The thing to understand about me as a writer, specifically as I'm working on writing the end of this show, is that Tangled is my favorite movie.
Do with this information what you will :)

I just really like how you can see in the two different versions of Emo Sparrow Ben that they adjusted his way of being a dick like. slightly to the left in-between seasons. Just adjusted the dial from angry to cold, which is an interesting shift.

i do love how a good bit of the steddie height difference is in steve's hair it's kind of funny. i feel like they'd do that thing where they constantly get back to back and make other people measure them at every opportunity like 9 year olds but the other person is usually robin who will always lie depending on how funny it is and who would be crushed the most (eddie) (who cries). sopping wet back to back after getting out of the pool. but ultimately i am comfortable in my KNOWLEDGE not my opinion my KNOWLEDGE!!!! that steve is like an inch or so taller. under the hair. because you can't just change joe keery's dna for your own insane yaoi-minded purposes. they're looking each other directly in the eyes and that's final.

Additional Tags: can delusionaltogether write actual angst? let's find out, this is going to hurt me so badly to write i can already tell, um, Alternate Universe - Post-Canon, Fix-It of Sorts, not really but sure we'll throw that in there, Mike Wheeler Needs a Hug, And Also Therapy Probably, Mike Wheeler Loves Will Byers, Will Byers Loves Mike Wheeler, Will Byers Has Powers, a fucked-up version of flickergate, Mike Wheeler is a Mess, Fluff and Angst, a pretty even amount i'd say, Touch-Starved, Like, aggressively so
Summary:
Mike breathes out sharply, sinking to his knees in front of Will without conscious thought. Every bone in his body is turning to jelly, because Will is here, but he's also- not. His form is made up of the same dusty gold that fills the air around him, flaking off him and dancing around. Mike wants to reach out and catch the light in his palm. Will looks not entirely solid, like this is some poor imitation of him rendered in light particles, like his physical form is somewhere else, and for a horrible moment Mike thinks that Will is a ghost after all. That this is an illusion, brought about by Mike's hopeless yearning. If it weren't for the pebbles digging sharply into his legs as he knees on the ground and the crisp chill of the spring air on his face, Mike would be sure he was dreaming, but he doesn't think he could dream up something so simultaneously as magical and horrifying as the specter of his maybe-dead friend hovering before him.
"Will," he whispers, reaching out until his fingers are centimeters from Will's arm, and Will's eyes fly open.
on march 29th, 1986, will byers vanishes for a second time. 366 days later, he reappears.

arcane starters || @conzierge / Moa Zhao whispered, ❝ don’t be so concerned. i’m about to make your day. ❞ || accepting
It might be the dirt stuck between his teeth or the blood on his bottom lip from a cut that’s already healing, a million different variations of the way this planet and yet another system lord starved for power attempt to break his body-- but he’s not so optimistic. Chin to the ground, camouflaged behind singed foliage, Khan finds that this nearly feels like home and home breeds a vicious bitterness that sits under his tongue and in his belly. Teeth grinding against stone, unable to stand. It’s poetic in a way that nauseates him; a petty, pitiful thought cast aside for the skirmish at hand.
“Do you plan to rip the worm out of him and tear it in two with your bare hands?” he muses, not entirely serious despite the situation, offering her a look that, for him, might indicate the slightest hint of amusement. If it is there at all, it does not linger, and vanishes with the wind. While he no longer doubts the capability of SG-1, Moa provides a certain type of stability that proves to be rare in the galaxy.
“If not, do not mind my pessimism.”
