With a snap of his fingers, the forest floor reappeared around them.

Aurum looked up at the ribboned night sky, streaked in his dancing light.

She nodded, getting a reprimand from Astarion for moving her head. Reaching back and pinching his side. Astarion smiling at her lovingly.

His heart ached to go to her. But he had research to do.
