What do you think of the new champion roadmap?

Omg I have sorta mixed feelings!!

I'm kinda excited for Asol changes? But the fire breathing while flying things puts me off a bit I'm not going to lie. I wonder what the dps/mana ratio is going to be. And I wonder how they're gonna fit the fire breath in juxtaposition to his ultimate? I'm assuming that's changing too but I wonder into what. I hope they keep the star/supernova theme that his abilities have now bc I think it's a rly cool concept. Moreso than just... dragon breathe fire and fly. Tho tbf I'm not particularly engaged in the Asol changes bc I played him once ever and sucked so bad I've never tried again lol

I'm sooooo excited to see K'sante!! I don't play a lot of top lane bc im bad and I hate fighting top laners but I also love playing top laners (that's why I throw games with Camille supp /j) so I genuinely cannot wait to see him. The concept of his weapons sounds really cool and I wonder if his ultimate is going to be something that empowers his weapon for a short time (almost like jayce? But with a limited duration + longer CD). I loved the art they showed for Nazumah and I am so ready to learn more.

I'm honestly not looking particularly forward to the new darkin champ bc I cannot stand assassins (got my ass handed to me by a qiyana tonight 😭😭) but I also go bonkers for darkin lore so at least there's that 🥴 I hope this new one is a lady! I'd like to see another rly buff woman in this game but idk if they'd use that kind of frame for an assassin. One can dream

I'm cautious abt the other possible midscope changes bc the fella in the video (forgot his name) mentioned Neeko and I love neeko as she is rn but if they found a way to play further into her shape-shifting I think I'd be super into it. Also from one Rell player to another I wouldn't mind her getting a few tweaks. I love her kit but her MS and lack of solo-utility hurts as a chronic kill stealer. With champs like Leona and Naut I feel like they pose more of an individual threat to other laners but Rell is much, much more dependent on her ADC and I wish you could have more fun with how you build her (never tried it but id love to see rell with the kinds of builds you see on a tanky Morde or Gwen. Riftmaker + demonic embrace + thornmail + spirit vasage) but she just often feels too weak to entertain the idea. Maybe I should try it out before I knock on it tho. Or build her w/ sunfire instead of evenshroud

Excited to see the ixtal champ too! I don't have any particular feelings bc I don't play many enchanters and they revealed so little but as long as its not the sequel to Yuumi its cool.

I'm also super excited for the fright night skinline. The urgot and Renata skins 😌👌👌. Makes me think of nightmare before Christmas (probably as intended) and I just aaaah. The more I play the harder and harder it gets not to spend money. Holding out rp for that new Camille skin atm 😏

S2 WISHFUL THINKING

hey hi hello! i haven’t really been active on tumblr but i wanted to get back into the swing of being active and posting often. so.

i decided i will take note of some of my predictions, hopes, wishes etc. for Season 2 of Rainbow High!

so i kinda wanna just cover the things we canonically have seen aka specific events and drama that has gotten introduced

- The New Roommates / Series 3 Girls

i feel like we will definitely see more of them within the coming episodes. rainbow high literally advertised the new teams as like… i think the second or third teaser for the new season

it’s interesting to me because. this makes me think of What The Runway Project is? what could it possibly be? i believe i made a post about this in the past but the main theory (and theory i believe the most in) would be a Stage Production of sorts. i mean… it makes sense!

the twins are both Performing Arts focus and are definitely the antags this season. so why wouldn’t they cause trouble in regard to a stage play? plus, bella is back. she’s literally a set designer! we have never seen her do any set designing (other than making a sketch) so it would be fun to see that! if river were to get more focus this season, he would definitely have an outlet to channel his Performing Arts creativity! plus… Daria is a song writer so like. imagine if we were to get music out of that? please. the possibilities are endless.

im also eager to see the series 3 girls dynamics. like are the rest of the girls (gabriella, georgia, emmy and daphne) all roomed together? do they get along? will they all be just as dramatic as stella, sheryl and daria’s dynamic?

but anyway. whatever the drama and the semester project is, the new teammates definitely seem to be playing a crucial role in this season.

