We are having a rough 2023 and it's about to get rougher.
Our attempt to buy a home fell through, our attempt to move to a cheaper apartment fell through, my car needed over 1k$ in emergency repairs, stuff keeps breaking, and this month (july) our roommates are moving into their own house, which means my rent is doubled until my fiancée can find a job and/or we can get a roommate to replace them. I can make just barely enough to cover rent at my job, but it leaves very little room for food and utilities. I'm looking into subsistence programs.
Roommates were the owners of a lot of the furniture, kitchen gadgets, electronics, etc. We're getting a lot of furniture from relatives, garage sales, and buy nothing groups, but there's a handful of items that will be difficult to obtain or that are little things that add up.
Here's how you can help.
We have an Amazon wishlist, which is mostly kitchen things that we need, plus a few things that would be nice to have. We will be adding some things to the list as our roommates pack their stuff and we take inventory of our shared spaces.
I have written a lot of things. Here's a book about pretending to be a god in rural Appalachia for money, and its sequel about how many ways a wedding can go awry. Or are you nostalgic for pre-covid problems? The Glue Famine chronicles my journey through a retail trend that baffled everyone involved. Buying a book encourages authors to write more books and that is a threat!
I have two excellent cartomancy decks. The Sweeney Tarot is 10 years old and it's still a fan favorite. I just released a 10 year anniversary edition with better quality print and a nicer box.
There is also my new, experimental oracle: The Motif Deck. You can read more about this deck and what sets it apart from other decks here.
Here is my etsy, which is where you can get some cool iron on patches.
Here is my redbubble where you can get some cool stickers and other stuff, especially if you like moths or weird animals. Lots of queer things there, too! Redbubble stickers are strong enough to hold up as bumper stickers- I have noticed, if that sweetens the deal.
Here's where you can order prints of my erasure art paintings.
Also if you like some of my photos from @photo-critter some of the nature and animal ones are available for prints as well.
And if you just want to help out without getting anything in return, there is always sending a donation via Kofi.
There is absolutely no obligation to contribute, but if you've enjoyed my stories or seen something you like and needed an excuse to buy it, or if you just want to help, really we appreciate anything that comes our way.
Thank you, once again, to everyone that has offered to help. Even if its just the tiniest bit of a commission from a sticker- it helps.

