sorry to keep milgramposting but i think if we are speculating that kazui's arc is about being gay in a comphet marriage we should also be taking a closer look at mahiru's arc through that lens 🤨🏳️‍🌈 imo.

this is so stupid but i always have fun imagining the milgram characters watching their own/others mvs and seeing their reactions, especially for MeMe
That’s not stupid at all, thank you so much for the ask!! It’s sooo interesting to think about! I planned on just posting this drabble, but the more I thought about it, the more I started jotting down headcanons for everyone 👀 Of course there’s the initial disbelief and shock that Milgram can really do what it claims, but once they accept that, they’d have a lot of interesting reactions…
Es gets to watch the video first, then the prisoners are free to watch their own in the privacy of the courtroom/extraction room/wherever. Other prisoners can watch them only with explicit permission from the video’s singer. No one is allowed to watch Undercover except for Es. At first they spend hours looking at those final frames of themself flinching from the camera, hoping to jog any sort of memories, but eventually they give up on it. While actually watching it, they don’t mind the murder silhouettes. While sleeping, however, it has triggered more than one nightmare.
Haruka: He thinks Weakness is very pretty – he’s amazed seeing himself on the screen and hearing his voice, knowing he’s not that good of a singer. Even before his innocent verdict, it gives him a huge surge of confidence. Once he gets to know the others better, he gives them mv permissions, then stares intently at their faces to see their reactions as they watch it. AKAA scares him a bit, seeing his own intense emotions on screen, and he only gives Muu permission to see it. When he’s alone, Haruka pauses the shots of his mother, just to stare for a while.
Yuno: Laughs at the symbolism her mind used in Umbilical. She’s never shied away from sexual words/thoughts, so it's funny the video was as tame as it was. She thinks the song is fun, and isn’t afraid to show the others and sing snippets of it around the prison. Some days it’s too emotional for her to get into it, but most of the time she tries to display a confident attitude about it. After Tear Drop, she’s satisfied with her anger and more overtly sexual images. If anything, she feels too exposed by the shots of herself looking more vulnerable/sad.
Fuuta: He experiences a solid mix of embarrassment at the gaming theme in Bring it On and feeling a surge of pride that he looks badass in the knight’s armor. He’s worried the warden won’t take him seriously with the video game obsession, but he absolutely loves the song and thinks it portrays his toughness and ideals well. He’s less thrilled with Backdraft, everything about it unsettles and embarasses him. He’s thrown by the shot of crossing out his own silhouette – he’d had self-harming thoughts, but wasn’t quite ready to confront them so blatantly yet. Like Haruka, he can be caught pausing the arcade shot just for a moment before turning the whole thing off and storming away.
Muu: She has mixed emotions towards After Pain. She hates seeing herself look so weak and pathetic, but it gives her a lot of hope that her story will be understood. She misses her friends, and seeing them again is bittersweet. She closes her eyes at the moment of the stabbing – she’s only gotten the courage to watch it through her fingers once. She watches INMF once, then refuses to look at it again from shame/horror. Despite Haruka’s begging, she doesn’t let him watch it, either.
Shidou: He asks Es what they saw in Throw Down. Upon finding out his family wasn’t in it, he chooses not to watch it. He believes he already knows all about his emotions and crime, so there’s no need to go through that pain again. He’s tempted to watch it when he’s confused about Es’ verdict, but still holds off. He does watch Triage when informed his family is in it. He spends hours in front of the screen by himself. Only after seeing that one does he watch Throw Down, though he’s still left confused about Es’ decisions.
Mahiru: Absolutely loves TIHTBILWY. She thinks it perfectly describes her situation, and that the song is very cute. She lets others watch it, and unlike Yuno, feels like singing it 24/7. It reminds her of her bf, and she thinks that’s very romantic. Similar to Shidou, she spends a lot of time watching I Love You just to look at her boyfriend. She shows it to everyone, just to show him off and talk about him, even if she does skip over the beginning and end each time.
Kazui: He is very similar to Shidou; he refuses to watch his videos until T2, assuming it would be too painful to watch something he already knows and wishes to avoid. Unlike Shidou, seeing Hinako is far too painful, and he regrets watching it and seeing her so happy on their wedding day. Though maybe he’s still waiting, and hasn’t seen any of the videos yet…
Amane: Magic makes her worry more than anything. She fears she’s poisoned by unnecessary vainness since so much of her video involves cute things, colors, outfits, animals, and is set up like a tv show. She’s also worried that Es and the others will really see her as a child because of how cute the whole thing is. She prevents herself from watching it too many times, but buried under all her fears, it gives her a surge of pride seeing herself so talented and pretty and the star of the show. Purge March only reaffirms her confidence in her crime – the video brings up some awful memories, but it shows her as a leader, a warrior, a hero! It brings her comfort and confidence more than anything.
Mikoto/John: The videos are distressing to both of them, and they spend all their time studying the others’ screentime. Mikoto watches in horror as John does things that line up with his spotty memories, and John panics seeing that his actions distress Mikoto more than they’ve reassured/saved him. John does end up watching his own scenes a few times – it feels incredibly good to appear in a way that Mikoto may finally notice him. He feels seen. Now, logically I think that MeMe would be the final tipping point in which Mikoto finally accepts the situation and his DID, but if I must stick to his canon denial, then I’d say he goes on a whole rant about movie magic andt the crazy things you can do with editing nowadays. He doesn’t have a good explanation on how Milgram found his home and knew so much about him, but he explains everything away as cgi or camera effects. Double manages to sway him a bit more, as he hears John speak so plainly to him. Just as the audience had some debate on who was apologizing at the end of Double, Mikoto and John wonder who is apologizing to whom. Though they both come to the conclusion it’s their own apology, they decide that if it was the others’, they’d accept it and forgive them.
Kotoko: She’s very pleased with Harrow, and is unashamed to show it to the others. Though she’d been able to watch a few of the previous prisoners’ videos, it still shakes her a bit when she realizes that Milgram really does have the tech to look deep inside her. She watches it just a few times – not obsessing over it, but not afraid either. Deep Cover, however, is a once-and-done sort of deal. She claims she’s not letting the others watch it because “they couldn’t handle such harsh but true criticisms about themselves,” but she doesn’t end up watching it anymore herself, either.

THE DEFINITIVE MILGRAM SHOE TIER LIST
WHAT ARE THOOOOOSEEE
Tumblr media
Jackalope: . .̶̧̳̗͚͈̜͕̜̄̎͊̉̽͆͛ͪ̾̆̓̾̾̃ͥ́̕͝.̒̌ͦͥ̅̊͛ͫ͏̨͖̰̳̖̜͎̀.
Tumblr media
Lucky rabbits foot yes.
Es: B
Tumblr media
Design looks very nice actually. Looks pretty sleek but it looks either very cheap or super expensive. No in between. Might’ve put it higher if it didn’t have the raised heels which look really uncomfortable.
Haruka T1: C
Tumblr media
Very bland white slip ons. Kinda the type you’d wear around the house but they look like they’d fall off easily.
Haruka T2: D
Tumblr media
No. These shoes look like something you’d find in the attic that’s been there for years or perhaps fished up in a river. He can’t even tie his shoelaces properly (ignores the fact that I only wear sandals and can’t tie shoelaces).
Yuno T1: C
Tumblr media
Simple school shoes. I’ve worn these before and they’re pretty uncomfortable if you walk in them for too long but they look nice with her design.
Yuno T2: B
Tumblr media
Very similar shoes but they look nicer and more comfortable so I’m putting them higher up.
Fuuta T1: B
Tumblr media
The shoes itself look pretty comfortable and efficient. Maybe like something you’d wear for hiking. But those god awful rotten mustard yellow socks are awful I would’ve placed it higher if not for that.
Fuuta T2: B
Tumblr media
(same shoes)
Muu T1: F
Tumblr media
Is she wearing steel? They look so uncomfortable and look like if you trip they could crush your ankles. Like girl you’re wearing high heels because you’re rich but you have awful taste.
Muu T2: C?
Tumblr media
Honestly I don’t entirely know what to think about these. Looks similar to the first one but maybe a little bit more comfortable with the bigger heel strap and without that weird arch pattern. Although I notice that she’s actually got steel plating on the shoes so if she kicked someone she’d probably kill them.
Shidou T1: C
Tumblr media
Pretty standard whatever-it’s-called (I don’t know I’m not a shoeologist). The brown looks kinda nice but clashes with the rest of his design a little bit. Kinda feels both casual and something you’d wear to work.
Shidou T2: A
Tumblr media
These shoes actually go kinda hard. They fit a lot better with his design and look like a skeleton. I can’t tell if they’re just patterned shoes or sandals but they look pretty comfy and I can excuse socks with these type of sandals.
Mahiru T1: C
Tumblr media
Really split on this one. Like the general style of the shoes look pretty nice and with the platforms (wait I just noticed Mahiru probably wears platform shoes because she’s so short lmao) but the exposed toes look kinda weird and like who tf paints their toenails.
Mahiru T2: S
Tumblr media
She would be allowed to walk around barefoot. Oh wait she can’t walk-
Kazui T1: D
Tumblr media
I don’t have much to say about these but they look very tight and could hurt.
Kazui T2: C
Tumblr media
Slightly better because they don’t look like they could restrict blood flow but like Haruka they look like something you’d find old and discarded in an attic. Not in a river though.
Amane T1: B
Tumblr media
I would rank it lower because I’m not too big of a fan of school shoes like this but the big socks actually look quite comfortable so it’s a bit higher.
Amane T2: B
Tumblr media
(same shoes)
Mikoto T1: C
Tumblr media
Shoes kinda mid. Not much going on apart from them looking kinda worn out. Does match his hair colour nicely though.
Mikoto T2: C
Tumblr media
(same shoes)
Damn what happened to his shoelaces
Kotoko T1: S
Tumblr media
I love these shoes. So much I actually had a dream about finding them at a shop and getting really happy. Basically the only shoes I wear are sandals like that and say what you want about the socks but the colour looks really nice.