- The Twins

i’m actually really eager to see more of them. i feel like not enough people are talking about them? season 2 is actually really interesting so far…. maybe more so than season 1… and i feel like we are going to have to thank the twins for that at some point lol

like. idek what they’re planning on doing but. i’m excited to see what it is! they’ll probably be involved in the semester project or at least causing problems to all of the roommates and teams. they’ll definitely have something going on with bella. and it seems that they have a good bond with karma (after the KWK we got). so maybe they’ll have input in any potential drama with Karma. which leads me to

- Karma VS. Violet

so. this drama has been teased at for like. ever. for what feels like forever.

this moment in Karma’s bio PLUS the commentary about violet from her and the twins in the recent KWK episode. but anyway. i’m actually super interested in whatever this drama could be??? like. why is karma watching.

we know violet adores karma, she really wants to have her in the vi life. so i’m sure she basically looks up to her! but like. will karma actually genuinely be nice with violet? keep a distance? make remarks like she did in her recent vlog? i don’t know. idk what to expect. of course it’ll have to do with vlogging or something.

- Bella

ok so there is a few things to note with bella. i’m still interested in if bella will accept to do an interview with Karma for her vlog? if so, i wonder how that would go. and i wonder how violet would feel about it. like the very last time bella was featured in vi’s vlog was on a bad note (even though they made up) but like. idk AAA

also i’m wondering how bella is gonna handle being back to rainbow high. because so far it seems she’s having trouble fitting in. will the key to her fitting in be Jade? will Jade help her figure everything out? or would it be someone else?

as much as i’d love Jade to be the reason Bella starts to feel more at home, i also love the other idea of Amaya being the reason bella feels comfortable again. Amaya was once the new girl (and of course in an awkward position because she was essentially a replacement for bella’s spot in the runway group) but. she didn’t fit in. she had to find her place at rainbow high… and it took her until the runway show to be able to truly feel comfortable.

and like. i’ve been rooting for bella/amaya dynamic for awhile now. i see a lot of potential in this duo. we know they somewhat have tension. i mean. bella had a really awkward confrontation with amaya and that was rly their first and last conversation. sure they’ve been around each other like in the music video, at the end of s1, and when bella walked into the girls dorm s2ep2 but like. that’s it.

SO ANYWAY. what i’m trying to get at is that these two definitely need to become friends. i mean. they have a LOT in common. i was talking about the new girl situation because i feel like they can relate in that way. they both had an awkward entrance into rainbow high and could bond over that. it took amaya awhile to feel at home at rainbow high… so maybe she could become friends with bella and help her feel at home! they’re both very determined leader types. they’re really passionate and! they have the same friend group! so why not become friends?

- Jade and Bella

of course i will wonder about these two! i have no clue what to expect with them. the fandom and myself are really really really wanting to see these two become a canon sapphic couple. i really want to see this happen! and mga knows this. mga knows we want to see jella happen. i mean, they literally snatched the ship name from us and plastered it into their vlogs. so they KNOW

anyway. these two are literally going through it rn. the way jade’s eyes lit up when she saw bella was back at rh. and now both of them are looking for each other and worried about each other. jade thinking bella is mad at her rn? please. i will sob. they are really holding off this jella reunion but i hope it’s for a good reason. i just want them to talk and have a good reunion… a hug……. happy tears, happy smiles…………..a love confession…

- Amaya

so i don’t really have much to say here but i’m just wondering about amaya this season. she’s definitely been advertised so much to the point that she essentially became like. THE main focus in season 1. this peeved some people but personally i loved amaya being like a sort of main character figure. she didn’t really take attention away from the other characters but also had that energy of being a main character anyway.

my point is, though, idk how she will play out in this season? like is she going to be as much of a main character as the main 6 are…. or will she play a bigger role? i have no clue. it seems bella is going to have a key focus this season, which makes sense, but it still just makes me wonder about amaya’s role this season

- Colin

i just hope this man does not get a development arc. i know some people want him to…. but i just. i don’t. i don’t understand. the point of him existing was to show that cheating is wrong and to display girl power. by teaching that skyler didn’t need a man to prove her worth. that she is her own person. her own strength! i really hope that colin and bella don’t have anything omfg.

