Been thinking about this Hero!Zelda AU a lot. Been thinking about an older Link turned Captain of the Guard after saving Hyrule once, maybe twice already with the help of the ~*mysterious Sheik*~ who turned out to be Impa's nerd-ass grandson that initially hated him. Ten years after their whole enemies to friends saga and gaining prominent positions within the royal court, they've become close confidants. Maybe more. Depending on who you ask.

In the AU, sometimes he will get completely possessed and controlled by the malice, and wouldn’t be able to move a muscle. This piece is to show this type of moment. He’s there, but the world is completely silent and lifeless. Sunset time also has significant meaning. In Japanese Mythology, it’s the time when the two worlds meet, the living and the dead.

I always thought that these two characters needed more attention, their story is unique and I have always loved it

I love the master and student relationship that was created for them, how Twilight had the support of his predecessor, sharing a burden, that's why I developed their story more in my comic, and I can't wait for them to reunite!

Another WIP. Not sure how I feel about this design for Malon. I wanted to give her some traditional Japanese work clothes but I feel like she's wearing too many layers for them to look practical. Her mother was a Gerudo so maybe ill lean more into that. I wanna keep the bow tho. The bow is cute.

Twilight knows Wild's dreams are sometimes troubled. Animals pick up on these things. So on nights when he's awake and he hears the boy whimper, the partial weight of a furry body and a head to pet soothes Wild's scattered soul.

I was inspired by a certain movie scene to draw this a year ago. Twilight is in my opinion the heart of the group. Should another of his kin be suffering, he does anything he can to help. Emotional support wolf included.

Forgive me if the words read a bit odd. Writing isn't my strongest talent and I'm tired.

Was inspired by @smilesrobotlover to draw my Links with their horses. These were supposed to be doodles, but alas, I always make things harder on myself. 😂

Reading from left to right, we have Warrior, Twilight, Time, and Wild. All of them have to be horse girls in some way.

If I was to choose a favorite, I'd go with Twilight. The pulled back lips are great 🤣
