Jakob has a place in my heart no other f/o could have, simply because he and I are very, very similar and I've never felt represented in media (properly) before until I met him. I see myself in his canonical representation; he's shy, but also silly, accident-prone, he's a writer, he's not entirely interested in a romantic relationship (angelika doesn't exist lmao) but he is still full of love and he's a dreamer, romanticizing life and his existence to bring life to his world. He is also very childlike, but when the moment counts, he is able to conjure an adultlike persona enough to be taken seriously. I just really love that he is who I see myself as a lot of the time; it makes me feel more confident about who I am and it's easier to accept myself because he accepts himself as he is and if he can do it then so can I.

The first time? Honestly, it happened the first time we met🥺 We were both pretty giggly and silly around each other at first, but I couldn't stop looking at him and wanting to give him a big hug.

Jakob has some very silly moments, but some that make me laugh the most are:

when he's horrendously drunk at the inn and he's on top of the table practically screaming about the stories he's written and he sticks a playing card to his forehead😂 😂

when he is awakened at the inn by Cavaldi and he is still half asleep and he looks down and elbows Will and just goes "you've got rope tied around your foot" as if that is a completely normal statement but he says it on a yawn because he's still trying to wake up and it doesn't register with him what is actually going on😂

when he is following angelika through the woods to the castle for the first time and h'es babbling away like normal and he just hits his head on a branch and his helmet almost falls off but he's too tied up in what he's saying to stop and it's so so cute and silly😂 🥺 🥺

when he is sitting beneath the shadow of the tower and trying to write one of his stories and several noises startle him and he just scoots away from a stone statue like he's afraid it's about to come alive or something😂 😂 😂

his line delivery is something else too😂 and his facial expressions, if you just watch the faces he makes it's enough to make you laugh too😂 😂

I also always watch him when he first makes it into the tower because when he's walking in, he briefly reaches out and pets one of the bird's feathers (or tries to😂)

I'm realizing now that pretty much everything he does makes me laugh, but also when he just walks into Angelika's house and picks up a wolf statuette like it's his own house and has no regard for having just met this person😂 😂

Really hate that JC takes away from WWX's hard work of killing the xuanwu with LWJ by being a jealous asshole and WWX immediately has to try to joke and take care of JC's feelings when h'es still sick and weak and should be the one that people look after

Yeah, that’s such a Thing. WWX almost died, he’s been awake for like half an hour tops having just been through an immensely dangerous and upsetting experience and until JC (dickishly) tells him that LWJ went to Gusu he didn’t even know for sure that his friend survived. He did an amazing thing that almost no one could’ve managed and almost died in the process. He should have been comforted and supported by his family! Instead JC very much throws a temper tantrum and forces WWX to drag himself off of his sickbed and halfway through Lotus Pier to comfort him. It’s so incredibly selfish! He tells WWX to stop following him but doesn’t stop walking away when it becomes clear that WWX isn’t going to, even though WWX was the one being berated and insulted and used as a weapon JC forces WWX to comfort him and doesn’t say a fucking thing to comfort him. WWX has to tell JC he’ll be his loyal subordinate (not forever though! Always important to remember) before JC will stop actively behaving like a toddler with a new baby sibling for five seconds. People take this scene as an adorable scene between Yunmeng bros and... it’s really not, it’s a guy in his late teens (I believe 17 or 18 at the youngest) forcing his brother who just almost died to placate him like a spoiled child to the point where WWX has to essentially swear loyalty to him before he’ll calm down even a little! It’s not cute, it’s a short look into the depths of their relationship: even when WWX is actively in pain and suffering, JC expects him to put in the emotional labour. To coddle and comfort him while JC lashes out at his already-hurting sibling. JC is behaving like a child and WWX is being forced to comfort him while hurting far more than he is. Which about sums up their dynamic, but... I really don’t get why people take this as some massive display of what great brothers they are.