- Winter Break

i’m really. REALLY excited for the winter break arc. it’s about time we get to see some backgrounds outside of rainbow high! plus the animated tidbits of ruby, sky, and violet in their wb outfits in the wb commercial was everything.

i’m so excited to see their new hairstyles, to see them with their snow gear and more. omg. of course i think the twins will be involved in this arc someone. krystal briefly mentioned the twins’ family having a ski lodge. and then of course we see sunny with her skis so like. yea!! i just wonder how these episodes would play out. or episode. but anyway like… will they just vibe? or will there be a problem of sorts? if it’s winter break then it probably won’t tie into school or like projects or anything like that

- Kia Hart

i’m actually hoping kia gets some focus this season. like. what is she going to do? is she going to pair another couple together? (if so, please be jella. okay wait seriously what if she is the key to reuniting jade and bella together… anyway) i just hope to see more of her and possibly more of her and krystal together haha. but kia just vibes so far, it would be lovely to get more of her!

- The A’s

so ainsley is finally beginning to get some attention! i really hope we continue to get more of her as well as avery, and aidan of course! we did get a bunch of content of aidan but you can never have enough honestly.

but i just wonder about how the A’s will be this season. like will they do anything significant? are bella and avery going to remain close? what is going on!!!

- The Malibu Line

so we literally know nothing about this except

but i still wonder like. if we will get to see anything about it at any point during the web series. perhaps it would be more of a summer thing. but it definitely means something if Bella is in it! (also i’m just generally excited for her new doll. omfg.)

- The Rock Line

so we also know almost nothing about this except

saw someone discuss that the music being heard during s2ep2 could be in regards to the rock battle. honestly. what if this is some sort of project? battle of bands or something? that would be cool lol. anyway i’m intrigued for this line mainly because of all the clothing leaks we have been getting omg.

- The Slumber Party Line

we have known about this for a little while (with the theory of the baby blue girl being in it) but i’m just curious as to who the characters are and if they will be in the web series at all.

- Jett Dawson

okay so. this is a big one. jett being a collector doll, i feel like she’ll definitely play a crucial role in the series. so like. who will she be to the main characters? it says she’s generally nice. why was she giving that look to the girls after their runway performance? IDK! i have no clue what to expect with her. i feel like the expectations i had for amaya (before we knew anything about her) will be put into jett because. the vibes i got from amaya ever since we just had her doll… i am also kind of getting from jett. so i’m eager!

jujutsu kaisen! i only started this yesterday but it started last season and is in its second cour rn!! its a rly good shounen that ive seen a lot about and been like ehh but i decided to give it a try bc i was bored n caught up w everything else and now i am . obsessed

horimiya! its a rly good romance anime n theres only 2 eps out (as is the case w the majority of this list) but i read some of the manga before this started airing and i love that so im hyped <33 cloverworks is doing a wonderful job with it and the art is beautiful and i love miyamura with my whole heart

beastars season 2 !!! ive been excited for this for SO long .. its looking rly good so far ofc. i forgot everything from the first season tho HAHAHAHA so when my bf was asking me about stuff from the s1 op and what it Meant i was like lol idk . still loving s2 tho

sk8 the infinity! i wasnt planning on watching this one but i gave it a shot and am lowkey in love w it.... i already love the dynamic between the main characters, langa and reki, aka dumbass^2. it just feels rly fun to watch ^^

2.43: seiin high school boys volleyball team! the title is so long LMAO but its pretty good so far. ive seen a lot of comparisons to hq bc volleyball anime but tbh it seems like its going to have a different focus. theres already some pretty heavy topics in the first couple eps, and it seems like itll be a lot more focused on the relationships of the teammates as opposed to just raaaa volleyball better more better!! (not to knock hq tho ofc, i love love love hq, this is just a different focus in a similar premise so im excited!)

kemono jihen! ahhh this one is rly good too. im not even sure why LOL it just has good and interesting vibes. im pretty curious to learn more about the world !! just fun 2 watch tbh :]

wonder egg priority!! this only has one ep out until tuesday when the next ep comes out but it seems RLY good so far. obvi its only been setup but i LOVE the art (cloverworks again..... shocker. i love their art) i am SO excited to see more of this one!!!

and last and kind of least as of right now (LOL), bottom-tier character tomozaki! this one i am.. unsure on. theres a lot of gamer references (which im fine with tbh) but theres been multiple times in each episode where ive had to pause and put my face in my hands bc of secondhand embarrassment..... its. Fine, i guess. just kinda hard to watch, and not even in a good way. this is rly too bad bc the premise was interesting when i read it! but actually watching the show, im ehhh

• so as aforementioned this is jade kukichi, aka, kool kat. she was dubbed that by her friends due to her unique fashion style and sense of dress, and it’s stuck. lbr nobody other than her friends can use that term so if you do, she’s just going to stare at u for a quick sec before saying ‘it’s jade’.

