A redux of the Eyes of the Ancients mod in the style of Bright Eyes by Elegy. It always bothered me how washed out and pale the existing Eyes of the Ancients mods that provide glow are, so I set out to make a version that has more contrast with darker dark areas of the iris and more vivid glows in places that make sense. Did I need to? No. Is it kinda silly when it'll probably break in two months? Yeah. But look how pretty! (❁´◡`❁)

Hello Again Friends

Forgive my absence and the removal of the Coffee&Carbuncles podcast. After a rather tumultuous two weeks I have decided to return simply as a regular player. I have no idea about my future as a content creator but at present I will say I am very happy to see you all again. I hope you've been well. To let everyone know. Coffee & Carbuncles will be returning to YouTube soon after many fan requests. For now as an archive, possibly with new interviews later on. A few guests have asked their interviews not be archived and I respect that. I refuse to post an interview without my guest's consent.

I'm really excited to announce my little server is live!

SEAFLOOR will be effectively split into two parts; one part are my resources, including question drives, compendium support and other bits and bobs; the other a laid-back social side where people can come and go as they please.

I want to stress you do not need to join the server to participate in my community projects; they're not going anywhere, nor is it mandatory for you to even participate in the social side if you don't want to. If you want to join just so you can get a ping when I run question drives, or submit your server to the compendium, you are more than welcome to use it just for that.

It's been a long time since I've dedicated a lot of time to moderating anything. With that in mind, there are some ground rules I'll highlight here where I go into more depth in the server.

SEAFLOOR is adult-only, 21+. I don't want minors in my space.

As this is a server for adults, I expect you to act like adults. This includes, but is not limited to; enacting your own media literacy in muting, blocking and disengaging with people/topics you don't like; doing your due diligence to protect yourself and others with proper content warnings, spoiler tagging and triggers; keeping to Discord's ToS and respecting people's boundaries and privacy. If I have to moderate, I will be harsh in implementation because I don't have the time for it. Like all my projects, if it becomes too much of a chore or detrimental for my mental health, I will delete it without hesitation. This might be a 'public' server, but it is still my server. I won't hesitate.

In sum: 'Be excellent to each other'. Treat others how you want to be treated, don't start discourse and sort your shit in private. Use your common sense and don't be creepy/weird.

SEAFLOOR is not and will not be my main server. There are times where I will be busy, unavailable or otherwise disinterested. It is as much a hold for my projects as it is a place for me to meet people in a low-stakes environment. I would not call this an 'active' server, nor am I aiming for it to be.

If you agree to all of this so far, please go ahead and give it a shot!

Perhaps this is common knowledge and I'm just speaking into the void here, but thought it couldn't hurt to share this trick just in case it might benefit someone else. This applies for Anamnesis on PC.

If you want to use the emotes of another race/gender than that of your character, you can do so by pausing and register the emotes you'd like to use and then apply it to your desired character.

It works pretty well across the board regardless of height or proportions, and the tweaking required is minimal (mostly for facial expressions and general hand/limb placement).

Again, maybe this is common knowledge, but this is my personal go-to screenshot trick nowadays so thought maybe it might be beneficial for someone else.

Reminder that if there is stuff you dislike about the updated graphics we are witnessing in the Benchmark or feel somethings could be implemented better. You can still chime in on the forums to provide feedback. There is still a couple months left. And they've been addressing issues a step at a time with each major hurdle. These updates are still not set in stone and there is still time. So rather than just shit posting or raging at some changes make your voice heard. Be constructive in the criticism and remember they are listening particularly intently for these updates.

Producer Live Letter 81 is on or around May 16.

Dragon Quest X returns from June 5 through June 20.

Producer Live Letter 82 is on or around June 14.

48 Hour Maintenance June 26th through 28th; the expansion shouldn't take too much longer than normal, but they want to give folks plenty of time to download.

Early Access begins on June 29th.

Official Launch July 2nd.