The Ace of swords -  overanalyzing tarot pt 1
the the suit of swords in tarot entails the exploration of the mind; the different ways we engage with ideas, concepts, principals and the different ways we go about communicating thoughts to other people. naturally we should begin with the ace of swords.
Tumblr media
One of my fav books on tarot which actually happens to be a guidebook to its corresponding tarot deck, Tarot Apokalypsis, written by Erik C. Dunne and Kim Huggens, had this to say about the ace of swords:
‘‘What must come before word, what must come before thought? What must become before memory? what cannot be seen, yet must come before seeing? I am speech, but i am silent I am spoken of yet I am ineffable. I am the most basic principal necessary for the step from nothing, to choas to something.’‘
The ace of swords is the abstract coming in the form of a thought, its takes the messy, fragmented parts of an idea and gives it the structure to be formed into an idea. Results from a 2020 study showed that people may have 6,000 thoughts per day, yet not all of those thoughts are given meaning. Not all of them get the chance to develop into something, but the ones that do form the basis of a belief.
The ace of swords represents the thoughts we give power to over others. the crown the ace of swords is often paired with throughout different decks is supposed to signify victory, but in this context it represents the status we give thoughts as opposed to the 6,000 other thoughts that pass through our mind a day.
Divinatory meaning- upright and reversed
reflect on the thoughts you give power to every day. what ideas and thoughts do you give meaning, and how does the meaning you attach to these thoughts impact you. how do your fleeting thoughts form the basis of a belief? this card appears when you’re starting to understand something for the first time, when you’re building the foundational knowledge to understand a larger concept or idea.
in reversed, it gives me the impression of failing to understand the thoughts that pass you by or lacking the foundational knowledge of a concept or skill. it denotes that you’re needing to get back to basics of something and ensuring understanding of it before continuing.
The ace of swords as a unifying principal
tarot of apokalpysis attaches the ace of swords to the idea of cosmology and how we individually understand how the world came to be. it says;
‘’this assumption of cosmic order is necessary for further assumptions to be made, and its upon this foundation that we build everything else. This refers not only to religion or myth, science to too must build its own cosmology, (or more appropriately, a paradigm) within which is may refer to the laws it has set and decide upon the questions it wants to answer ’’
The ace of swords being connected to this idea of a cosmology or paradigm gives it a more sophisticated interpretation, allowing us to understand the cards that follow the ace of swords. For example, if the ace of swords is a paradigm that sets the basis for understanding a larger topic, then the two of swords is differentiating between ideas and comparing different paradigms to one another. allowing them to compete for accuracy.
The big bang theory is an example of a paradigm, it allows us to understand how the world came to be. The creation story told in genesis, the norse myth and saga of creation, these are all ways in which people form their basis of understanding of the world and our purpose in it.
The ace of swords could be the assumptions we have that allow other assumptions to be made on top of that, forming a foundation for an opinion or paradigm. It’s the pre-requisite understanding of a concept, for example, to understand algebra you would have to understand multiplication, division, adding etc. To understand chemistry you have to understand an atom, its qualities and the various forms matter takes.
Ace of swords paired with other cards
The ace of swords is a hypothesis in early stages, not yet tested or verified. if the ace of swords becomes paired with the ten of swords, its a hypothesis thats been prematurely dismissed or falsified before it had the chance to grow.
if paired with the 7 of swords, its a person selectively taking what they feel is true about an idea or paradigm, and leaving what contradicts their ideas, instead of adopting and integrating the whole idea to fit the truth. for example, Christians using the bible only when it fits their worldview, not when it contradicts it.
when paired with the tower, its an idea that disrupts an existing structure or assumption. Think Kepler revolutionizing how we understand the planets orbit around the sun, developing the three laws of planetary motion.
Astrology of the ace of swords
the ace of swords refers to gemini, libra and aquarius. All three signs interact with the development and communication of ideas in interesting ways. All three signs are constantly thinking, analyzing, comparing ideas, and creating new ones. Aquarius is innovative and wants to disrupt models of how we think, gemini allows space for several ideas to exist at once, and libra wants to be able to choose between ideas without hurting anyones feelings.

Build Up, eps 1-2: General Pre-4 Wrap
I hope you're enjoying my Build Up recaps!
This post is just my last few thoughts on the Pre-4 mission, including:
Best Sweater Award
My ranking of the performances
Some general thoughts on the show so far
Let's go!
Favorite Sweater Award
Ok, first things first: my favorite sweater. Here are the top 4 candidates:
Tumblr media
Geonu’s see-through layering affair
Tumblr media
Hong Sungwon’s ombre blue frayed number
Tumblr media
Woong’s fuzzy argyle delight
Tumblr media
Bitsaeon’s shaggy, swaggy stripes
I thought long and hard about this, my beloved dongsaengs. I cast the runes, I did a draw on my tarot deck, I asked the crows, but in the end it was all my heart speaking to me and saying that the winner is…
Hong Sungwon! I just thought that I genuinely want to wear this sweater, like every day, so it wins.
Will Sungwon please come up to accept your award?
Tumblr media
“Wow, I never thought I’d win Best Sweater. Honestly, I didn’t even know this award would be given out! But um, I guess I’ll thank the ajuma at the clothing shop who told me I looked nice in blue, and I’d like to thank my roommate who told me this sweater went with these pants. And um, yeah! Thanks! This one is for you, God!” -- Sungwon, probably
My Performance Ranking
Next, I thought I’d list my personal opinion on the song performances, in rough order. Please note, my preferences are based at least partly on the song itself so this isn’t necessarily me saying I hate your favorite singer. I can’t help but prefer “If You” to most of the others because it’s easily my favorite song among the ten. The fact that “Don’t Go” is ranked so high is a testament to the singing that overcomes the song.
I’m also including the number of views on their “full version” youtube recording, out of interest. View counts marked with a star (*) were up for three weeks when I posted this, giving them a bit of a headstart on the others, which were only up for two weeks.
I think it’s pretty interesting that my top two faves also seem to be the internet’s top two faves!
Top tier:  If You 161k views* Don’t Go 203k views*
Middle tier (in rough order):  Sum/Breath  37k views Decalcomanie 31k views Ditto 75k views  Every Moment of You  66k views*  Tomboy 75k views  Beautiful 47k views
Low tier:  Something Like That, 35k views  Shall I love you again?, 49k views
Final Thoughts
Overall, these were 10 great performances, and I'm really enjoying this show. It's like, MNET lite -- much fewer reactions and instant replays, much less crying, much better singing. I wish there'd been a bit more variety in the song choices, but I guess if I were a fan of k-ballads, these songs would have felt quite distinct to me.
I hope that my nit-picking critique doesn't "yuck" anyone's "yum." Vocal quality is so idiosyncratic that it's hard to objectively say that one voice is "better" than another. That's like saying that home-made lasagna is better than Chicken McNuggets. Is it? I mean, it depends on what you like, right?
Also, even though I nitpick the voices, I do think that everyone on this show is here for a reason. This isn’t like Produce48 where a decent percentage of the girls literally could not sing. At all. Even a little. Couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket. No, these guys can all sing and they all have something to recommend them, so if your favorite is my least favorite, I salute your good taste because I probably also like your favorite. I like all these guys.
So, I'm going to keep going with these recaps. I might be a bit behind throughout because work is picking up, and my health isn't great, so please be understanding of any typos or little mistakes you might see. I just may not have time to proof-read these as well as I'd like to.
Thanks for your patience, thanks for reading, thanks for being a weirdo with me. Let's walk down that flower road to the end of the show! Kkeutkkaji!
Tumblr media
See you in the next one!

