now, sadly I couldn’t do the questions with the “[insert fic]” bits because I have, uh, a few fics and I wouldn’t know which one/s to pick. 😅 but if anyone wants to see me do those, don’t hesitate to send me an ask or even reply to this and I’ll answer them! 😊

so here y’all go! the answers to the 22 questions that I could reply to!

A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why? we’re starting off with a tough one, I see! I think I would have to say the image of you lingers because I had such a vividly picture of it in my head even before I sat down to write it, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I know it’s not my big ticket seller - in that fandom or on my profile, but I don’t care. I have a soft spot for it all the same.

B: What was the first fandom you read fic in? Which was the first you wrote fic for? to exactly no one’s surprise, I’m sure, the answer is the same fandom! Syn’s first ever fandom to read and write in was Harry Potter, back when we were all waiting for the next book to be published and before JKR decided to do her JKR thing and be Loud & Proud™ about things no one should be loud or proud about. these fics no longer exist on The Interwebs as the websites are long gone, but I do still have them on my external harddrives and I do remember them fondly.

C: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

D: What’s the most personal fanfic you’ve written? oh, you’re gonna laugh. to date, that’s probably good old Poison, and almost definitely not for the reasons you think. I was writing Poison back when I was still figuring myself out, and in a lot of ways, the fic helped me get where I am today. it’s one hell of a fucked-up piece, but it’s definitely a personal one as well.

E: What character do you identify with most? Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well? literally no one wants an honest answer to this, but I’m gonna give it anyway. out of my current fandoms, that would have to be Han Joowon from Beyond Evil. now, I don’t have any fics to prove this, nor do I think I will ever write one that will properly show it (no matter how much my muse is now trying to tempt me with another exploratory graysexual piece), but let’s just say we’re two emotional and damaged peas in a pod!

F: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with [insert fic]?

G: If you wrote a sequel to [insert fic], what would it be about?

H: How would you describe your writing style? (the things this has made me look up. 😂 me, two seconds ago, “what is writing styles, precious?”) I would probably say my style is more descriptive than narrative, but also kind of a mix of both. I think that is just what happens when you write fiction, honestly. because sometimes you want to narrate what’s going on, but sometimes it just fits better to describe it rather than narrate it, you know?

I: How many fandoms have you written in? Do you have a favorite? since my dear friend specified that they were feeling nosy, I’m going to list them all out instead of just saying the number lol. in a semi-chronological order: Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Inheritance Cycle, Marvel Cinematic Universe (unpublished), Mo Dao Zu Shi/The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System, Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven’s Official Blessing (unpublished), Guardian/Zhen Hun, Word of Honor/Faraway Wanderers, Beyond Evil (unpublished). all in all, that’s 10, which is somehow both fewer and more than I thought! now, do I have a favourite? no, I can’t say I do. I may be more into C-fandom and K-fandom right now than the Western fandoms I started off in, but I do still think about them fondly and dip back in every now and again. for instance, I do still intend on finishing my outstanding Inheritance Cycle fics. I just need to get all my muses in a row, you know? but if I had to say top three right now? probably Guardian, Beyond Evil, and Word of Honor. if you ask me another day, the answer may very well be something else entirely!

J: What’s your favorite fanfic trope? Have you written it? my absolute favourite? oh, that’s not a fair question. I love a lot of tropes! but if I had to pick...let’s say a couple? instead of just one? I’d have to say role reversal/swap, soulmates, and fix-it. and funnily enough, I have written all three! I have a role swap for Guardian, a soulmate universe I one day hope to expand to include more fandoms, and a couple of fix-its. there’s perception, which technically counts since it’s a fix-it for how Guardian ended, and obscura, which is more of a mid-season fix-it for Guardian (please beware the relationship and tags in this one).

K: Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)? I’m also a firm believer in that we shouldn’t have things such as “guilty” pleasures - let people like what they like without needing to say they feel quote-unquote “guilty” about it! - but I suppose I could say that Omegaverse fics are mine. I like writing and reading things where gender dynamics are challenged or turned on their head, and A/B/O-dynamics give you a lot of room to play and do, if you’ll excuse my french, whatever the fuck you want.

L: Which of your fanfics was the most emotionally challenging to write? there are a couple of contenders for this. one is good old Poison, because that was a tough one to write. it hurt, but not more than it healed, I think. but another one that definitely qualifies for this is perception. it was nice and easy in the beginning, back when I thought the fic was only gonna be 1k, then some people begged me not to leave it where I did, and well...a monster was born. :D and the monster kicked and screamed the entire time. but now it’s done and I will never need to write another episode 39-40 rewrite of Guardian.👍

M: What’s the weirdest AU scenario you’ve ever come up with? Did it turn into a story? oh this is a tough one. I’ve had a few “crossdressing for a case” AU ideas, which have turned into unfinished ficlets, but that’s not “weird”, is it? what television show out there hasn’t had an episode where someone has to dress up like a man or woman for “reasons”. so honestly...I’d have to say all the better to ki** you with, my dear, aka my Guardian Grimm AU. I mean, the Guardian drama is already technically an AU of the novel canon, and then I decide to throw in another show with supernatural elements and try to make it work? that’s pretty weird, right? 😅 (if you know Grimm canon at all, I think you’ll agree. if not...look it up and you probably will afterwards lol.)

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share? if by “fic ideas” you mean fics that I haven’t sat down to try and write yet? then..technically yes. the muse is begging me to write a shaving “pwp” fic for Beyond Evil and I am desperately trying to keep myself from giving in. would I love a fic like that in fandom, in general? yes! do I want to be the one writing it? NO. now, if you mean fics that I haven’t published yet? then yes, I do! since I already mentioned the image of you lingers, I might as well give a shout-out to the “companion” piece that I’m writing. the image of you lingers is the novel version of Shen Wei vs the drama version of Zhao Yunlan, so I’ve decided to do the opposite for the “companion” fic: novel!Zhao Yunlan vs drama!Shen Wei. it’s...going. slowly. very slowly. mostly because I want to slap Novel!Zhao Yunlan silly. or at least until he stops talking, good heavens. the man is incorrigible.

O: What are your thoughts on people writing fanfic of your fanfic? as @voidslantern can attest, I love it. though, does fanfic of my original fiction count? if not, then I guess I’ll have to shout-out Possessive, a fanfic set in my scienter universe (that’s MDZS serial killers, in case you’re unfamiliar). you can find the fic in my related works tab over on my AO3 profile. but I love it, I promise! all I ask for is to be told so I can go and gush over your work properly! 💕

P: Where did you find the most inspiration for your story < insert title >?

