The themesong from the Ellensburg Rodeo, “Ride ‘Em Cowboy”. I’d laugh, but there was sheet music to the themesong to the Western Washington Fair, “Do The Puyallup”, available some years ago.

I admit I do not know this song because for some reason they never advertised on the Yakima stations, one county up the river. But I will forever have the Central Washington State Fair’s themesong -- the one where the lyric was “We’ve got a whole lotta, whole lotta fair” one year and the next, likely in the same recording session, “Oh, what a, oh, what a, oh, what a fair” -- stuck in MY head.

Chester’s Bees @ Ellensburg Farmers Market

Bought a dark honey called Medicine Valley with a caramel, light sweet flavor. Besides great honey, I would have bought merch with his logo Gettin Bzzzzy and bees circling his head. He couldn’t sell T-shirts at the market because they weren’t printed by him.