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔽𝕠𝕠𝕝
The card about starting new adventures. The Fool is a message about allowing yourself to dream big. With childlike naivety, it's time to live and love out loud. You can trust that the world will catch you, should you choose to take the leap of faith.
When designing this card, and the ones to come, I didn't want to stray too far from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. I wanted it to be like reuniting with an old friend: familiar and comfortable, but still different and exciting.
Here's what you can look forward to with the release of The Fool! ◦ Tip tier members will get an early release of the matte edition tarot card. Public release TBD. ◦ Premium tier members will get an exclusive holographic edition tarot card. ◦ I have also ordered sample keychains to generate interest, and if they do well, pre-orders will open for them. I'll have three at first and after I get some photoshoots in I will be keeping one and doing a giveaway with the other two! More info on that to come.
The finished products are expected to arrive sometime in September. I'll get y'all a specific date once I get tracking. And as always, thank you for your support and for believing in me and my work ♥

Hi Kleo! Happy new year! 🥰🥂
I have a technical question for you 👀
So, a close friend gave me a tarot deck. This was her first deck, a traditional Rider-Waite, and she told me to use it to learn the card meanings and familiarise myself with handling a deck.
So, I wanted to ask, considering this is a pre-owned deck, should I use it to practice? If so, what should I do before using it? "Cleansing" is the first thing that comes to mind, but how should I do that?
Thank you so much in advance, I can't wait to start practicing 👏🏻
Hello!
Pre-used decks are perfectly fine to use, many decks can be passed in family so this is alright.
Honestly, every cleansing or ritual is voluntary. If you feel like you should do it, do it. There are several methods how to cleanse deck.
You can simply shuffle it or put the cards in right order (like starting with 0 The Fool, continue with I, II, III, IV, etc, then sorting the minor arcana suits from Aces to Tens and from Pages to King) and then shuffle again.
You can burn an incense stick or scented candle while doing so.
You can blow at the deck (blowing away old energies) and knock on it 3 times (I don't remember what this is supposed to do, sorry).
You can put a crystal (usually clear quartz) on your deck to cleanse and charge it.
You can make a circle around it with salt (kitchen salt is enough).
You can have it cleansed by moonlight or sunlight if you leave it on the window for a while.
You pray over the deck, wishing for it to shad the old energies and bind with you.
There are hundreds of methods, to be honest.
The important thing is, to believe in the effectivity. So if some method sounds ridiculous to you and you still do it, it's not very likely to work because this whole thing stands and falls with the belief.
Personally, when I get a new deck, I go through the cards, I shuffle the deck properly while talking to it and introducing it to its new owner (me) and then I do an interview with the deck when I ask it:
What's your general vibe?
What kind of reading do you like the best?
How can we collaborate the best?
What do you think about me as a tarot reader?
What is a first message you have for me?
Fun fact: One of my recent decks gave me a Devil card for #4 😂 We had so much fun ever since, though. 😁
That's my way but, really, do what you feel fit. You can meditate and visualize cleansing the deck while holding it in your hands. You can cleanse it with music or dance. You can do literally anything, as long as you have the cleansing intention and you believe the activity will help the deck to get rid off the old energies and even an old bond with the previous owner so it can build a bond with you.
I wish you all the best for you and your deck. Remember that tarot is personal thing. Nobody can tell you what you should or shouldn't do. You have every right to explore and find your own path, no matter how unorthdox it might seem. 😊
And whenever you want to talk to a very benevolent and liberal tarot reader, I'm here for you. For chit chat, for advise, for brainstorming, practice, anything. 💖
I hope I helped a tiny bit even when I'm not an expert on spiritual cleansing. 🤭