Kotoko T2: A
Tumblr media
These are also pretty good. They look comfy and pretty stylish and could be worn in a lot of situations although maybe they could get a bit hot. I also like how unlike other character designs in other media these don’t go up right to the knee to the point your legs are like sticks. Honestly Kotoko has good taste in shoes.

I talked about my Milgram actors theory earlier, but @amugoffandoms reminded me I also have a little emotional support au version of the idea I’ve been meaning to chat about! It's actually not a typical actors au -- the canon events still happen, but are staged by the in-universe Milgram organization.
(Edit, now with a fic!)
Just like in canon, the organization has a mysterious/supernatural ability to identify and track down ten specific people at their breaking point. In this au, though, it's ten people who could have committed crimes soon. They discreetly reach out to these individuals, requesting for them to be actors in their experiment. They say there will be someone playing a prison guard, and explain the premise. With a bit of coaxing or bribing for a few, they all accept.
Milgram ensures these newfound “prisoners” don’t need to change many details about their lives – the less lies to keep track of, the easier it would be for these ordinary people to pull off such an extensive con.
Some of them are exactly as they were right before their murders, such as Yuno, Fuuta, Muu, and Kotoko. Haruka, his sister, and Amane did go through traumatic abuse, but it was Milgram that pulled them out of the situation before they resorted to murder. Mikoto is/has been aware of his alters for a while at this point.
Some of the others are taken from their lives after things that could have ended fatally turned out alright: Shidou’s family got into an accident but all recovered; Milgram picked up on his private realization that he would have done anything to save them, were the damage worse. Mahiru and Kazui’s partners attempted/considered suicide, but did not succeed. In Mahiru’s case, they reached a friendship despite breaking up. I still don’t know enough about Kazui’s wife, but I like to think they’re pretty separate now.
The ten prisoners weren’t allowed to meet beforehand, but they individually collaborated with the Milgram team to write the lyrics for their t1 songs and film their videos. I'll mention more about the other actors later, but the filming process is a lot of fun. Though the topics confront them with some unsavory thoughts about themselves, it's a good time singing and acting and getting the giggles on set and everything.
Milgram pulls Es from wherever they were for whatever reason, wipes their memory, and drops them into the prison. The prisoners are unaware that Es didn't come willingly, as they all did.
Once the experiment begins, everyone’s interactions that we’ve seen to this point are genuine. The prisoners get to know each other, while they come to terms with the fact that themselves and these others all had murderous potential. Their personalities, behaviors, and stories from their lives are all true. In the interrogations, they speak honestly to Es about their values and choices. The only faked things are the actual references to the murders, and the “invisible force” that they pretend to hit when acting in violence. Mikoto is instructed to use a bit of violence during his interrogation, though Kotoko sneaking in wasn’t scripted – she genuinely had her concerns about his character and acted accordingly.
While Es sleeps after T1, the prisoners are treated the same regardless of verdict. They provide the team with their genuine thoughts about one another to decide what the staged incidents should be. Kotoko doesn’t actually hate the guilty prisoners, but she recognizes she would’ve wanted to take justice into her own hands in a real situation. Amane is very upset but Es' verdict, but the team helps her dramatize her transformation a bit. Haruka and Muu genuinely get that close. Yuno does wish to be left alone.
They film their second trial videos, now allowed to be around the other prisoners as they do so. They also invite people in their life to come in and play their victims. Yes, it’s just as awkward as it sounds. This is where the prisoners do their real reflection – they think about Es’ verdict for them and what they could have been capable of. There’s a bit of relief from both parties knowing that things will turn out alright now that Milgram intervened (ironic, I know, but this is my fix-it hehe). Shidou’s kids are excited to be filmed, not really understanding the context. Haruka once again works with an actor playing his younger self, a bit put off by how similar they look and the memories he bring back. Haruka’s mother, Rei, and Amane’s cult members (if they appear) are some of the only characters played by strangers, though they do look strikingly similar to the real people. Fuuta’s victim is also played by a stranger. Things are still tense with Hinako, but she agrees to appear.
The team helps the prisoners fake injuries with lots bandages and slings. Then they wake Es. The same is repeated for T2/T3.
Now, I’ve played out a few different paths depending on my angst tolerance at the moment – sometimes Es goes through with the third trial verdicts and is forced to watch the executions (not realizing they're cleverly staged). Sometimes they refuse, finding a way to stop the whole experiment. Sometimes the prisoners realize that Es has been an unwilling participant, and bring the experiment to a stop themselves. Sometimes someone jams a wrench in the mv machine and try to blow it up in order for everything to end before final verdicts.
Because of limited details, the ending can play out however one wants. But my go-to is that Es wake up sometime afterwards in a clean facility filled with scientists. They’re brought to an interrogation room – this time on the other side of the questioning. They’re asked about their motivations, actions, emotions, choices, verdicts (or the reason they rebelled at the very end). A few doors down, the prisoners are being asked similar questions of self-reflection and morality.
Es demands to know what’s going on, while the team tries to assure them that the prisoners are all fine. Es doesn’t buy this, though. They know what kind of mind games the experiment has tried to pull, and can’t tell what’s truth or lie anymore. Things get heated as they demand to see the prisoners. Meanwhile, the prisoners are getting worked up asking about Es. If they haven't already, this is when they learn that Es was an actual prisoner there the whole time. The last time they were together the situation was very intense, and they’re all incredibly worried about them.
In the end, they manage to break out of their rooms and reunite in the middle of the facility, and Es is shocked. All ten are alive and well, even those they may have seen die. No eyes or limbs are missing. They’re all laughing and getting along, no matter what kinds of fights they got into between trials. Even more shocking is when the victims join them later – also all alive and happy.
The ending has a bit of unavoidable angst since Es would be pretty fucked up by the whole experiment. They’d struggle with trust issues and knowing what’s reality. However, it’s still an overwhelmingly happy ending. They get to befriend the prisoners and their families outside of the painful context they met in. Regretting their ignorance of the situation, the prisoners decide to make up for lost time and spend a lot of positive, quality time with Es. The kids are finally allowed to play, and the they finally let the adults act a bit protective over them. This is when the found family completely kicks in lol. Es gets to sleep easy knowing they are all alive and happy, they receive all their memories again, and they get to return home to their own family.
I added it to a reblog but editing with @/qrevo's tags because this is what I was looking for but couldn't quite pin down to make it healing for Es too:

Honeymoon Knight / Chapter 1 - A New Request
All | Next
※ A notice before reading the event story In this "Honeymoon Knight" event, various memories of the lord with the butlers will be told. The story is designed to be more enjoyable for lords who have read other event stories.... So, for this reason, please reminisce about the memories with the butlers. ...........................
[Area around Devil's Palace]
Tumblr media
~ One day in June ~
It has been rainy for quite some time around Devil’s Palace. The quiet sound of rain echoes through the mansion.
[Devil's Palace, Your Room]
Muu: “Phew... Recently, there have been many rainy days, my lord.  I like looking for rainbows after the rain... but if it continues to rain like this, it gets a bit disheartening.”
> “Yeah, it does...”
Muu: “Oh, right! My lord, how about... Reminiscing the time we went to Velis on days like these?”
> “The one with the resort?”
Muu: “Yes, that's right! Velis, the place we visited last summer! It was so bright and sunny, with the beautiful sea. When you remember it, don't you feel a burst of energy?”
> “Certainly…”
Muu: “At that time... we could play with all the butlers, and it was fun, right? I want to go to Velis again!”
> “I'd like to go again too”
While talking about such things... there was a knock on the door.
Knock, knock...
> “Please come in” > “Feel free to enter”
Click
Tumblr media
Berrien: "Excuse me, my lord.”
Muu: “Wow! Mr. Berrien, that outfit looks amazing!”
> “It suits you, Berrien”
Berrien: "Fufu... Thank you, both of you. This is an outfit that Flure made for a new request… I wanted to show it to you beforehand, so I put it on.”
> “Thank you, Berrien”
Berrien: "No, no... I am the one who wants to express gratitude. Being praised by you... made me happier.”
Muu: “By the way, where are we going for the new request? Is it Velis by any chance!?”
Berrien: "Oh dear, Muu. Whatever made you think of Velis?”
Muu: “We were just talking about it. Since it's been raining a lot lately, we thought of going to a sunny and bright place!”
Berrien: “Ah… I understand now. Well then, let's discuss the actual destination in a separate room. The other butlers are already waiting as well... Would it be alright for you to come to the dining room for the time being?”
> “Understood”
Guided by Berrien, we headed to the dining room.
[Devil's Palace, Dining Room]
When I entered... There were already five butlers gathered.
Berrien: "Please go ahead, my lord. Here is the place.”
> “Thank you, Berrien”
Miyaji: “Hello, my lord.”
Lucas: “Fufu... This time too, please take care of the request.”
Hanamaru: “Yo, my lord. Take care of me too."
Haures: "Mr. Hanamaru... please greet the lord properly as a butler."
> "Hello, guys"
Berrien: "Thank you all for gathering."
Lucas: "Oh? Berrien, does that lovely outfit have something to do with this request?"
Berrien: "Yes, exactly. Since this time, everyone will be going together, representatives from each group were called for information sharing."
Hanamaru: "I see... but I think Yuhan would be more fitting than me."
Haures: "If this request involves everyone...  It implies that there's a need for manpower, right?"
Lucas: "So... Is it, perhaps, preparing for another party like during Valentine's?"
Muu: "Or... Perhaps, escorting nobles, like when we went to Velis?"
Berrien: "No, this time... it's both."
> "Both...?"
Berrien: "This time, everyone will be... preparing for a party and acting as escorts for the nobles."
Hanamaru: (Woahhh, this is definitely gonna be a hassle...)
Haures: "Hmm... Preparing for a party in June... Could it possibly be a wedding celebration?"
> "A wedding?" > “What do you mean?”
Lucas: "You may already know, but... In June, there is a saying related to marriage. 'Marry in June for happiness blessed by the goddess.'  So, during this season... There are often requests for preparations for weddings and escorting guests."
