I still haven't watched enough of The Legend of Shenli (up to 9 right now) to know whether there are real reasons for the Immortal Realm to be so stressed out about Shenli not being alone with Xingzhi or whether it's just some unthought-out virginity/purity thing for unmarried women.

I mean, she's a warrior? She spends most of her time around other men (odd that there are no other women warriors apart from Shenli and her now retired from the battlefield shifu), presumably she handles and is handled by them.

And they're immortals! What's the worldbuilding here re single women and single men?

I'm going to pull a Trey Clover here, but I'd be genuinely so interested in taking a look at Jade and Floyd's teeth (and also Idia's, because I think his would be different from the Leeches', but that is another matter.)

because, like... do Jade and Floyd have the same sort of teeth as moray eels, and if so... which type? what's the spacing like? how long are their teeth?

or are they like human teeth, but pointy? do they have anything akin to molars to chew food?

I just don't know... and because they're drawn with the triangular fang-style teeth, it isn't clear. (maybe they're more shark-like in shape / structure? idk)

In episode one Sleep of the Just, both the raven Jessamy and Roderick Burgess die in front of the imprisoned Dream, yet the audience does not see Death come to ferry their souls to the Sunless Lands. Perhaps creations of the Dreaming do not die in the same way as humans, but that leaves the magus himself. Is Death prevented from freeing Dream lest she be guilty of interfering with the affairs of mortals? Or does the same summoning circle that was crafted to trap her prevent her from manifesting inside of it? This could be an additional security measure from Desire to prevent any of the Endless from ruining their plan.

What of Roderick Burgess’s soul if Death is unable to guide him to the afterlife? Is he doomed to an eternity of Limbo? Or does it follow the “no one dies at Disneyland” rule and Death is able to reap him once his body is removed from the circle? And then what is the fate of the man who thought he could bind Death to his will?

At this point I just wanna know what the fuck is going on with Will and the Upside Down. Why was he taken? How did he figure out the phones, lights and STEREO could be used to communicate? Was he just... wandering around hiding in Castle Byers, his own house and the forest? And how is it that he was able to see his mother through the wall after he and Joyce ripped the wallpaper at the same time? How did he navigate around the vines in the Upside Down? If Vecna was the one who took him, why is it that Will hasn't brought him up yet? Has he forgotten or repressed it? And whoever it was that took him anyway; how did he escape? How did he go from being captured and taken to just wandering around in the Upside Down and contacting his mother? Why did the phone get electrocuted every time Will called? How is it that Will made the light bulb shine brighter and brighter, just like the Demogorgon/Vecna did in the shed, and like Eleven has done occasionally?

And isn't the air in the Upside Down toxic? How did Will survive the whole time he was there in a week breathing nothing but toxic air? Is Will immune to it? It's just that we never see him recovering from that type of thing, no oxygen masks or anything like that in the hospital, and he seems fine afterwards (throwing up a slug aside)