When you finish your dog tarot deck, would you consider producing and selling actual cards? I’d honestly pay a lot for a deck like that. P.S. need a Doberman and a German shepherd in that deck somewhere. Regal dogs for regal cards
I would love to sell a full deck! Unfortunately they seem pretty expensive to produce, so id have to do a kickstarter or a pre-order situation, and the decks would be pretty pricey if i want to make a profit :(
I am also planning on taking a little break between the major and minor arcana. I want to do all 78 cards but god knows i am not great at following through on projects. If there is a market for just the major arcana ill try to make them available regardless
(I did a doberman for the Tower and am definetly planning on adding a gsd ;) )

Mini Comicon wrap up
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU! To people who bought from me! Honestly, it's that that motivates me to keep going so thank you! (Also note, these are CAD$Prices)
✨️Hopefully✨️this year is the year I do a bit of soul-searching & dig into my brand more but don't worry, I'm too much of a geek to make a full stop of my fandom train any time soon.
Speaking of which... Unfortunately, our water heater broke this weekend so, ordering a restock on the Persona 5 Tarot decks will have to wait as I chuck all I earned this weekend into that.
I have 6 decks left so if you wanted to buy it, do it now. The restock might take over 1 to 2 months but I will open up pre-orders to cover people who want to have the deck ASAP
I'll be doing updates on the store, my commission price AND it will be my birthday🎂 tomorrow! Will I made any events or announcements? I guess we'll find out!!

So I have a conundrum of a spiritual nature that I don't have anyone to talk to about so I am going to throw it into the void and see if anyone has helpful advice on it. I am NOT interested in the input of non-believers and jerks will be summarily blocked.
With that said, here is some background about me and my situation: I am witchy in a vague low spell-slot / dealing with major burnout sort of way and I have very specific *to me* beliefs about spiritual things that I won't go into, but I do enjoy and believe in tarot/divination as mostly a "headology" sort of thing - a conduit of sorts, though I don't know if it's inner or outer, and I'm not sure it matters.
SO, on the night of the 14th - 15th (which is significant to me) I saw a video of @rrrrriiiiooooottttt on tiktok doing a community tarot reading, which I logically know that masses of people saw but there were parts of it that felt very personal to me.
Firstly, my mom gave me her Waite-Rider-Smith deck like 30 years ago and I am relatively familiar with the deck's imagery, but beyond that it resonated because my mom's passed and I would have discussed this with her.
Secondly, some of the specific cards felt personal too, and when I did a few readings for myself they popped up again. But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.
The reading itself was titled as "this is a message from Lucifer to you" which certainly had me smirking until it hit a nerve lol. They didn't pull cards so much as ask questions and shuffle until cards slipped from their hands in answer.
The cards in order; King of Cups and 9 Cups together, Emperor alone, King of Wands and 8 Wands, Queen of Pentacles alone, then 6 Wands, The Magician, (9 Pentacles which was mostly hidden behind other cards), Page of Swords, and Temperance all together. They interpreted it all to mean Lucifer was reaching out to work with people to overcome challenges faster than they might otherwise, see the bigger picture and find balance and abundance.
So I did a deep dive into analysing the cards they pulled, finding more stuff that resonated, and contemplated that for a couple days. Then I did my own readings on two different decks asking if a spirit was reaching out to me, yes, if it was malicious, no.
I asked if it was the pre-xian version of Lucifer and had cards falling as I shuffled, which is unusual for me. I interpreted them as a yes. (K of Pent, Strength, Ace of Pent, 6 Wands, 6 Cups)
So I asked "What now?" for lols and pulled the Queen of Cups which made me wonder if I should look for a writing mentor.
Then I asked if I should persue 3 certain writers as mentors and pulled a single card for each name, which got me the 5 Wands, The Devil lmao, and 9 Swords, all of which felt like big nos.
Lastly I asked if I should work on the magnum opus fanfic that I haven't worked on in a year and got the Lovers, which, I mean, yes, but also is a card that I actually reference in the story which knocked me for a loop lmao.
So now I'm at a loss because I've never worked with a spirit and I'm not sure how, or if I actually want to. If I could just write I would have by now lol so it's a real "Now what?" moment. The one person I'd discuss this with isn't exactly available for comment (and would probably freak tf out if she were alive lol). Anyone have experience they're willing to share, with Lucifer or any other spirits?
I am intrigued by the idea of working with a spirit, and am absolutely tickled by the thought of getting to say I made a deal with the devil, ngl, but I need some feedback from more knowledgeable people before I commit.
I don't know if anyone will see this but here's hoping. 💜