• born in harajuku, tokyo to a cardiothoracic surgeon of a father and a politician of a mother, jade grew up traveling the world and becoming flighty af, never thinking she was going to make long - term friends and kinda being okay with that.

• her family has never stayed in one place for very long, though her aging parents eventually settled into a permanent residence in the us around the time she turned sixteen, not soon enough for jade to break the habit of wandering, but thankfully quick enough for her to meet the bratz girls who were just as adventurous and fun - loving as she. she's spent much of her teen life jumping from place to place wherever her interests are that moment, collecting people along the way, but to find friends was the only thing she was missing. jade has a brilliant mind, but she lacks patience and follow through. she needs guidance or she'll jump from idea to idea, job to job, whim to whim.

• ngl, jade pretty much hated her home life. her parents were an overbearing presence in her life, her mother wanting jade to be a proper lady who also went into a profession like theirs (entirely serious and stifling when it came to creativity, doctor, politician, lawyer etc.) while jade herself wanted to check out the latest trends and go to the mall w her friends – so she turned all of her focus and energy into getting good grades in everything she wanted to do in the hopes that she could be the most successful fashion designer, then leaving town forever.

• like she spent 7 yrs in high school graduating w honours but she barely knew what was happening in 9/10 of her classes and sometimes she just slept through classes and then wing her exams which she miraculously did well at. it was just not a good idea to send jade to a public school at 11 after being in boarding school for the rest of her life and then never really enforce any rules :~\ she has trouble with that kind of thing.. as in making logical choices instead of saying "YEAH lets go watch american psycho and smoke weed!" skipping chemistry to do just that

• she loves fun and values doing what makes her happy over most things. it's hard to pin her down and she spends most of her life chasing after ideas that don't really follow any sort of conscious order, bc she’s really got that ‘i’ve got dreams and i’m gonna do everything in my power to achieve them’ personality.

• according to bratz canon she’s worked as literally everything ? she’s one of those insufferable people who r just. good everything ig and that’s just how it is on this bitch of an earth. jade’s been a photographer, a song - writer and bass player in a rock band (shout out to bratz rock angelz the best movie w the best soundtrack ever), a student studying fashion design, a fashion columnist, a quickly fired nanny, and many other things in between.

• so when she appears in toonsville she’s kind of out of it that she’s not doing something w her skills and sets up her own business which she loves ? being her own boss suits her fine (for now) because she’s got a Real Job and she's actually trying rly hard so she can fulfill her dreams !! like suck it mom nd dad haha !!!

• jade has a lot of weird feelings TM about her body and her looks and struggles a lot with her self confidence :~( she had a shit time at school with boys saying she was too thin and she compensated by acting like she didn't like anyone at all for a while and now she thinks she isn't good enough for anyone when rly she is a cinnamon bun too good for this world too pure

• best friend ever she is so good at being a friend if u text her at 3am to go out or cry on her shoulder shes ready to go at 3:15 even if she was sleeping w lots of snacks and treats and love!!! she is sooo extroverted around those she’s comfortable w, she gains so much energy from being around people and she loves being nice and being around ppl she likes

• she becomes the mom of groups pretty easily (hence why she’s the leader of the bratz) bc she bottles up most of her own problems to help ppl with theirs!! which is toxic yea but she puts people first always so !! plz help her poor repressed soul!! rip kool kat..

• still super into the stuff of her time so like.. she loves the x files and bad reality tv shows (i want to be a hilton) and reads gossip magazines on the reg because she enjoys that stuff! also very into girl groups.. ginger spice / posh spice is an eternal mood.