Q: Do you like getting prompts from your readers? love it! I know I don’t do a lot of those prompt lists, but that’s honestly because I’m so sporadically on tumblr that when I find one while scrolling through my dashboard, I feel like people have already moved on from it, you know? but I should try to do more, for sure! they’re always fun.

R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing? oh, this is a tough one, and probably not for the reason you think! baby Syn started writing early, and then just never stopped. so if someone has influenced my writing, I would have a hard time pinpointing who. I guess that’s what happens when you’ve been writing for 20+ years and started during your formative years, right? so I don’t think I can actually answer this question without sitting down to read everything I read when I was starting out for comparison. XD

S: How do you feel about fan art inspired by your writing? LOVE IT! I cannot underline it enough. if you want me to love you, that’s one of the surefire way to make that happen. 😍 @voidslantern can attest to this as well.

T: Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand? I don’t know about “can’t stand.” I’m a firm believer in “live and let live.” but I can say that I don’t read a lot MCD fics, especially where the character can only be “redeemed” by dying. canon has usually hurt me enough, so I don’t tend to seek out more of it in fandom. if I do write or read MCD, it’s because a muse won’t leave me alone or the tags assure me that the MCD will be reversed.

U: Is there a pairing you would like to write, but haven’t tried yet. oh, are there ever! I’m a casual or avid reader in a lot more fandoms than I could ever hope to contribute in, but I’d love to write for Kang Johan/Kim Gaon from The Devil Judge. I’m lowkey obsessed with the show, ahem.

V: Are there certain comments you’ve received on your stories that have stuck with you? I’m sure this question is meant to be a nice one, but that’s sadly not how my brain works. I’m far more likely to remember not-so-nice comments vs the opposite. I really wish it wasn’t so! but I do remember good things too. they sometimes require more effort, but rest assured, I remember the good and especially the goodest beans. they are the people that make me happy just to even see their username in my comment section, and that’s before I even get to what they’ve written. 🥰

W: What is your favorite pairing to write? Favorite pairing to read? you can’t keep asking me to pick favourites! that’s not fair! if I’m going to answer this based on my AO3 profile, there’s a clear winner. and I mean, I may not write Shen Wei much because he’s Intense AF™, and Zhao Yunlan should really learn the meaning of the word “shame”, but I really do enjoy writing Weilan. and I enjoy reading Weilan! but I could say that for all of my pairings, really! but right now, I must admit that I’m really into both writing and reading Han Joowon/Lee Dongsik from Beyond Evil, which of course does not mean that I love my other pairings any less. ❤️

X: How would you categorize your fanfic reading? Are you a voracious reader? Do you carefully pick and choose? Something in between? I’d say it depends on my mood. I know what I don’t like and tend not to read anything with that in it, but if it’s by an author I know will handle that topic well? or at least respectfully? I will definitely give it a try. and there are some days when you only want to read fluff, you know? or angst. but other days when you want to read everything you see. so I’d say I’m mostly somewhere in-between, I think.

Y: What are your thoughts on your personal satisfaction with something you’ve written vs. the popularity of your stories? Do you tend to be most satisfied with your most popular stories? strangely enough...no, I don’t think so. if anything, I might look more critically at my more popular works. but overall, I try to - for the sake of my sanity, if nothing else - to focus more on how I feel about how a story turns out vs what the stats say. I’ve been in this game for so long that I know the dangers of focusing on the stats too much. that’s the fastest way to losing the drive to write - not to mention the joy of it! I am satisfied with a story when it turns out more or less how I imagined it with my head, and someone out there happens to think it’s great? then that’s an awesome bonus! 😊

Z: Is there a story you’ve written that doesn’t seem to get much love? oh, this is a question, isn’t it? if we look away from fics that were migrated from other websites to AO3, usually years after they were first posted, and whose numbers reflect that...I do have a few fics with low numbers, yes. if that is what the question means. though considering the pairing in question (Da Qing/Ye Zun) isn’t like “super popular” in the Guardian fandom, I can’t say the fics don’t get a lot of love when I know so many DaMian fans have read them and even like them! so if I had to pick...to make it easier on myself, I’ll shout out a couple instead of just one because honestly, it’s difficult to pick which one is the one getting less “attention” compared to my other fics. (love), MDZS, Wei WuXian & Jiang Cheng, “missing” scene in the past timeline. quadruple axel, Guardian, Shen Wei & Ye Zun, a part of the Yuri on Ice AU. blood and chocolate, Guardian, Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan, a Hannibal AU.

Wow this took me ages sorry dfjfhd. Claire... u enable me too much these are my onions <3. Under a cut because I went. overboard :3. I’m probably going to have to shorten this I don’t know if tumblr will even let me post something this long dkshjfhg. (Also I wrote half of this in word so if there’s proper capitalization in places that’s why, don’t let it cloud my image as a cool, laid-back bitch that doesn’t care for grammar.)

i’m starting individually then moving onto group dynamics heh

blue i like blue but it did take a bit of growing on me djjdjhjss. i like her a lot bc i relate to her a lot, but i do think there was a lot of room for improvement. she said she wanted to see the world and make it better but how exactly.. is that a roadtrip? i mean i guess it’s a start in a way, but i think it would’ve been much better if we saw her join an activist organization.. volunteer for a non-profit or something. Also her misguided feminism ah! But I can be a bit more lenient with that bc she was still very young when the series ended so. Also she was revealed to be part tree and then like. Nothing substantial came of it? idk

Ganseyboy! I have to be honest my.. fave uwu. There is a Lot of room for improvement but I just. Optimist!! insecurities :( also he KNEW he was gonna d*e I’m. sad. Anyway like I said a lot of room for improvement as in like.. not everything is about you king <3 also he needs more… idk I don’t wanna say empathy bc i think that’s something different but like. He needs to realise that what he thinks is best isn’t gonna be the way everyone deals with something, if that makes sense? Like basically the “how do you know what’s good for me?” “THAT’S MY OPINIOOONNNNN!!” vine. THAT SAID I love him so much.. he held up the mouse to his face! And smiled!! mon dieu.. when he made bird jokes to make adam laugh… “am I in your dreams?” AH! In a way, blue and gansey are sons of the same gun: I love them both but there could be more done with them tbh. But I have a lot of fun with Fansey, a.k.a: fatima gansey. Kind of like fanon gansey except no one’s opinion matters besides mine <3 (basically it’s the *aggressively kicks off shoes* “yee haw”, parts of gansey, and then me giving him the arc he deserves) maybe we could sum it up to “ma’am that’s my emotional support projection character” but like. That’s my business.

