why is that every time I’m actually attracted to someone on a dating app they unmatch me or delete their profile after like 3 days of messaging or straight up stand me up lmao

This is Herbert West about to experiment on Jeffrey Combs. The concept originally came from @heliojip on here. He hasn't released his image yet though.
I had begun jokingly brainstorming how Jeffrey Combs would react if he was transported into the Reanimator universe and met Herbert. I think he'd escape with his knowledge of how horror movies work and how to act if you wanna be the survivor, and then go eat some keebler fudge magic middles (discontinued). Then Herbert would find him and Jeffrey would have to make up a reason why they look so similar, and he'd tell him that he was his REAL biological dad; the sperm donor to his actually adoptive father. Anyways if you want more of this headcanon tell me, it was fun

Podfic: "Captive Crown" by GerbilofTriumph
A shabby narration of GerbilofTriumph's excellent King's Quest fanfiction, "Captive Crown," complete with outrageous attempts at accents and enough bloopers to start a drinking game (with um, raisin juice. There are too many goofs for the real stuff.) This wonderful fiction, full of courage, nightmares, and healing, is gratefully recorded and shared with permission of the author, @gerbiloftriumph. Go check out her awesome creative blog.
All seven chapters are available at the link above, but if you just feel like listening to the first chapter while you scroll, voila:

The funny thing about playing BG3 right after its release is like. Usually with RPGs I obsessively look up the dialogue for every interaction to make sure I choose the Right Thing but since this game just came out those kinds of guides just... don't exist yet. Like sure I can look up general walkthroughs for different quests, but there's not any articles detailing the approval/disapproval rating for every character on each individual dialogue option like there is for, say Dragon Age, so I'm having to actually fuck around and find out for once

Bellefast has been coming to me in my dreams recently, in a similar way to how Monteith and Jibblie do
I find myself at The Circus, but in a sleeping quarter of some kind. And I can hear the festivities going on outside, in the big top. I'm apparently just passing through, but know everyone well enough that they let me stay on the property.
The only person I don't know is Bellefast, which is strange since he's the Ringleader, you tihnk I'd know him quite well, if I know all the clowns and performers and stagehands.
And he doesn't know me. So when he stumbles into the sleeping quarters, whiskey and candy floss on his breath, and falls into the bed, he's caught by surprise. As am I.
It feels like maybe a creative exercise? Maybe my brain wants to flesh this character out more, so it's putting him into my almost asleep brain so that I have to learn more about him.
So far I've learned he has a drinking problem.

@imarahuyo replied ; anyone she can fight in the parking lot
/ U know, the first thing that popped in my mind was Sen and Morgan throwing fists against each other for the dominion of the sea- I’m not gonna go into details over Morgan’s own convoluted and stacked stories that merge with each other and then get discarded and so on and so forth but basically, some early sources that might have contributed to the development of her character throughout history suggest that one of the inspirations that one of the many authors that have included Morgan in their story might have been influenced by this one character who could control the sea through incantations as well as the fishes in the sea; well Morgan’s own personality differs a lot depending on what parts u take and which u don’t, but she can be very petty- in the sense of;; if someone wants something that falls under her rulling, then out of spite she will want to reclaim such thing. Now does she really want that or is she simply bored? there is also a sense of power that is always enticing, so it could be really a bunch more of reasons; or maybe it just becomes routine to fight sen, kinda like tom and jerry- who knows; I think it could be funny
