speak to me now, you can use "Lulu" to address me
ANYWAY. I'm still me; I've certainly changed a lot over the years and the username change is a nice way to reflect that, I think. All of the stuff I've posted over the years is still here so if you've got anything bookmarked you'll want to update that (I will be changing my art tag to [#lulu's doodles] and will be taking the free time I have to update all the posts skdjfhskj). yes, and mostly gay, many kinks, from vanilla to wtf are you even writing type things, but i do seem to lean toward bdsm dynamic in smut, daddy kink often, and a/b/o (tho i really love writing non-traditional dynamic, a lot of omega/omega and alpha/alpha)

yes, and probably sam wilson/harry potter, honestly, I really still adore that one, it worked, I swearm, harry was older and fucked up with ptsd, and sam was awesome, as usual

honestly, i try not to do it anymore, cuz I don't like making it harder for readers in anyway to consume, so unless I can keep it short and clear enough that you can still gather what they are saying without knowing the language, then I leave it out. I will try hard to find other ways, and i'm not super into translations posted after the text, looks clunky, and not super into translations at the end, but yeah, to each their own

dudes, i dont know when i ate last, no idea, like maybe some MASH or like Highlander in notebook as a kid? probably my first shared was interview with the vampire, resulting in much anxiety as a teen

I went into this trying to cause chaos but now I'm genuinely saying this because they kinda need to be called out.
Crimson, the big demon, the player, is kind of bleugh.
I would say pathetic but in truth the term they need should be more complex and left to interpretation.
Crimson, you clearly have issues and you have a horrible way of dealing with them. That is clear beyond belief. (It's even stated by lili herself.)
You should probably realize that you're never going to get what you want out of things. You clearly want some emotional attachment however the way you determined a "fool proof way" to get it will only lead you to disappointment. Though, personally, I don't care. You did this to yourself and you wrapped all of us into it because you're both selfish and blind. That's not my problem.
I can only be so calm and uncaring about your behavior, though I guess I still don't care lmao.
I don't care what happens anymore, I don't care about if we die(though idk about the others' opinions lol). We've been doomed to a cycle. We'll break eventually. The moment we weren't allowed to die was the moment that proved there is no turning point, there is nothing for us anymore.
God, all I wanted to do was relax.
I wish we were still with Dust, I really want cuddles right now.

I try to use it in fics considering I'm in the Hetalia fandom but I do try to add translations at the bottom/on the notes if it's something that most people wouldn't know by now or more complicated items. I try to not use it cause I don't want to be that person with awful Google Translate or sucky translation app language errors but yk, sometimes duty calls.

Probably Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal or Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V if I'm being honest. I don't remember y'all. It's been a SECOND.
What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
I wanna write Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains content but the show is so SLOW and BORING for me but I really LOVE Spectre and I would love to maybe write some Respectfulshipping.

Last song: let me quickly check my VLC player on the phone cause my memory is a sieve orz Oh, it was A Kind of Magic by Queen. I tend to not listen to music a lot because my living situation currently is such that the TV in the next room is on basically all day and that's more sound than I can bear so no additional sound for me, which includes music, unfortunately.
Last film: uuuuuh it was probably Elemental when I was visiting my brother and his wife, it's actually not bad, nice family dynamics in there, but also nothing special if I'm honest (it did make me tear up a bit because the emotional weight was definitely there, or maybe the main theme hits a bit too close to home, Idk, but yeah)
Current/last read: I am embarrassed to say that I'm still on Blow-Up by Cortázar (a book @illwynd actually gifted me, double RIP to me) because I'm an idiot who can't move her ass to read anymore even though I've absolutely fallen in love with the stories, especially Axolotl. I really need to sit down again and continue.
Currently watching: my computer screen. That's sadly not a joke because, well, I'm a software dev and also currently working on my final thesis in Augmented/Mixed/Virtual Reality, so most of my time is spent in front of the screen. Other than that I'm not really watching any series (what the question is probably about?) though I'd like to try the One Piece live action show at some point because it actually looks good. Knowing me I'll probably watch it in five years or so lol (late-to-the-party syndrome, I have it)
Current obsessions: ironically, despite my problem with too much sound currently, I have started playing the (classical/acoustic) guitar in August (minus quite a few weeks because I just can't get rid of being ill, I hate it and I just want to be healthy pls), which is a lot of fun, and the history of the instrument is so interesting that I ended up learning about so many string instruments, it's not even funny lol I watched a more than 2-hour long video about how a classical guitar is built and am preparing for watching how an electric guitar is built (another 2+ hour video). I may have a problem.
On another note, I got into Paleo Pines, which is a really cute 3D farming sim with dinos. Can only recommend, befriending dinos in different colors is very good for my mental health because they're very cute (especially the pride flag colored ones).