ADAM! Previous endorsements include: “might fuck around and become an adam parrish stan account.” “I’ve only had adam for a day and a half but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.” “I go :D whenever I see it’s an adam chapter” (these are more or less verbatim from my previous posts.) that said, I don’t have many fully formed thoughts because I uhhh don’t remember the books that well and also I repress the adam chapters bc they hit too close oops :). tbh I don’t have many complaints at all heh. That’s not to say he doesn’t have flaws but a) I will excuse them because he’s justified, adam does anything problematique and I’m like he can have a little murder. As a treat. and b) I genuinely loved his arc so. No complaints for real!! Also.. adam realising he is capable of loving and being loved…. *kermit meme* I have nearly teared up while writing this. :( one more half baked thought: trc having being “known” as a mark of being loved but then adam being like “i am unknowable” and then there was a moment of him with ronan like “how foolish of him to think he was unknowable”.... *kermit hearts meme intensifies*

RONAN O CLOCK to be honest. I. don’t have any meta or complaints I just love him. I love him a LOT okay.. very much. Big love. Sharp edges tough guy but he names his dream animals chainsaw and gasoline and has a pooping blanket for chainsaw… I can’t remember the quote but that but in cdth where he was like the point is dreamer or not if people are going to get hurt I’m going to stop it… Much to think about. HIS GROWTH. IN THE DREAM THIEVES wow can you believe I read him in TRB and was like ‘I don’t care for him’ ddhfjdhf and then in the dream thieves I’m like.. I have rescinded all previous callouts of ronan lynch. Oops. HE LOVES HIS FRIENDS SO MUCH oh my gosh. Ronan just… he has so much range for feeling!! he feels so much!!! I love that about him so much omg

Henry. Ah. This is where we get kind of controversial jdhjdfh I’m sorry but. I’m going to be honest I like him well enough as a character but I don’t care for him much I’m sorry I just. It’s because he was introduced so late. And only became an important character towards like.. the last half of TRK? I mean, I’d have loved him if he was introduced earlier, hell at least have him come into play in BLLB. The issues I have with him isn’t because of anything about him as a character though, I think it’s all about the way he was handled. I think because he came in so late, there just wasn’t enough time to do justice to the depth that he had, or give him an arc or anything, or enough time to connect with him. Also a part of me feels like he was in there just to kind of tie up Blue and Gansey’s stories and give them something to do after the end of TRK (which sucks because like… making your only canon POC being primarily to develop/give your white characters storylines… (blue isn’t white in my mind but like she was written “colorblind” and when that happens it usually means the author viewed them as white at least in the beginning jhfhgfj. but i don’t remember it too well so if i’m wrong lmk please!)). But probably my biggest problem is: I couldn’t help get the vibe that MS was facing criticism for the lack of diversity and so decided to bring in an asian character. Like, I feel that way bc he came in so late, and because of that he was so half-baked I’m.. gah. GAH. That’s unfair maybe henry is a cool dude hdhfg but I just can’t warm up to him because of this :/

Group dynamics!! With the gangsey I have to *sobs* I love them so much I’m.. what a strange constellation they all were <3

blue and ronan!! BROnan amirite… omg. That moment when blue nearly slips and ronan immediately catches n holds on to her… she would have to remember that :( sons of the same gun. Best friends!

Blue and adam.. gah. As friends it really goes hard. Get you someone who will stab you if you fall too deep into the nether-realm <3 but uhh. As dates. YIKES. Blue really just. Kissed noah while dating him. And didn’t even think for a second “I have a bf” :( not very cool of her to tell gansey about the kiss curse but not telling adam which I mean, I know that happened to show that they weren’t a good match but. Still yikes. Blue was lowkey cheating on adam the whole time during tdt huh :( also bro I am number one stan of the “I wish you could be kissed jane” scene but it happened literally RIGHT AFTER she broke up with adam I’m. relax <3. I wish that was kind of addressed but meh, overall it doesn’t bother me too much. I think they’re great friends :)

Ronan and adam… I can’t talk about it too much. I really can’t!! I really really can’t! the fact that adam goes to gansey like what is love and gansey is like she makes me quiet… and then adam is like “he was so still inside”.. :( omg the bit during trb when ronan is going on a swearing tirade and adam is like “they didn’t start making the civic until ‘73 <3” what a JACKASS I love him. Second secret!! --okay! Wait I have to say: while this one is not really a big deal compared to all their other moments, my favourite quote is “ and he realised that while he’d been looking at ronan, ronan had been looking at him” :uwu face:

Blue and gansey: :3 :33333 maybe it’s the muslim but I really like the tragedy of not being able to kiss :( I would beg just one off you! Under all this! Maybe I’m crying because of the inherent romantic-ness of the night sky with all its stars and late night drives :( wow I love them. Okay I will just preface this with: gansey’s relationships with both ronan and adam have the “how do you know what’s good for me” element to them so I don’t have to address it later hdfgjlfj but bro they love each other so much I’m… “dream me the world… something new for ever night” you’re leaving for TWO DAYS.. gansey gave up monmouth omg what became of that I really forgot khffhk did he get it back. I don’t even need to elaborate on ronan, “ronan would do anything for gansey” :(

