Despite concerns over her health and rumors of abdication, our blessed Queen seems to have returned to her usual self with the coming of summer. In accordance with custom, yesterday afternoon the Queen held a private tea for the freshest faced fem nobilis to take entry into Diluvidom society.
This year, after a significant delay, the twenty-three summers strong Fabia Aventi, Comitissa In Agresti has finally entered court. The Avanti family has always been a strong ally of the crown so there were some hopes from their end that perhaps the young Fabia would catch a certain Prince's eye. Unfortunately it seems as though the Comitissa may already be claimed as the family recently announced she is no longer available for contract. That being said she is still expected to attend all the major events of the season.
Now for Doma Genevieve Valencia, things are not quite as certain. As the second child of the Maiora of Sylvadom this young lady is sure to catch the attentions of any young man in need of a well reared Matrona. She is said to speak three continental languages and attended the prestigious Salt House Academy in The Havens for her focus studies. She may be a long way from home but we have no doubts the people of the Capitol will give her a good welcome.
