so the plot:
the four witches live in the forest, young asteria and risette studying with the elder two
Risette is tempted by the fiend that is sealed within and draws asteria in, releasing and fusing into diabell
the elder witches sacrifice themselves to undo this, becoming sinful spoils
Now diabellstar collects sinful spoils to try and save her mentors, while diabellz (now an illusion type like diabell and probably possessed) continues to hound and tempt diabellstar to become diabell together again

So today on ‘weird/funny stuff in Yugioh card lore I found’, I’d like to talk about the protagonist of what is looking to be YGO’s latest ‘storyline series’ of cards:
Her name is Diabellstar the Black Witch and she is kind of amazing?
Apparently, she is a treasure hunter who collects ancient/demonic/cursed artifacts and slays monsters.
She has a collection of adorable demonic pets/symbiotes who turn into badass weapons and monsters
She apparently does crime and is wanted by the authorities.
She fights wacky goblin bikers and goes absolutely apeshit on them when they steal one of her pets.
Also she has a RIVAL/possible past or future GF.
What’s not to love?

We're back in a reveals week and we've gotten some big ones tonight! It's a new Synchro archetype for LIGHT Spellcasters and Illusions called White Wood but more importantly: it's the next part of the Sinful Spoils story!
We're flashing back to our treasure hunters' childhoods as Asteria and Risette, along with the human versions of Diabellstar's Sinful Spoils Silvera and Rciela Luciela, plus a new character, Diabell, the heart of the White Woods and the evident source of the girls' future magical powers!
Gameplay-wise they seem like a solid Synchro archetype with a lot of consistency. The Synchro version of Silvera seems really nice as a generic Level 6, being able to Set the opponent's board on summon and inherently being a 2400 beater with double piercing damage. Diabell is also pretty nasty, a generic Level 8 that can get any Spell or Trap from the GY if you summoned it with a Synchro Tuner.
Looking forward to what this bunch is capable of!