ADAM AND GANSEY I been WAITNG for this one! Turn it up! Bro if you saw the whole face I made when I realised it was time for this kdhfhfkhu this is so loaded despite the fact that I cant articulate it <3 the.. idk what to call them. Parallels? Foils? I didn’t take lit sorry but he RANGE we could have had there… remember when gansey was shocked in trk bc :0 you guys came with me and also “they had run for him”. bro their whole relationship had so much. Tension because of their different backgrounds and fundamentally different outlooks because of their backgrounds, and I think if we had seen them properly connect then both of them could have grown from that. I know we see adam understanding gansey a bit better I don’t remember when that happened but I know it did at some point hhdsf but gansey.. never does! Huff and puff. It’s really so FRUSTRATING to me bc that could have key development for gansey but also for adam and gansey’s relationship. And also I feel like we didn’t.. see them try either? Which is so frustrating like idk if it’s a fault on stiefvater’s part or just with YA lit in general that platonic relationships are kind of ignored. Or maybe it’s because idk I remember ms saying she had a lot of issues while writing trk.. but still. We could have really had it all but instead I have to live with “don’t break him adam” I’m (: ok but now I must lighten the mood hjsdhf so might I add: when one of them sees the principal in his crazy funky junky hat and goes “yee haw”… when gansey is like :DDD hey ADAM guess WHAT and adam is like ? and gansey is like oh it was a fully casual problem with the ALTERNATOR of my car of COURSE it was the alternator, it was really simple and I fixed it with much ease :D and adam is like :’D felt like the had hatched a baby bird.. my uwus. ADAM! give me an idea! ALSO if anyone will allow me to venture into adansey territory…. the fact that adam is cabeswater’s magician and gansey now.. is cabeswater in a way. MUCH to think about. I still spend a lot of time thinking about the dryad au the problem is I have never been to progress past the “vague concept” stage of stories and this is why I don’t write dhfjhfdhf. But yes. I think about it often :3

i also like the henry with the gang, i think it could work really well but once again it wasn’t given the time for me to really see it :( also. ronan being racist. and adam laughing along with that. why was that included, ms turn on your location i just wanna talk

Hey, do you remember Mangakamen? Well, apparently he's making a THIRD RWBY video about how the current volume is bad and seems fully on the "Ironwood good, team RWBY bad" bandwagon. So, that's gonna be fun /s.

Really? He’s really doing this? After his GAIM video where the fact that he had to discuss both GAIM and RWBY ruined his video on both ends (he couldn’t flesh out his issues with RWBY or properly inform his audience about GAIM so the video just didn’t work) he’s doing this again?

*sigh* I should know better than from someone who upholds FMF...

Let's talk about this. And if I see anyone harassing him, I’m deleting my account.

So I just watched the latest chapter of RWBY, I'll have to add a little caveat to my video that I'm working on, but it's both good and bad. Like, I legitimately like Ironwood now, but there's a cost, it made me hate Team RWBY even more.

Like, I know people are gonna say "they're getting consequences for their actions", yeah, and I'll agree to that... But logically speaking, and considering the themes of the past few volumes, it was a situation that shouldn't have happened

The last volumes made it a point that hiding the truth or betraying trust, regardless of the consequences, should be told to your allies - and it's immediately spat on, and Team RWBY is acting like they have a right to dictate or judge Ironwood for his decisions

Lying to him, betraying his confidence - And still acting like he's in the wrong for his decision? As a wise man once said...

I mean, Salem's a pretty bad villain in my book, but in the context of the show, Ironwood doesn't really have a choice at this point.

Okay so first problem, as always in this situation-

This assume Team RWBY is suppose to be right. Like, if you want to reinforce a theme you really SHOULD show both extremes. By putting Team RWBY in the same extreme as Ozpin, it kind of forces them to see what he was feeling and what he was thinking. If your opinion is solely based on that feeling well...then why should I care?

Also: what is MangaKamen calling out? If it is him lying about Amity then he has a point but if it’s about ditching Mantle then team RWBY has every reason to angry since it has nothing to do with them lying. To say that they can’t be upset with Ironwood abandoning his people after preaching about being civil servants is like saying you can’t blame Yang for her arm being severed: both are on the grounds that other people caused it but it ignores the person’s own agency.

Also, that stupid ‘needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.’

I’ll answer his meme with another quote:

Ironwood acts without informing the people, abandoning their families on their behalf and trying to save them without asking for them. While I feel nothing but sympathy for him (to the point I tear up when I discuss this topic) and I too think Team RWBY should have known better and am bitter about that: that doesn’t mean Ironwood is right. He’ll leave innocents to die for a plan he has not had the time to properly think through and neither side tried to compromise. They’re both wrong.

Considering what happened last time with you talking about RWBY, which went up to saying ‘Jaune is a self insert of Miles Luna!’, I don’t have any particular faith in you. Yes you are entitled to your opinion but you’ve judged people’s opinions based on facts before. I expect you to do the same for yourself.

For The (Not)Watch: Episode 7.2

Exposition Theatre Presents...

Apologies for the lateness of this recap, I assume many of these topics have already been covered elsewhere, but I have things to say nonetheless!!! The episode was far from the worst, though far from the best. Inoffensive for the most part and even included some rather nice moments (if you ignore the broader context... so, you know, the usual). Let’s start at the beginning...

It was a dark and stormy night. Tyrion was regaling the Dragon Queen about the circumstances of her own birth, which was a treacherous omen of things to come. Dany and Varys then decide to have a conversation that should have happened before he had even stepped aboard her ferry to Dragonstone. She confronts him about plotting to assassinate her back in Season 1 and he’s just like “whaddayagonnado?” and she makes him swear that he’ll actually tell her she sucks before actually betraying her. I’m sure that’ll work out swell. Varys assures her...

And Tyrion vouches for Varys because he’s “an excellent judge of character.”

Then Grey Worm has some kinda psychic episode and suddenly jumps in to tell Dany that Melisandre is in da house to say welcome to the neighborhood. Dany is cool with her being there because apparently the red priests helped bring “peace” to Meereen (really? when did that happen?) and Mel starts speaking to Dany in High Valyrian.

**We interrupt this program to bring you a prophecy that should have been mentioned 7 seasons ago. Had D&D realized this was actually an important plot point, they would have seeded it earlier. We now return to your regularly scheduling programming.**

Dany’s bummed that she’s not the Prince That Was Promised because she’s not a “prince”, then Missandei interrupts to tell Dany, WHOSE FIRST LANGUAGE IS HIGH VALYRIAN, that her interpretation of the prophecy is wrong -- the PTWP is totes gender-neutral, y’all! Mel won’t confirm or deny if Dany is the PTWP because even she is apparently skeptical of her own bullshit; instead she just tells Dany that she NEEDS to hook up with this cat Jon Snow, who “defeated” the Boltons and became “King in the North”. Dany’s like...

So is Tyrion, tbh. He jumps in and vouches for Jon too (remember, Excellent Judge of Character!) and because Dany has no opinions or thoughts of her own and can’t even properly translate her own mother tongue, she’s like okay cool, send a raven to Jon (where did they get ravens?).

