HEAVY RAINS BRING FLASH FLOODS TO NORTHERN IRAN
📹 Intense flash floods wipe everything out of its path following heavy rains in the village of Angujan, in the Tasouj District of Shabstar County in northern Iran.
Heavy rains also brought flooding to South Khorasan, in eastern Iran, with some roads blocked due to intense floods.
Flooding was also reported in Shamsabad, in Dezful in central Iran, as well as in Torbet Jam, in Khorasan Razavi Province, in northeast Iran.

Southern California has been experiencing some extreme weather in recent years. We're doing our best to make sense of terms and guidance that can be confusing in already stressful moments.

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and actor Angelina Jolie is in Pakistan to meet victims of the recent floods. After touring the affected areas, Jolie visited the National Flood Response Coordination Center on Sept 21 to find out more about the response.
Severe flash floods have left a third of the country underwater and killed more than 1,160. The United Nations and Pakistan have issued an appeal for $160 million in emergency funding.

Rain on Mt. Pinos Today, Fizzled out in FP
June 11, 2023
I was hoping to post about thunderstorms today, but they happened everywhere around us but not here. This is actually pretty typical of a place with a lot of orgonite. Often the storms happened all around but not at ground zero. But I am encouraged at the amount of rain already occurring in California and the Southwest at the beginning of monsoon season. We have a chance of rain here every day for the  next several days, so hopefully the weather will get more interesting soon.

Quote
Floods were estimated to be the costliest disaster from Asian countries including China and India. China lost $18.4 billion due to floods, followed by India ($3.2 billion) and Thailand ($0.6 billion). India lost $4.4 billion due to storms, followed by China $3 billion and Japan $2 billion. In 2021, over 80 per cent of the extreme events were floods and storms. Floods in India, China and Afghanistan caused the greatest number of fatalities, highlighting the high level of vulnerability of Asia, especially to floods. In India, during the monsoon season, the heavy rain and flash floods resulted in about 1,300 human deaths, the report cited.

the earth floods as it sees water for the first time in months- it does not know how to take it in anymore
shows on the tv cut out, replaced with the sustained shriek of warning
friends, close by but out of reach, speak of jumping in just to feel something
we dream of doing the same
maybe our corpses will end up in the same creek

What Happened to the Heat Wave?
Sept. 24, 2022
We had an exceptionally high OR day with warm but temperate conditions in the mountains. Unexpected monsoonal moisture from the tropics provided pleasant clouds in the afternoon and although the media has been hysterical about the hot temperatures coming up, there was nothing out of the ordinary going on today, other than these new higher humidity conditions in California and the west!
The local conditions told me that I would be likely to find it raining relatively nearby today if I checked the radar. These are the OR clouds that form during monsoon season and indicate isolated thunderstorms could pop up anywhere. They usually occur in the afternoon in the desert.
Unlike the hot conditions the media was promoting, we had normal early fall weather and even rain in the desert which was not forecast. This afternoon, the National Weather Service out of Phoenix issued weather warnings for eastern California. It began as a “Special Weather Statement,” but ended up with flash flood warnings for some desert areas.
The flash flood warning issued for Riverside County said that 1-2 inches of heavy rain had already fallen and another inch was possible. These warnings included hail and gusty winds.
There were no flyers until afternoon. Those that did show up were varied in style, the strangest one being bright yellow and white, with no trail, and accompanying the sound of a plane in a different part of the sky. The energy was too ORish for them to fly their crafts today.
