Inquisitors.
My ideal is to find an Inquisitor who knows Mjara is suspicious. His first husband was rumored to be a heretical black mage, but died before any proper investigation could be conducted. I'd love to have some sort of cat-and-mouse relationship. Bickering/Bantering would be an immense plus.
Criminals.
Mjara has ties to an organization called The Crown, a criminal syndicate that is centralized in Ishgard. Mjara is generally used as a "face" between members of the syndicate & civilians, so can be seen working in all facets of the underbelly of society. He specializes in information brokering & buying illegal/dangerous items.
If anyone wants to be an active part of The Crown, I am definitely open to such relationships. Mjara has notable relationships to NPCs, including: cleaners and those who are assigned to him as "guards." He's also very familiar with the organization head. If you'd like to have your character know one of these NPCs, or be the NPC themselves-- I'm open to discussion!
Criminally-oriented Noble Ishgardian Houses
If your character is part of a House in Ishgard that may be affiliated with The Crown, or have used Mjara's more illegal, discreet services, I'd love to discuss this as well!

Since he's recently been "revamped/retconned," Mjara has virtually no social relationships. I'd like to change this! Though this could mean befriending him, this is quite hard to do. Frenemies/Enemies/Rivals are much more likely with him! But, I'm definitely not opposed to trying for a friendship.
Past/Present Patrons & Flings
Mjara performs burlesque, and is rather good at it! Though he usually performs in Ul'dah, he does indeed do private performances for people in Ishgard. If you have a character that may have seen him perform (be it in Ishgard or Ul'dah), or would like to, hmu! Additionally, Mjara sleeps around pretty casually. If you'd like to have this be an established/future relationship (and maybe get some scandalous plotlines going), this is also something I'm open to!

Character Roster & LFRP
While this blog is largely dedicated to content surrounding my main, August Mercer, I do share drabbles and screenshots that feature my other characters as they exist in his world. So, I thought I would take the time to make a roster so people would know a bit more about the characters themselves.
Character Roster
This currently only features the OCs that I regularly play and does not incorporate NPCs I have created for story arc purposes or characters that have been retired to position of NPC. I plan to add them later. I’ve left them out for now because I thought I might also use this post as a sort of LFRP and only wanted to offer information on characters I am willing to active play.
I’ve been having some issues drumming up in-game RP lately as my RP groups have largely moved to Discord only as their lives are quite busy and prevent them from regularly logging in. Which is totally cool, but I am hoping to get back into some in-game interactions. Lemures: While not necessarily a member of this Reaper-led organization, Argos has spent a fair bit of time with them in his Void-related endeavors. He also might be a little too eager to throw himself into danger if that danger involves the Thirteenth.
"Retired" Scion of the Seventh Dawn: As it says on the tin. After all, the Scions disbanded recently, right? That should give him the chance to pursue his own adventures.

«Meracydian Priestess» It's clear this Miqo'te is not from the shores of Eorzea or anything close to that. The way she speaks is strange, her mannerisms are unlike many have ever seen. Perhaps you've seen her squint over Eorzean scripture, it's clear she lacks basic comprehension of reading. Some assistance wouldn't go amiss.
«Aether» Pavi is insistent that she is tempered, it's evident on the mark of her aether which is earth-aspected heavily. With the availability of cures for tempering being so widely available, why is she so insistent on it being tempering if it hasn't been cured yet? There's certainly something not quite right, and it isn't that just that pallid complexion.
«Summoner» While perhaps not quite similar to the practitioners of Eorzea, the only way to describe the manipulation of aether is certainly 'Summoning'. Those with an interest in academics or aetheric techniques may find it interesting to compare proverbial notes.
«Ruin Diver» Through the 'consumption' of magical artefacts, Pavi manages to sustain herself through the 'tempering'. While the Keeper of the Moon certainly struggles with maintaining a handle on gil, there's always the 'organic' method of collecting strange items.

A reclusive and selective estate, House Madaras has made a name for itself over the last century with its incredible leniency when it comes to illicit research. Vast on-site archives, bountiful resources and plenty of 'willing' subjects to play with means that not much is truly out of bounds within the House.
It is a haven of willful ignorance where the morally ambiguous may thrive. A place of learning where few things are taboo and fewer still are deemed off-limits....
~Inspired by the world of Bloodborne and the Antivan Crows of Dragon Age~
House Madaras and its underbelly, the Serpent's Warren, is set up as a place for characters of more dubious alignments and persuasions to play; assassins, murderers, manipulative socialites, eccentric mages and so on! A place where very few things are off limits, and the darker things encouraged. We welcome people to play deviously, to use each others characters like pieces on a board and utilize the setting to its fullest.
As a heavy, 21+ RP group our intent is to give writers a well-crafted setting to explore the darker & maturer themes of FFXIV RP. We keep our setting grounded; we don't deal in over-powered characters here. But we do deal in consequences.
We are a small and selective group with a zero policy for drama. Given the nature of our themes, we are quite strict and place great importance on communication and consent.

Happy Hour - Bards & Bands Wanted
Hello, folks! It's been a while, so we wanted to give everyone a quick update about our Happy Hour events on the last Thursday of each month. We have decided to move away from the macro performance portion of the Happy Hour events for the time being, either permanently or until more new macro performers enter the community and our past performers become more available in their schedules. Rest assured, Happy Hour is here to stay. The events will continue and will be resuming soon!
However, we are going to shift the focus away from the performance and musical aspect, and more toward casual, social RP tavern night events with a classy speakeasy vibe. We would love to be able to keep the spirit of the music and entertainment alive within the event and make the most of our stage downstairs, however, so if you are a bard who likes to play music with the in game bard performance feature and are available Thursday evenings within the timeframe of 9:00 - 11:00 PM EST on NA, please contact us!
(Please note: this is a voluntary basis, as there will likely be no pay beyond personal tips because we are a non-profit, gil-free venue for our guests.)
