After reading about Irene 13 in the Ben 10, I began to think of what her origin would be and how I could make her different to Ben Tennyson.

So far, I got:

Irene Thorton, a young girl living in the streets. One night, some older kids harass her in a park, before a small meteor fell from the sky and nearly hit them.

She recovered quickly and looked closer, watching what looked like a strange bug hatching out of a soft egg.

The others recover only to see the bug leaping onto her wrist and biting her.

In her attempt to get it off, she turned into a werewolf, scaring the kids away.

She, then, ran off until she changed back. She decided to experiment in private. Transforming into Nightblood (Vladat) for the first time was not a great experience. Especially when the first time was during the day.

On the way, she would help as many people as she can, no matter how ungrateful or scared of her they are.

Eventually, she would be found by some "monsters" lead by Zs'Skayr, including Doctor Viktor, who made her Omnitrix.

She would get adopted and they would live in a manor in Bellwood owned by Zs'Skayr.

She would get into all sorts of shenanigans. Going to school, help Doc Vik with his experiments, play anf prank with her new cousins, Zs'iza and Zs'oise, meet and be besties Charmcaster and have Zs'Skayr and Spellbinder be colleagues, etc.

This is a new Roguelite TD game that is free to play. Even though it is a simple game it can be complex in the way you defend the switches. I recommend trying different things out with what you do but do not rely on just one strategy because the game is randomly generated each time you play. Also, pick whatever you feel is best or like for the options. This game is very unique in how you build out the map with having to connect a chain of cables and put towers on the cables, I like this aspect a lot. This game is very fun. I have only played one other game like this one and that was Core Defense which is a lot of fun too. I would love to play more games like this. See my first impressions of this game by watching.

Here is the Frankenstorm that incorporated the remnants of Zeta streaking to the Northeast. It's likely to bring a solid, soaking rain to the whole I-95 Corridor from DC to Boston. Wind will also be a factor today, as the low center approaches, but that will be a secondary concern, mostly because with leaves still on most trees, there will be pockets of flooding in areas where leaves clog drains.

Well it looks like my area is going to get a late season hurricane, nicknamed "Frankenstorm". It seems appropriate now to post a prayer for protection. This is one of my own, based loosely on the style of the Carmina Gadelica.