• anyway yes sweet adult-child of 21 (she is in denial about that tho like she doesn't want to be childish) who is v nice v kind v loyal v baked a lot of time, v passionate v silly. idk what i'm doin hope u like it < 3

004. WANTED CONNECTIONS .

friends / best friends / ride or dies . jade genuinely loves people, loves talking to strangers and getting into intense conversations with people she’s only just met, learning other people’s way of life and bettering herself for getting. she is, however, incredibly blunt and has never once minced words to keep from hurting someone’s feelings or to ease them into a situation. she’d much rather have a one-time conversation with a stranger than make long lasting relationships. she has three very close friends – to the point of co - dependence – and honestly, she’d rather spend all of her time doing things she loves such as her hobbies, sticking her nose into the latest vogue, or searching for cute collars and treats for her cat mica w them instead of making new friends. she's also FUN and she'd be happy to go on crazy road trips or buy out a movie theater for a day or anything that she thinks will her buds happy. she's traveled all over, so she’s v well read and cultured. she loves people but she hates complication and won't deal with any sort of emotional labor. she wants to live in the moment and expects everyone in her life to do so as well. just be chill, y'all.

frenemies / enemies / rivals . please be her enemy, she needs people to antagonize shdhshd. she grew up pretty much affluent so she’s pretty spoiled even if she doesn’t want to admit it, and that rebellious side of her hasn’t died down yet. despite the fact that she is wealthy and in good community standing, she has a hard time letting go of childish grudges. in general she’s got a lot of suppressed feelings and ready to fight everyone who hurts her friends – like an irritated cat – so, honestly, come at her ? she is sometimes a little fickle and flighty and a unintentionally stuck up when it comes to art / fashion and she has definitely said the wrong thing at the wrong time and pissed the wrong people off, she can’t stand anyone underestimating her or thinking she’s dumb bc she’s interested in fashion. like gtfo !

ex’s , fwb’s , possible love interests . jade is fairly fluid romantically and is the type of person who hates labels but also just wants to be cherished and called cute pet names lowkey. she loves a lot and gives a lot to her relationships, but typically doesn't want to commit to anything important. she’s gone from one disastrous relationship to another, ending up with a boyfriend who constantly ridiculed her image that was essentially the catalyst for her cutting off romantic ties, quite a recent wound before she found herself on the island actually. worst thing is tht she’s convinced herself that she’s been the problem in these relationships – that she turns good people bad or that she is too much for people to deal with, she’s not sure what the issue is and she doesn’t really want to know. so…. fuck everything amirite ? anyway, she’s a strong independent woman who don’t need no (wo)man.

How did you discover the show?

I saw it on tumblr a lot, naturally, after s1 dropped it really took off and i was super curious about it because i was a HUGE fan of atla! but i was also like ‘robot... cats...’ and so i didnt watch it right away lmao, ive posted about this before but i ended up watching this amv shortly after it came out and after that i was like ‘i HAVE to watch this’ (just watched the amv again and its still rly good, damn it reminds me how good s1 was........)

Was it love at first sight or did it take you a while to get into the show?

it was completely love at first site!!! u know lance won my heart the second he opened his mouth, and i was impressed right away by how lovely it was, how creative and scifi fun it was, i loved the music and the updated designs and i was in it for the diversity tbh. i knew starting this show could never be undone with ‘girl, youve already activated my particle ba--’ ‘LANCE.’ how poetic is it that a shance moment brought me here

Do you have a favorite Paladin?

wonder who that could be............ Lance............. my son........ he is so excited and open-hearted, but so capable and smart in so many ways. he has Been There for the team in so many ways, from hugely significant emotional support to skilled tactical coverage, all the way up until he literally died saving a team mate, and this wasnt even his first close call. he can be petty and short-tempered cos hes young and working stuff out, but he is so gotdang selfless and beautiful and charming and i LOVE...

Do you have a favorite Lion? (If it’s different from your fav paladin, why?)

*looks down at the blue slippers on my feet, looks up at the blue lion toy on my desk shelf* yea i got a fav.... tbh blue is so sweet and smart and i love her, and black is growing on me in a MAJOR way, mysterious and wise and full of Love for shiro, much like i hope to be

Do you have a favorite Villain?