Well, it must have been a FedEx Express Overnight™ raven cuz we cut immediately to Winterfell where Jon is already reading Tyrion’s letter. Sandra questions whether or not it’s really Tyrion but Jon says it’s legit because he included a Book Quote from the first season. And even though Jon got to know Tyrion pretty well on their journey to the Wall, he decides to be Condescending Ally and asks Sandra her opinion. Sandra then fulfills her “Tyrion’s such a nice guy!” quota for the season before Davos strolls up to finally deliver some dialogue. He has a “eureka” moment when he realizes that dragons can kill white walkers. Jon asks if he thinks he should meet with Dany as she Tyrion requested, and Davos says no, it’s too dangerous, but they should keep that shit in their back pocket for future consideration...

Then we hop to King’s Landing... Side Note: not only do all the main female characters dress alike this season, they all sound alike too. Seriously, watch these first three scenes with your eyes closed -- they all sound exactly the same!

Anyway, Cersei is in the throne room addressed Randyll “What Sword?” Tarly and some leftover Tyrells to try and convince him to join her cause against Dany, and Randyll doesn’t seem at all bothered by being ordered around by a woman. (So, I guess it’s cool for Arya and Brienne to be retconned as misogynists, but actual canon misogynists like Randyll Tarly are suddenly super cooperative and tolerant? Okay.) Cersei then starts throwing mad shade at Dany and her dad: “You remember the Mad King and the horrors he inflicted on his people...” <-- says the woman who literally did the thing that Jaime KILLED Aerys for only THREATENING to do. At this point, I began to wonder if it was actually common knowledge that Cersei blew up the sept; I guess there’s some plausible deniability, but Cersei herself doesn’t exactly seem like she has anything to hide in that regard...

After the meeting breaks up, Jaime takes Randyll aside and introduces himself to Dickon, who seems to be played by a new actor now. (BTW, how many times do you think D&D giggled like 10-year-olds at the name “Dick-On”?) Jaime questions why they even came, and Randyll says, “If my queen summons me, I answer the call. And I’ve heard what she does to those who defy her.” Which answers my question above -- he DOES know about the sept. Yet, just like kinslaying and Guest Right, terrorism is just NBD anymore. Randyll then waffles in his allegiance to Cersei and Olenna Tyrell, and I’m just.... Please. If Olenna, who is not even a Tyrell by blood, was really the only Tyrell left, do you REALLY think Randyll wouldn’t bounce at the first opportunity?? Then Jaime makes Randyll an offer he can’t refuse (Warden of the South) because the King’s Landing plot is basically The Godfather now.

Down at the Citadel, Archmaester Slughorn has a terminal prognosis for Jorah and he suggests that he just fall on his sword and get it over with. Jorah, I assume, is too busy wondering how he’s gonna make sweet love to Khaaleeesiiii with a stone wang...

Then we jump back to KL where Qyburn and Cersei are taking a little stroll through the dungeons where the dragon skulls are. Cersei says that Robert would come down there sometimes to look at them, or to band random whores, which seems extremely unlikely since Robert had an aneurysm every time the Targaryens were even mentioned. Cersei questions how they’re actually gonna be able to defeat Dany’s dragons, and Arnold Qyburnegger insists that “If it bleeds, we can kill it.” He then reveals his TOP SECRET MASTER PLAN!!! A really big crossbow. Somewhere Daryl Dixon just got the most massive boner...

Then we’re back on Dragonstone where Yara and Ellaria are yelling at Dany to just attack Dragonstone now while they have the opportunity and the forces. Tyrion’s all, “I got this, babe” and proceeds to lay out Dany’s plan for Dany (is it even Dany’s plan?), because why should the supposed leader and aspiring Queen be the one to give her troops their marching orders herself? The few lines she did have were just direct quotes from Tyrion. Anyway, Dany Tyrion tells Yara to escort Ellaria back to Dorne for some reason I don’t remember and I couldn’t help but wonder why they didn’t think of this before dragging Ellaria and Olenna all the way to Dragonstone just to send them back south again. BTW, D&D thought this scene was super Feminist because 4 women were in one scene together. I’m not making that up...

Then Dany and Olenna have a one-on-one in which Olenna delivers the first meme of Season 7: “You’re a dragon! Be a dragon!” T-shirts are now available in the HBO store. (Yes, I’m serious.)

We then take a break from “Game of Thrones” to bring you a very special episode of “As the Grey Worm Turns”. So, blah blah blah, Missandei visits Grey Worm in his quarters, whines about him leaving, he calls her his “weakness”, kisses her, she immediately disrobes -- seriously, that shit came off QUICK like

...and then he goes down on her. SIGH okay look... Yes, it was a lovely scene in and of itself, and I know this was D&D’s attempt at something “sweet” for a change, and YES it was the first CONSENSUAL sex scene we’ve gotten since, what, Season 3? But here’s the problem... First of all, there are so many other actual CANON romances in ASOIAF that have gone completely or virtually unexplored on this show, so for them to just invent this “romance” between a eunuch and a character who is actually supposed to 10 just feels utterly inane. Let’s be honest, guys, this scene happened for 2 reasons: (A) they wanted to see Nathalie Emmanuel naked again, and (B) penises are for sexual assault and comic relief ONLY on this show.

So, back at the Citadel, Slughorn is droning on about one thing or another when Sam says he found a couple of recorded cases of greyscale being cured, but Sluggy says don’t believe the hype because the procedure is too dangerous and risky and was outlawed. But... you guys... greyscale is like Westerosi AIDS, so even if the procedure is “risky”, don’t you think it’s worth maybe EXPLORING at the very least??? Anyway, I’m sure you can already guess what’s gonna happen next...

Yes, Sam sneaks into Jorah’s quarters with an assortment of paraphernalia, and the same dude who spent a solid 5 minutes last episode dry-heaving over some turds has suddenly decided he’s now Doogie Howser. He offers Jorah some rum to drink to dull the pain, since apparently milk of the poppy was outlawed while we weren’t looking, and it turns out that the cure for greyscale is to just scrape it off like an old paint job. Huh.

