Postmodern art
To me postmodern art is a way of expressing ones self without having it be so confined to todays idea of what art should be. A lot of art is only validated if it is a piece in a gallery or part of a studio exhibit. Postmodernism is about getting back to the roots of art and showing the world that anything and everything is art. It’s just about expressing yourself and showing the world your feelings.
Types and examples of postmodern art from “Barrett 2008 Approaches to Postmodernism 2″
1. Escaping the confines of museums - “Spiral Jetty”, Earth, Robert Smithson 1999
2. Collapsing Boundaries between “High and Low“ - “Title TBD”, Acrylic on canvas mounted on aluminium frame, Takashi Murakami, 2018
3. Rejecting Originality - “Marilyn Diptych”, Acrylic paint of canvas, Andy Warhol, 1962
4. Jouissance - “On prospère dans l'amour des autres”, Oil paint on canvas, Vittoretti, 2019
5. Working Collaboratively - “Olympic Rings”, Acrylic paint on canvas, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, 1985
6. Appropriating - “Girl with a pearl cellphone”, Oil paint on canvas, John Jackson, 2014
7. Simulating - “A Harlem Hangover”, buttons, Beau McCall, 2016
8. Hybridizing - “Auto Hybridization Auto hibridacion”, Oil paint on canvas, Fernando A Hernandez, 2012
9. Mixing media - “Rusty”, (collage, paint, stenciling, and a handmade 3D bird filled with luscious, rusted details), Gwen Lafleur, 2020
10. Layering - “Los Moscos”, Acrylic paint on canvas, Mark Bradford, 2004
11. Mixing codes - “Servin with a smile”, Oil paint on canvas, Michael Ray Charles, 1994
12. Recontextualizing - “Starry night in mordor”, Digital, Daobiwan, 2020
13. Confronting the Gaze - could not find title, Digital, Erin Lux, could not find date.
14. Facing the Abject - “self”, blood, Marc Quinn, ongoing
15. Constructing Identities - “Illistration for James Joyce’s Ulysses”, not stated, Mimmo Paladino, 2004
16. Using Narratives - “Liberty Leading the People“, Oil paint on canvas, Eugene Delacroix, 1830
17. Creating Metaphors - “The Solidity of the Road to Metaphor and Memory“, Oil paint on canvas, Misha Reznikoff, 1934
18. Irony, Parody, and Dissonance - “The Persistence of Cookies”, not stated, Joel Schick, 2015

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
/Anakin Skywalker/
I can't wait for his grandson's first words in this scene (not my pic):
It also remind me of "The Little Prince" a lot. We('ll) have: sand, Prince, taming, friendship, love, His rose (and Finn's Rose). Also it remind me this great graphic by DAObiwan:
Beautiful, don't you think? Maybe it'll be sand version of it? 😍