HAGGAR!!! BITCH!!!!!!!!! my bias was skewed from day 1 the second she opened her mouth and cree summers voice came out, and when she started showing concern for zarkon i knew it was over for me, i knew they were gonna cut me deep w her history. ive said since the beginning that haggar was gonna be the main villain, and i believe it more than ever now that voltron kinda killed her husband and lost her son in a void. her backstory reveal rocked me to my core, and i care very much about honerva and haggar!! ive always felt like the final conflict is gonna come down to haggar and allura tbh

How/Why did you join the fandom?

i came in initially to consume the shallura content tbh (this was before it got “””cancelled””” by antis, and i was very excited to see a black woman in a popular ship for gotdamn once. yea im bitter). i started rping p quick after watching it all, i just really wanted to write lance, then i got into an rp with a keith and the ship was unlocked in my heart for All Time. this was around the time that i stopped drawing, i held on for as long as i could and used to post fanart, but it didnt last long. kept me inspired to keep writing tho, and thats good cos i need to be making something!! now its getting me back into drawing and im thankful for that, big ups to shance fandom within the fandom for being da bes!!

shit... i wasnt ready for this... i dont really have any relevant hcs that i can think of right now! ummmm i think that the garrison knows more than we think, and that there are going to be some Interesting revelations when the team goes home. im suspicious of how quick they were to jump on and contain shiro at the beginning without so much as letting him speak, how close the base was to the blue lion, and the fact that tex kogane saw the lion and was immediately like ‘should we call the garrison?’ (realistically he could be saying that cos, i mean, who else nearby would know about bizarre aircraft than a piloting academy, but still!)

What do you think is the best part of the show?

honestly there is a lot i love about the show, but i guess the Best part is the characters and the bonds we see growing between them as the series progresses! the show has gone into much more engaging, interpersonal depth than i ever hoped for, and the bottom line is that love and compassion are the things that make life worth fighting for.

ive also talked before, i think rambling in the tags of a post lol, about how i love the fresh, fun, creative take on fantasy scifi that i have missed in recent media, and the optimism that runs as an undercurrent to it all.

Any hopes and wishes for future episodes / seasons?

i obviously just want lances personal arc to come to a head already!! his character has been quietly and steadily growing in the background of all of this, and his growth is just so human and heartfelt in the midst of all of this intergalactic drama. he is just a boy from cuba who is so good and selfless that he has literally died defending the universe, and he deserves a real, genuine time to shine!

Do you think you’ll stick it out until the end of the show?

ABSOLUTELY, this show means so much to me and has ferried me thru a hard time in my life, on top of just being generally phenomenal and everything that i hope modern cartoons can become now that people are genuinely starting to realize that it is an art form!

more beneficial. its a space where i actually feel comfortable and confident to be gay. im super proud of my sexuality but like ?? sometimes even when u feel that love n passion toward it some RL circumstances can lowkey drag u thru the mud so its a nice place to come and be unapologetically gay tbh ! fandom has been good for this too. like coming on here and reading fic and seeing art etc abt beautiful wonderful wlw is so lovely and makes my heart feel so nice and soft ! and sharing this experience with other people on here has been all around a pretty wholesome nurturing experience and im pretty grateful for that.

since i made that post the other day abt the portfolio thing i thought i’d write a follow-up

it went fine i guess?? i mean, i found the place okay so that helped w/ The Anxiety a good amount. it was a little awkward tho bc i like.. didn’t know anyone who was there and like, when i got there it was before a huge crowd showed up so there were a lot of empty chairs at the tables. i sat at one with these two girls who were talking and they like didn’t even acknowledge me lmao i mean they were in conversation but even after they stopped talking it was just silent at our table aaahhh im not good at being social at all... i’ll happily talk to anyone who talks to me first but i will never start a conversation myself unless i have smth specific to say to them and i didn’t so uh oop

as for the event itself i uh.... it wasn’t what i was expecting lol

bc the event is titled smth like “portfolio day” so i assumed the speakers would be talking about, y’know, portfolios and art careers and stuff, and i mean the first person did give some helpful advice but the other two kind of gave their life story and showed some of their work which i mean that’s fine but it felt very misplaced at an event advertised as centering around portfolios

after those three speakers they held a little art supply raffle (but i didnt win rip) and then the actual college representatives went up and gave a little summary of their school + programs and that was when the actual portfolio portion of the event started, which was the part i couldn’t participate in bc i dont have a portfolio haaa

basically they all had their own stations and u would go up and they would review your portfolio and critique it & whatnot, and honestly that’s the only useful part of the whole thing and probably what 90% of the ppl who attended were there for? it wasn’t a huge selection or anything and there was only 1 art college that i remember but still it seems like it’d be worth going just to get that opinion from an actual college representative before applying anywhere, y’know?