The Great Minds Tarot by Ukraine artist Serhiy Branish! This deck is queer and beautiful. Serhiy’s use of hue and color is fantastic and the quotes he has chosen lend themselves well to the overall meanings of the cards. The cards make for a thick and luxurious deck with a durable matte laminate. The deck is 80 cards, plus the number and title card. The 80-cards includes an alternate rider of cups and 3 of cups. You can get this deck currently on sale for 20% off! As i understand it
Get the deck!
Visit Serhiy Branish!
He also sent a pretty little lenormand as an original pre-order bonus, so i don’t know if that still applies but i wanted to show it here 😅

2, 6, and 10!
Hope your day gets better Salty❤️❤️
Oh its nothing bad, no worries here, just you know how sometimes you notice a bruise and you poke at it to see if hurts and it almost always does? I did that but *emotionally* 😬 something about not picking at old wounds lol. Still, thank you sm for the pick me up ❤️
2.) What's your feel-good movie? I dont have too much time for movies anymore but I've been on a New Girl kick lately. A lot of it hasn't aged well (miss me with the fatphobic Schmidt jokes) but god there's so many bits that just absolutely fold me (this one gets me every damn time.)
6.) Say three nice things about yourself (three physical and three non physical.)
Non-Physical: I'm resilient, I'm understanding, I'm considerate. I've overcome every obstacle I've ever faced, and I'm very proud of that. And despite being dealt an objectively sucky hand, I want to leave this world a little kinder than I found it, even if that's on a very small scale. So I like to meet people where they're at within reason, and treat people with the same kindness and consideration I want to be treated with. I'm not perfect and I can fail at that, but I'm always trying to be better than the person I was yesterday, while also respecting myself and my boundaries. (Except ya know, bigots, terfs, predators, racists, anyone in current positions of power, etc. If you're a genuine menace to humanity and proud of it, I hope you get hemorrhoid's that never heal and perish miserably and alone.)
Physical: I love my freckles, I love the way my eyes look like dark amber tree rings in the sunlight, and I love that my body is soft so baby buns always has a comfy place to rest, but also that it takes up space and is strong so I'm not easily threatened.
10.) What's something you're excited for? OMG SO MUCH. I pre ordered Erio's Arcane Tarot Deck over on twitter and they just got THE MOST BREATHTAKING samples, I also splurged and ordered the Divide: Arcane Zine bundle and god there's so much cool art and goodies and almost all of the stretch goals have been met?! The book alone is absolutely stuffed with stunning content, and honestly I've found so many amazing artists just through their twitter its amazing.
I've got an art reception coming up soon, I might be popping down to C2E2 for my birthday with some close friends who have never been, Bridging the Rift: The making of Arcane drops a week before my birthday. LOTS of other small stuff too, it's really looking like this August might be my best birthday month yet and I'm so stoked about it.

