On today's episode of "Wacky Revenant Production Posting":

Finalizing Vita's design Part 1

WARNING: MUCHO TEXTO

So Vita, as we all know her, was a design I just sort of happened upon last June, nearly a year ago - the character at the time was still very vague, not much set in stone as far as personality and narrative, didn't really even bother to flesh out specific features like her face.

The model was thrown together very quickly using one (1) reference. She didn't get to a point where I could say "yeah, that's how she's gonna look for the remainder of the project", I just kind of stopped halfway through before her design fully settled in. I had to fill in some blanks as I was making it, and I'm not super satisfied with how she turned out as a result off all dat

So this past week I done did a lil bit of experimenting

First I thought to myself "hrmm what if she had literal DBZ hair"

This was brought on by the fact that her hairstyle was based on Gohan from DBZs Cell Saga

So I tried that. Kinda cute tbh, but it wasn't a serious consideration as I didnt want to remove her curly hair

After that, I tried some takes on her that had a similar vibe, mostly worrying about her silhouette and drawing her face in a way that was more consistent with her brother (she desperately needed to be updated with how my art style has changed since that last design)

Visually, she's been missing a certain "edge" that the character is being written with

As I said before, I didn't want to get rid of her curly hair but I think do want it to be looser - it's just something I like from older artwork of her and it'll be more consistent with her siblings

It also helps her Latina side come out just a smidge more imo, while still clearly being black as well (as a Latina who grew up in a very Latino-heavy area myself, she looks like people I grew up around lol)

Talking about stuff people need to know about ENIGMA DO MEDO (enigma of fear) before playing it (and some non important sutff that i just want yall to know about)

• YOU DON'T NEED TO WATCH ORDEM PARANORMAL TO UNDERSTAND WTF IS HEPPENING ON THE GAME, even tho there is character's that play/played a really big role on the rpg that dosent affect the story, everything you need to know about the universe is gonna be explained in game by Agatha and Samuel

• even tho is in the same universe as cellbit's rpg THE GAME IS NOT A RPG

• you can use rituals but not on combat

• you gonna have only two weapons (as mia) a pistol with limeted anmo and crowbar

• the game is gonna be dubbed in portuguese (obviously) and english, unfortunaly no espanish dubs but we are gonna have spanish translations

• We gonna have a lot of accessibility modes

• we can pet the dog

• the game is gonna have more then one ending and have a cannon ending

• we can play with mia, lupi and Veríssimo

• the game is rated 14 (one year older pg-13 lol)

• has non-linear investigation

• Agatha's birthday was on the day of the showcase, 16 of june (she was making 19 years old)

• there a big names on brazilian voice acting on the game, Guilherme Briggs (voice of supermen, Mickey Mouse,Samurai Jack,Optimus Prime etc.) And Wendel Bezerra the Brazilian voice of goku from dbz (if your latino you know how big this is)

• When cellbit was asked what happens if lupi dies/if lupi can die he did't answer it, he just took a sip of his coffee 😥

• Lupi was voiced by cellbit's dog Lobinho

• The game is gonna have two dlcs inspired by two seasons of the rpg (o segredo na floresta and Desconjuração) but they are not developing it now the foucous is on finishing the game

• The game is gonna be ported on Xbox, Playstation and on switch but the foucus is on PC

• The game is gonna be on pre-sale till the day before it launches

• we still dont have a date of realese but we know for sure that is gonna be this year!

• agatha is a lesbian

• Agatha thinks that shadow the headhog using a gun is really cool

We've been at a stage for a while now where people see fit to tell people of a particular culture that they're wrong about how their culture should be handled and such.

Isn't like DBZ up there? It's one of the few animes that usually gets a pass

DBZ has existed forever and is one of the anime to popularize the medium in the west especially among black and Latino communities. There is I shit you not a ice cream truck covered in beautiful hand drawn artwork of DBZ outside the local planned parenthood.

but dragon ball isn’t up there for the same reason Hellsing is:it’s fucking stupid. Toriyama is not a good story teller but he is an entertaining one, and that’s why people love watching burly men throw hands and energy blasts at each other for several hundred episodes.
