Absolutely fixated on the Test Tube Baby Zedaph AU made by @raisans-art so I decided to do some fanart of the designs because man. I love them. I’m incredibly normal about this AU. It has actually made me cry but like in the best way. This was super fun to draw, go check out the original AU if you don’t know about it I am b e g g i n g you.

I DONT EVEN HAVE PARENTSL INSTINCTS OR FATHERLY PROTECTION BUT GOD I UNFERSTANF SO WELL. I WISH THERE WAS KORE FANFICS OF THEM AND DOC BEING OVERPROTECTIVE BC ITS CRINGE BUT SO GOOD THAT TROPE. I love the thought of people like teasing Jimmy and just someone who isn’t used to it or even know Jimmy properly defending him and telling everyone off. That’s why I think Keralis and Jimmy would be so good. I never expected Mumbo and Jimmy to a pair either but sure,Mumbo does annoy Jim a BIT but he doesn’t ever make fun of Jimmy like Grian or Joel do. I love healthy Jimmy friendships that don’t rely on bullying <3

Ren's a really interesting one in this AU because i know his general role as an antagonist, and as someone that Etho pissed off greatly when he was with the TIES crew which you know, comes back to bite him in the ass, but i never particularly figured out why or how all that happened. I toyed with the idea of Ren being king in both past and present but despite the idea having some merit to it, it didn't quite sit right with me (...maybe mostly because I like drawing Martyn pirate-y and couldn't get that if he was serving the crown).

Right now, I've ended up deciding a vague background for Ren. He was royalty at one point, first in line for the throne. As a prince, he had some duty to protect his citizens from pirates and criminals who ransacked the place every so often. He was kind of stupid as a young adult though, and made deals with pirates (*cough* TIES) to be able to get information that would help him deal with this threat.

It worked great for a few years but eventually Ren realized he couldn't keep up with what TIES was demanding of him in exchange for information. He also realised the whole thing was stupid and that he was stupid, and tried to cut it off. TIES had the upper hand in the situation, though, because the amount of backlash that he would recieve if the public found out he was working with pirates would be immense. TIES leaked this information, shit happened, Ren got in big trouble and trust in the crown was at an all time low. Bad stuff. Because of this, Ren faked his death and framed Etho, taking the spotlight off of his own mistakes and onto the . death of a literal prince and heir to the crown.

Suffice to say the guy blames Etho and the rest of TIES for ruining his life and will gladly get revenge. king shit right here.

Missy Wells is a doting mother in Starchild, and has been hurting for over 11-years until A-ddison returned. She’s been so lonely and grieving all that time.

She would absolutely adopt all of A-ddison’s friends as her little ducklings, and love having kids of varying ages to shower with affection.

She would be that super cool, ‘everyone’s-mom’ mom who invites a ton of teenagers over to her house and feeds them, or brings them to the family lake house for a week or two during the summer, or buys a really big van just so no one has to walk anywhere ever again because god damn it she’s ready to retire and love on her daughter, her boyfriend, and their friends.

Like, she is the crew’s Den Mother: need something to eat? Addy’s mom. Hurt? Addy’s mom! Need a place to sleep? Addy’s mom.

thinking about the Alpha-Z au. @autisticlalna how likely is livid to have taught zedaph Weird Skills and also do you think he knows lalnable is a murderhobo now

I am willing to be proven wrong on this, but I feel like if we gathered all sourts of Zedaphs from all sourts of different tumblr aus, only a few would really stand out as different from the rest.