Look at this cursed-ass tarot deck! Omg I want it. Anyone want to spot me 36 euros lol
I thought about offering some shitty tarot readings to fund this but I am, admittedly, exceptionally bad at them.
In any case, please look at the deck, is it not the coolest shit you've ever seen

Overall Review:
Pre-Read:
I tried to read this when it came out, and I made it like half way through before I put it down and just, forgot to pick it up again. I didn’t mean to DNF but it was not very encouraging to continue. It felt slow, I couldn’t feel the chemistry between Astrid and Jordan, and I still really didn’t like Astrid because of her in DGDC. This time around, I discovered that if I had continued reading literally 4 more pages, I would have finished the book that first time around, because it finally sold Jordan and Astrid to me at that point.
Astrid:
First impressions aside, I don’t think I was ever gonna LOVE this book, because I do have a general dislike for Astrid, both for who she is and how she was around Delilah (they are both at fault for their relationship, but I read a book in Delilah’s POV first, and Astrid was an ass for no reason so many times). That being said, while I would not be friends with her IRL, from a reader/writer perspective, she is a fantastic character. She is deeply flawed and actively acknowledges many of those flaws. She works to do better and her growth through this book is truly admirable. Watching her journey in trying to come out and to unlearn the habits she didn’t even know she had due to her upbringing, and all of her own thoughts she had to challenge in order to find her happiness… I am incredibly proud of her, she is a great main character. Still not gonna choose to spend any free time with her, but she served her purpose well in this book.
Jordan:
Jordan, I am obsessed with. I think the tarot thing wasn’t really made to fit. I think AHB was just really determined to include it, but don’t give Jordan enough connection in her backstory or personality to defend how invested she is in this tarot deck. We just know she bought it after Meredith left her, but we don’t know if Jordan had any prior interest in Tarot or anything similar, like astrology. It felt a bit forced, but other than that, I really did enjoy her. She’s brash and excitable and sarcastic and she’s on this journey of rediscovery too that is really fun to watch.
Meredith should just… move to somewhere international so they never have to see each other again, because while she’s valid to want a change in her life, she completely disregarded everything her wife did for her and everything that she felt for the sake of her “personal reawakening and need to find her destiny”. It was disrespectful of her relationship and of Jordan as a person. So, she can leave. You don’t get an I-had-cancer get-out-of-jail free card for being that much of an asshole.
Cast:
I wanted more of the Bright Falls cast tbh. Especially really defining the way the group works with Delilah in the mix, and Josh back for good. I wanted more Josh being subtly bullied and tested for his promise to stay and be around. I felt like it was way too quiet, when all Astrid had outside of work was her friends, but there was no routinely seeing each other, or weekly get together. There were a handful of group outings and one event. I needed a bigger fix than that. But seeing how Delilah filled in a space they were missing was so beautiful. Claire kinda lost all her personality, but she also had like 6 minutes of screen time in bookish terms, so I’m not necessarily surprised that’s what happened.
Plot:
The plot overall and the main conflict wasn’t super convincing for me. I feel like there wasn’t that much buildup of the risks involved for Astrid and Jordan if this doesn’t go well. But also, I feel like there hasn’t ever really been a risk of this not working out. There weren’t any actual opportunities or reasons to watch for presented to the readers about what could happen that would lead to the Reno failing, or the episode not airing. I knew they were worried, but i was never really worried for them. It just didn’t have the weight it needed to in my opinion. And it was so drawn out, but not in a slow burn kind of way, in a “I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel about this lady, and I’m so involved in my own issues I’m just gonna ignore this weird feeling and move on” kind of way. There wasn’t obvious chemistry to start, just conflict.
Other Comments:
What also probably didn’t help my perception of this book was some of the reviews I read on here before I started it (and I want to be explicitly clear that this is in no way the fault of any other poster or creator and I am in no way criticizing their opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and is allowed to put that on the internet. If I didn’t want to hear it, I wouldn’t read it. This is entirely on me).
A few people posted reviews about why they didn’t like AHB’s writing, and pointed out parts of her writing style and how she develops and includes her queer characters, and especially how she leans into stereotypes and performative allyship.
That’s a rough summary, I can’t remember exactly what was said. But those were the thoughts I had in my head while I was reading, and it did make me very sad, because there was a lot of Delilah and Claire from DGDC that I really related with and I felt very connected to the way that these characters were presented in that story. Reading APDF, I could identify a few points that could be interpreted as this kind of thing, but I didn’t feel that they were as a big a deal, I guess. So that also turned me off from the book at the start, so maybe (ironically) this book was doomed to be a disappointment for me.
All in all, it was a good book. Maybe not worth a reread, but I can’t say I didn’t enjoy some of it. 😐