A/n: This felt rushed but I wanted to do a soulmate fic of them going on a date then just general meeting. -Admin Tae

You were giddy as you dressed in something light and cool for the days event. Something to really impress your soulmate. A few weeks ago you finally found your soulmate. Yuto Adachi.

The stars aliened and fate unveiled on the both of you and brought you guys together and it was true destiny that did it. You might always remember the day you met him.  

A couple of weeks ago you lost you cat sprinkles, panicked at the lost.  You searched all around for that cat. Side streets, main streets anywhere the cat normally goes. Not seeing him was making you rather sad.

After a full day of searching you found him in the arms of a dark haired male. He was playing with your cat all cute like. Your cat biting his finger gently and was getting a nice starch on his head.

The male looked up quickly as he uttered those words "Is he yours" he asked and you were stunned. Naturally it felt like you replied "I don't know he seems to like you more."

In that moment you met him. Your true match, your missing piece, your only one. Finding your soulmate was a heart pounding type deal but you were strangers none the less. It wasn't a fall in love that second but it did make a few sparks that day. Most soulmates fall in love fast since its chosen for you.

Then Yuto invited you to a amusement park as a date. A way for you two to get to know each other and enjoy some time together. Excited that today was your first official date with him.

Yuto was a mystery for you. You knew him from being one of the baseball stars of your town. Different schools separated you from ever talking to him. You heard great things about him. He was handsome with inky black hair and straight features and was on the tall side.

"Y/n you're mate is here" your mom called you breaking you of your thought. You blushed feeling all these butterflies grow in your stomach. You slightly cringed at the words mate since it was normally associated with animals and such. "Mom h'es not my mate hes my soulmate" you whined coming from your room to see Yuto standing  at the door.

Yuto spotted you with those alluring eyes "Oh your mom greeted me" he mumbled quietly looking at you. His eyes shifted away from you, his cute awkward personality was showing. And it was adorable "Don't mind her let's go" you said jumping toward him.

As you walked and talked with Yuto it felt so natural with him. Was this what everyone was telling you about. When you were with your soulmate everything felt like it was natural. He and you had similar tastes but also different ones. You promised to show him your cat more while Yuto said he should introduce you to some new music.

Being with him felt like a million things were happening. A beautiful melody with him was playing out.

"Here we are" he mumbled looking at the large amusement park. In the distance you could see boys waving towards you guys "Do you know them" you asked curiously pointing at the group. Almost hoping that would be a no.

Yuto rubbed his neck "Yeah my friends really wanted to come" he said. You gave a weak fake smile "Its fine I love meeting new people" you said. Yes you did love to meet new people but not on a date with your soulmate.

Meeting all his friends was new and fun. You still wished for some alone time but it seemed the boys were interested in meeting you and pushing your limits.

From going on five different rides, the haunted houses, and eating at it feels like a million food carts the day was so crazy it felt like Yuto blended in the background of your day. You always wanted to be near him but one of his friends would pull him away.

You gave a sad smile looking at your tattooed words missing having Yuto to yourself.

"Want to go on the water lodge" Wooseok said pulling you toward the water ride. Honestly you didn't want to go on. "No I'm fine" you said staying behind. "I'll stay with you" Yuto spoke up.

Yuto and you sat on the bench all day you haven't had any alone time with him. Your cute outfit was a waste. it was stupid thinking a date would actually work out. "This was a bust" you sighed glancing at his handsome face.

He smiled a bit his large hand slipped to yours. "I'm sorry they seem to like you" he said. You nodded suddenly you felt Yuto grab your chin leaving a small peck on your lips. Your face grew hot and your hands sweaty.

"Yuto" you squealed out. Surprised but actually really happy. "Just a more personal way to say I'm sorry" he smirked at you.

"Its fine I kinda liked it" you admitted blushing. Yuto awkwardly looked away "let do something for just with us I'll text them" he said. You smiled feeling Yuto pinky lock into yours as he lead you towards what looked to be like a gentle swan ride for couples.

Maybe it wasn't a perfect first day but at least you got a kiss.