> "I see, it's the June Bride tradition"
Lucas: "Yes, that's right."
Miyaji: “By the way, I heard some news recently... It seems one of the potential heirs of the Grovaner family got married.”
Muu: "Potential heir...?"
Lucas: "To put it simply... someone in line to take over from Lord Finlay as the head, got married.”
Hanamaru: "So, this request is... preparations for the wedding and escorting the guests?"
Berrien: "In addition to that... You also need to escort the newlyweds on their 'honeymoon'."
Muu: "What's a honeymoon?"
Miyaji: "As the name suggests, it's a trip for the newlyweds.  Originally, it's just a trip... But when it comes to the heir, things change. Attending celebratory banquets across the cities, interacting with influential figures... It will likely become quite an important trip."
Haures: "I see... So, our presence is required for that."
Berrien: "Yes, that's correct. The couple will be visiting various cities... So, we will need to act as escorts at each destination."
Lucas: "I see...  By the way... Where are we going?"
Berrien: "First the 'Water City Velis,' then 'Rosetown,' followed by 'Maroota,' … Then 'Tisailles, the City of Fashion,' and finally... 'Kalliste, the City of Blessings’."
Muu: "Yay! My lord, it's Velis! And there are so many places we've been to before!"
> "I'm only unfamiliar with 'Kalliste' "
Miyaji: "Ah, come to think of it... We haven't been to Kalliste with the lord."
Haures: "I'm sure, my lord, that you'll like the city of Kalliste."
Lucas: "Kalliste is a beautiful city known as the holy land of marriage. Also, Kalliste is a city with many sunny days. It might be just perfect for our next destination, considering this rainy season."
> "I see” > “I can't wait!”
Hanamaru: "Sure, I'm fed up with the recent rain, but... I'm curious about the order we'll be visiting the cities. Maroota and Tisailles... they're not that far from Espoir, right? Wouldn't it make more sense to go there before Velis?"
Berrien: "I agree, but... It seems we have to follow this specific order."
Haures: "In that case... It looks like we'll be covering quite a distance."
Miyaji: "My lord, it might turn into a long journey, but... We'll support you thoroughly."
> "Thank you."
Lucas: "However... It's concerning if the butlers get fatigued during such a long journey for this mission."
Berrien: "Yes, that's why for this mission... We'll make sure to have breaks.  For example... while in Velis, everyone from the third floor can rest, and in Maroota, it's villa butlers’ turn to rest. During our stay in Rosetown, it'll be butlers from the second floor's turn... like this, butlers from each group can rest in each city."
Miyaji: "I see... That way, fatigue is less likely to accumulate."
Lucas: "Good plan, Berrien."
Berrien: "Fufu, I'm glad you think so."
Lucas: "While resting, is it alright for us to go out with the lord?"
Berrien: "Yes, of course. Since each city is famous for its tourist spots...  In fact, butlers who are resting can go to take the lord sightseeing."
> "Aren't you tired?"
Berrien: "Not at all... It's nothing to be worried about. The time we spend with you is a healing time for us."
Lucas: "That's right… ♪  Besides, since we're visiting various cities, it's a waste if the lord doesn't enjoy the sightseeing."
> "Th-thank you"
Berrien: "Fufu... That settles it then."
Muu: "Looks like fun! My lord!"
> "Yeah…!"
And so, I embarked on a journey across the different regions of the central lands with the butlers.
note: my takes on the place names & event source
Velis Event: Butler's Summer. The same Velis with X'mas Circus one. It might be Venezia + Feliz navidad (???).
Rosetown Event: Rose Valentine.
Maroota Event: Butler's Christmas. It might be Malta/Maltese Cat + Maroon. Malta is famous in Japan as the island with more cats than humans. Edit: just to clarify, this island is definitely not in Japan.
Tisailles Event: Wings of Frill. It might be Versailles + T-shirt (???).
Kalliste (with an é. I'm not gonna write it). First mentioned in this event. It might be Santorini/Thira (Santorini used to be called Kalliste, from the Callisto myth).

Milgram 3rd trial predictions! Now that the 2nd trial is officially over, and we have to wait until like September for the next trial to begin, I thought I could do some theorizing!
Haruka: Looking at the timeline, oh he's definitely planning... something, alone. He said he'd kill himself If Muu was voted guilty, and we all know she was. If he is planning to kill himself, then I don't think it's going to work, as he was voted guilty and thus will be restrained. However... as childish as he may be, I don't think he's entirely dumb. Perhaps he's looking for ways to work around the restrictions placed on him, or he's planning something else entirely. I just really hope he doesn't hurt any of the other prisoners, but that does seem pretty likely, actually. He definitely will not take the guilty vote well, and he's probably going to be pretty hostile to Es later on... Just based on these predictions, I'm not sure if I can vote him innocent in the 3rd trial. He's so obviously unstable, and maybe if he was treated better as a child he could have learned to function properly with whatever disorder he has, but the fact is he wasn't. If being voted innocent overall means being let out of the prison, then I... I'm not sure if that's an entirely good idea.
Yuno: Her reaction to her vote all depends on whether or not she takes it as people actually agreeing with her reasoning (or lack of) for abortion and her compensated dating. I'm not sure about the Japanese side of things, but at least here, a lot of people do support her even with all that. However... there are still a fair bit of people still like 'Yuno is a girl boss!' (or something along those lines) I have a feeling she'll still see it as people not seeing her for who she actually is. She's cold and rational, and so obviously fallen to the pit of nihilism. I'm not sure if there is a reason for that, but maybe that's the point of her character? Does she need a reason? Life is good for her, but that gets so boring and just... mundane. If everything will be fine, what's the point in doing anything bothersome? She'll probably fall back even further into her cold demeanor. I mean, if she does recognize the community understands her situation and her reasoning, then maybe she'll become slightly more bubbly and stuff like her 1st trial. Probably open up a bit more. Me, personally, I still support her, and will probably vote her innocent in the 3rd trial, but again, I don't want her to think we're doing it out of our preconceived notions about her.
Fuuta: ... Just taking a look at his recent birthday messages in the timeline- he's so obviously started to listen to Amane and her cultish stuff. I literally can't imagine what a brainwashed Fuuta will look like, but I don't think it'd be pretty. He was suffering so much during the 2nd trial, and he probably did start listening to Amane's spiel because he needed something to ground him. I'm sure the innocent vote this time around did make him feel better though. He's fully aware that what he did to that girl online was bad, and I really don't think he'd be the type of person to think he's fully forgiven just because of this one vote. Though he'd definitely want Es to vote him innocent again in the 3rd trial. And if he's acting generally normal and it's clear he does understand exactly why we voted him guilty and innocent, then...I think I would vote him innocent. Unless he does something horrible because of the whole- potentially might be brainwashed into Amane's cult thing.
Muu: She will not take the guilty vote well, I can feel it. Maybe she stopped hanging out with Haruka as well. I can see that affecting Haruka pretty badly too. I can imagine her getting extremely angry as Es. Or maybe trying to go back to her "boo-hoo look at me who got bullied really badly" thing, to try to guilt trip Es into voting her innocent again. Obviously, that won't work though, resulting in Muu getting really angry/lashing out at him in the voice drama. I think she has a pretty white-and-black view of what's "right" and "wrong." She was probably struggling with herself in the 1st trial, dealing with the shock and guilt over having murdered somebody, but still desperately trying to tell herself she was in the right. Since we voted her innocent then, she was able to fully convince herself she was right, and that's why people voted her guilty then. She needs to see she is in the wrong, while also having a very reasonable motive. That wouldn't end up working though. Because these votes aren't a means to communicate with the prisoners, it's just a verdict. I'm honestly not sure if I want Muu to be voted innocent, or guilty overall. But if being voted guilty overall means the death penalty or something, I don't think Muu deserves that.
Shidou: He knows exactly why we voted him innocent 2 times in a row. I'm sure he does understand his motive can be seen as sympathetic, and he is a doctor. He can patch anybody up if the prisoners get into a skirmish again. He was confused with himself in the second trial, desperately wanting to be given retribution, yet now feeling a desire to live. Being voted innocent twice, and now firmly guaranteed he will be voted innocent overall, he'll either fully accept living again, taking back his skill as a doctor with a sense of pride, or... perhaps fall back into his old thinking patterns. I mean, that's honestly just a thought, but the distorted voice line in the 2nd trial character voice trailer really got me thinking. "You're in my way...hurry up and die." He really had a tunnel vision for saving his wife. (or kids, I'm not entirely sure) His profession as a doctor, specifically one in charge of organ transplants, perhaps did give him a vague sense of superiority. I'm not sure where, but somebody in a comment or something mentioned he may have had a God complex? I'm horrible at explaining this- but it honestly makes some sense to me that he may have had that sort of line of thinking as a doctor. His grief and guilt over the fact he couldn't save his family and the knowledge he was bringing that same pain to so many other families knocked him down a peg. However... maybe the innocent votes we gave him did bring him up again, and he goes back to that sort of mentality.
Mahiru: I sincerely hope she's feeling better after we gave her the innocent vote. Maybe she's started to recover nicely as well! I mean, it's just hopeful thinking, but it'd be nice if she's able to walk again. I do think she'll at least sort of go back to her bubbly personality. Maybe she'll make friends with Amane! Amane did mention Mahiru was nice to be around. Her view on love is obviously pretty warped, but I mean, she honestly feels like a nice lady with good intentions deep down. Unless some absolutely new surprising development happens that makes Mahiru out as really bad- I think I'll be voting Mahiru innocent again. I can see her being like, one of the few generally calm ones in whatever chaos happens between the prisoners before the 3rd trial.
Kazui: Now, in his 2nd trial voice drama, he basically begs Es to truly uncover his sin/lies, because he doesn't have the strength to at this point. It wasn't cheating, like we thought in the 1st trial, and now the leading theory is he's gay. I... I'm pretty sure that is correct, based on all the hints we've gotten so far. I think Kazui would open up to Es a bit more if that was the case, maybe even tell him the full story? I think he'd interact more with the prisoners this time around, being there to protect people if anyone tries something funny. Again, I think he'd be one of the few "normal" acting prisoners in the 3rd trial. Unless some crazy development happens, I'm fully willing to vote him innocent 3 times in a row.