BTW, what the hell is with this new obsession with juxtaposing bodily fluids with food all of a sudden?? New fetish?? Anyway, that pie looked AMAZING. We’re not at what I assume is the Inn at the Crossroads where Arya is chilling waiting for her meal, special delivered by Iron Chef Hot Pie! She begins to eat and drink like a pig in the manner of her soulmate The Hound and makes a joke about baking one or two pies (BECAUSE SHE’S THE MARIE CALLENDER OF MURDER PIES GET IT); there’s also another brief reference to Briennebowl (sigh). Turns out, even fucking Hot Pie knows about Cersei blowing up the sept, ffs. He also knows something else that, for some reason, Arya doesn’t -- that the Starks took back Winterfell from the Boltons. Arya is SHOOK and frankly so am I because she spent 2 whole weeks at the Twins and NO ONE mentioned this?? Even the Lannister soldiers from last episode never brought it up?? Anyway, Arya’s like “oh shit I gotta go” and Hot Pie tells her that he prefers her as a girl because she’s “pretty” and OH how I wish she would have gotten more of a reaction from that, but then again this is GoT where only “idiot” girls would respond to being called pretty... When she leaves the inn, she hangs a louie north instead of south, having decided to keep her murdering more local.

This actually wasn’t that bad a scene, to be honest. I liked how Arya looked genuinely detached as she casually made references to murders she committed or would be committing... and then how she completely snaps out of it when she hears that Jon is in Winterfell. I think the success of this scene rests solely on Maisie’s shoulders though.

Speaking of WF, we then cut to Jon who is doing the thing where the scene opens on someone just staring blankly at a map. Maester Whatshisnameagain comes in to deliver Sam’s raven, cuz the Citadel is cheap as fuck and only uses UPS Ground. We then IMMEDIATELY jump to another council meeting where Jon announces Sam’s “news” that Dragonstone is lousy with dragonglass, and that this info has confirmed his decision to answer Dany’s Tyrion’s summons after all. And because Jon can NEVER seem to clue Sandra in on his plans BEFORE meetings, he blindsides her once again, prompting her to ONCE AGAIN speak up in defiance. Yes, it’s all just lame, manufactured, forced tension on D&D’s part, and what makes it even more infuriating is that it frames Sandra as a brat Every. Time. Though, in this case, everyone else in the room seems to agree with her, including Feminist Icon™ Lyanna Mormont -- Jon is their King and should NOT abandon them when winter is upon them. Jon’s like, “Hey YOU guys are the ones who wanted me to be KiTN, I never asked for it!” Which is a super cool thing to say in front of the rightful heir whose claim you stole. But hey, all is forgiven I guess when Jon oh-so generously declares that he’s leaving WF in Sansa’s hands while he’s gone. Hey, I kidnapped your child, would you mind babysitting for me for a bit? So, basically Jon abandons the North like he did the Night’s Watch, and aren’t we so glad that Sansa’s claim was completely ignored in favor of this super reliable dipshit?

Before he leaves, Jon ducks down into the crypts to meditate in front of Ned’s effigy when Littlefucker rolls up on him like a creep and Jon’s just OVER IT before it’s even begun...

LF then declares that he “loves” Sandra (cue every puking gif ever), and Jon immediately knocks his gross ass into the wall and tells him he’ll kill him if he ever touches his sister. Frankly, LF seemed kinda into it... ;-P

Jon then leaves and mounts his horse, waving goodbye to Sandra from her permanent perch on the walkway, and she’s all

Out in the woods, Arya’s building a fire when she notices her horse acting freaked out. She suddenly finds herself surrounded by VERY BAD BOYS snarling and growling at her when a huge figure comes up behind her and then...

Yeah, I admit it, I straight up cried seeing Arya and Nymeria together again. Of course, this is GoT, though, and we can’t have nice things, so it was shortlived. Yes, in the grand tradition of D&D reintroducing forgotten characters just to kill off/get rid of them again, I present: NYMERIA. So I went from tears to rage in less than a minute. These fucking assholes are more concerned about $$$$ than the VERY CRUCIAL FACT that the Stark kids are bonded to their wolves FOR LIFE and are GODDAMN WARGS, period. I hate them so much.

The next scene was filmed through a dirty coffee filter and I couldn’t see a damn thing, but horrible accents + cattiness = must be the Sand Snakes! Oh joy! I dunno what those fucking accents were; they sounded like fucking Apollonia when she first learned English, and I wanted to kill myself. Things just got worse from there when we jumped to another part of the ship (oh yeah, we’re on a ship btw) where Ellaria and Yara are cozying up to each other in front of Theon and begin to taunt him by feeling each other up and MAN I can’t wait for these bitches to die. The gropefest is mercifully interrupted then by the ship getting rammed, and they all run outside to see Euron’s sails in the firelight. Euron Both-Hands himself then makes one helluva entrance before getting down to some good ol’ murderin’. It’s a complete clusterfuck that’s not very well lit but I could see enough to know that he killed Obara and Nym...

PRO TIP: If you’re trying to establish the next big villain on your show, don’t have him kill off 2 of the most universally despised characters.

Not surprisingly, they spare Ellaria and Tyene “Bad Pussy” Sand (AKA the one Sand Snake most willing to take her top off), meanwhile Euron and Yara face off against one another. I’ve seen plenty of people criticizing Theon for this, and I think it’s utter bullshit. Like, I honestly believe that scene was intended to show us that Theon was still highly traumatized and triggered in that moment, much like Sandor during the Blackwater. I do not think that we, as viewers, were meant to look at that and come away thinking that Theon was being shitty or a coward. BUT HERE’S THE THING: you cannot spend 6 seasons conditioning your audience to believe that experiencing genuine trauma is a “weakness” or “foolish” and then expect everyone to be all cool and understanding when you suddenly decide to go for “realism”. Especially when last season featured a scene in which Yara told Theon to either get over it or just kill himself and it was framed as LEGITIMATELY GOOD ADVICE (which D&D even confirmed as such)!! So yeah, a retcon in which Theon’s trauma is addressed in a very logical and meaningful way is obviously going to receive backlash. This is the same show where Sansa had to be raped in order to be “strong”, so clearly a male character who’s experienced similar trauma should just “get over it” too, right? THAT is the lesson GoT is teaching its viewers, so it stands to reason that they would revolt when a character has a genuine PTSD episode. Not to mention the fact that Yara totally did not deserve Theon’s help or protection after the way she had treated him. Not to mention how SHE left HIM behind with Ramsay!! And later blamed HIM for it! Shit, I would leave her ass too. So, yeah, this scene was, I believe, intended to show that, no, Theon is NOT over it, because yelling at someone to just stop being sad about their trauma is not a magical cure. But it’s too late for this show to try and be sensitive about these sorts of things, because your viewers have been programmed NOT to accept it. So the one time D&D&Co choose to be authentic, it falls on deaf ears. No surprise there.

