Things I've noticed and loved in lmk (and in the fandom)

I just remembered that I have an old Google Doc dedicated to lmk facts/thoughts, so I wanted to share this! Some of these are really well known, but I still find it neat.

Wukong is actually an artist just like MK.

Mayor is the only character with a known kill count (what the actual hell dude)

They had a Lego Monkie Kid hotel partnership only in china. They are meant to market a new season that is meant to come out. Some goodies in said hotel include Lego sets, lmk activity books, stickers, a bag, and more! (I'm still sad that they have it in China only)

PIF used to be a goddess as shown in the season 4 flashback.

Peng is actually canonically nonbinary (very rad)

Macaque basically has the dumbed down version of Wukong's powers

Red son also listens to soft jazz (which is funny). This fact is shown in the key episode!

Macaque can make a mech of himself at will??

The ship names are mostly made of food puns (and it's great).

Why does the Lego sets show red son without his glasses even though he never took them off until that one season 3 episode?? I know that the Lego sets are made before the seasons, but they made the mistake MULTIPLE times.

I find it funny how silktea shippers only have a few minutes of screen time to go off of.

what if i just. started sofia the first posting. i was thinking about how strange and also hilarious it is earlier. ok first of all: that one scnee where roland says "it's called a bicycle! it's like a unicycle, but with TWO WHEELS!" is the funniest thing ever. So y’all remember the final battle with Luz and co against belos? I noticed something real quick when watching it for the first time and that was Eda’s smiles.

They aren’t her normal happy smiles, they’re a lot different. I know that it’s most likely the animators giving their all for this scene which they did amazingly, but what if there were other reasons for her smile being different?

There’s two big things I thought when seeing her new bright smiles. 1 was more obvious but 2 was also a big thing for me

1. Luz is alive again and everyone is super happy about it, especially Eda because she is her unofficial second mom

2. What if in these moments, Eda realizes that Luz’s child-like happiness is back and that kinda gives her a huge wave of good emotions like her own child-like happiness? I can imagine Eda thinking “we got our kid back… yeah, WE GOT OUR KID BACK, BACK HOW SHE WAS WITH ALL HER HAPPINESS AND JOY!!!”