Amane: Now... in the 1st trial we voted her guilty because we didn't want her to fall further into the cult's teachings. That obviously didn't work. Now we voted her innocent. The question is, will this cause her to further validate the cult's doctrines, or in some weird way cause her to realize what we've been wanting her to realize from the start: that she fully deserved to get back at her parents and the cult for everything they did to her, but what she did was STILL BAD. The reason she fell back on her faith was because we rejected her views. Because she needed something to ground her, to protect her from the shock and guilt of murder. So perhaps the opposite will cause her to open up a little more - and not double down on her faith like we predicted in the 1st trial. But the fact she somehow managed to indoctrinate/ in the process of indoctrinating Fuuta into her faith does leave me concerned. Since she's not restrained, I can totally see her trying to attack Shidou or something. Or maybe because Shidou was also voted innocent alongside her, so she wouldn't? Like- him using all his medical stuff is forgivable, but Amane's beliefs that medicine is bad are also forgivable kind of thing. I mean, personally, I'm willing to vote her innocent overall. I actually hope so - because the poor girl literally needs therapy instead of whatever Milgram is. Every prisoner needs therapy.
Mikoto: In his voice drama, John mentioned he'd "disappear" if Mikoto was voted innocent. Because the reason John was appearing more frequently was the stress the guilty vote from the 1st trial put on Mikoto, and now the innocent vote will serve to calm him down a bit more. Personally, I don't think John will fully disappear, but I'm sure John will appear a lot less. (Unless something crazy happens like another prisoner attacking Mikoto again) There's still that thought in my head that Mikoto might be lying to some degree- that he did murder somebody as himself, but with the second trial, that idea has become a lot less certain. It might literally just be as simple as - John killed a bunch of people and Mikoto himself doesn't remember any of it and was only labeled as the Milgram prisoner because he is the dominant personality. That innocent vote will definitely calm Mikoto down significantly. Maybe he'll open up a bit as well, and not like, put on that fake smile even when he's super stressed. To be honest - I'm not sure if I want to give Mikoto an innocent vote. I mean If I'm looking purely at Mikoto, then, yeah, sure. But John is still a part of Mikoto, and no matter the reason, John has done some pretty bad stuff.
Kotoko: She won't take the guilty vote well, and It isn't only a matter of her getting pissed off at Es. (which she probably will) Her vigilante shtick is literally Kotoko's life, her purpose to live, and we rejected it. She'll be grappling with herself, actually starting to question everything she's done. It will be a slap in the face for her - a reminder that she is truly a prisoner here, a murderer. I think maybe she will actually start being remorseful? Or maybe she'll just fall further back in her mindset like Amane did in the 2nd trial. I can also see that. I can also totally see somebody like Fuuta trying to get revenge on Kotoko while she's restrained. That'd take a lot of sympathy away from Fuuta, (at least for me) and will definitely lead to some drama, so that is a very real possibility. I can also see Shidou hurting Kotoko as well, actually. Though that possibility is a lot less, he did talk about "extracting the fang" in Triage. I don't know if I should vote her innocent or not if that's the case. I suppose it's like a "wait and see" kind of thing.

impressions
first trial. what are everyone's thoughts of prisoner eleven?
tw/cw: cursing, mentions of drinking, smoking and threats
jackalope
"prisoner eleven. i would deem them one of the more interesting prisoners of milgram. also one of the more dangerous ones. who knows what they can do really. only time will tell."
es
"seriously a pain in the ass. out of all the prisoners, prisoner eleven is the most difficult to get information out of, but... when you do, it's the most rewarding. hopefully they won't cause too much trouble to the other prisoners. as much as i dislike everyone, i dislike prisoner eleven the most."
haruka
"prisoner eleven? oh! um... they're alright i guess. they keep me company and actually made me laugh a few times. though, i can't help but feel restless around them at times... it's not their fault though! i'm probably just overthinking it..."
yuno
"i like prisoner eleven! they give me a lot of attention, and i can joke around with them quite often. i feel like i don't really have to force myself with them. they can get a little too cynical for my liking sometimes, but other than that, they're like a good person to talk to!"
fuuta
"fuck prisoner eleven. i can't stand listening to them talk. it's like they know all the right times to piss me off. they're a fucking freak and that's all i know."
muu
"muu's first interaction with prisoner eleven was when they came up to me and called muu pretty. but after that, they just kept teasing muu about not knowing french... i was raised in japan."
shidou
"the most like a child out of all the prisoners. prisoner eleven is quite a refreshing character, but i am concerned for them at times. it seems like they're keeping up an act, but at the same time, that could just be how they are. i wonder if they even sleep. their eye bags seem to say otherwise."
mahiru
"prisoner eleven feels like someone i could truly love. out of all the prisoners, they keep me company the most! i like all the other prisoners, of course, but i think i like prisoner eleven the most! plus, they let me doll them up often!"
kazui
"if there isn't someone laughing at my joke, prisoner eleven isn't there. they always give me the biggest reactions to them, and i always appreciate it. i also found out that they're surprisingly a lightweight! are they even allowed to drink?"
amane
"prisoner eleven acts more like a kid than me, so i don't wanna hear any other prisoner say i'm like a kid! i once asked them to teach me something educational, and they told me they flunked school! i'm twelve. surely they know something i don't."
mikoto
"prisoner eleven is a pretty eccentric person. one time i blacked out, and when i woke up, they were smoking with the others. they then put a cig in my hand and offered a lighter. who influenced them?"
kotoko
"i'm hoping for prisoner eleven to be guilty, so i can beat the shit out of them with my bat. if i'm being honest, i don't think i could keep up with them if we went hand to hand. they're the type of person i want to get rid of the most."
a/n: i do not condone starting smoking or drinking or flunking out of school. stay in school. and don't do drugs.

MILGRAM, Growing Up & Maturity
Recently, I've been thinking about MILGRAM and its prisoners connections to the concept of age and growing up - not every prisoner has a connection to this theme, but I think it's worth talking about!
Haruka - Haruka still sees himself as a child (his age is listed as 17, so he technically is) though in his MVs, he's often shown as a very young child, which makes sense considering his story centers around his relationship with his mother (and likely his life in the school system/being mistreated as a disabled child). Haruka represents being stuck growing up forever, never being supported enough to grow into an adult.
Yuno - Yuno's young age was often used as a point of skepticism by the audience during T1. She was told she was just too immature to know what she was doing/was barely an adult etc. Yuno spoke out against this view in Tear Drop, which represents her as a mature adult, despite her young age. She mirrors Haruka in this aspect. She grew up as fast as she liked, her decisions were her own. She was allowed to become an adult exactly when she wanted to.
Fuuta - Fuuta, even being 20 years old, still acts very much like a teenage bully - or at least, that's the act he puts up. He goes along with the crowd and doesn't really know his own place in the world just yet. He's not even able to realize the harm he's doing to his online victims until his 'murder'. When he's voted guilty in T1, this bully attitude is finally stripped away and he seems more like a confused young boy than a confident college student. Fuuta hasn't quite reached the point where he can call himself a grown adult yet.
Muu - This one is a little harder to properly pinpoint. Muu has been pampered by her rich parents all her life and has never had to make many decisions or work for herself (assuming she was actually a queen bee bully type). The first decision in her life that's actually hers is, tragically enough, her murder. She seems to see herself as someone who can boss around adults already when she clearly still has a lot of growing up to do.
Shidou - Shidou seems like the most mature prisoner of all. He had a family, a wife, kids - though that's been taken away from him, he still retains a wiseness that the other characters don't seem to have. Shidou is an adult who would rather be taken apart by piece by piece than see others be hurt. He often talks about his childhood in his extra material, almost seemingly longing to be a child again, where he had to experience no loss and no growing up.
Mahiru - Mahiru, as contrasted by Shidou, is very lacking in experiencing what she values most in life - love. She's in college when she finally gets what she wants, and she doesn't understand what being in a relationship truly means. In her 2nd MV, her view of her relationship is almost childishly whimsical. There's a carousel, sweets, a party just for her. This is to symbolize her still needing to grow and see the real world for what it is, also linked to maturity.
Kazui - With the next pair, this motif is a lot easier to see. Kazui is the oldest prisoner in all of MILGRAM, but he is still immature at heart. He often talks almost like he resents being an adult, wishing to be irresponsible again. This may sound similar to Shidou at first, but the difference between Kazui and Shidou is the fact that Shidou doesn't seem to mind being affected by societal norms (having a family, a good job, wife and kids...) as much as Kazui. Kazui wants nothing more than to be as free as he used to be before his relationship (either because he doesn't want to have just 1 relationship or because he hates the norms being forced on him). This might just be disproven in like 1 month but.. we'll see?
Amane - I feel like Amane is almost too obvious for me to write anything about her. First off, she's a child. Obviously she's still growing up and learning - but she's a child trope flipped on her head, she's only twelve, but she's obsessed with being a mature adult (assumedly to be respected by her elders in the cult). Often showcased in the Minigram comics is her childish nature surfacing in calm moments, but it never lasts. She's been forced to grow up too fast and there's no undoing it for her.
I feel like I can't really connect this theme to Mikoto and Kotoko, honestly. We just don't know enough about them yet - So maybe I'll expand on this once their T2 MVs come out? Feel free to add on if you'd like, though. :) Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Info for writer in Thai series fandom: Pet name & tone indicator sound
Some words to call your lover
Sweet and polite
คุณ-khun or เธอ-tur with ฉัน-chan, เรา-rao or ผม-phom(offically this one is for men, but it did get used by women) are words that can be used with people who are not your lovers but are considered to be quite sweet to call your lover that. I already mentioned it in Chapter 4. Chan and tur are very popular choices for song lyrics.
