I have written a thesis.

Because I keep questioning my own writing a lot; especially in terms of ending a short story... sometimes, it really is easier to just treat what you write like a movie or a TV show you're watching. Especially if it's a short fic that is basically just a single scene. Like... Would there be a scene change now and it'd feel complete? If yes, then it's an appropriate ending. If no, then either you write one more paragraph or let it rest for a bit, come back to it, and see how you feel. Or you find a spot a little earlier because sometimes scenes can drag on for too long and need to be cut shorter in order to be satisfying and make sense.

Today was finally the day where I've got to know if I passed my final working exam...I DID!!

I have officially decided to become a Severus Snape and Regulus Black shipper.

I don't know how it happened either...

So, I read this fic, I don't remember the name but I think it was on ao3 or fanfiction.net (if anyone finds it please repost this with it or leave the link in the comments)

So Snape is an asshole, but he is a smart one, a cunning one, the best of the best, the most powerful kid in that school. Fight me about it, I've been taking boxing lesson since I was 8.

Don't get me wrong, he's not likable and what he did is not justified, killing people and being rasist basically. What, you thought I was talking about his bullying children. Oh, you poor flower child. I don't think he was always this bad...

A child can't be evil. He learned this behaviour from his parents (rasism from his dad, sadism (headcanon: Eileen blamed Severus for her failed relationship with Tobias and that's why she doesn't stop his abuse, towards her and Severus) from his mom), his housemates (RASISTS), and his year and school mates (how to be disgusted by people who are different from you 101)

And Regulus is a genius, he outsmarted the darkest lord of their (I headcanon Regulus as he/they, again, fight me about it) time at 18. He may not be powerful, but he's observant and very empathic (this post is full of headcanons), even if their not that people-inclined. He knows how to manipulate and they knows the darkest of the arts, even if, again, he isn't inclined towards them. He's also very good at complicated magic (healing spells and wards(they can hide anything from anyone)).

Soooooo, that being said. The fic:

Snape is trying to catch Lupin as a werewolf so he digs a spot pretty close to the castle so he can make a run for it if necessary. It's kinda small.

Regulus comes and kinda fits himself into the hole, it's very cramped now and neither of them know how to cast an expending charm.

A professor guides Remus to the Shrinking Shack and Severus is trying to listed to the steps but Regulus keep talking so he covers their mouth with his hand and presses himself into Regulus so he can hear better.

Regulus kisses Snape and they make out, the oneshot ending with Snape thinking to try again next month and going somewhere more private with Regulus.

99% of the time, I think that calling adhd/autism a superpower is pretty upsetting and borderline offensive, but there are some things that I'm like "yeah, that probably saved me a lot of trauma."

like, I genuinely never understood how many people (specifically afab people) don’t feel comfortable owning something as simple as their beauty. people being touched by the scene in Barbie where she calls the woman at the bus stop beautiful, and she says “I know” and the Barbie’s saying “I deserve this” to their awards an accomplishments, is so hard for me to understand. and like, I know what they’re talking about. people have always been uncomfortable with me owning stuff like that. after thinking about it, I do understand why people would feel that way about those scenes, but it never occurred to me that other people literally just didn’t believe or feel comfortable owning those things about themselves.

like, yeah, I am really pretty, thank you for noticing. even if I didn’t think so, I’ve had enough strangers compliment me in my life that I’ve just accepted it as a fact. people like my face. I know I’m beautiful, thank you. the sky is blue, healthy grass is green, and my face has some aesthetic value to it even to strangers.

again, something as simple as my writing or drawing abilities: I struggle with not liking my own work because I know that it could be better, but I’ve also been complimented on those things enough times that I’ve just been like “well, that many people lying to protect my feelings isn’t probable, so like… I must be pretty good at this.” so when I do something and I’m proud of it and somebody compliments it, they’re uncomfortable when I say “I know.”

maybe I need help to just be a functional adult and do basic things like make phone calls, but shit, at least being insecure about stuff that I know is objectively true never occurred to me lmao

one of my proudest moment was when one of my friends said on the gc "I have had a crush on everyone of our friendgroup at least once before. expect for ari. they're, like, such a homie. a bro"