Quite a note to end on, for sure. Next week looks to be more of the same, so I’m stocking up on Red Bull now...

“Quit flaunting your heterosexuality"

A classmate stepped on an empty timbits box during vocal jazz and stared at it in disappointment for five minutes straight, which caused me (notorious for my laughter) to, well, start laughing.

The teacher, five seconds later: “Okay. You’re fired from being a responsible senior member of choir.”

The next year: "And this is why you fired me from being a responsible member of choir.” “Wait, I did? No way.” “Yeah, it’s true. I remember that too.”

Bi-sectional: A term for someone who sings in two different sections. Not to be confused with Pan-sectional, someone who switches between almost all sections freely

The full year that mostly consisted of us yelling “TERRIBLE!” at the most minor of mistakes and “NOT TERRIBLE” when things didn’t go badly

Was replaced by “*insert name here* MADE A MISTAKE” yelled at the most minor of things at the next year

Hiiii, Love!!!! I’m so sorry it took me so long to answer! but yesterday I was busy, and when I came home my head hurt like a b*tch, 😖😖. Liam’s eyes very pretty, aren’t they? Well, you just described me. Talking in public always end up in one of those two options. I have always wanted to do a road trip!!! You are totally invited of course. JAJAJAJA. Well, it just…happened? Our friend was having a very bad time and he was going through a lot of things and we didnt know how to cheer him up. And then one night we just starting watching a video of AuronPlay reading a fic, and he was happy for the first time in months. (3)And so my cousin said “what if we write him a fic?” And i said “omg, yes”. And thus was born. Its a crack fic. We just put in there his family, his biggest celebrity crush, our friends, ourselves and a couple of animals and started writing nonesense. He hasnt read anything yet, bcs we want to finish it first, and me and my cousin (and our siblings, bcs they wanted to help) only hang out alone sporadically. But we laugh a lot writing it. I hope he laughs too when he finally reads it. (4)

Tbh I never payed attention to that, :/ (heteronormative mind and all that). If I had, maybe I had known about a lot of my high school friends’ sexuality. Looking back, we were just a group of friends, boys a girls, nobody cared about boyfriends/girlfriends (we were friends from 12-16). Then we went our separate ways, and we lost touch. And now I see in Facebook that they are gays and lesbians, and I’m like… :/ we didn’t know much about those things back then. And I hope I didn’t make any comments who could offend/affect them. But it makes me so happy to see them being themselves and living with they’re boyfriends and girlfriends… 😊 I just wish I could have been a better friend back then 🤷🏻‍♀️. But now I pay attention to that. And I always try to show support in a non invasive way. And try to educate people about who they’re been homophobic, or make not appropriate comments… like there’s this boy (around 16) that likes to paint his nails. And I love everything to do with nails. And, at the shop, I comment on people’s nails (if I know them enough, lol). And I always try to say something nice to this guy. To normalize the fact that he has his nails painted (and no make a statement that I approve of it, if someone else is listening, so they don’t make rude comments around me). And then my friend’s sister is Lesbian. But their mother is so ancient-minded… like, my friend has a dit of fat, and she’s always making comment about how she should be skinnier bc she won’t ever find a husband 😒. And her sister is very thin. And once, she was working as cleaner in a /cuartel de la guardia civil(?)/. And their mother was always: hmmm, I hope she finds a good guy there, bc she’s never had a boyfriend. And I always thought: I wonder why, lol. Well, she finally came out to her parents, and while they don’t treat her different (which I don’t know if it’s good or no), they’re like “waiting” she changes her mind. And hoping she finds a boyfriend. Anyway, her mother is friends with my mom, and she comes to visit at the shop sometimes, and she always has a comment to make about what people do or don’t do. And I get so angry 😡. I’m always correcting her. But she doesn’t listen. And I feel sorry for my friend and her sister. So whenever I have the chance I saw her my support, and always talk about these things, lol. (I talk so much about lgbt+ things, that my family associates me with it, to the point that every time they see a rainbow or whatever they tell me: look look! And I just satisfied with it. At least they don’t make so much homophobic comments anymore 😒)

Well, she isn’t a nasty anti, jajajja, but she doesn’t think they’re together. Not for nothing special, just that she thinks they would say it if they were together. And since they haven’t say it, they aren’t together. But I’ve shown her the famous Christmas pic, and she doesn’t Thing B was ever pregnant. And I show her pics of F to ask for an outsider opinion, and she doesn’t think the kid looks like Louis at all, lmao. So, I think if they ever come out, she wouldn’t care at all. Bahhh, I’ve talked about RBB/SBB with my friend sometimes, but it’s so bad of a thing, that we don’t come to a conclusion. She isn’t a fans, sadly. But she likes celeb gossip, and I like to talk, so… yesterday she came to visit/ to get her arms waxed (bc that’s my other unofficial job) and she ended up staying for 2 hours. Bc we had see each other briefly lately, couldn’t sit and talk properly in a while. And she always asks me about 1d, bc she knows I love to talk about it,jajaja. And I have a sideblog where I reblog things to show her. And well, yesterday we talked a little about BG, and I showed her the no-belly pic, and she was… 😳. And she thinks louis and Harry must be together, at least at some point, bc the way the touched wasn’t in a friendly way. She now has a boyfriend, and she kept saying: I’m not a very touchy person with my friends or my family, but when I’m with him I always want to touch him or kiss him, and that’s what those two were always doing. And I’m always: do you think that for real, or are you just saying it so I stop talking?? Jajjaja. And yes, she’s convinced they are/were together. She asked me if I think they’re still together, and I told her that now more than ever, but it’s a long story, so we should talk about it another time, bc lol, we were just talking about it for a couple of hours, and we both had things to do. So, we’ll keep talking another time.

