elucien as high king and high queen is something i think about on a daily basis

lucien is directly connected to 4 courts atp, but he's also an emissary with friends across all prythian and the continent

elain is a cauldron blessed seer, sister to feyre cursebreaker, a lady of the society

the alliances they could make go hard tbh

but also they would be so powerful together, i can't

I just had an interesting anon, where they asked exactly how Lucien might be able to help Elain train her Seer powers.

It's a valid question because, as they appear to be rare, there doesn't seem to be anyone that can teach Elain in the way Rhys and Cassian taught Feyre and Nesta how to fight. It would have been nice had we gotten any mention that the IC was trying to locate someone who might be able to help her, especially after she volunteered to try and reacquaint herself with her powers, but since they all just decided to keep on living without bothering themselves with that.....

I do think Helion's library is an obvious solution for her, a place to research everything they can find on Seers throughout the ages. But maybe Day Court actually has it's own Seers........

Doesn't it seem odd that both Helion and Lucien seem to share powers somewhat similar to Elain?

Lucien knew ahead of time that Cassian was about to knock because he "sensed" someone.

Helion was able to locate Feyre when even Rhys had no idea she was missing at first (just as Elain was able to locate the Suriel when Feyre could not).

I definitely think Day Court will be the place that Elain and Lucien will go in order to get answers on her Seer powers, powers that they might have a little bit of knowledge on themselves.

this whole “cauldron mates” vs “true mates” thing is so… silly.

to say that eluciens bond can’t be considered true because of how fast the bond snapped into place, and it was only made as a power match. lucien tolerated a lot from tamlin during ACOMAF (and ACOTAR if we’re being honest) but the minute he saw elain getting dragged into the cauldron, he stepped in. it’s similar to rhys in ACOTAR, who felt protective of feyre despite her being human and just knew. of course i mean it’s basic decency to step in when you see your friend kidnapped his ex girlfriends sister, but still lucien stepped up to the king of hybern in order to help her and stop it. literally the only thing that stopped him from getting to her was the kings magic. you could argue that in those few moments they interacted before she turned fae he felt the same protectiveness that rhys felt, he just acted a bit more impulsively lol. that bond was always there (same with nessian too even though that one took longer to snap) also rhys & feyres bond snapped into place pretty quickly when re-meeting as fae.

so it’s midnight and im tired but i have to speak my truth: what im trying to say is by saying eluciens bond has no chance of being a “true bond” then you’d also have to cross examine feysands bond too. yk the two main characters in the series.

anyways one day closer to eluciens power couple era.

Hello @laxibbeb it's me! Your Secret Santa, revealed! Oh, you gave me so much inspiration with your answers and I want to thank you for the time you took to write them for me. This is the first time that I participate to the @acotargiftexchange and I felt the pressure a bit. But it's amazing when people create spaces where we can express ourselves, right? I have to say that from your first answer I got this silly little idea stuck in my mind that didn't leave my brain at all. So I decided to combine some things together. Elucien through the Courts? Say no more, I'm gonna make a whole journey for them. But how? You need to know that your lovely little Secret Santa can't cross two words together but has a small talent into visualizing concepts. So I said "Listen, what people usually do during trips?". They send postcards to their loved ones! And so here we are, with a carousel of postcards! Each one is unique for every Court and has some small messages inside! At the end, a small story came to me and I just realized it when I finished!

I really really hope you will appreciate your gift, I created a little tracklist too as you can see. <3