ที่รัก-thirak straight up call a person "someone you love". Rak is love, so if we want it literally, it would be beloved or something along those lines. I never saw anyone actually use it seriously before. Just a parody of something, or like I do, to tease a friend. Or, if we count, I think I've heard a mom call her child "mom's thirak" before. We could add สุด-sud in the front, sudthirak, make it mean "someone you love most."
แฟน-faen Boyfriend/girlfriend but non-binary. If used as a pronoun, then it usually comes with those Thai sounds khrap/ka at the end. You probably need to draw the word out for good measure too. Its sound is the same as how the word fan in "fan club" is pronounced in Thai, so there are a lot of fan club or faen khrap puns/jokes used with actor shipping situations.
คนดี-kondee Khon is a unit of human in Thai, and dee is good. เด็กดี-dekdee Dek is a child, and dee is the same as dee in Khondee. I feel like both Khondee and Dekdee have a bit of a patronizing feeling. But not always in a bad way, though. Is that a thing? Like, if you used those words with someone sincere, you probably felt the urge to take care of them at least a little bit. You probably feel like they are a precious, cute little thing. Something like that The fact that Im 100% sure parents used dekdee with their children might factor into it. As for Kondee, I'm about 90% sure.
Dek means kid, but we use it quite loosely, so twenty-somethings get called Dek all the time, and if it were by an elderly person, then the Dek in question might as well be a mother of two.
พ่อ แม่-por and mae As in father and mother. Usually, it starts when a couple becomes parents. A fur baby will do too for some.
Insulting words as a pet name
เด๋อ-der clumsy, foolish, silly, awkward, stupid, dull, dump_ Those things mix together, but like, in a soft version. Usually used with something add to the front, such as ไอ้-Ai, เด็ก-dek, or some Thai's sound for tone indicator(?) to the back, or both.
อ้วน-uuan fat, chubby—อ้วน can actually be a parent-given nickname too. I know some women around my mom's age range whose nickname is that. Personally, if it says it in a particular way, I find it really cute.
เหนียง-niang double chin
เถิก-terk go bald, the description of a hair line that starts to recede.
ลุง-lung Uncle (the one that is older than the father) aka old man. Usually used by a noticeable younger person. Not that they actually date someone older than their dad, or do they?👀
เด็กโง่-dekngo Stupid child, but like, an endearingly stupid, childish person.
ดื้อ-due _Not obeying, refuse to comply_ often used to describe a child. I saw ดื้อ  get translated to stubbon a lot, but personally, I find that not quite fitting (not that I have other words in mind). It might just be a me thing, though.
Probably a full-on PDA couple, act cute to each other 24/7
เล็ก-lek Small,tiny
ใหญ่-yai Big,giant
This two are a pair. Sometime it will have something added to it, ตัว-tua which means self/person/body, for exemple.
Animal + small or pi/nong/por(dad)/mae(mom) + animal Something like, cat, bear, pig, dog
Ex:Pi Muu(pig)/Nong Miao(cute alternative way to call cat)/Miao lek(small)/Por Mee(bear)
บี๋-bie Short from baby
Repeating a syllable of a nick name two times for a lovey-dovey pet name is also a thing.
ไอ้ต้าว-ai tao Tao is a meaningless sound that was derived from a word that was a prefix "เจ้า-Jao." It is used to express that the speaker thinks the person being mentioned is cute/childlike. They most likely appear with a strangely sweet voice. Sometimes used for friendly mocking of someone for being childlike.
youtube
Eng sub-cute dimples = Ai tao dimples
หนู-nhu Nhu is something that is used with children, but it also can be for a lover. Can be innocent or quite sinful depending on the context. (This one is already mentioned in Chapter 4 too)
เค้า Kao and ตัวเอง Tua-eng are a pair. Kao is for calling yourself, and Tuaeng is for calling your lover. What is of interest is that Kao typically refers to the third person, and Tuaeng refers to "oneself." It kind of gets perceived as something silly that people in love do. There are some words that are born from distorted "tuaeng" that you can use for a lover too, such as using only the first word "tua", shortening the "tua" sound to make it sound like 'ta-eng, or combining the two sounds to make it sound like "teng". The "Kao" might be replaced by other words such as Rao, and it might help lower the silliness, or not? Lately, I have seen some traders (usually women small business owners) call their customers Tuaeng to make them feel closer to them. Not Kao, tho. I have yet to see any shopkeeper use Kao for "I.".
Kind of a little roleplay, but not really?
ป๋า-pa Dad as in father or 💰Daddy💰 as in sugar daddy.
An overly respectful way to call someone or use a title that the receiver doesn't actually own is also something I see and think is pretty cute.

Some words/phrase that relevent to love life.
เพื่อนคู่คิด มิตรคู่ใจ-phuea khukhit mit khuchai This is a phrase that describes a marriage partner as a friend ( phuea = friend) who will help you think ( khit), a trusting ally (mit ), and your best friend who you can rely on. I find it to be very romantic.
คู่ชีวิต-khu chivit life partner
คนรู้ใจ-khon ru jai person who knows your heart
ศีลเสมอ-syn samoe (like the name of a character from Cutie Pie)
ศีล Syn = precept
เสมอ samoe = same,equal
"Syn samoe" is a figure of speech that is probably roughly equivalent to "birds of a feather flock together." It is a concept that in order for one to be able to associate with others with ease of mind, one needs to hold the same moral code and values. If a person only holds on to one of the precepts, not killing, they wouldn't be suited to be with someone who also does not steal, not only as a lover but also as a close friend or someone close in general. And also the reversal, which is that if you can be close with someone, then you must be on the same level as that person, good or bad.
คนคุย - khon kui Person (you) talking to If A is Khon Kui of B, then they are getting to know each other with romantic intentions, but nothing is serious yet.
กิ่งทองใบหยก - king thong bai yok - jade leaf gold branch A very suitable match, used for those who are about to get married.
ผีเน่าโลงผุ - phi nao long phu - rotten ghost, decayed coffin When a couple is a very suitable match, but it's because they both are bad
ทองแผ่นเดียวกัน - thong phaen diao kan - the same gold sheet To become one piece of gold is to be connected by marriage. Ex: These two families are going to become the same piece of gold soon = someone from each of their families is going to marry the other.
ข้าวใหม่ปลามัน - fresh rice, creamy(?) fish A word to call a newlywed couple. Anything new is good, so in a period of newlywed bliss, everything will be good in your eyes.
ถ่านไฟเก่า-old coal Old flame, ex-lover who still might get back together
โซ่ทอง-gold chain A child is parents' gold chain that will link parents' hearts together forever. Basiclly, it is a concept that by having a child, the couple will be more committed to each other. Kind of scary if you ask me.
จีบ-jeeb _woo, flirt, spark, spoon, court, bind around_ I saw this translate to flirting most of the time, but while flirting is not serious, จีบ can be.
หยอด-yort is to put or pour it little by little in a narrow place; in some contexts, it means to drop in sweet words when you talk to someone, aka flirt.
อ้อน-oon is to plead, to implore, to cajole, to wheedle, to whimper.
กัดก้อนเกลือ-kat kon kluea-to bite on a cube of salt Is to be poor. usually mean when your financial situation is likely to be better than it is if not for your choice of partner.
ป๋า pa - เสี่ย sia - เด็ก dek pa/ dek sia When these words are used together, pa or sia is an (usually) older, wealthy (this one is a must) man, and dek, which translate directly to child or young, is a (usually) younger person who got financial benefit from being in this relationship. Pa or Sia is a sugar daddy, and Dek is a sugar baby, basically.
คบ-kob Is mostly used to mean dating, but it can also mean "associate" or "friend with", and it has been used for a variety of ambiguous speaking scene in drama and novels.
ชง-chong-brew It's kind of like creating an opportunity for someone else to say a pick-up line. Say things in order to push your friend toward the one you think your friend will like (whether the assumption is correct or not). Say a pick-up line or flirt with someone for the other person. GMM actors do it to other shipping pairs all the time. I find it quite funny, lol.
เพื่อน=friend But it can also mean accompany if you say it in some way. You could say that you want someone to go somewhere with you as เพื่อน and that would mean that you want them to accompany you, not that they are your friend exclusively. You can say it to anyone. friend, family member, lover, co-worker, etc.
Here Ayan say that he thanks Akk for นอนเป็นแฟน instead of นอนเป็นเพื่อน.
youtube
นอน=sleep
เป็น=as ,are, be, become, have, constitute, be able to
แฟน=lover
เพื่อน=friend
นอนเป็นเพื่อน=to go to bed with someone and keep them company
เพื่อน can also mean co-worker, school mate,
slice-of-thai.com, thai-tones.com, [Learn Thai] Five Tones in Thai (Pronunciation Practice) <--Some of the links for the Thai 5-tone explanation.
I think it would help in the next part (and with the Thai language in general) if you could remember what tone is what.
Tumblr media
The mid one, number 1, had no mark, and the other is as you can see in that orange band.
อา, อ่า, อ้า, อ๊า, and อ๋า is probably going to be the same when spelled in English (unless we make something up, like, อา=ah, อ่า=aah) but in Thai, you can see that the mark on top of them is different.
There are also a bunch of things that are relevant, like the way each type of Thai alphabet has its own base(?) tone in itself, making tone marking affect them differently. Ex: low consonant + dead syllable + short sound = rising tone (5) Even though it is written with no mark tone and so looks like it should probably be a mid tone (1), but we are not here for an actual Thai lesson, so you just need to remember that different tone is a thing and different tone = different mening.
Sounds that we use to indicate the tone of the sentence
****This topic isn't really an official and well-organized thing, plus my knowledge and ability to explain are quite limited, so maybe don't see it as a fact but something subjective?
If I put a check mark in the example column, it means it makes sense to put the sound in that row in the blank. Well, at least to me, it makes sense.
Tumblr media
A sentence that has some polite words in it doesn't mean that it is in fact polite or that the speaker is being polite and proper. So while Khrap and Ka are polite, people still can and have used them to end a sentence that is so impolite you will get customers yelling for your manager to fire you for saying it.
