Kaka compilation

Because everyone is sleeping on him. Witness his greatness!! First two Kaka colored icons were colored by me, lineart by Ryoko Kui though!

Kaka & Kiki are kinda like Laios & Falin… Kaka being stoic and giving repressed energy like early Laios, Kiki being cryptic and always smiling and kinda soft-looking. Autism siblings 2, ostracized and othered as kids and have a deep bond due to sticking together through it all, though unlike with Laios their parents are very loving so Kaka developed family as a big value more than Laios (bc asides for Falin Laios doesn’t care much about it).

In the gnome festival comic you can see Kaka is more emotive than he seems! Full with a :3 face, and he’s the one crying at the end. He’s insecure about his legs and being tall… It really got to him. Conceal don’t feel. In the gnome festival comic you also see him sensing others’ gaze on him and that something is off unlike Kiki, again Laios-like in the way that judgement from others gets to him more than her.

#The twins are so autistic swag #A falin just as chilled out and smiling and a laios who never stopped repressing #They’re so neurodivergent and they’re allowed to just exist I love you Kui. Kaka is just literally me #I looove characters that are hard to know and hard to read/easily misunderstood. this dog came for foster with a horrifically shattered leg which had gone untreated and i fell in love with her instantly and i fought not to euthanise her for over 2 weeks even though she had heart disease and luxating patellas and aforementioned shattered leg and then they gave her to me on account of being in the vet industry and being able to provide her with everything she needs and i was the happiest person in the world for 48 hours until we went to surgery to fix her leg and she fucking carked it

#i named her judy #and she hated everyone in the world but me #understandably #she was so terribly mistreated #she didn't deserve any of it #and she died from aspiration under anaesthetic #a freak accident which had nothing to do with her pre existing ailments #out of 200 foster dogs i have only ever adopted one #and that was sweet boody bood 6 years ago #joody jood was meant to live out her days with me too #i loved her so very much #the vet who was doing her fracture repair said to me after she died #thank you for being her friend when she had none #i still cry #judy #fosters

i cried so much this whole episode. i know that i can't be in that house and be who i am at the same time, but the guilt and shame never really go away. i love that this episode said, wholeheartedly: fuck what society says, you should be wherever allows you to be happiest

Umbria Bellaris is an archsage of the Guild of Mages and the leader of the Order of Lethalis. Despite her quiet and reserved demeanour, she has been considered unusual by her colleagues due to her unorthodox approach to magic and research. As one of Diradan Tower’s most skilled graduates, she rapidly climbed through the ranks and made a name of herself. She is relatively untested as a teacher, having taught only two apprentices in her career.

Before the tower explosion, Umbria’s research investigated new forms of curative magic and ways to resuscitate the clinically dead. She began this research while studying under Sabien Quirinus, her former mentor.