I'M SO ANNOYED AT THIS ANON. HOW DID THEY MAKE SUCH A TRASH TAKE ON THE BEST FIC EVER WTF??! DID THEY READ PROPERLY WTF?? OR UNDERSTAND HOW LOVE, JEALOUSY, AND OTHER EMOTIONS WORK?? They sound so pathetic omg. Why did they "read" this fic and then say the worst things omg? Hollyhomburg is so much nicer than me for calmly explaining it so well in their reply.
Ooh this ask gets so long. Sorry lol. I love bily so much omg. Tempted to send this or shorter (and prob nicer lol) version of this to hollyhomburg but they haven't replied to my ask on agreeing about the "manipulative" mc thing so idk hm. (They do seem to be answering more asks recently though wow)

Tbf I misunderstood Jimin with his last secret. Update: I think I don't dislike him anymore after getting to understand how he handles self-hatred. It's so sad TT I stil think Jimin and mc need to talk about it more for Jimin's sake and have some 1-on-1 bonding to fully resolve this issue for me though. They've felt awkward and distant since Tae's secret came out imo. We get Yoongi and Tae in the next ch though yay!! Sad that not every relationship is happy and romantic rn. But it's realistic that some relationships are slower to develop than others. And hollyhomburg would prob struggle to write a bunch of relationship developments at the same time. People (including me lol) need to be patient. and trust in the love and care the pack has for each other.
And the mc being "manipulative" part is instinctual to her according to hollyhomburg. It's understandable that people feel confused or interpreted it wrongly. But mc is a precious lil baby. I don't think it's bad that she is "manipulative" by acting cute and appealing to the alpha's instincts. Both sides are happy when she's being cute and lovely. (Did I interept this right??) And she doesn't have any ulterior motives at any point of the fic imo. Hollyhomburg also said this and that most of it is just how Jimin sees it. Jimin is just a paranoid boy :/
And Yoongi is a sweet boy. And Yoongi and mc went through some TRAUMA. (the trauma and how it affects them was written so well. how can you not understand and love these 2 omg) YOONGI HAS BEEN WORKING FOR MONTHS (AND STILL IS WORKING) ON MAKING A PERFECT CUSTOM COMFY HOUSE FOR ALL OF THEM! ACTS OF SERVICE KING. And there is so much explained in the fic about these two compared to Jimin and the other boys. I will only agree that Yoongi seems distant to the other boys and it's kinda sad. But I believe that they all love and care for each other. And the relationship between Yoongi and the boys will slowly develop into a happy, loving relationship again.
Was I too harsh on this anon? (I may have gotten too emotional idk. I am very protective over irl and bily Yoongi as well as bily mc so yeah lol. Hollyhomburg wrote all of bily pack to be so precious but I love these two even more) This anon seems so dumb to totally not understand how mc and Yoongi think...Only excuse I'll give is if they don't understand abo, mating mark, polyamory, and love in fics omg... i think that maybe they haven’t grasped the fact that like real people, the characters holly has written are more than just surface level, black and white emotions like a lot of stories show— they’ve taken time to delicately craft each of their characters in BILY
i think that holly has done well with the pacing of all the relationships, and it’s come off very realistic of what a poly relationship would look like from my understanding. not everyone is gonna fall head-first into love, it’s not always going to linear and i think that this series has shown that everyone falls in love in different ways and for different reasons. that emotions are complicated, the selfishness that comes with thinking about people you love while giving so much without maybe their understanding
from what i get, the m/c being manipulative comes from survival instinct, that maybe even she isn’t aware that she’s doing it, it’s something that kind of just happened, a habit that she can’t break. old habits die hard and i don’t think her initial intent is malicious in any way i think she’s honestly just scared and from what’s happened to her in the past i think she’s just trying to protect herself. i think for jimin, he knows where she was before the pack, he knows the people she was associated with and it’s only fair that he’s paranoid when they’re both very very good at masking emotions and turning a blind eye to things that maybe shouldn’t be brushed over. i’d assume that jimin is also aware that if she really did want to harm any of the pack for whatever reason she probably would have done so by now (i think it’s just his love for tae that has his skepticism spiked)
in the reply to that ask holly worded yoongi’s thought process and actions very well. maybe the person that sent in the ask hasn’t experienced any sort of past trauma themselves and therefore glazed over the complexity of emotions after such a traumatic event? idk the original ask came off a little tone death like they hadn’t considered each of the characters and their individual perspectives and past trauma
in yoongi’s defense he lost contact with the rest of the pack to protect them from his family, and i think naturally, even if you love someone a lot, a loss of contact for months is gonna put a standstill in the relationship, like the m/c, yoongi has been through so so much and like holly explains there’s always been slight favoritism, it was always, and will always be tae and jimin, just like jin and namjoon. sure the m/c and yoongi were thrusted into a relationship with doom hanging over them but there was love, and as much as yoongi loved the pack he’d learnt to love another even if their situation hadn’t been the most ideal. and as much as the m/c was reserved at the start, meeting the pack i think yoongi is slowly learning to love all of them again even if he already knows how, i think it’s about him finding comfort in a place where everything could still be somewhat uncertain
i don’t think he’s wrong either for the slight jealousy he feels, he probably felt like a hero, a pretty shitty one but having just the two of them survive for so long as suddenly your soulmate is being bombarded with 6 times the love than he was giving must be hard for him. and as holly explained it’s jealousy in the sense he’s scared he won’t be useful anymore and just :( poor yoongs, i’m glad they’re spending more time together now i love yoongi x m/c content
i think maybe that the anon had only surface level view of the story, maybe hadn’t thought about it from a new perspective, either the author’s, or the characters in the book, or read other people’s thoughts and feelings and similar experiences to those in the story or they themselves haven’t experienced anything that could help them sympathize with these characters, having a very black and white perspective of complex characters and emotions