Some of those sounds can also be paired with other too. For example, Na(4) and Si(2) can be paired with Ka(4) and Khrap(4), as well as a few others, and include each other.

Yknow I feel like I should have a main post where I share my Milgram opinions/verdicts (thought of this bc i was writing my sister's opinion on the milgram characters). So I'll go character by character.
Will anyone read this? I don't know but its here
Haruka: I relate to him a bit (shitty mother, intrusive homicidal thoughts, neurodivergence). I def feel bad for him but hes still really guilty in my mind. I just think the whole killing for attention thing is a really dangerous mindset you can't just get out of, especially if you're being told you're not in the wrong. And it definitely seems like he doesn't actually feel bad for the girl he killed, just feels bad because people are mad at him for it. Idk. But I enjoy his dynamic with Muu a lot, even tho its toxic i just think its really interesting. But I wish him the best and he deserves a hug. His songs are mid tho (/hj i like them)
Yuno: I love her personality and I think shes so fun, but I honestly don't think about her a lot compared to the others. But I love her and specifically enjoy her dynamics with (obv mostly in fan content) Kazui, Mahiru and Fuuta. Her and Fuuta are such a good platonic ship (romantic is fun too). Innocent vote, obv. I like her songs, but Tear Drop moreso than Umbilical.
Fuuta: Oh my god I wonder what I think of him. In all seriousness he's a major hyperfixation of mine at like every given moment. I adore him and i think he deserves better and to be innocent. Like he feels so guilty for what he did and he didn't know any better, everyone around him was encouraging his behavior and praising him for it. But then it got too far and all his friends abandoned him and blamed him like. Poor fuuta :( and he's like 100% right when he says him and es are exactly the same. On another note, major fan of 0309 (romantically, but either way works), and also love his dynamic with Haruka, Yuno, Mahiru, Amane and Es. His songs are both in my top three (backdraft being #1)
Muu: Tied for my fav character(? Fuuta might beat her idk) I love her personality and vibe and everything just ❤️❤️ queen shit. And her queen bee design is gorgeous. Typically my favs are men but shes one of the first women ive hyperfixated on this much. Again, love her dynamic with Haruka, not from a like. healthy relationships could make the characters better standpoint, but from a story perspective its interesting. But yeah guilty. As for her songs, INMF is my #2 and i like After Pain
Shidou: Honestly I used to be kinda indifferent about him and just found him to be boring but then I rewatched his voice dramas and read some fics and I like him more now. I feel really bad for him bc he went through a really shitty situation which he felt he had the power to change and was stuck in a shitty moral dilemma bc of it. And in the end he did shitty things to save those he loved and it didn't even matter. He feels so guilty and doesn't deserve it. Innocent <3. Also romantic 0507 ftw (0506 is cool too). Him and Amane are silly too. As for his songs i like them, but they're not my fav
Mahiru: i like her, but im not too like. invested in her ig. But i feel bad for her :( she just wants to feel love and like. clearly she did something wrong but she didn't know she was. She never intended to hurt anyone. So innocent. Unless we find out she like. did something really fucking bad then maybe guilty. But in I Love You it implies it was a mutual toxicity so it probably wasn't something super terrible? But anyway. I love her with like all the characters cuz shes just so fun to see interact w others, but specifically with Yuno, Fuuta, Shidou, Amane and Mikoto.
Kazui: Hes so fun i love him. Like all he wants is to be honest and be himself but he feels pressured to lie and then finally he tells the truth and his wife fucking kills herself like- jeez- poor guy. Like following the gay theory, i get why she mightve done it (imagine being told the romance you built your entire life around for like 20 years was all a lie, and that your husband never actually loved you and just pretended to and every time you kissed or something he was just pretending like. that sucks poor hinako) but its so awful that he had to go thru that. But anyway innocent, kazui come out we accept you. And stan 0507. Song wise cat is easily #4 but. half is ok ig
Amane: Yknow i love amane but I also hate her and i think part of that might be the fandom? idk. I feel sorry for her bc she grew up in such a shitty situation but also i think shes beyond the point where we can uninstill those ideologies. Like shes 12, not 5. And amane says it herself that she has as much of a free will as everyone else and that her decision to kill/stay in this environment should be valued. Not that i think she should remain in this abusive situation, but she's not just some innocent kid whose being manipulated, she knows what she's doing. Hence, guilty. I don't think either vote will change her or anything so im voting with my honest opinion. As for dynamics, i love seeing her interact with all the other prisoners, but especially Shidou and Fuuta.
Mikoto: I love mikoto a lot but im so on the fence about his verdict. Ive been voting him innocent but theres still a part of me thats like. debating it. Bc he shouldn't have to be punished for John's actions, and it sucks that that's the situation hes in, but its that or more murders are left to occur. The main reason i say innocent is under the idea that John could go dormant or just stop fronting as much if we reduce mikoto's stress (like he says will happen i think). But hes so complex and fun i love mikoto. Specifically i love romantic 0309 but also his dynamic w the smoking group and mahiru. Also i love his songs.
Kotoko: I love her but also fuck her for hurting fuuta (and mahiru too but mainly fuuta). She annoys me bc she was so quick to almost murder several people based on a preliminary verdict that was made using little information. Like she knew this wasn't a concrete verdict, but attacked them anyway. I get her ideology of "kill people who evade justice to protect the weak" but only when they've actually done bad things (ie. the guy kidnapping the little girl). But when she doesn't know what they did and knows the person accusing them doesn't either???? Like bruh. But i like her character shes fun. I like seeing how she interacts with es and everyone she attacked. And songs, harrow is okay and i really like deep cover.
Whew im done.

Many asks for the character ask game-
Kotoko 2, 3, 6, 8, 12
Amane 1, 8, 20, 25
Muu 1, 3, 7, 8, 12
Yuno 4, 8, 14, 20, 25
You don’t have to answer all of them because there are a lot 😂
-Favourite canon thing about this character?
Just one? Oh this is difficult. I'm not sure if I can choose an absolute favourite canon thing but I like how she has so much jewellery. Her rings and earrings are so cool!
-Least favourite canon thing about this character?
Probably the fact that she likes to give non-answers in the QnA’s like I think it makes sense for her character and is a good writing choice. It's just also kinda annoying because I want to know more about her!
-What's something you have in common with this character? A couple things but to keep my answer brief I really relate to how kotoko feels in Harrow around justice. I’ve had a very similar feelings when I started to be become more aware of social injustice even wanted to be a lawyered to try and do something about it so even though I never went anywhere near as far as kotoko did and I’ve come to view things less as bad people use the system to do bad things to weaker people and more as our current social climate/systems create an environment that creates people that then go on to maintain the toxic cycles I still relate a lot to her feelings.
-What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise? I get the two rapist Kotoko fanfics are low hanging fruit but I despise them with every fiber of my being just knowing what the second one is and that it exists makes me die a little inside.
What's a headcanon you have for this character?
I strongly head canon her as being on the ace spectrum :>
Why do you like or dislike this character? I love how layered Amanes symbolism is. I think her MV’s are some of the best when it comes to visuals that’ll drive you insane once you start really thinking about them. I feel like I always notice something new on a rewatch but I also think the reason I’m so attached to Amane is because she’s a character that have thought about a lot due to when I joined the fandom purge march was my first mv and I was around for pretty much all of Amane’s voting so there was a lot of Amane discussion when I first joined the fandom and my friends are all fans of her so any Milgram discussion quickly turned to her so I think she’s one of the first characters I really dug into the layers of because of that.
She’s also silly
What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise? This is less of a problem in the fandom now but the whole “we need to punish her so she won’t hurt shidou” or “we need to punish her and then she’ll leave the cult” because one that's not how cults work if you punish her your just giving her more reason to cling onto her region and proving the cult right but it's also just a mindset around children I see often and it kinda disgusts me that they should be punished or that punishment is the only option and if they aren’t punished how will they learn things are bad.
Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
The ideal best friend? A good night's sleep. Have you seen her eye bags?
But on a more serious note even though with the latest minigram I’ve been thinking more about Kotoko Amane and even though Fuuta’s and Amane’s relationship is certainly not going to be healthy in t3 I’m going to say them. I think their friendship is cute and I want them to be besties!
What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
I didn’t watch purge with the English sub’s on the first time so I was like oh what a cool custom design look how happy she is then as it went on-oh -OH
OH SHE’S A LITTLE FUCKED UP ACTUALLY.
Now I think Amane is an incredibly layered character and an especially well written child character. She's great. I love her. I hope she ends up alright in the end!
Why do you like or dislike this character? I love her design SO MUCH!  but I think what I like about her the most is her relationship with her self image. I’ve seen a few people bring this up that muu portrays herself as a bug in it’s not my fault but portrays other like Rei as a human and this really really fascinates me because it shows us that Muu on some level idealize rei and villainesses/dehumanizes herself.
Least favorite canon thing about this character? Her Crow symbolism doesn't show up in T2 :( it wouldn’t fit but it still makes me sad.
What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like? I love how people draw her bug design! It's so cool to see how different people stylise it! Pretty everyone has a unique take on it even if it's just they simplify it down.
What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise? Something I love about milgram is how an mv will show you one side of the character and then different side in another and then when you put them together it gives up a better look of the character but people forget to do this with muu and just act like its not my fault is canon and like after pain doesn’t exist or was all a lie but no your supposed to look at them together! I think this is what leads to such simplified portrayals of muu people not taking into account her prior characterisation. This is also a problem I have with how the fandom treats harrow and deep cover.
What's a headcanon you have for this character?
Les-bee-ain
If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
Okay a big part of me wants to say Persona because I think her character would be super interesting in that world with how she views herself and other people and her mental health but a another part knows the person writers would not treat her well and they would probably just ruin her if ann and rise are anything to go off :( I’d like to think she’d be a navigator or a wild card.
