“Really? Did he get lost?”
Someone steps out of Tony’s way. Michelle glares at him—how novel. “No,” she replies.
“Then you’ve filed a missing persons report?”
“Yes, but the police haven’t found anything.”
“Sad. Well, maybe if you give them a bit more time.”
“You and I both know the NYPD isn’t exactly known for being reliable.”
Tony laughs. “So what were you wanting to do next to find him? Is he chipped? Maybe if you offer a cash reward—”
“I’m thinking of involving someone with a little better surveillance of the city than the cops. But since they can be kind of hard to get a hold of, I knew I needed to be a little more forward than usual.”
Tony doesn’t know the last time he was interrupted.
“A superhero, then?”
Michelle speaks through gritted teeth: “That’s not what I said.”

As soon as it got dark Yamato and I ventured back to the trails. Literally turned the corner and there the little dudes were. I feel a bit like a fool not finding them sooner. It be that way sometimes. I won't tell you what I wished for- obvi won't come true otherwise! Got a nice feeling of accomplishment, and I'm excited for what comes next.

love how my brain is just On Vacation rn. i feel physically unable to spend more than an hour on german lately. im not being too hard on myself because it really was nonstop for the last 18 months, so obviously im going to want to Rest when i can, but there's something just so funny about having all this time to be productive and instead im binge watching sims lore videos on youtube
#it's so funny to revisit the sims games as an adult because im reminded of how i used to play the sims as a kid#all my sims were straight-and-narrow young women who basically only climbed their career ladders and did nothing else#no friends no dating no family one (1) hobby just the pursuit of success and wealth babey#except for that one time my sim went on holiday with another (female) sim and i made them kiss and it blew my mind