Of course, I dont share that info with everybody, but I dont mind my friends knowing. I have this one friend that i bother everytime i get frustated bcs of a fic. I tell him the plot, and what is happening and i cry about it (and he laughs at me but at least he listens). Sometimes i make him choose which one should i read next when i cant decide. (9)

I listened today Room for 2 and Homesick, and I think I like them. I’ll have to listen this new one two. For me, to like a song, I have to heard /a lot/ (not as much as Despacito, please). It has to have a catchy tune. That’s why I think a like Carolina, or Woman, or Kiwi, and I don’t understand why people is so fidyfvbure about the lyrics, jajjaja.Honey is always sleeping on me. A Reflection of My Time in Taipei

My journey abroad has finally come to a close. I can safely say that this has been one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Phoenix is a rural, suburban desert and I had never ventured far outside of Ahwatukee. Most of my international vacations were maybe a couple days at most. To have an opportunity like experiencing a completely foreign place for weeks was surreal.

This program gave me so many opportunities that I wouldn't have gotten the chance to experience. Shortly after meeting the Secretary-General, I was able to sit down with the Department of Education of Taipei with all the ambassadors and we all discussed the educational systems in each country. To have that kind of influence and exchange of ideas is one of the reasons I really admire this exchange program. Forming those personal relationships with other international teens and making changes on a scale much bigger than us is so incredible.

I’ve got to be honest: it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows (especially in the rainy city haha). Spending every moment with the same people can be hard, especially when I was having some trouble bonding with my counterpart in the beginning. Combined with the completely new diet, the tiredness from jet lag, and the constant whirlwind of activities every day, I felt a lot of regret at the start. YAEP ambassadors were trained on how to cope with homesickness after you slowly noticed the stresses of a new environment, but I didn’t know what to do when I felt so miserable from the beginning. It didn’t have a lot to do with the people around me as much as it was me trying to come to terms with my situation.

I wish I could say there was a certain point where it all went away and I suddenly loved it. The truth is that it ebbed away slowly as I started to get comfortable with all of my cohort. I felt it in some of the last moments of the trip. But even if it never fully went away, there came a point where I enjoyed myself with the people around me more than I felt homesick and that’s when I started to have fun.

I saw so many amazing parts of culture and history and experienced an environment so unlike my home that I couldn’t help but be in awe every single day. I remember one particular day when Jim had to be at school so I spent the morning with my host mother instead. She doesn’t really know English but I started communicating with her through translation apps. It was slow going, but we had an entire conversation about religion and the facets of Buddhism. I talked about how I grew up Catholic but I’m not very strictly religious nowadays. We learned that we share a common outlook on life: being kind and spreading kindness to everyone. It was one of my favorite memories of the trip and I can’t express how much I appreciate my host mom and everything she did for me despite going through some difficulties herself.

More than the impressive buildings, the beautiful landscape, and the thriving city life, it was the simple things that I remember and cherish: watching movies together, laughing in the hotel rooms, singing on the bus, and talking and getting to know each person as a new friend.

This brings me to the Number One reason why I genuinely loved this program and the reason why any situation can be better: the people. Each and every person that I met has had such a profound effect on me and I’m so grateful I was able to get to know every single one.

Joyce and Bartosz

Joyce (left) is from Taipei and she actually goes to the same school as Shari! Bartosz is on the right and he’s from Warsaw, Poland. He’s only 13 years old, the youngest out of all of us. Bartosz is very special in his own way. He is extremely well-versed in memes, even some that no one knew. It was interesting to interact with him, but I’ll still miss his strange sense of humor haha. Joyce is such a sweetheart. She is so incredibly caring (she went to the hospital with Dustin to help him out) and giving. Maybe a little too giving, I’m always trying to tell her to take care of herself first! But I appreciate nonetheless, her heart is so special <3

Ruth and Felicia

Ruth (top) is from Taipei and Felicia (bottom) is from Riga, Latvia. Ruth is so fun to be around. Her English wasn’t the strongest so communication was a little bit slower, but that didn’t stop us from having really fun conversations. I also gave her some English lessons which also included an analysis of the strength of English swear words LOL. Felicia is very nice and also really fun to talk to. I had never even heard of Latvia before I met her so learning some of the cultural differences and even a bit Latvian was really interesting. We also shared a certain giggliness that came out around 3 am on our last night in the hotel.

Dustin and Toni

Dustin (bottom left) is the Taipei ambassador and Toni (top left) is the second ambassador from Warsaw. These two were inseparable. They had the cutest friendship and I was so glad I was able to have a relationship with each of them. As you can maybe tell, they are freakishly tall and, surprisingly, Toni is only 14! Dustin is so funny and has a way of elevating the mood of the whole group. Even when he cut his whole hand open, the only thing he was worried about was how it was going to affect the rest of the group’s plans. He also never stops talking. Going into shock and limping 4 kilometers he still managed to talk the entire time lol. Toni, even if he is like a foot taller than me, is sooo cute. My mom-friend might’ve come out because I swear I kept pinching his cheeks. I love him so much (even if he didn’t let us paint his nails like we did to Dustin haha). I know I can trust him to show me around Poland if I ever visit!

The Taipei Ambassadors

You probably already know them but this is Albert, Shari, and Jim (left to right in the main picture).

Albert is one of my favorite people to talk to. His aspirations for the future and motivations in life are so admirable and seeing someone with so much passion was amazing. His music taste is on point and I’ll definitely miss him singing to himself all the time. One thing though, this boy cannot smile for a camera for the life of him. We all tried for weeks to no avail.

Shari is the cutest human to walk this earth. She’s one of the four Taiwan Gals, an iconic squad constantly trying to put up with Albert and Jim. She endures all my constant hugs and loves to take pictures. This girl can and will sleep anywhere. I’ve seen her asleep on the MRT, standing up, sitting at breakfast, and in the car leaning sideways at the strangest angle that I swear I thought she was gonna break her neck.

Jim, my counterpart, was so funny in his own special Jim-way. He’s our group’s personal crackhead (purely metaphorically) with endless energy no matter what the situation. But don’t let that fool you, he’s also crazy smart. He also has a habit of switching to Mandarin in the middle of a conversation to talk to the other Taipei ambassadors. So, of course, we think he’s keeping secrets, but really he’s literally just asking where’s the hairdryer or something LOL.

Jenna and Talia

My fellow Taipei-Phoenix ambassadors. They’ve been with me from the beginning, from figuring out the airport process to a reliable source to quote vine references to. There was something comforting about having someone that is experiencing the same cultural changes as you. We talked about the differences between the two countries and expressed our concerns about the issues we might have been having. Having a confidante really keeps you sane when you're in such a new environment. More than that, I grew extremely close to them and I was glad to have made a couple of new friends :)

Each one holds a special place in my heart. I can’t begin to properly express in words how much all of them mean to me.❤️