What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
My beef is more with the fandom in my local area than Milgramblr or the greater online fandom. Whenever I hear discussion of yuno she’s also simplified to girl boss and yes she is girl boss but also girl failure , girl hypocrite, girl self destructive coping mechanism , girl out of water , girl who needs a hug and so on I feel like people simplify her down too much because of her crime :(
Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.
I don’t know alot about Lolita but that's the best fit I can think of. I don’t know fashion aesthetic :’)
Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter? Yuno and Muu's friendship fascinates me but mappi and yuno’s friendship is so sweet so I gotta say them.
What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
Oh this mv is so pretty! I love her so much! I can’t wait to learn more about her- oh…abortion….
It took me a long time to come around on Yuno because I was too distracted by her crime to see her interesting character depths. I love her now but I don’t consider myself a Yuno scholar. She’s one of my fav’s to draw!
No! No! thank you for sending in alot! :>

Hewwo fellow Haruka apologist/stan :)
I wanna ask the expert themself, what do you think about the headcanon that Haruka's parents (or his mom at least) is into taxidermy? There's a shit ton of taxidermy in his second t2, but also in a translation of AKAA lyrics (a more 'accurate' one, rather than the eng sub that's provided) instead of "I will keep killing to be a good boy" it's "Rather than taking something away, it's better to give". What if Haruka was killing animals to 'help' his mother with taxidermy? In his own sick and twisted way of getting her attention. And, let's not forget the famous scene where he's standing on top of the chair surrounded by the dead animal corpses, he's says "Mommy, look, aren't I amazing?". Sick, yeah. But what if he's presenting his 'gifts' to his mother, who's into taxidermy?
And the orange/amber liquid that everyone thinks is honey in reference to Muu? Someone in the comments said it could be formaldehyde, which is used for taxidermy. Just another thing that caught my attention
I thought about this way too much, but it's a just silly lil hc of mine
Hi hello!! Thank you for sending me this ask (and so sorry I replied so late!) I'm always happy to meet & discuss with fellow Haruka enjoyers :3c
I completely agree with that headcanon (in fact I don't think the orange liquid in AKAA resembles honey at all except for the color--the consistency seems closer to that of formaldehyde, and it makes more sense with the sequence of events that it'd be formaldehyde), I think Haruka's mom was a taxidermist or at least into something biology related, hobbyist or professional, so Haruka was exposed to a lot of things involving animals and taxidermy throughout his life. I assumed this is at least part of the reason why he dislikes animals--they remind him of his mom, when he was still somewhat loved by her, I imagine she'd tell or show him some details of her work/hobby, so he learned a lot about animals & taxidermy from her.
If I'm being honest, when I first watched AKAA it didn't occur to me at all that Haruka killed the animals, I interpreted that as a metaphor or symbolism (but I won't talk about that here because it'll be too long and it involves Weakness haha), so seeing most of the fandom interpret it literally (I guess because of his VD but I didn't take the VD at face value either) surprised me and I spent a while thinking of why Haruka would do something like that, and the perspective you offered really makes sense!! In my interpretation wouldn't call it sick or twisted as much as it is Haruka "accepting" that he is what his mom painted him to be, in his mind--someone whose only talent is bringing bad things, so he took to killing the animals in an attempt to utilize his "evil self's only ability" to do something his mom would hopefully approve of. It kinda reminds me of Tendou Satori from Haikyuu, who embraced the label "guess monster" because he was so used to being treated as a monster, so he embraced that he's weird and unlikable in a way that can make him still a good player but also true to himself. (I hope I remember correctly I haven't watched Haikyuu in like 2 years but Tendou is very dear to me) Except in Haruka's case it is way more fucked up lol.
Also gotta thank whoever retranslated AKAA more accurately--I noticed this theme with the innocent prisoners being painted in a purposefully bad light in T2 so we could vote them guilty, and the other way around as well, the guilty from T1 being painted as miserable and actually not that bad, yk. There's really nothing in MILGRAM that should be taken at face value imo.
And worry not I also thought about this an unimaginable amount, it's been on my mind the whole week actually, but I'm trying to articulate my thoughts into a coherent post lfhksdsl

To continue Fuutaposting for a while I've been thinking about his parallels with Muu since the two seem to be really different. I'm still not really sure where my brain is going with this but I do like this little detail in Backdraft.
Me, the result of blame-shifting, no, can’t find that funny With just one mistake and I’m out of chances Bless me, please, with one more chance It’s not even my fault, not even slightly
Oh It's Not Your Fault Fuuta?
Actually I was thinking about it and Backdraft reminds me a lot of After Pain in some respects.
In the same verse we have this part:
Me, the result of blame-shifting, no, can’t find that funny With just one mistake and I’m out of chances
And these two parts in Backdraft:
Burn, burn? Be still that FIRE of LIES, I don’t want any more Burn, burn? Tears aren’t enough, no way no how it’s going to end It’s so hot, so hard to breathe, there’s no solace for my heart
Why are the others INNOCENT? I won’t forgive, won’t forgive This prison hosts ears and lethal eyes, I’m sick of it You and you, throwing around rules for fun, hoisting up morality and feeling good Should I succumb, make your wish come true? Full of yourselves, are you?
Which reminds me of these lines in After Pain
“I’m sorry” won’t reach anyone (I hope it will someday) “I’m sorry” won’t reach anyone
Why won’t you stop hurt-hurt-hurting me? My heart is all dried up My sorry spells must be wearing off
If you’re going to make me the villain It’s ok to ignore me If it’s endurance, I’m used to it. It’s just having another taste of it
Their phrased differently (and Fuuta's lines are more aggressive and confrontational) but they have very similar base ideas.
Apologizes that won't reach people/second chances that won't be given.
Pain that won't stop even though you r heart is drying up/Pain that won't stop even if your sick of it.
And the changing of who is the "Hero" and "Villain." If were going back to Bring it On for a quick second, it's lyrics is very "Fuck you I'm right!" song. Heroes assemble! We must find the Hypocrites and Devils hidden amongst us!
While It's Not My Fault is a very "I was right, none of this is my fault!" song. All the things I did were justified actually! I was right for hurting you!
Their progression is kind of reversed and I think that's really interesting.

🎬: About Es being a past prisoner and the secret 11th prisoner in your AU. But advance apologies if I'm overstepping into your AU!
I had this idea from a story that pretty much did the same thing. Going off there are novels/manga on Milgram and there being another Es and their own prisoners running another Milgram (but differently) I imagine this Milgram projects has been going on for a while, and our Es was from a previous project who might have gotten the worst verdict (or the most spared out of everyone), and was given this final task as a warden for the next group of prisoners. This is why they so readily agreed and had their memories wiped for this Milgram project instead of being weary on a shady project on judging an almost crime, they've already been through this.
(BTW is it bad and worrying for one of our ten fav prisoners to be the next Es if this is legit...)
Anyway, that's why Es is in Milgram in your AU, I guess? And the lore drop that Kotoko picks up on them being the 11th prisoner, I can imagine her also talking to Kazui since he's a policeman to see if she could cross out any theories on who Es is (Did they look familiar. Possible missing child. Any cases to do with an almost crime by a child other than the 10 of them here). Kazui knows Kotoko wants to investigate, but reminds her that, like in their prison while the trial is on, the facilities they're in have high security too. They do have the freedom to move about, but still limited.
If they're trying to investigate Es, maybe Fuuta, Kotoko and Mikoto can try to do the hacking on the comp Mikoto's allowed to use to Photoshop some shots for the MVs and photos (Fuuta and Kotoko seem to be able to search up info they need I think...). Yuno, Mahiru and Muu can work on charming the staff to see if they can spill more deets on Milgram. Not sure how much the group can gather, but oh boy fun times in Milgram can turn into another sort of stress in this AU...
No worries!! Like I said before, this whole au has been a fun collaborative project, so there's no overstepping :) I am sorry I won't be writing a lot on the ending until we get more info, but that's just the perfectionist in me who doesn't want to be proven wrong 😅 Still, I love tossing around and digging into ending scenarios, I really love this!
Because that would make a lot of sense why they're so willing to subject themself to the whole experiment! They remember how tough their experience was, and are confident they can care for the new set of prisoners while doing their job. I'm imagining they get the opportunity to return as guard, and get to have a nice talk with their own guard first. Once they fully understand what it's like, they're know they can handle it and sign up. It adds a bit of drama, too, since they must have been really young committing their crime in order to complete a years-long experiment prior to this one. They would have been like 10? Oof. (Now I wanna see their three trial songs 👀)
And like you said, that also brings up the question of the new warden. Though I think it's based on verdict results, I can just picture Jackalope keeping an eye on everyone during filming. He studyies their interactions and personalities, keeping his own set of notes on who would make a good successor. (I'm not going to go through every character but there are pros to any choice, it's very fun picturing them all taking the job.) Haha, on the other hand, maybe the reason Kotoko keeps bringing up her role as Es' partner/bringer of justice is because she did discover the truth. She drops as many hints as possible so she can be chosen next 😅
Ooh, I love her working with Kazui on an investigation! The fact that eh may know details on recent crimes (and almost-crimes) is super fun to work with. He's the last person who's going to spill a secret, so the group could go several trials without realizing Kazui had actually heard all about their situation this whole time.
(Getting sidetrack for a sec, I'm suddenly realizing that he and Kotoko may have heard things about the crimes in canon, too. They're a bit unclear about how much time passed between the murders and arriving to Milgram, so maybe he heard some things. I don't know how well-connected Tokyo police departments are, but Yuno, Fuuta, Muu, and Shidou are all nearby. There's definitely a chance he caught word of the vigilante nearby, and she heard about the odd policeman's suicide. Both of them could have heard about the tragic housefire, the disgraced doctor, or horrible schoolgirl murder nearby.)
Anyway, I like that idea of Kazui wracking his brain for any similar cases. Though, if he had, Milgram may have had the foresight to wipe parts of his memory, too. Maybe he does end up using his call to reach out to Hinako and have her look into it from the outside. Sadly, Kotoko seems the type to sacrifice her personal call to reach out to a connection who can help as well. I'll have to think about how closely Jackalope monitors those calls, hm.