anyway idk where im going with this, just. i went and it was kind of underwhelming but at least i know what it’s like now? also afterwards i talked to my teacher, the one who cancelled class to bring everyone to the event instead, and we talked about it and what could be improved for next time and i gave her my thoughts and she said she’d like talk to the organizers or whoever about changing things and i just?? im really glad tbh

like idk if anything will actually change but either way im just happy that she cares and is willing to put in that kind of effort? ugh i rly love her she’s definitely one of the best teachers i’ve had at this school i want to take all of her classes like ok usually when i attend classes im just going through the motions and doing the shit bc i have to, i signed up for it so i have to commit, but i’ve genuinely enjoyed these art history classes from this teacher i love learning about this shit & i love how she teaches it, she’s v passionate about her subject and her enthusiasm makes you excited about it too and it’s just?? so good like ugh

i was honestly dreading having to take art history bc i kind of hate history classes in general and i didn’t wanna have to memorize artists n shit but she is making me love it i cannot believe the complete 180 my perspective took, and like. i’ve talked to her about it before and she said she wanted to teach the basic art history classes specifically to be able to get people interested first hand and give them a good first impression of the subject and clear up any sort of negative associations people might have with it, like she really cares and she aims to change things for the better and it’s just so nice to have a teacher who actually wants to get involved like that & also she cares about her students & she’s so nice & easy to talk to & i love her wow i didn’t mean for this to turn into me gushing abt my art history teacher but she’s rly great i’m gonna write several glowing reviews on rate my professor i hope everyone takes her classes, the end

today i saw the handmaiden with r and it was good and i had a good day i started working on the zine that was due ages ago and as p usual when i start im like o shit this is great and easy and fun why didnt i do this earlier. but it was good and im working on an illustration for a writing piece.

so we saw the handmaiden which was a really clever film and 2 asian femmes sooo heart eyes and its a brilliant story. i’m just in a rly sensitive space right now and earlier today i thought abt zach listening to that song by nick hakim. and i also watched those awful fucking videos by daddyofive so was even more stressed and sad when i saw the handmaiden. and ive been listening to that podcast shittown which is exciting but also REALLY stressful to listen to and the guy kills himself too.

when we were watching the handmaiden (which was rly long btw) it showed to aunt hanging in the tree and i was toootally not expecting it and it was super fucking graphic and all i hear about these days is people hanging themselves and its awful and terrifying. so i turned to rena to look away and then i start sobbing like i cant stop crying and i cant breathe properly and its a cinema which makes it worse and im trying not to cry which just makes me cry harder so we go outside and i feel sick. i make myself calm down and i cant eat any more crisps because i feel sick. and i feel that bad free extra long cigarette i smoked earlier in my throat.

ive been feeling like im gonna vom a lot recently and its cos the anxiety and sadness means my whole body feels it. it disrupts my digestion system said rena. i genuinely almost threw up when she told me what k said.

we bumped into k. i wanted to scream at her and i didn’t want to talk to her / didnt want her to see me at the same time. i want to be angry at her without her having a reaction. she said she was raped too, which just makes it even uglier. she’s a disgusting person. a sad person with a sad life. an awful horrible person who hurts the people around her, who literally preys on the weak, who knows what she’s doing, who is abusive, who does inhumane things.

god i’m really sad about zach still. which makes sense its only been a month and a bit.

hopefully now tho i have time to do what i want and do the things i wanna do and get some money. i have time to be alone more and process things and make more art and write more and read more. and i have so much time which feels nice. i have so much time to spend with my honey which makes me happy cos time goes by so quickly with her which is a good thing. everything feels so natural and good with her and thats a good thing. im done being hung up on the anxieties about timing, “the right thing”, what i should/shouldnt be doing, whatever my traumatised brain is telling me essentially. i wanna be with her because i like being with her, i like her, i love her, we make each other happy.

and im hopeful for the future and hopeful for the summer and im not scared of whats to come re: manchester because i’ll always know her and always love her. i feel it and know it, deeply.