Bree and Timberly though! Thank you sm for giffing them❤️ I love that they didn’t just let Timberly be the dumb one and that Bree fully admitted that she was being terrible to her and apologized. Them sleeping together was a bonus and idk if they’re going to be serious but they’re cute. I love how vulnerable Bree was the morning after like ‘what does yous laid mean’ cracked me up lol. Hannah being gay too though, wow I hope she gets or has a gf. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I like the show more every week and really wish it was getting more than 8 episodes. I know 22 episode seasons like how regular sitcoms do it is out but but for a show like this, 16 or even 13 episodes would work I think?
of course! i love doing it and honestly its a bit extra fun when its for stuff that doesnt really have a lot of content. but its a good show so im sure it'll pick up and more big content creators will be making edits. its funny though because as much as i love it i was actually feeling pretty frustrated for various reasons and thinking about quitting. just finish my wips and be done making edits but reboot reeled me back in
anyway. yeah! its not very often a show surprises me but i'll say this show has more than once. i thought maybe they were gonna go that way with timberly too and i thought we were gonna see them trying to get her kicked off the show but then turns out she could act. i also didnt think they were gonna go there with bree and timberly even though i totally thought they should. tho when bree was on the phone with reed i was like "they did didnt they?" and then they did!
like i said in another post i was expecting there to be sapphic characters and i thought maybe hannah. i actualy wanted something to happen with elaine but it looks like theyre setting something with zack. also kimia! i love her so im happy shes there regardless but shes another character i thought might be gay especially since shes married to a woman in real life so my guess is her character isnt gonna be straight either. idt they'll go there with janae but i can totally see her being into women too. after she pointed out women dont scissor and its a bs male fantasy i was like 🤔 but yeah timberly and bree were the two characters i wasnt expecting to go there lol. even after it happened i was like is it gonna be a one time fun thing is it gonna be just about bree, a straight woman, having sex with someone as a palate cleanser but not only was that the opening scene but immediately shes wondering if shes gay and obviously coming to the conclusion that shes not straight and being totally cool with it. i hate the whole "i dont like using labels" thing and i get that some people do feel that way and nothing wrong with that but thats a notorious way to avoid saying bisexual on tv. i also hated the "no one says lesbian anymore" like it was some outdated term not to mention completely wrong. but aside from that i loved the episode and i love the show. it has me laughing out loud every episode
and yes i was thinking that too. i think i said that on another post too about bree being vulnerable and nervous about being good. its especially nice since idt she really is vulnerable with others very often. it was a good scene and funny. lol the whole looking stuff up was so funny. "yous laid" would be a good ship tag lol
i still don't think it'll develop into anything but at this point i wouldnt be surprised either way
i didnt know it was only getting 8. i guess thats not abnormal for a first season in a comedy, even before streamers. i do hate that its common practice now to do 8-10 episode seasons tho. it can work but generally i think shows should definitely be longer than that

5. What was your favourite book as a child? I wasn't too much into reading when I was a child, so I didn't have a favourite book.
6. Do you prefer baths or showers? Showers, but just 'cause I never have the time to take a bath, unfortunately.

Tell us about an early childhood memory: When I was 5 I went on holiday with my parents in Switzerland to meet some relatives that live there, the only thing I remember of that trip is when we all went to a lake and me and my cousins fed the ducks. I think it was the first time ever I saw a duck and I thought they were cute lol
19. What is the strangest thing you have eaten? I don't know if it can be considered a strange thing to eat (sorry, I'm picky about food, I don't eat strange stuff lol), but one time I tried a lime and pink pepper chip and I regretted it.

These moments are genuinely funny to me).

omg i always check things 5 times before sending bc i'm too paranoid i forgot to check the anon on lmfao i used to open an incognito chrome window to send asks but since i talk too much and now tumblr lets me send huge asks, i just send it like a warrior from my own blog and make sure the anon is on lmfao

Yeah I figured that would be the case, especially in the states they would have to put the label that they have "not disney friendly" as I call it and considering how tiny beans txt are still, it would be a bit ??? And bighit didn't want trouble (but WHY record it and air it in the mv then like ??? People would still like it regardless but then bighit had to make some hype like "omg bad boys" like xD) interesting, I haven't seen the kbs videos yet so that's interesting to note.