I'm going crazy over prisoner investigation team !! Kotoko and Fuuta had the online knowledge to find some good info, and Mikoto and Kazui seem like they'd have a huge network of people they can ask for info and favors from. Haha, I'm torn whether Mahiru would have flirting down to a science or if she'd refuse to do it since it wasn't real love 😂 Still, she's very good at reading people and could definitely help the others charm and bribe their way into some restricted areas. Amane and Haruka can also charm with their innocence/cuteness (though I'm not sure Amane would). Shidou seems very organized, he'd have a plan and backup plan and backup-backup plan ready, no matter what happens. I think it's even funnier, then if Milgram had run several experiments prior. Jackalope would think this was just another runthrough, and for the first time the ten subjects decided to organize together and Cause Problems.
I think there's a beautiful irony in a story featuring ten prisoners planning a jailbreak to save the prison guard...

Honeymoon Knight / Chapter 15 - The Ideal Wedding Outfit
Prev | All | Next
Tumblr media
Miyaji: "Hmm... I'm sorry, my lord. We ended up talking for so long..."
> "I'm glad to hear it” > “I had fun listening”
Miyaji: "I see. I'm glad to hear that."
Lato: "Fufu… There is one last thing I would like to add..."
> “Lato…?” > "Hm?"
Lato: "Flure, after the contest... You have changed a bit, haven't you?"
Flure: “H-have I? What's changed?"
Lato: "I don't think I'm mistaken. I sense more confidence in you now. How can I put it... You've become cooler.”
Flure: "R-really...? Th-that aside... I didn't expect the word 'cool' to come out of Lato's mouth."
Lato: "Oh? Was it inappropriate…? The lord also said earlier that you were 'incredibly cool’. I thought it was right..."
Flure: "Th-that's not what I meant. I just didn't think Lato would say it normally."
Miyaji: "I think I know what Lato's saying. From my point of view... Flure, I think you have grown through the contest and your outfit-making skills have improved. I have the impression that you're more refined than before. Hmm... It may sound strange to compare it to when I first met you, but.... You definitely look more reliable than you used to."
> "I've been feeling like you're more reliable lately, too"
Flure: "R-really? I am... Reliable. I'm glad to hear it, my lord. I will continue to work as an outfit designer... And make nice clothes for everyone!"
> "Looking forward to it, Flure"
Flure: "Yes, leave it to me! Because I have a lot of outfits I want to make for my lord!"
Lato: "Is it... Wedding outfit?"
> “What?"
Flure: "Wa-wait, Lato!? What are you talking about all of a sudden!?"
Lato: "Oh, is that not it? We discussed this the other day, didn't we?"
> "The other day?"
Miyaji: "Actually, after the contest… Someone asked Flure to make a wedding dress."
> "Is that right, Flure?"
Flure: "Yes, that's right. I said I couldn't make it with my job as a butler... So I refused..."
> "I see"
Lato: "But at that time, Flure... looked very disappointed."
Flure: "Well... It's not everyday you get to make wedding outfits. I can't say I'm not interested... But...! Can we not talk about this anymore? Let's get off the subject of wedding outfits.“
Muu: "Oh, right!"
> "What's wrong, Muu?"
Muu: "My lord. Why don't you ask everyone in the basement about their ‘ideal wedding outfit’?"
Flure: "I-ideal wedding outfit? You mean the clothes you would wear for your own wedding?"
Miyaji: "That's a bit sudden, isn't it... Why did you decide to ask?"
Muu: "Actually, I've heard many stories about marriage from the other butlers! The butler on the 3rd floor told me about their 'ideal honeymoons'... The butler on the 2nd floor told me about ‘wedding bouquets’, and the butler at the villa told me about their ‘views on marriage’!"
Miyaji: "Hmm, in short... Just like last year when you were asking around about our views on marriage... This year, are you collecting stories related to marriages?"
> "Not really collecting, though..."
Lato: "Kufufu, I see... I understand. My 'ideal wedding outfit'... If my lord wants to hear it, I will tell you."
Flure: "What? Lato, you have your ideal wedding outfit in mind?"
Lato: "Yes, I do. Would you like to hear it? Then... Please speak first, Flure."
Flure: "What? M-me first?"
> "I'd like to hear it, Flure"
Flure: "E-even the lord… …I understand. If the lord says so, I will speak.”
Thus, I had them telling me about their 'ideal wedding outfit'.
Flure: “Err... First of all, let me say... I don't have a concrete image of my 'ideal wedding outfit'... I don't have anything in mind yet."
Lato: "Oh? Quite surprising, isn't it? I thought you had already decided on a detailed design."
> "Yes, it's unexpected...."
Flure: "Because wedding outfits... are meant to be worn in pairs... So... I'd like to get my partner's opinion for the specific details."
> "I see"
Flure: "I think a wedding is something that is made by two people... No matter how much I like making clothes... I don't want to force my ideas on my partner."
> “That's so sweet of you, Flure"
Flure: "Thank you for the compliment, my lord. Marriage is about spending a lot of time together. I think it's important to give proper respect to them. So.... I don't know if this is good enough as my answer, but.... My ideal wedding clothes would be 'what they want to wear'."
> "I think it's lovely"
Flure: "Thank you. I am glad to hear you say so, my lord."
Miyaji: "Yeah... The lord is right. It was a great story, showing compassion for your partner."
Lato: "Kufufu... Flure is very kind, after all. Now, for the next one... Prof. Miyaji, please."
Miyaji: "Oh, me?"
> "Tell us, Miyaji.”
Miyaji: "Understood. I don't think it'll be anything significant, but if it's okay with you, I'll talk about my 'ideal wedding outfit.' When it comes to the design... Like Flure, I want to respect my partner's opinion. However, there's one thing I won't compromise on."
> "Something you won't compromise on?"
Miyaji: "Yeah... Well, that would be... having Flure make it."
Flure: "Huh? You'd like me to make it?"
Miyaji: "Yeah, that's right. The outfit for my beloved partner... I want it made by my dear comrade. The partner wearing the wedding outfit made by Flure... will surely be the most enchanting in the world."
Flure: "Prof. Miyaji... Thank you! I'll make the best wedding dress!"
Miyaji: "Thank you, Flure."
Flure: "By the way, Prof. Miyaji, you mentioned respecting your partner's opinion, but... are there no requests from your side?"
Miyaji: "Hmm... well... if I have to say... I prefer my clothes not to stand out too much."
> "Even though it's your wedding?"
Miyaji: "Yeah, to be honest... I don't want too much attention.”
> “I see”
Miyaji: “That's in my nature... or you could say, my philosophy. Let my partner be the center of attention; I'm fine with that. I just want to be the one quietly supporting."
> “Miyaji..."
Miyaji: "This applies not only to the wedding, but also to our life together. In the story of our time together, the protagonist should always be my partner. I think I'm fine in being there to quietly support them."
> "Really?"
Miyaji: "Saying this might make it sound like excessive self-sacrifice, but it's not that. I've lived long enough. I don't have strong desires about how I want things for myself or expecting certain things from others. I find happiness in what brings joy to my partner… Oops, we were talking about the ideal wedding outfit, but I got a bit sidetracked. I apologize for rambling on."
> "Thank you for sharing"
Miyaji: "No, thank you for listening, my lord."
Lato: "It's a wonderful and fitting thought, Prof. Miyaji."
Miyaji: "Lato… Thank you."
Lato: "Kufufu... speaking of which, it seems Prof. Miyaji's ideal also involves ‘clothes made by Flure’."
Flure: "Wait? Did you just say 'Prof. Miyaji also’?"
Lato: "Yes, I did. Because, my ‘ideal wedding outfit’ is also... the clothes made by Flure."
Flure: "Y-you too, Lato?"
> "You're quite popular, Flure"
Flure: "Um… yes, I guess…?"
Lato: "Oh? You seem puzzled, Flure. The outfit for my dear partner... I want my precious little brother to make it. It's only natural as an older brother, right? My little brother, taking into account my partner's opinions... will surely create a splendid outfit…"
Flure: "Well... of course, I don't mind… But do you really not have any ideas for your own wedding outfits, Lato?"
Lato: "Well... I do have. However... I won't say it because my partner wouldn't accept it."
Flure: "Hmm... that makes me curious..."
> "Can you share with us?"
Lato: "Hmm... if the lord insists, I can't refuse. My ideal for the wedding outfit is... not about design or appearance. I want to leave it entirely to my partner and Flure."
> "Huh? Is that so?"
Lato: "My request is about the wedding outfit's handling."
Flure: " ‘Handling’? What do you mean?"
Lato: "After my partner wears the wedding outfit at our wedding ceremony... I want it to be buried without a trace under my supervision."
Flure: "B-buried? W-why?"
Lato: "No matter how beautiful the wedding outfit is... I only want my dear partner to wear it once... If the wedding outfit remains... it means they can wear it again."
Flure: "So, you're saying, you'll ruin the outfit I made?"
Lato: "Yes, that's right. However, I intend to collect the torn fabric properly."
Flure: "Sigh... Prof. Miyaji, Lato is saying strange things again."
Miyaji: "Hmm... Well, we can't deny it if that's Lato's wish."
> "In a way, it's very much like Lato?"
Lato: "Kufufu... Thank you for your compliment."
Flure: "I don't think anyone complimented you, though..."
Muu: "A-anyway...! I had fun listening to everyone's stories!"
Flure: "It was fun, but... um..."
Miyaji: "Oh... Flure, what's wrong?"
Flure: "Well, it's just... listening to everyone's stories... I really want to make wedding outfits now. And I feel like seeing various wedding dresses for reference… Tisailles is a fashion city, and there are shops that deal with wedding dresses."
> “I also wanna see those” > "That might be interesting."
Miyaji: "Hmm... I see. In that case, how about we go to a shop that deals with wedding dresses right now? I remember there being a specialized shop on the other street."
> "Flure, want to go check it out?"
Flure: "Yes! Let's go together, my lord!"
And so, guided by Miyaji, we headed towards a shop that specializes in wedding dresses.
