Honestly, adding some humor into it wouldn't exactly kill the tone if you do it right. Especially if you're able to successfully pull it off as him being in character. Keeping in character while still adding the needed parts is always a slippery slope, but it'll also help you constantly improve the more you toe the line. As long as you don't dive over either side too much, that is. (I have no idea where I'm going with this, but I hope you have fun. There's no wrong way to do it, so do whatever you want. I can't wait to read it if you post it once ur done💛)
